Across from the Grove sat not the greatest of motels/hotels, but it did it's job. There are a couple things they should maybe upgrade, but being across from the Grove for virtually nothing is amazing. This place is a hidden gem
Bathroom should really be updated a bit. The bed was extremely uncomfortable
Will return if I'm in the area again
Location was convenient and the price was good, the room was clean and looked good and the WiFi was fast and easy to log in to.
Parking was sparse but that's just Hollywood. Traffic was noisy at times but didn't disrupt sleep.
I liked the price. That was about it!!
The lady at the front desk was extremely rude! There was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom, thank god I brought my own shampoo and soap! The chairs in the room looked like they were 10 years old. There were numerous stains on them. The bedsheets, maybe 3 years old, and possibly dirtier than the chairs. This place could be great if it was owned by people who took pride in their location, but that is surely not the case here.

mold in shower and on the rubber bath mat the AC worked but the was a high pitched squeal while the ac was on And not just our room it could be heard all over the complex carpt was old and in need of being replaced several burn marks from a cloths iron on the carpt
Dirty bathrooms, super-hot rooms (took hours to make it breathable) and bad parking (the manager had to move the trash cans to make space for us to park one night).
location. free parking.
Rooms were hot. Temperature outside was >100 degrees and the air conditioners had not been turned on for rooms with reservations. There was mold/mildew around the bathtub. We were there for 3 days & only given 2 towels. When asked for a couple more we were told there were no more.
lack of information and freindlyness
Floors dirty, walls had torn wallpaper, hair dryer didn't work-in general a fairly dreary place although the staff was pleasant. Not worth the low price. Only thing I really liked was the location.
Pretty run down and dirty.
It was ok. Convenient to many amendities.
needs to be updated rust everywhere in bathrooms
The carpet should be cleaner
The water pipes woke us up every time someone switched on their taps above us. there were no plugs available for the basin. The site said there was breakfast however there were only snacks - the site should read that there is only a breakfast snack and coffee.
All staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in what seemed to be a pleasant part of town and was very convenient for us to get to the La Brea Tar Pits and the Museum, the purpose of our stay. It would also be convenient for anybody looking for a conveneint place to stay for a more thorough visit to LA as it is on the Touristbus Route. We will stay there again if in LA! It is not too far from the airport either (about a $40 ride by Taxi).
From about 05.30 several loud female voices (Hispanic and Italian) started a cheerful but loud chatter in the hotel courtyard, waking us and keeping us awake. This was a bit annoying as we were very tired. The other point is not so something we did not like, but it would have been nice to be able to get a cup of coffee on arrival (we arrived around 10PM from the airport). But then we are spoilt in Australia where every motel and every hotel has tea & coffee making facilities for its guests.
good location, although this city is better seen by car, the bus ran right by the hotel.
