The shower was hot. The door opened and closed and locked. I was sheltered from the rain Mattress should have been in a dumpster long ago.
Location No microwave or coffee maker....the TV was smaller then my tablet.
location picture fell off wall
It is quite close to downtown Seattle. Housekeeping can be said OK. Wi-fi is available in the third floor. There is no ''reception''; they call it ''front desk'', a contarcted unfriendly service. Outside door lock seems not safe. Heater works with a terrible sound; ''sleep OR get warm'' option. ''Jet'' shower is useless.
Convenient location, competent staff, perfectly adequate room for sleeping, which is mostly what we did there. Plenty of good food choices within an easy walking distance. The room is very funky, maybe it was a suite converted to a 2 bedroom, maybe it was two rooms with a shared bathroom....? It was fine, but weird, and not the ideal layout for our family. The cost is pretty high for the quality of room, but I gather that's just the nature of real estate in that area, and it was more affordable than the fancy-pants places nearby which was nice.
This hotel is in a great location (walking distance to Pike Place Market, Space Needle, and the mall). Very cheap rates compared to nearby hotels, and free parking. It is perfect for travelers on a budget. The room was clean, and the mattress was comfortable enough. Keep your expectations low. There were very few amenities. There was AC and a tiny 17-inch TV. In the standard room with one queen bed, there was no refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, or hair dryer. Facilities were a bit old. Water was not hot, but warm enough for me. Also, the monorail runs along the same street as the hotel, so it may be loud for light sleepers. Except for the lack of hair dryer, these didn't bother me. As a traveler, I only used the room to sleep. My priorities were location and price, so I was very happy with my stay.
The city center and the space needle were within walking distance from the inn. The environment around the inn is dull, no vibe nor lively atmosphere within the accommodation area. The rooms also have no curtains making it difficult for privacy at daytime.
Great location, very clean rooms, and we'll maintained for an older building. Very quaint and good for travelers going sight seeing. Older building with small rooms which are still comfortable. Could use larger televisions and maybe more in suite ammenaties such as coffee.
We ejoyed our stay at The Kings Inn so much that we planto stay again as soon as we can. The Kings Inn is centrelly located for all tha city attractions. For the price, staff and location I recomend Kings Inn to anyony who wants a bit of relaxation to a major event. We have stayed at several places over the years and the Kings Inn tops them all. I wish we could of staied longer.
friendly staff pretty run down. broken dresser, TV remote missing battery cover, no drinking glasses provided. Really small with too much furniture in the room so it was crowded. Overall it just needs to be updated. Pictures on rooms must be older.
It was a room with outlets for phone chargers and a bathroom with a toilet that flushed Owners/workers were nice however The street noise but when your downtown next to the tram what can you expect
It was close to everything. It was recently updated. Seemed to have fresh paint and new carpet. It was old. The elevated train runs right down the middle of the road in front all night. It was very noisy in the alley. No breakfast. The guy working when we checked in was not very friendly. The TV was a 17-19" flat screen mounted on the wall, very hard to watch.
Big room and can stay many people, facilities are very good.
PLENTY of space. Excellent wifi. I was extremely comfortable.
Nice clean rooms, close to the U district for visiting and dorm move-in. easy to check in. ample free parking. not having choice for tea if one does not drink coffee in the morning.
The room was reasonably priced, fairly clean, good beds. The bathroom needs remodel. and the heating system took a long time to kick in.
Location, cost. Loud party next door. Front desk said would take care of it but did not.
The location No access to coffee until 8:00 AM.
Well located for an interesting local neighbourhood and downtown Seattle.
cheap (cant beat the price ) and nice motel. really quiet too, as in there were no parties going on by other guests. only drawback was getting to the hotel because of the divider between the road. some noise from the hwy, but that didnt bother us
We were given a really spacious room including wifi and free coffee and pastries for breakfast. There was heaps of helpful info in reception and lots of parking. Was a litttle noisy but what do you expect when you stay next to the main road.
My room was spotless and very comfortable. The front desk clerk was welcoming and very helpful.
Staff was great.
I needed to arrive late, after the end of check-in time of 11:00 PM, but the desk clerk was not at all bothered when I called to ask if this would be a problem. He was friendly, and told me to take my time. Also, the location was convenient to the U. of Washington, where I was visiting. The plumbing fixtures were old and didn't work well. I probably wouldn't dare bring my wife here. It's a trade-off, though, as I am sure this is one reason the price was reasonable.
The location was close to where I was doing business and was easy to find The cans for cigarette butts along the second story in front of many rooms. The floor was dirty by the head of the bed and the phone outlet was hanging loose. It felt a bit sleazy.
cheap room was smokey, everybody staying there seemed to be smoking right outside of their room. Truly a no-frills experience. Wifi isn't free and didn't work right when paid.
Location and recent update The mattress and noise levels due to the closeness of the I-5 freeway
The stay was amazingly uncomfortable. Desk guy was very rude, and not efficient. It seemed like his only job was to disappoint and aggravate people. We made a reservation through Kayak, which they eventually found (But they hadn't set aside a room for us) So they charged us even MORE money for a smoking room with a fridge that we did not want or need. The location I can only describe as ghetto. There was an arrest being made when we arrived, and from there the location seemed to get seedier and seedier as the night progressed. Our air conditioner did not work, and the room smelled of something awful. I cannot even describe what the smell was. It honestly smelled like something had recently died in the room and they had simply sprayed febreeze to cover it up. The cost, location, lack of clean towels and not working air conditioner made this experience pretty terrible. To top it off, I had to check to make sure that my car wasn't broken into many times during the night as a bunch of people were simply loitering around the area. AVOID UNLESS YOU HAVE NO ALTERNATIVE.
The staff was very friendly and courteous. The room was clean. Denny's on the same lot, so a short walk to a meal. Bad area, but we stayed there for the cheap price, so you can't expect much. The room was clean, but very bare-bones, no art or decor. No shampoo or conditioner in the room, and no late checkout available.
It was Spartan, but okay No shampoo or lotion, few Rowland and broken doorknob
Room was clean. TV was nice. Bathroom was OK. I paid extra to have a fridge and microwave and my room did not have those items. Because of that, they gave me Internet for free so the money equaled out.
Room was clean and in good condition. Price was very good for the area, albeit very high for a Motel 6. I like the discount at Denny's.... Wi-Fi should have been included (at a price of $2.99/day). Also, it required a pre-paid card and would not accept debit/credit card. Inconvenient.
The motel is very noisy. Not only one can clearly hear the surrounding freeways, but also, due to poor insulation between rooms, tv and conversations from neighbors, not to mention heels on the upper floor. Suggestion: in addition to soap, provide shampoo.
Sheets weren't very clean. Lots of specks of dirt. Don't think they were cleaned after the last guest. Towels had lots of dark hair stuck in it.
courtesy of staff; welcoming of guide dog; room easily navigatable/clean. Yes, the coffee was NOT GOOD.
It is a good location for Light Rail. Nothuing
Convenient and very friendly staff, a bit overwhelmed by demand on a weekend. It's a Motel 6 - clean enough to stay in comfortably, quiet enough to work for a night's rest.
Quiet stay. I had no disturbances. Front desk is staffed overnight, but I guess that's normal. I arrived after midnight and was in my room after just a few minutes at the counter. Continental breakfast. Great price! While I was eating breakfast, a staff member (the owner?) yelled at a woman for coming back in and getting another apple for breakfast. Apparently, she had already eaten and the owner didn't like her coming back... Give me a break, it's an apple and Washington is full of them. I would stay here again though. It beats paying Seattle prices and isn't too far away.
The room was small but that's okay. It had two full size beds. The beds were comfortable, sheets were clean and new, the interior seemed like they're trying to keep up with keeping it modern and new. They shower/bathroom was super clean. Staff was nice and helpful. If you're looking for a room to save money, this is it. The only issue for us was the paper thin walls and ceiling. You can hear every sound, even the neighbor's phone call. At one point, it was so bad we had to call the front to tell them that the people above us were loud and they said it was just room service cleaning up. You can hear every footstep and every conversation going on around you. I'd suggest staying on the top floor to help with the noise somewhat. We were on the first floor. If you're a light sleeper it will be a problem.
had smoking rooms available and close to the airport
The desk clerk was pleasant and accommodated a wrong day booking for me without trouble Old and very tired facilities and room. It was clean enough but worn out and the smoke smell was horrific.
Nothing Unpleasant People fighting outside of the door Loud Could not get any sleep so unhappy Called room service a couple times and they didn't do anything about it. No sleep. Not worth it at all would have rather drove 4 hours back home then stay there again.
Shuttle and driver to the airport was great. Evening staff at front desk was good Morning staff at front desk was rude when I called
Nothing The security doors were either broken or propped open, and the room was like a closet with a bed. It was in a bad area of town, the police were in the parking lot questioning a loitering couple when we arrived. We left and two hours later were able to find a room at a comfort inn a few miles away. Do not stay there!!!!
Nicest motel6 I have stayed in Seems to be updated Had a little area for dogs Front desk person was rude Sketchy people Couldn't get hot water in sink to wash hands/shower had hot water.
Close to Sea-Tac International airport The police that surrounded the motel after the murder.
nice guy at front desk rooms more like sterile rehab facility than motel, no art very uncomfortable most depressing ive ever seen... stains on bedding, two tiny pillows, laminate floor buckling... cleaning fluid stench so thick unable to breathe... tried 3 dif rooms all were same... looked as tho there were people living at motel... drove to hilton doubletree n stayed there instead...
I wanted a cheap hotel by the airport, and it is indeed a cheap hotel near the airport. Grim, though - all the furniture is bolted down.
The room itself was clean and okay for what we wanted to pay. There were no amenties in the room (hair dryer, shampoo, etc.) The air conditioning unit worked, but was very loud so you couldn't have it on to sleep because it would wake you evey time it came on. The security door was proped open all night.
Everything about this hotel was miserable!
It wasn't expensive and they seemed to take security seriously they didn't have complimentary shampoo/conditioner
Low price and right off the freeway. The gas station right next door was a plus. Nothing that was advertised to be there was lacking, but a mini fridge would have been very helpful.
The people in the front desk were really nice. The rooms were clean. Very convenience that there was a gasoline station was right next to us, within walking distance. If we were to stay for the night we would stay there ! I thought the price was not bad at all.
newer and very clean. Good value staff nice but a little inefficient especially due to malfunctioning printer.
Nothing really. The man at the desk was nice and helped us cancel an expedia reservation but the young lady called us after 1000pm to let us know that it was complete. That was nice of her but that is a little late to be calling people. We had already goine to bed. Our room key didn't work and had to go to office 3 times over a 30min time span before we were given another room. Than room smelled like pot. The other room we got had a cat pee smell and when we wiped water that my graddaughter spilled on it the washcloth was black. When we let the desk clerk know at checkout she just thanked us for helping out the next people and told us what she was going to do to make the stay for the next people nice. Woluld not stay there again.
Cheap and clean. The sheets gave my friend bad allergies. Poor quality sheets.
It's close to down town Everett Cleanliness was not even close to acceptable
Seen same size room have fridge and microwave. Non smoking smelled like smoke.
The staff was so rude on the phone, both the reservation person and the front desk staff that we cancelled and found another place.
Based on reviews and pictures it seems quite dingy but the rooms are well maintained, clean and bright. Certainly above what was expected for the price. Although it is located in an industrial area which might put some people off, it was very convenient in terms of location and access to public transport. The shower was small, with the showerhead located at roughly my neck height (I'm 5'9", for comparison) and an extremely weak stream. I wasn't especially bothered by the paucity of the "breakfast" but it certainly shouldn't be relied upon to get you going at the start of the day. Only if you haven't got time to get a real breakfast. The mattress was very very firm, which comes down to a metter of preference. Not for me. Staff was very brusque. Not rude but not especially helpful or welcoming either.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The price was reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. We were just a short drive from city attractions. Some of the outlets didn't work, so we couldn't charge phones.
Comfy beds, soft fluffy pillows, heater worked great, decent breakfast. No microwave
