The decor was appropos for a seaside resort. The fireplace in the room was quite novel and to have a REAL four poster bed and mattress, how divine! Slept well! Really could hear the people next door. Their radio, them talking...
Great Hotel. Clean quiet and nice staff. The restaurant was good.
Simple, moved us to a better room when we requested and no questions asked. No night staff to take care of the idiots on the second floor.
Great staff, great view.
Room was very nicely furnished ie. fireplace, LCD TV.
The rooms are clean and recently remodeled to high standards. Clumsy check-in system.
Rooms were nice hotel was cute Front desk informed us we would have to go to the restaurant for ice . When we arrived to the restaurant they informed us they do not give out ice and we would have to go to the ice machine . Confusing
The rooms were perfect for a short weekend getaway. Clean, modern and welcoming! The staff were wonderful and the restaurant right next to the Inn (same owner) has a fantastic feel of cozy and fun all at the same time.
Clean, updated rooms. No carpet so no hidden gems! Had cloth slippers to cushion the floor. Fridge and microwave, coffee machine every thing one needs. Nice shower. Not a thing!
Very nice inner courtyard area. Recently renovated with nice furniture. Overall very nice motel. Highly recommended.
nothing special . it had juccuzzi room which we didn't use and they reduced our rate from 175 down to 149 which was nice. Nice Lebanese restaurant next door. Motel staff did double duty. dark and gloomy. Maybe it's a canada thing? 20 watt light bulbs. I guess so no one steals them?
The location was perfect for our needs. The staff were very polite and answered all my questions in a very professional manner. Gave us a few pointers about restaurants, shopping etc. Beds were comfortable and the room was neat and clean. A tad pricey for this time of the year. No amenities besides free parking and internet. Would have been nice to have had breakfast included seeing that there is a restaurant adjoining the premises.
This is a nice small hotel we were able to park right outside our room's door. Our 'neighbors' respected our privacy and enforced a quiet time with their kids. The bed was way hard. And the bed cover and some decorative pillows were covered in a nasty nylon duvet and pillow covers. Not pleasant to nap on at all. The attached restaurant closed at 8 PM on Friday night so we had to rush to get supper.
It was clean and comfy
Staff was friendly. Bed was nice and comfortable. Air conditioner was pretty loud.
Room very clean. Both my wife and I liked the beds, very comfortable. Breakfast was very welcome. Had to use stairs to get to the second floor. No elevator.
the staff, the layout of the room and services the bed was uncomfortable
Over our two day stay, we visited Point Pelee Park, several local wineries, and cycled on Pelee Island.
We were cheerfully upgraded to a King bed Room. Very convenient to be with our relatives living in this area. Missed out on the continental breakfast, though. We wish the Continental Breakfast was open another hour or so!!
When i checked in they had no record of the booking i made on line even when i produced the confirmation number. this has happened to me with this property in the past.
Absolutely nothing. Hotel is outdated, dirty, We were put into a smoking rm instead of non smoking just because we had our dog with us, even though this was mentioned when reservation was made. Hotel Manager not accomodating, rude.
Beds were comfortable, staff were pleasant Breakfast was horrible - hotel in fresh produce country and they serve can fruit salad also it was full of carbs E.G. waffles, toast, muffins, cereal absolutely no protein E.G. eggs, bacon etc. Also tv has no hbo, no movie channel, can't buy movies - it only had cable, very low tech
it really was just an adequate hotel with nothing special...it had a good treadmill. I wish I had booked through the hotel itself instead of through the internet because I would have paid much less [at least $50] and I would have received credit for my Wyndham card which I couldn't use because I didn't book directly. That disappointed me.
Was initially told at check-in that the Queen non-smoking room I booked via Booking.com was not available. I was offerred 2 doubles. I was told that there is a lag between the time you book via Booking.com & the time the hotel receives the booking...& sometimes the room requested is not available. They did eventually give me an upgraded room with Queen bed.
I had a problem with the wireless internet connection and the staff(Jason) went out of his way to help me
it was close to where we needed to be. Convenient to downtown The rooms need to be soundproofed. You could hear every door open, close and conversations of people late into the night. The back entrance smelled badly of smoke and perhaps could use a new ventillation system.
