Pros:A traveler can always tell the difference between a Motel by it's Ownership / Management. This particular Long Beach Motel has great ownership and goes out of their way to accommodate their guest and provide great services. I arrived at this Motel 6 at 10:30 am on a Saturday along with many other young people. For me, I was escaping 118 temperatures in Inland cities and want to spend a night/day near the cooler Ocean temps, while I observed many younger guest arriving ahead of an all day Hip-Hop Concert. Despite a 11:00 check-out (12:00 if you as for late checkout) and a 1:00 pm Check-in service, the ownership was working with all guest to allow an early check-in process and provide room keys with the instruction to arrive back to your assigned rooms after 2:00 pm. This seem to work perfectly with everyone, since the younger kids headed to the Noon start of their Concert and for My and my buddy to head to a local Sport Venue to catch a World Cup Game. The Rooms were very clean and comfortable (as I've experience with all remolded Motel 6's) and despite the mix of Guest clientele (young and older) at night it was quiet to allow for a good night sleep.
Cons:Parking is a little tight, but it's workable. Also, the area of the Hotel is on the fringe of tougher neighborhoods, but the Hotel rooms and parking lot is within an enclosed area so it's safe and well controlled by the ownership / management. I would stay here again without concern.

Cons:sheets wear dirty, towels were stinky, bed was hard as a brick and I woke up in pain, the staff was very dismissive and rude.
