Pros: The tub is amazing. The place is charming, quaintly decorated. The view is hard to beat.
Cons: The bed was too tall and uncomfortable.
Pros: Rooms were nice and clean, every breakfast was delicious
Pros: Really nice location. The interior of the facility is very nicely decorated and has a charming living room with comfortable furniture. Our room was large, quiet, and had a comfy bed with our own private covered deck with a spa tub. We had a great view of the sunrise from the deck. Breakfast was good and served at a shared dining table in typical B&B fashion. We did not meet the proprietors, but they left notes for each guest with very friendly and clear instructions.
Cons: We were very pleased with our stay and look forward to a return visit.
Cons: No one present to assist us. They are involved with the hotel across the street and essentially ignore you at the BnB. They do not serve breakfast except for 8 and 8:30 AM and seem unwilling to accommodate guests who wish to leave earlier. Upstairs bathroom across the hall and warm.
Pros: We loved the location of the inn! It's an easy 15 minute drive to the Capitol Reef National Park Visitor's Center and there are a handful of restaurants in Torrey to choose from. Having the A/C window unit in the room was essential in the July heat. The breakfast was delicious both days and hearty enough to fill us up before a day of hiking. We stayed in the Juniper room. The private balcony was wonderful! It's far enough outside of Torrey that it is very quiet and you are looking towards the national park. The views can't be beat! Overall, I would definitely recommend staying SkyRidge Inn. It's exactly what my husband and I were looking for when visiting Capitol Reef National Park.
Cons: It cooled off a lot at night and we would have loved to sleep with the windows open, but there were bugs that were small enough to fit through the screen that would swarm the lamps when we had the windows open at night. The few interactions we had with staff were good, but being a Bed and Breakfast, we would've expected to have a little bit more interaction (only saw someone around during breakfast).
Pros: Beautiful bed and breakfast with insurmountable views. Built in the 1990's it has comfortable accomodations for couples or families. Stayed in Juniper room with my Husband and two kids. The view was on the back of the property overlooking Capitol Reef. Personal small balcony and private hot tub enhances the experience. Bedding comfortable. Room spacious. Bathroom somewhat dated but very clean. Greeted on arrival and felt quite welcome. Morning breakfast was fantastic-Croissants with fresh ham and egg sunny side up. Perfect protein punch to a hiking filled day!
Cons: Room was a bit warm and the window based air conditioner was BARELY adequate. Seemed that it wasn't running efficiently in that we had it on the moment we arrived until we checked out and the temperature was maybe 74 degrees.
Pros: Large room with desk, chairs, and an extra twin bed. We had our own entrance and key. It was decorated nicely and very comfortable. Clean and well maintained. Fast internet. Tasty breakfast.
Cons: No Kleenex in the room.
Pros: Breakfast was great. Room was too cozy. Perhaps less furniture would make it roomier.
Cons: Bathroom fan wouldn't turn off
Pros: One of the best hotel in my life. Wonderful experience.
Pros: Bed was comfortable. View was nice. Only staff we saw was someone who brought us bed pillows that were missing for the room, and the staff in the morning who made breakfast and checked us out. They were all nice.
Cons: The room I booked was not available even though it was confirmed. They put us in a different room and gave us a discount. Wish they had called or emailed about that. Inn was sweltering hot. Air conditioner in the room barely kept it cool, and then the power went out. I would have loved to use the lounge area but it was too hot to be in it. I guess I expected more, and I had booked this Inn as a special treat after a week on the road.
When you stay at Broken Spur Inn & Steakhouse in Torrey, you'll be in a national park and 11 minutes by car from Chimney Rock Loop. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great location. Facilities were exceptionally Clean. Great food at their restaurant and the staff was friendly. Awesome place!
Cons: Hot tub was to warm.
Pros: Nice mom & pop place Clean
Pros: Very scenic and was easy to find. Clean and comfortable.
Cons: A little pricey
Pros: Quaint and western like decor. Easy access from highway. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Laundry facilities close to the room. View was great overlooking more rocks and mountains. Parking close to room
Cons: Breakfast was included. Best to arrive early as the food quality goes down after an hour. Long wait for dinner seating in evening.
Pros: Good restaurant right on site.
Pros: Room nicely decorated, nice views but basically motel style.
Cons: Restaurant food disappointing for a steak house. Ordered steak medium rare, was medium well, not flavorful. Didn't send back because waitress took 20 minutes to come back and see how our meal was and I was hungry and fed up by that point after long travel day. Would have considered Adequate for a Golden Coral but not a $30 steak!
Pros: It has got its own style and this is charming!
Cons: AC was not very good... but it was cool in the night othwerwise, too
Pros: What we REALLY loved was staying in one of the covered wagons. My husband was skeptical, but it ended up being our favorite night on our vacation. It was SO cool! There is heat and air conditioning in case you are wondering. The night we stayed it got down to 38 degrees and the air was a bit chilly even with the heater, but the bed was so cozy and warm. We slept great!
Cons: I thought it was a bit expensive, but you are paying for a great location just outside the park.
Pros: Conestoga Wagon was a fantastic experience for all 4 members of our family. The extra-large bed was very comfy, bunk beds absolutely ok for kids, night sleep was fine even with some serious wind gusts in the middle of the night. Restroom and shower facilities are outside the wagon in a separate building, clean and cozy. Ant the restaurant was fine with good steaks and service.
Cons: Nothing at all.
Pros: The salmon was wonderful!
Cons: We had to stay upstairs, and we’re OLD! It was tough getting luggage up there!!
Pros: Best, most restful place. Best breakfast in Utah at the Broken Spur.
Cons: No negative thoughts.
Pros: The hot breakfast buffet is in the dining room of the attached steakhouse that helps give the site its name. It was *wonderful!* We also ate in the steakhouse for dinner the night that we stayed, and it might have been the best meal of our week-long trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we even loved the quaint in-house gift shop.
Cons: No one had turned the lights on inside of the swimming pool building, which is separate from the rest of the facilities. We had to spend some time looking around with our iPhone flashlights, finally finding the breaker box in the utility room. This was partially on us, as I'm sure the staff would have responded quickly had we simply gone to the desk and asked. Overall, this was very small potatoes, as issues go.
Located in Torrey, Capitol Reef Resort is in the mountains, within a 15-minute drive of Capitol Reef National Park and Goosenecks Overlook. Featured amenities include a computer station, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location is perfect in capital reef with beautiful views and nice rooms
Pros: Staff and fact
Cons: Nothing. It was perfect
Pros: Comfy bed Great views Nice pool Handy for seeing the NP
Cons: Food in area very mixed and some quite poor
Pros: Very beautiful place
Pros: Great location to experience capital reef Clean rooms and comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent with Enough variety. The layout of the buildings was great so you didn’t feel people were on top of each other.
Cons: The only criticism was breakfast was just Ok.
Pros: Nice pool area. Good location for Capitol Reef.
Cons: Very expensive, no breakfast included. Initial room offered was looking into car park with absolutely no view.
Pros: Good location and an interesting property in terms of types of accommodations. They include traditional rooms, as well as tepees, Conestoga wagons, etc. Rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Dinner was good. About 4 miles from the town of Torrey itself, where additional grocery and restaurant options can be found.
Pros: Location, cleanliness and comfort. Although you had to pay for breakfast, it was very good
Pros: Great location, clean well appointed rooms and nice staff. The view was incredible. It backed up to the reef and you really felt as though you were already in the park. Next time I want to stay in a teepee.
Cons: Steps outside leading down to room. At night they were not really well lit. They didn't mention it when booking room. The parking on the same level of the room was rather far. When you turned the AC/Heat to the off position it still blew cold air. I just unplugged it.
Pros: The quality of my room far surpassed my expectations.
Pros: Large well equipped bedroom, comfortable beds and an excellent gym. Easy parking.
Cons: Bathroom too small
Pros: the view.
Cons: stairwell to our room in need of repair. handle to a couple of drawers in our room- broken.
When you stay at Red Sands Hotel in Torrey, you'll be on the boardwalk and 11 minutes by car from Chimney Rock Loop. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Good breakfast
Pros: the hotel was good
Cons: no breakfast included
Pros: Brand new hotel. Beautiful views close to Capital Reef Park.
Cons: Restaraunt food was good but very under staffed. Felt very sorry for the gentleman server as he was doing 3 Jobs at once. They hopefully will get more Staff to help him. I noticed he worked the late shift then was working the morning shift for breakfast not by choice but due to no staff
Pros: Refurbishing going on which is good. Nice pool, little small rooms.
Cons: Bathroom needs refurbishing urgently
Pros: Clean, spacious hotel room in quiet setting. Good WiFi, nice common seating area with morning coffee.
Pros: Really cute, modern design, cozy views from the pool, deck, lounge. Nice view from the pool. Coffee and tea available in the lobby
Cons: Rooms are a bit outdated. Some hotel staff seemed very overwhelmed with simple requests and made us feel like we were a bother (like towels ran out in the pool, cups ran out in the lobby). Breakfast is not included in the rate. Simple toiletries like toothpaste is something you have to buy as well.
Pros: Only hotel in Torrey , UT near Capital Reef Nat Park with new inside modern rooms----indoor pool, spa , fitness room, yoga room available----Capital Reef Cafe nearby had great breakfast and dinner only
Pros: Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Our TV was not working and they immediately moved up to another room (an upgrade). Amenities were nice and walk-in shower was nice. The staff really worked to get us moved as quickly as possible. Staff was great. Food was good at onsite restaurant.
Cons: The room they moved us too was great, except we had reserved a room with a couch and the upgrade had two queen beds and no couch. We prefer having a couch because it is more comfortable for sitting and relaxing. Upgraded sink in the newer bathroom took up so much room there was no room on the vanity itself.
Pros: Clean big room. Outside terrace on the ground Floor
Cons: Staff in the restaurant didn’t know what he was doing at all. We had breakfast and dinner there. The waiter didn’t know the menu at all, when we had questions he answered ‘I think so’, he forgot our requests, he charged too much for our wine,... I would advice to look for someone more professional.
Pros: Very updated, clean and comfortable!
Pros: View from the pool and patio.
Pros: Once hot tub to relax after a long day of hiking
Cons: Elevator Broken TV Broken Breakfast gone at 7am

Pros: Comfortable bed!
Cons: Soap was too small and took a while to get suds.
Pros: Homey, well appointed, immaculate and minutes from Capitol Reef entrance. Aram, is very friendly, works non stop in hotel and EXCELLENT Mexican restaurant on property.
Cons: It was perfect.
Pros: Good location, clean, quiet, comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast could have been better. There was no hot food, fruit overripe, coffee too strong.
Pros: Great location, clean, easy check-in and check-out.
Pros: The location to Capitol Reef is stellar! The staff was very friendly. Good continental breakfast. Room was clean and well appointed. Extremely convenient to gas station and mini market.
Cons: Can’t think of anything.
Cons: Wifi was not working most of the time.
Pros: Very clean and nice. Staff was friendly.
Cons: No elevator, stairs , as rooms open to the outdoors. Overall hotel was great.
Pros: Good location. Nice views. Large modern room. Restaurant and garage on-site. Quiet.
Pros: The view was great.
Cons: Breakfast selection was weak.
Pros: Close to Capital Reef National Park.
Cons: Breakfast was really limited.
Pros: Location and views
Cons: Morning staff didn’t even look up when we checked out.
Pros: Fantastic location to be near the park and see sunset and sunrise! did some great hiking in the area and driving to the ends of the I paved roads offered great views. The hotel is set up so that each room has a beautiful view of the reef.
Cons: Restaurants in the area were not great. I would not recommend the pizza place!!!!
When you stay at Motel Torrey in Torrey, you'll be 13 minutes by car from Chimney Rock Loop. Featured amenities include express check-in and express check-out. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Check in was super easy. He motel is EXCEPTIONALLY clean and well maintained. To owner/host, Stuart, is very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Because we are on motorcycles, a paved parking lot is always preferred. This motel has a gravel parking lot. No big deal, just preference.
Pros: Comfortable bed
Cons: Only toast for breakfast.
Pros: The cleanliness
Cons: No table or chairs
Pros: Personal and friendly. Very dog friendly too.
Cons: More breakfast selection
Pros: Friendly reception, helpful with directions and easy to reach even outside business hours. Great location 10 miles to the National Park. Torrey is a dark sky community, so a great night sky awaits weather permitting. Free breakfast was offered, but we did not feel like it.
Pros: Very clean, spacious room. I slept well. The remote check-in was a surprise but worked well.
Cons: I wish they had a mini-refrigerator and hot water pot in the room. Softer sheets would be nice too.
Pros: The place was extremely clean. That was the best thing about it.
Cons: When we checked in we were charged $15 more for having 2 guests. Why would I have wanted a room with 2 queen beds for one person? We don't consider "Continental" breakfast a piece of toast. No fridge or microwave in the room. Toilets are so small, they must have been made for pixies. No staff on location at night in case of an emergency.
Pros: No frills motel. Clean and comfortable. No fridge in the room, but had one next to the office we could store in. Owner very friendly and gave us a great recommendation for dinner. Would definitely stay there again.
Cons: No fridge in room, but they did have one next to the ice machine to use.
Pros: Spacious room. Fantastic view out the window of beautiful mountains. Great restaurants right across the street. Very clean. The manager/owner very helpful and professional.
Cons: Not applicable

Pros: Clean, spacious, friendly staff, close to Capitol Reef NP, well maintained property. Convenient market/general store on property
Pros: Wonderful, friendly and very kind service !!!!
Cons: Walls are a bit thin.... you can hear the other visitors flushing their toilet, using their showers .... even at 2 pm at night .
Pros: It was exactly what we wanted, where we wanted and when we wanted. Couldn’t ask for better
Cons: Was hoping that Chuck wagon was/had a restaurant.
Pros: Great place to say and the breakfast/lunch in the Deli was fantastic.
With a stay at The Rim Rock Inn in Torrey, you'll be on a lake, within a 15-minute drive of Capitol Reef National Park and Chimney Rock Loop. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great location; closest lodging to Capitol Reef. Lovely restaurant and also casual Patio restaurant.
Cons: Continental breakfast could be better.
Pros: The food at the cafe down the hill was terrific, although served on paper plates (!) The hotel rooms are very old, but clean. Good enough if you get a low rate on the room :)
Pros: The view from the balcony and the proximity to Capitol Reef. The shower water pressure was great. Walking around the nearby area we discovered teepees and wagons where tourists passing through can spend the night. A novel idea especially for foreigners.
Cons: No refrigerator in the room.
Pros: Great restaurant. Close to park.
Pros: Spectacular location on a ridge, just outside Capitol Reef National Park. On site restaurant with views & wonderful menu.
Cons: One of our favorite places to stay. There's nothing we don't like.
Pros: Homey and comfortable. The views were great and the people were friendly.
Cons: No issues.
Pros: Great location to park entrance
Cons: No laundry available Had to to go to hotel acrosss the street to do laundry
Pros: The location is unbeatable...Friendly Staff....Super service
Pros: The view from the restaurant is extraordinary!
Pros: The on site restaurant was excellent. The motel room was old, dated but comfortable.
Cons: The location was away from any conveniences.
Pros: Everything. Rooms clean and maintained. Not a new hotel but kept up. Restaurant was fab!
Cons: Liked it all!
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet
Cons: Everything else: no fridge, microwave, iron, hair dryer, coffee maker, microwave. Bathroom floor needed replacing and TV was tiny.

Pros: Perfect place as a gateway for Capitol Reef National Park
Pros: Perfect family owned hotel quit and very spacious and clean rooms... very friendly staff
Pros: Swimming pool
Pros: Comfortable bed and pillows. Good room size.
Cons: Bath towels were thin and small.
Pros: The staff person was personable and quick to laugh. the room had a small window to open. The space worked fine for us though we did not get around to using the pool.
Pros: Location, spacious room
Cons: Dirty air conditioner, dated room
Pros: The family atmosphere, location and pool
Pros: Arrived very late but the receptionist was still waiting for us or was ready with the reservation envelope.
Pros: The front desk attendant was nice.
Cons: This is a very old motel, very dated. The beds were horrible in our room very sunken inn and uncomfortable. My husband woke up to 20+ what we think are spider bites. The hot tub was out of order. For the price to value... I wound not stay there again. There was not any open restaurants or anything open on a Sunday morning for breakfast.
Pros: Rooms are very large for 2 or 4. The pool could be a good option even if didn't use it. Price is fair
Cons: One of our room was spread by cold cigaret smells, even if the room was given for a non smoking one.
Pros: Roomy, clean, lots of hot water! We parked at the front door of our room. Nice and quiet.
Pros: Clean and well appointed. We got checked in very quickly. If a view is important to you, be sure to ask because a couple rooms have absolutely no view. Didn’t matter to us but it might to you. Microwave, mini fridge, Kleenex dispenser, and an actual listing of what channels are on the TV!!!!!
Cons: It’s at least a 10 minute drive to most of the restaurants. They’re all in the next town.
You'll be centrally located in Loa with a stay at The Snuggle Inn, and 4 minutes by foot from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Featured amenities include a computer station, express check-in, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was large and clean. Would stay here again.
Cons: The only negative we had was that there is no thermostat in the room to control the temperature. We like a colder room, but there was no way to achieve that. There was a ceiling fan that we used, but having an AC unit would've been nice.
Pros: The location for us was perfect, in the centre of town, and easy walking to the restaurant`s No breakfast option.
Cons: Nothing, every thing was excellent.
Cons: Only had a clg light fan no a/c or heat.
Pros: The room was clean and nice. Front desk was very nice
Cons: Had to go to front desk in jamas with wet hair to get a blow dryer for my hair. Advertised having a restaurant and it is closed.
Pros: Pretty, but not practical.
Cons: No place for luggage. Only 1 worn out chair for sitting. Restaurant not open. Could not adjust heat. 2 windows looked directly into ours from 8 away. Problems with tiolet, tv and fridge. Avoid if possible.
Cons: The room [4D] was very clean and spacious, quite comfortable. The only problem was some a loud machine, perhaps a water pump, that would randomly turn on for a few minutes every 20-30 minutes. It sounded like it was just on the other side of the room's wall. It repeatedly woke me up until I put a second pillow over my head. Hopefully this is a temporary problem that has been fixed- but I recommend asking!
Pros: Good location for Capitol Reef N.P. visit at a decent price. Room was clean; microwave and refrigerator nice addition, as only one restaurant in town and it was closed on Sunday.
Cons: We booked room on first floor room because of my husband's bad knee and the view. Deadbolt didn't work, so took a room on the 2nd floor with no view and the stairs were difficult to navigate. Café at the hotel was not open the entire time we were there (three nights). No Kleenex in room; hand soap was 1/8" of watered-downed soft soap.
Cons: The fact of me having a reservation, the person working and giving my room away because we were late to check in, when I have a 3 month old with me. And never bothered to call to make sure I was coming or not! Ignorant. Plus had a sign on desk stating room available when I asked about it he told me no. I had to sleep in my car with my infant and disabled mother. Very UNPLEASANT night. And small towns like that aren't open 24hrs. They open at roughly around 7am.
Cons: When we arrived there was nobody at the hotel. When I say nobody I really mean it, the entire hotel was empty, no human being around, not even at the reception. No one. There was a piece of paper with our room nr and the key was in the door. Never seen in my life
Cons: Small room, only one very warn out chair. Read the details before booking, I should have noticed that there was no A/C and 20% tax which included an $8.50 booking fee built into the taxes. No other hotel in Utah did that.
Pros: It was very clean.
Cons: A chair to sit on would have been nice. The mattress needs to be replaced
Located 20.6 km from Capitol Reef National Park, this motel offers guest rooms with free WiFi. It features an on-site restaurant that servers original homemade pies. A cable TV and a private bathroom with free toiletries are provided in each guest room at Sunglow Motel and Restaurant. Mountain views are featured from each room. Serving home-cooked meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Torrey Restaurant is located at Motel Sunglow. Guests can enjoy pickle and Pinto Bean Pie for a unique dessert treat at this restaurant. Loa, Utah is 13.6 km away from this motel. Thousand Lake Mountain is 48 km away, and Escalante National Monument is 120 km away. The property offers free guest parking.
Pros: The bed was firm
Cons: Musky smell in the room and the toilet ran all night. You could hear the people next door taking their shower, the bathroom didn’t looked clean. They didn’t provide blankets. It has the flat sheet and the top of the bedspread
Pros: The food in the restaurant was good, but only the food. The place itself is falling apart.
Cons: Apparently the owners or operators changed a couple of months ago. Looking at Google reviews the average in the last couple of months is around 2/5, and we agree. The rooms were filthy, we asked for another, but that one was even worse. Hair and blood on the pillowcase, makeup on the towels, everything is covered in dust, the floor hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks, the fridge smelled horrid, there were dead spiders in the tub. Finally we got a refund and went to Torrey for a bit more money. One of the operating girls (the one cooking in the restaurant) seemed to care and apologised, the other got very defensive. Unless they get their act together, spend the extra 50 dollars in another place in the area.
Pros: close to apital reef National Park
Cons: Food overcooked. Bed very old and sagged. Terrible night's sleep
Pros: The location and price
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Room wasn’t well cleaned
Pros: Car parked close to room. Can leave faster. Room had good hot water and reasonable bed. For price, got what you paid for
Cons: The food was the worse meal we have had on our trip. A total joke. One waitress. One cook. Ordered pork chops and NY steak that came out so over cooked. Asked how we wanted steak. Medium. Got dried out, nothing tender, beef. Should rent restaurant out to professionals. Arrived had no towels. Replaced quickly.
Pros: Comfortable and clean. Good restaurant attached.
Cons: No place to hang up clothes or towels.
Pros: Staff is good.
Cons: No fridge, TV is very old one,and not very clean place.
Cons: Need coffee in room
Pros: Good location.
Cons: Not enough towels for the stated number in our party. There were holes in 2 of them.
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Other than 1 small bar of soap, there weren’t any amenities in the room. We asked at the office and were told they were on a tray in the room. No such tray. No extra toilet paper. Lots of hair in the bathtub and on the floor. We were expected to sit at our table that was next to the bathroom and under the clothes rack. Wifi very slow and spotty. We were told that coffee was free from the restaurant but weren’t told that the restaurant was closed the next morning. They did top up our towels but did not make the beds. The motel has potential but until there is some sort of pride involved in running the motel, I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it.

The area is known for Hiking trails, numerous lakes, great fishing, and spectacular views filled with blue sky and red canyon country reaching beyond the Colorado River. The Pool Will Be Closed From January 28th Thru February 3rd.
Cons: Air conditioner was marginal at best.
Pros: The upgraded beds are great. The coffee is good. The breakfast is just basic continental grab and go style. Pretty good
Cons: The regular rate rooms beds are very uncomfortable. We purchased two rooms. The upgraded ones were great.
Pros: Room was clean and well maintained
Cons: The entire staff struggled with english, which made it difficult to get questions answered
Pros: Room was clean and nice size. Quiet and comfortable beds.
Cons: Unfriendly front desk personal. Same male at desk entire stay. At sign in-sign on counter said 'Hot tub out of order.' 2nd and last evening there..got in from a long hiking day. Ice machine not working. No sound at all. Used it the night before so was familiar with how it worked. No one at desk. Couple sitting in lobby said..'Good luck in finding him.' Took shower and wanted to use hair dryer ..broken. Understood exactly how it worked as they are the same setup in most hotels. Tried 3 times. Internet went out for over an hour while using. NOT due to storm that day as it had passed hours before. Internet for web and streaming stopped midstream saying No Internet. Called front desk..no answer, left message. No Internet...no Ice...no hairdryer...no help! Glad I didn't want to use the hot tub! What a boring evening! Called later, again no answer. Gave up and called it a night. Will not stay at this location again due to so many problems and also slow/unresponsiveness from front desk.
Pros: The location was the only thing about this property that was great.
Cons: The pool was ice cold, the hot tub was cold, the beds uncomfortable, most of the pillows were flat, our AC didn't work and when we called the front desk the manager came up, wiggled the knobs, said, "See it's blowing cool now." and left! It never got colder and when we opened the window a little bit for fresh air, there was no screen on it to keep bugs out. We couldn't get another room as they were sold out (and so was every other hotel!) After a terrible night, we were hoping that at least the breakfast was decent. Nope, all carbs, nothing warm, just cold cereal, etc. Worst place we've stayed at for years. I will probably never go back there and most likely never recommend this hotel!
Pros: The breakfast was amazing and just what we needed before we hit the road early!
Pros: Close to capital reef national park
Cons: Breakfast was very lame. Lots of bread options. No fresh food options.
Pros: Included breakfast. Location close to a petrol station, a market and fast food for efficient fueling of car and body at any time. Perfect location for visiting both capitol reef and Bryce canyon (lovely panoramic road through Escalante). Totally recommended
Cons: I would have really like to find time to relax in the pool. I guess I cannot really pretend to have access during nighttime, my bad.
Pros: Breakfast was mediocre. Room was clean, spacious and convenient to main desk. Shower was good. Manager took my ice packs for my cooler and kept them in the hotel's main freezer as the tiny refrigerator had no means to keep them frozen (so I thought!)
Cons: Two things: 1) the little room refrigerator acted as a freezer. It froze everything I put into it--milk, yogurt, cheese, salsa, avocados, berries, salad fixings (my dinner). There were no controls to adjust the temperature. It cost me a lot in damaged food & convenience. 2) I asked for a first floor room away from street noise. I did get that but the room I got had an air conditioning unit right outside my window. I never used any climate control, closed the windows, but the noise and the low frequency vibration from the unit disrupted my sleep for the two nights I stayed there.
Pros: very minimal
Cons: more fruit waffles scrambled eggs
Pros: We were very pleased with our room and comfort of the bed.
Cons: The “free breakfast” was disappointing though. We had to eat breakfast elsewhere because it was a grab and go and extremely limited.
Pros: Continental breakfast was horrible. There were no eggs nothing warm to eat. Only drank orange juice. No elevator, had to carry luggage upstairs. AC unit rattled all night. Was not anywhere close to being worth $130. Staff is not professional or friendly. Would never consider staying there again or recommend it to anyone.
Cons: See response above.
