The entire place was really comfortable, clean, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The beds and pillows are firm and were comfortable for us. The breakfast, both hot (made to order) and cold, were very tasty. The entire place was really clean and well maintained. The location is great too; walkable from Lime Street Station, near enough to two different areas of bars and restaurants, and walkable to the cathedral and waterfront too.
Being that this is an older building, you get actual keys instead of a key card. This made it awkward to have keys on us but was manageable. We would've preferred to have a key card but that's ok. But being that this was our only qualm, that says a lot about the hotel.
it's a traditional english inn but surprisingly it is very very clean and comfy eventhough the room is a bit small and cramped. the toilet looks quite new and clean. the breakfast is very nice.
The location was perfect for the occassion which was to see art in the Liverpool Biennial and to visit tourist attractions such as the museums at Albert Dock. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming and the included breakfast was generous.
The checkout time of 10.30 am seemed a bit tight, though they were good about us leaving our bags.
friendly staff, great location,character
shower room excellent. Breakfast food, cutlery and service excellent.
Double bed uncomfortable and small.
