After returning to the front desk 3 times because our keycard kept getting deactivated, we were told we had to pack up and move to another room on another floor because they had screwed up and assigned us the wrong room! They didn't offer a discount or apology for the huge inconvenience! There are far too many other hotels in that area for me to bother going back there again.
We did not get the kind of room we reserved. The room was very shabby, missing woodwork and chips out of sinks and tub. There were big cobwebs in the doorways of the hall area. Would not recommend.
We stay in Ludington and go to other areas like traverse city, manistee and Scottsville. This is a nice basic hotel at a reasonable rate.
Nice clean motel room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Easy to find and close to beach, light house and car ferry.
The hotel was not the most convenient as it is outside of town; however, that is why the price is cheaper. The breakfast was definitely convenient and a perk.
The hotel was very clean and for the money I spent I thought it was a good value. The staff was wonderful and showed us popular and their favorite restaurants and even had breakfast set out early for us
We enjoyed a great room with helpful, friendly staff.
Would not recommend this hotel.....cobwebs in bathroom, ceiling tiles falling down in bathroom, beds that are 30+ years old, sheets looked like they had not been changed in months - GROSS
I didn't find any restaurant in this motel. Some one has posted wrong comment about restaurant and bar in this Motel. This is an OK place not as good as I expected.
My husband and I needed a cheap place to stay the night while he was a a business meeting. This hotel was a little outdated, but was in a good location and had fair enough rates for the tourist area in which it is located. The front desk staff was friendly. The room was absolutely one of the smallest ones we've ever stayed in, but big enough for two people to crash for the night. The safe served as the bedside table, there was no chair, the bedside table was actually set up as the stand for the TV at the foot of the bed. The continental breakfast was better than average. If you are looking for a clean enough, convenient and cheaper room in which only to sleep and shower, this hotel is better priced than others in the area. Make sure you get the internet rate!
This hotel is good, but needs a bit of imporvement in the consistency. The little things need work, but tended to get to me. Continental Breakfast - No milk which meant no cereal, also the juice machine was not working. Washer and Dryer were available, but soap was sold out and was not going to be available for 4 more days. When we arrived to our room, there was no toilet paper also.Other than this - Great clean place and we would probably stay here again due to the price.'
Beautiful rooms inclassic 50s/60s style. Double bed rooms are a full and a twin so sleeping four might be trouble unless you're really good friends (wink wink). Don't waste your money at a modern hotel. Go back in time to a place that is meticulously clean and scrumptiously quaint. The neon office sign has that classic hum. You can open windows for air or chill in the quiet AC. Just off the main road, traffic noise is kept to a minimum. Highly recommended. Worth every penny. I didn't like that I may have stayed somewhere else.
Had a mid century look but immaculate exterior and interior. Impressive attention to detail. Simple accommodations that are close to a beautiful lakefront. Would recommend to close friends and would stay here again.
Great location next to the beach, great rooms, great prices, the great Dane at the office
