Room has AC was comfortable and everything was extremely clean. Our keys didn't work and staff was quick to resolve that problem.
The staff was nice but not very helpful or sympathetic to our needs. My friend was ill and we were assigned a queen bed which was not my initial reservation. The only way for us to have separate beds was to pay 185£ to upgrade. I found that to be absurd. The woman behind the counter said we did book a queen and that double room means queen. She acknowledged that many make that mistake so then why wasn't I called to confirm what I wanted. I think they didn't have that room and gave a queen bed because that's all they had. I've never been anywhere where a double room is a queen bed. Needless to say we were stuck and I'm now sick because I was close to my friend.
You know when you stay at a Marriott you will get a nice room, with comfy bed - the quality is always there.
The supplied toiletries has been cut back - had to go out to buy hair conditioner and body lotion - hadn't taken any as used to it being supplied. Breakfast very expensive.
The facilities are excellent, the location is excellent and the staff are very helpfull.A very plesent stay.
The price quoted by the taxi company used by the hotel for a trip to twickenham was ridiculous. It was significantly more than the longer trip to heathrow.
Comfortable bed and pillows and clean bathroom. Short walk to Earls Court Underground station.
Not really a negative point, but I was surprised that the Marriott shares part of building with another hotel. We were on the first floor, which is part of the Marriot, but the floors above belong to the Premier Inn, where I have stayed too.
The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Everything we needed was available in the room. The breakfast was delicious with a choice of options that wasn't a flat payment for example, if you didn't want a full english breakfast and only wanted a continental breakfast you only paid for a continental breakfast.
The location is pretty close to the tube station "Gloucester Road" and there is a supermarket nearby. V&A Musuem and National History Musuem are within a walking distance.
The location of the hotel.
You need to call many times until an operator answers the phone. Limited t.v. channels. The rooms weren't very clean. Very limited options for room service on late night menu, which was very disappointing for such a hotel.
good location close to tube very friendly staff enjoyed our stay
the telephone in the room was very expensive to use
the space of the room was really big, I dont know if all the rooms are same size or they upgraded me
convenient location for visiting the city
small room. I booked a double for two persons and we stayed cramped in a small room with just one queen bed. Toilette need to be refurbished. internet is not free. breakfast not included and pricy.
The location is perfect.
Breakfast and drinks are expensive and the hottub to hot.
