The location and the value of this hotel were good. It was very quiet. Everyone could find what they wanted to eat at the morning breakfasts. Also, the staff promptly attended to an issue we had with another guest (they were smoking [weed] in this non-smoking hotel). For me personally, the beds were too soft. After a week, my back gave out. Luckily, there was a massage and acupuncture place across the street.
People were very nice and helpful. Great to have complementary water bottles available!
You get a great room for the great rates. We had the King Suite so I was hoping for a better view, but it wasn't that bad. Just a covered pool and fallen leaves.
Location to where we wanted to go. Room cleaning service was spotty and only half of the front desk people we spoke with were very good.
Everyone was very nice, and took good care of me. Nothing
My wife and I slept very well the first night. Easy access to the toll road and to Lafayette. The options for breakfast were very poor, even though you're being charged separate from the room. Being disappointed we walked out at first, but then returned for the most minimal breakfast: bagel plus coffee/tea, with the idea that we'd follow that with a proper breakfast later and elsewhere.
Rooms were comfortable and clean; common areas were very nice; good restaurants and shopping nearby; only 10 minutes to CU Boulder Bistro seemed very slow and understaffed, especially in evening; popular items on breakfast menu were only available until they ran out of what they had prepared ahead, so get there early; mattresses were too hard and pillows too soft
A clean room with a comfortable bed in a good location.
I liked the premises Even knowing my sister was going to be on the same room later on the same day, staff removed my belongings from the room and evidently they lost my beloved cap. When coming back from work I found out my luggage and things were on a room behind the lobby. I was on a hurry to catch my flight and didn't even bother to mention it to the attendant. Now I'm telling you
Cleaning lady was always able to get my room clean even if I left the hotel late in the morning. Breakfast was quite good. Key always worked. Minimal need for help from staff makes for a good stay. Excessive noise in halls after midnight in halls on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Sounded like a frat party was going on. Did not figure out there were several movie channels in the 500 channel range until a couple of days went by. It would help a lot to get some sort of guide sheet. Mattress felt a bit hard and made it hard to sleep.
Too crowded.. Not enough staff to help monitor the NYE madness. There were people everywhere in the lobby outside in the hallway... I paid Over &200 for a couple to stay ONE night there! And there was no continental breakfast... They charged me $6 for a bagel and cream cheese in the morning....On my floor there was a crowd of people just outside chillin in the hallway with a giant dog all night! The elevators were so crammed after New Years it was pure chaos and there was no staff anywhere!! to monitor the situation and the stair were impossible to find no signs anywhere to locate finally a random man came and helped... He wakes ahead of us as if we were mutants and didn't say much... For working in the hospitality business it justifiably seem right. Later that evening my boyfriend went to get some ice and stumbled upon A crowd of people and a man seriously Ou of control. He saw him beat the shot out of a guy right there in the hotel. There were crazy people runnin around with NO staff support!!!!! I was afraid to leave my room!!. My friends saw him freak out on two people on two occasions through out that night and there was no staff to call the police on him which needed to be done. It was stupid loud and chaotic and yes it wasNYE but this place looked classy and professional on the outside but they had no care to have the staff they needed for such a crazy night.. And not feeding us anything not even juice or Coffee!!!! in the morning for the amount we paid is just stupid. I will never return.
no issues, everyone was happy to help, customer service was great.
Nice staff, Pay for WiFi, no USB charging ports, ice machine broken on my floor and no refrigerator, I had to push the elevator door to get it to close,
It was quiet The pool was out of service.
The facilities, exercise room, pool, etc. and the breakfasts. The hot tub jets didn't work.
Beds very comfortable, The breakfast was good more than adequate. The side door of the building did not lock at all. Would stay again.
The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was large and well appointed. Also, while not in Boulder, it was a relatively quick trip to Boulder The bedroom was noisy. If we did not run the fan all night we were disturbed by what sounded like the constant emptying of huge ice trays... I have no idea what that really was. The breakfast was mediocre. The lounge was hard to enjoy b/c the TVs were constantly on. And the staff didn't know basic things, like whether they had cribs (they did), or how to get there. Lastly, not their fault, but google-maps indicated their address was way off, a mile to the east. And when we called to get instructions, that's when the staff's geographical ignorance came through.
I liked the room setting, the friendly atmosphere and the location, the fact that the hotel did not have service staff in the afternoon
I woke up and saw a bedbug in the folds of the sheets. I was able to kill it and positively identify it as a bedbug before bringing it to the front desk. They switched my room for the last night of my stay, but travelers should be aware of bedbugs in the sporting wing of the hotel.
checking out and checking into the marriott down the street stayed 4 nights; service provided in the room on 1 day; had to repeatedly call front desk for fresh towels; clean cups; it's a party hotel for CU football games; if you're a family, stay away from this hotel.
This place is pretty run down.
Outdated and dingy. Elevator did not work. Staff called the place a "piss-hole".
It was a large comfortable room.
Staff was very friendly and provided excellent customer service. Rooms were very clean and spacious.
when I arrived the front desk was very friendly but towards the last couple of nites...that changed. feeling like I was in the wrong hotel...like can we open the front door and carry your bags for you ?!!!! the change in friendliness from front desk.
Large living areas and separate bedrooms. Too many kids and a little too old.
Very clean, friendly staff, spacious suite, excellent work space (desk). Adequate parking. Good breakfast choices. Our only issue was breakfast. There were good choices offered, but they were not available early enough to meet our needs. We headed out to hike early to beat the crowds. On the weekend breakfast begins at 7. We were able to grab coffee and a banana.
Size of room, kitchen. Friendly employees
great staff ,big clean room
It's one of our favorite places to stay.
Great people happy hour was nice an excellent breakfast. N nice spacious rooms
Room and amenities and bfast. None
Clean, big room. Great breakfast.

Nice, clean, comfy hotel with friendly & helpful staff!!! Absolutely zero complaints!
I had the pleasure of staying at the Flatiron Renaissance hotel from 12/21-12/27. It was conveniently located near my daughters home and with the Kayak deal it was a great value. My room had a spectacular view of the Front Range. The room was beautiful and very clean. The breakfast buffet was wonderful!! The chef makes the best omelettes and is so pleasant. Our waiter was like an old friend by the end of the week. I would definitely stay there again. My only complaint is the cost of internet access is really high. I chose to use my computer at my daughters home but I was fortunate to have an alternative.
Everythingg The service counter looked cheap. & the side exits didn't not work.
Very trendy and modern Construction was occurring during my stay, causing loud banging. When advising the staff, I received an apology but the construction continued. At check out, I advised the front desk and was disregarded.
The location is perfect if you are going to an event at the 1stbank center, otherwise I would not recommend this hotel. Staff is nice. Bed is comfy. Free parking lot is nice. The walls are paper thin, very noisy even though I was on the top floor. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom - you can do the math there. There is no food/room service of any sort.
Aloft is very clean, modern with a friendly staff. The location and amenities were perfect for our trip, including the concert at the nearby venue!
comfortable beds/pillows room very comfortable and roomy clean quiet excellent location "for us" affordable no continental breakfast
Price, bedding, location, size of room and bathroom ( bathroom huge compared to most hotels). The cleaning ladies were really nice and the noise level was okay. The kitchenette was awesome. The hotel was under construction and we weren't made aware before we arrived. The check in desk was at the back of the hotel, which wouldn't have been a problem bit the staff was back there goofing off. The whole check in experience felt like a joke. When checking out, there were different employees and they were more professional. The mattress was old, there were springs broken and it was uncomfortable.
This hotel was in a good location-convenient to highway. Clean room. We just stayed one night. They didn't have change for the laundry.
I thought everything was clean, they always had fresh towels, and they were always polite. I never felt like I was intruding upon them, as they were always warm and welcoming The mattress was VERY hard, almost like sleeping on a wood block. The card keys very easily get erased if you slightly brush it across your cell phone for an instant. I did say the hotel was nice, but it is very dated. Suite-style rooms just barely above motel prices, but like I said the interior, design, the feel is just like you're staying in a museum for suites in the 80's
It was right off the freeway. Relatively clean. Full size fridge and microwave. Comfortable beds. Nice TVs. Clean bathroom. Convenient to restaurants and grocery stores. A decent room to spend a night for a good price. WIFI IS TERRIBLE! It's the same password for everyone in the hotel. Extremely slow to the point where my cell data was faster. There was a hair on my bed sheet and a random bottle of coke laying out when I first got there. The kid at the front desk was nice, but he was all alone at 6 PM checking guests in and answering the phones so it was a long wait.
Under construction during stay, no warnings or anything when hotel was booked. Housekeeping would not come when we put sign out. Even though we were gone all day.
It took us over an hour to get into out already booked room. And it was the dirtiest room I have ever slept in.
WiFi was down.
Breakfast buffet was very good Found used syringe under beds in two rooms :(
Breakfast was decent. Staff was friendly. Location was great. Double bed rooms were very very small. Could hardly walk thru the room. Not kid friendly. No high chairs for breakfast. My son had a allergic reaction to their sheets rash was covering his body. and was crying staff came banging on the door wanting to know why he was not being quiet. House keeping never replaced coffee in the room after it was used. They would take all the towels and never leave any for the next day.
Breakfast was ok Hotel beds were very uncomfortable, we has 3 rooms and stayed 3 night. None of the rooms were cleaned not even one time, even after tagging the rooms with maid service required sign. I myself had to go down the help desk to get toliet paper and towels for all three rooms and delivered them myself to each room. Air conditioning was not working in one of the rooms, front desk was notified but was never serviced or fixed. This was for sure my WORST experience ever. Would not recommend this hotel at all. Staff/manager instead of giving an apology they wanted us my family and the other two families to check out of the hotel.
It was comfortable and clean. Staff was nice and polite. The rooms were cozy and had a large fridge and cabinets that would be good for extended stays. No pool but that's okay. One of the house keepers didn't even knock and tried to enter the room to clean it. She stopped as soon as I said something. There are no do not disturb signs.
Good price, good location, nice and basic rooms. Advertised breakfast, had a breakfast room but neither day we were there did they have breakfast. Sat am the front desk worker was trying to put something together as apparently the breakfast person hadn't shown up. The bothersome thing, though, was that there was even less offered on Sun am. Management should have put something together, even if they had to come in themselves, by that time.
Nice Facilities Inability to get credit for cancellation. I booked two nights and got called back to work early and could not use second night. I was not provided credit for the night not used. Lousy policy, expensive room.
The staff was really friendly, the amenities were perfect. Nice having the kitchenette as an alternative to eating out. It's in close proximity to restaurants & entertainment.
There was an incident at the hotel they hadSWAT team and police officers having to deescalate a situation the front desk staff the next morning was very rude and told us they couldn't do nothing about it because we went through a third party I think they could handle the situation a lot better we could not sleep there was an explosion they were moving people from floor to floor which I understand but the noise was horrible the hallways were loud in the alarm would not stop going off it was totally restless night. When we asked about it in the morning the lady at the front desk said she would like to help us but she couldn't because we went through third-party I thought this was very unprofessional due to the severity of the incident they should have done something to try to make right for it.
Your staff were very friendly and extremely customer oriented. They helped me with a few different things while I was there. And they out me in a very quiet room so I could get my work done.
Very comfortable with nice amenities.
Nice big rooms Mini fridge didn't cool very well and rude guests at the pool
Great place definitely will stay here next time I return!
Best coffee of any free hotel breakfast! Good breakfast variety. Nice evening snack and cocktail hour. Dog friendly hotel, with poop by the front door that the owner did not bother to pick up.
You cannot beat the free happy hour with the appetizers that pretty much acted as our dinner and the three free drinks. We between breakfast and that, we didn't spend any money on food during our stay!
I thought the staff was excellent. They were friendly and cared that I was happy with my stay. Could not have been more pleased.
The lobby and room had a nice sense of openness while not being 'unfriendly' i.e. had a sense of warmth. Prior I thought the property would be very countryish but that wasn't the case. The staff was uniformly friendly and helpful.

The staff was nice & friendly. Hotel was very clean. My husband walked around hotel in white socks which remained white. N/A
The place was very nice and the staff was real friendly and did a great job while I as their. no
Right off of Rt 36, convenient to Boulder, Denver, and DIA. Good continental breakfast. Friendly staff. Walls and floors are more soundproof than average. A quiet and good night's rest. Bigger fridge in room, enough room for beer and food. Insert key cards into lock, got a static electric shock every time. Persons talking on cell phones in the hall and persons smoking to close to the door that their nasty smoke blew back inside.
Location to highway

Loved the elevator! Loved the old music playing! The staff was friendly and attentive. Great valet service. Restaurant was yummy. And the Corner Bar had a nice selection of good beer. Didn't find any fault.
Awesome old building, with good food and drinks. Lotta stuff to see and do with in walking distance. Super nice and helpful staff as well. Little spendy, but a cool place none the less.
Hotel is wonderful, with great character (it's on the National Register of Historic Places). Staff are very friendly and appropriately attentive without being intrusive. They addressed me by name after 2 days. The hotel had a water leak in another room and the room in which I stayed had a musty, damp smell to it as a result.
The view of the flat irons was great. Location was awesome. The hotel was both modern and charming. The furnishings were nice. Second vanity and sink outside the bathroom. We did not drive (because we knew parking would be limited and expensive). Although I would have expected a pool given the price, there was a lot to do in the area. Everything we wanted was within walking distance. We like room service. However, the one breakfast we ordered did not come with any condiments (salt, pepper, butter, jelly). The woman who delivered the food did not make any eye contact (although she was perfectly polite). We did not order room service after that. Also, there is no table on which to share a meal in the king room we had. One person had to sit at the desk on the other side of the TV console, so we could not even see each other while we talked and ate. A little TV tray for the other wing-back chair would have been nice.
The bed was wonderful. We also like the decor and location. Room service was good. Wall paper
Location was excellent; staff was very courteous and professional, surrounding were very historic. Nothing
Loved the turn-of-the-century decor - stained glass ceiling in the lobby, original 1900's caged, operated-by-a-person elevator, fireplace in lobby, original safe behind the front desk etc. Loved the location right in the middle of downtown Boulder with access to shopping, restaurants and the beautiful trail beside Boulder creek. Staff were delightful - as the hotel wasn't full, they upgraded us to a suite, so the 3 of us had both a living room and a bedroom in the historic side of the hotel. Perfect. Enjoyed a perfect dinner in the hotel restaurant. Had to eat breakfast at the airport. There was a coffee pot in the room, but not really a convenient place to grab a quick breakfast. It would be great if there were a coffee shop either in the hotel or next door. Some of the antique furniture in the room really needed to be re-upholstered. But the feeling was very turn-of-the-20th-century.
I enjoyed the ambience of the hotel. The accents in the room were very nice and make staying at this historic hotel very enjoyable.
The hotel could not be better located. The restaurant was reasonably priced, though we just ate there for breakfast. It had the modern amenities with the feel of a historic hotel. The have a small fitness room, but you can work out for free at ONE Fitness which is a two block walk.
This place is awesome - Closest lodging to the Boulder Downtown and more than accommodating. Would recommend for Business or Pleasure stays.
I can still remember my last stay. Staff was not friendly.
Kind and attentive staff
Staying a bit out of town gives a great value for the money. This kind of hotel in downtown area would go for 3 times as much. Rooms do not have tubs (except for accessible rooms, apparently), which is kind of unusual.
The bed was comfortable and the staff was great! There should be refrigerators in the room as well as more places to sit outside with out having to eat or drink in the reaturant. Also, the staff should know more about their surroundings ... Where the parks and great reaturants are. Without a fridge and a place to sit outside.... My family and I won't be staying here again.
Nice clean rooms and bed was comfy. Front desk was helpful and nice. I think the price is a bit high for a hotel that is in a suburban neighborhood between Denver and Boulder. Westminster isn't really a destination i
Great location between Denver and Boulder. My only complaint was a mildew smell in the shower.
Newly built, very well designed room Sectional sofa, have guests without making them sit on a bed. Lots of shared space on the ground floor Proper DirectTV with Program Guide & 10 free premium channels Whole Foods 1/4 mi away Empty mini-fridge Twinings Tea in-room $10/day parking. A couple of quick train passes overnight (earplugs on the nightstand, but I didn't need them).
Friendly staff, very clean rooms, loved the layout of the rooms and how big they were, had a beautiful view of the mountains, comfortable bed, overall very pleased! There really wasn't anything we didn't like, even the parking was reasonable
Friendly staff. Good location in central Boulder. Walls were a little thin.
Great location, easy access to other areas of Colorado. Hiking and biking trails near by. Shopping, eating all within the same area. N/A
Desk too small for working
Morning buffet was excellent. Housekeeping very good. Evening managers special very nice.
Location Price Quality free breakfast
It did have a lot of amenities and included a hot breakfast. Staff at the front desk was nice. It is aging a little and wasn't super clean.,It was aging a little and wasn't super clean.
We had wonderful service from front counter service to calling and asking for extra towels which (Ryan) was so pleased to help! Staff was very friendly and helpful
