That was the motel not have a Hotel??!!
Nothing I spend my money and that night I am not sleeping in till the morning because it was a dirty bed and very sound inside the room .
Great location. Nice pool. Cool mid-century design in rooms. Friendly hotel staff.
AC in room didn’t work. Although, I did get a credit off my bill for this.
Awesome Location, Kitschy Interiors
The location was fantastic -- right on Beverly Blvd minutes away from lots of awesome bars and restaurants. The room we stayed in looked like a relic of the 1960s -- circular bed, patterned curtains and all. It was awesome. Staff was really friendly.
It's not a place to hang out, no room service or plush amneties. WiFi was stupid slow, couldn't even use it. Also, they slapped us with a $22/night parking fee that wasn't mentioned anywhere during the booking process so that kinda sucked.
Decor, access to swingers, location! Staff were great! Nice pool, free parking!
Fabulous hotel, location and staff
Very clean, quiet, and friendly staff. Love the Swingers diner attached where you can get breakfast/lunch/dinner anytime. This hotel was convenient to everything we wanted to see in Hollywood/Beverly Hills. We walked to the Star Line hop on-hop off bus tour and were able to go everywhere we wanted. I highly recommend this hotel!
Enjoyed my stay in a well designed and highly stylized room. It was comfortable and had every amenity I needed.
Location is good, but condition is bad.
Bathroom has no mirror; bed is dirty, I have to wear my cloth while sleeping; floor worn out, smell bad.
Beverly Laurel is my go to place whenever I'm in LA. The rooms are clean and spacious. The customer service is exceptional, and the staff is more than accomodating! There's a restaurant named Singers 5 feet from the hotel. The food is delish, and I've spotted a celebrity or two whIle eating there. Definitely the hotel to book if you're looking for style and great location.
The rooms had potential
They are doing full on construction & demo while still renting rooms. Loud demo started at 7am & continued throughout the day. All day! Super noisey I'm surprised they are allowed to book rooms! Awful the manager gave us a discount
Really liked the idea of the hotel, but really under construction. The room was clean, but very minimalist. Staff were helpful. The location was great, though.
Very noisy. Construction workers moving around right outside our door. And temporary access entrance door was open all the time, so it felt a little unsafe.
Location Location Location!!!! Right where you need to be!
I stay here every time I'm in LA .. The room I had this time wasnt as new/renovated like the other rooms I've stayed in previously. I was a little disappointed but still enjoyed my stay non the less and will definitely return.
classic 50's/60's style
noisy, hear people talking in the hallway
This is a well-located hotel, with good value for money. Our family of four stayed in a single room which had two beds, a huge shower and was quite clean. Bathroom has a separate W/C so more than one person could be in there. TV set up offers bluetooth/VGA/HDMI connectivity, so bring a cable.
There are no decent toiletries provided, just soap and a combo shampoo/conditioner. We expected this, so it was fine. Room was very bright, so had to use shades and close bathroom door. We also had foam pillows, which are a little hard.
Hotel staff are great people. The Swingers
Cleanliness of bathroom could be improved.
Walking distance to 3rd St with a lot of restaurants and shops. Also a 10 min walk to the Grove.
It can get very noisy, particularly on weekends when partiers are arriving at 3am and are loud and obnoxious. The management doesn't seem to do anything about the noise.
The only thing I liked was the location. It is near everything.
The room was really dirty and with no manteinance at all. We were awake by the hotel staff at 8 am to see if the could clean the room! 8 am!!! incredible. During our trip to USA we stayed in 3 hotels and this one was the most expensive, ugly and dirty.
It being so centrally located.
I have stayed there many times before and the location is very convenient to relatives living in the area. It is always clean, the rooms are well taken care of, and the cost is very reasonable. The people in the office are always very kind, helpful, and friendly. When I return to LA in the future, I will most likely stay there again.
the hotel is very good,it is cllean, nice area, good restaurarnts aroud.
The service and location of this hotel I found to be excellent. Roberto at the front desk was uber helpful and continually generous with his time and assistance. The cleaner, Sylvia was equally welcoming and brilliant... Both allowing me to check in and out an hour in my favour due to early arrival of flight and looked after my bags in reception until my flight home that was at 6pm while I went to Swingers for lunch. For someone who doesn't drive, I found that, being a Londoner and used to walking everywhere, everywhere I needed to get to was accessible providing I allowed enough time and reception booked me a reliable and prompt taxi when needed. Room was clean and had a hairdryer, microwave and fridge which was helpful. Roberto also helped me use the phonecard I bought which I could use from my hotel room phone and meant I wouldn't be charged any additional phone rates by the hotel.
Only negative thing really was that the first 2 nights were very noisy. Because of the layout of the hotel, noise carries very easily from one side to the other and with disturbed sleeping patterns from jet lag anyway this proved to be quite difficult. Rest of the stay was perfectly fine though. By no means a luxury hotel but more than substantial for a place to kip and get ready for the day. Big comfy bed too.
The construction was so loud I couldn't sleep at all. I was working in the sunrise hours and sunset hours and needed to nap in the middle. It was impossible.
