Pros: Grace is a perfect host and the property is absolutely lovely - spacious, confortable, well appointed, with a nice little kitchen area and fresh food with bakery treats in the morning. Super quiet and 10 min walk from the center. My top choice when I visit Maastricht.
Cons: There was nothing to complain about at all.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely, spacious room with kitchen and dining area. Breakfast could be eaten independently of other guests as meats, cheeses, etc. were provided in the fridge and fresh rolls brought every morning.
Cons: Elderly guests might find the stairs rather steep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was in Maastricht for a scientific congress in March 2019. Since travel inside the city is quite easy by public bus, the location of the hotel was good. The room was big with a comfortable bed, kitchen facilities and bathroom. Owner of the hotel supplied fresh bread each morning and she was very kind and helpfull. I enjoyed my stay very much and recommend this hotel surely. Thank you very much for everything.

Pros: Very warm welcome from our host who gave us lots of useful information including restaurant recommendations. Being able to sit on the balcony was a bonus. Generous breakfast with fresh bakery items every day.
Cons: It was quite a few steps up to our apartment but the view once you were there made it worth it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable apartment with good facilities. All ingredients for a great breakfast were included. Our host, Grace, is a lovely lady who makes you feel most welcome, like you have a home away from home. We had a wonderful stay.
Cons: Nothing to complain about
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was indeed beyond expectation!!! The owner was very friendly and accommodating. When she knows we're Muslim she specially went to a halal supermarket and bought some meat and bread from there. Also, the room is well-arranged. We were cook breakfast with a simple-equipped "kitchen". I loved the design of this room, which was dominated by orange and wooden furnitures. In a word, HIGHLY recommend!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful apartment with plenty of space. Nice patio area. Quiet area but not too far from the centre. Lovely fresh bread from the bakery across the road and plenty of supplies in the fridge. Grace was a wonderful host and gave us plenty of suggestions for places to go Would love to stay again
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very cozy, spacious room. Fresh bread/pastries delivered to our door every morning, so we could enjoy breakfast in our room. I loved all the little touches in the room that made it feel like home. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant location, amazing breakfast in bed! Host was very friendly and available. The room is tastefully decorated as in pictures. There were also bathrobes and the minibar was free. Overall a special stay.
Cons: The room wasn’t very large. But it was fine for two days. The parking is a paid carpark a few mins walk- it cost 25 euros per day. We found that ok, just be aware that there is no online parking. Given the location that’s no surprise though!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The property was very comfortable and decorated nicely, the location was superb, a lot of attention to detail a lot of care and attention was very noticeable You could tell Frank the owner was a really nice guy and was putting his heart and sole into the business, breakfast in a suitcase what a great idea
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very well located, just in the hear of the old city Maastricht. They offered a teapot, tea/coffee/minibar free of charge, which is a luxury.
Cons: As I am a bit allergic against dust, and the room was full of decorations, which tend to get dusty, I was a bit skeptical, however I did not have any health issues, which means they really take care for cleanliness.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant location.clean and friendly.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: staff was very kind and helpful and respected all our special demands. breakfast came in a suitcase to our room and was perfect.
Cons: hotel was perfect but is situated on a busy square with lots of restaurants and bars. after closing time at night it was a bit noisy whe the square was cleaned and garbage trucks came early in the morning
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location perfect; breakfast fantastic; comfort, cleanliness and attention to detail all first class.
Cons: We had one of the attic bedrooms - accessible by three flights of steep stairs. No problem for us but if we'd been older and less fit, then it might have been a problem. The stairs had to be treated with respect, especially on the way down!! Good exercise though ............
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Nice and cozy room, great breakfast and best location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The décor was really nice. The breakfast "suitcase' was great.
Cons: It was fine for us but Stairs are steep and no elevator so not good if you have knee problems.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location 5 mins walk from the Vrijthof where André Rieu performs. I booked my parents in here while I stayed elsewhere. They said it was great and they were very happy with it. It's only 5 mins walk from Vrijthof and also on a busy square where you can hangout for drinks or dinner. Shopping streets literally around the corner too. An amazing fresh breakfast delivered in a box and the small mini-bar items included as part of the stay was a nice touch and really enjoyed. Also met at check-in by a lovely guy who showed us around. Thank you.
Cons: A little tricky to find, next door to a pastry/chocolate shop. It's more of an independent AirBnb type of space - it's not really a hotel with normal hotel facilities like a reception area, bar gym etc. Someone just decided to do up the rooms very nicely and serve their hosts well. And they do indeed. It wouldn't put me off staying there again, but just thought people should know that it's not really a hotel.
7.0 Good
Pros: The breakfast was lovely. The bread was very fresh and breakfast was well presented in a suitcase.
Cons: The stairs up to the room ween't great, but the staff helped us with the cases.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel's quiet location a few minutes walk from the train station. The young and enthusiastic staff. The hotel's decor and quirkiness. The breakfast bag placed outside your room door at a time of your choosing. The free coffee and pastries in the hangout bar. The water meter on the shower hose showing how much water you were using. The wood pigeon nesting in the palm tree outside the bedroom window. The many places to eat and drink close by.
Cons: The bathroom (with shower only and as I requested) was a bit too small. There was very little shelf space for personal toiletries. Swinging a cat was definitely not possible.

Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast. Location is great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We only stopped here for one night as was passing through but could have easily stayed for more. Maastricht is a cool place and Marcel was very friendly and welcoming making us feel at home ever if only for one night. Everything was as described, the quirky rooms were clean with a comfortable bed. Good value for money. We will return to Maastricht and stay here again. Within a short walking distance of restaurants, cafés/bars the location is ideal.
Cons: Nothing
6.8 Good
Pros: Great location, comfortable bed, beautiful building (with a lovely old staircase), good breakfast, hospitable host
Cons: The bathroom was awful (very small, old, tatty bath math etc); there was no air-conditioning in the room and because of the heat outside the temperature did not drop below 27 degrees in the room (and only a very small ventilator was provided, which did not make any difference whatsoever to the temperature); the reach of the wifi in certain parts of the room was simply not up to scratch (it was not good enough to be able watch anything on Netflix for example). We left 2 days earlier than we planned due to the heat in the room (even if the host kindly offered us a discount on our next stay in BE41 to compensate us for the inconvenience). We would recommend the hotel to install air-conditioning or provide bigger ventilators in the room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: stylish room equipment, location, overall atmosphere. we enjoyed every second in Maastricht
Cons: Since the room was under the roof , in hot days A/C would be nice
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Not so important and probably this could be solved by discussing with the owner , but this is not a pleasant thing to do when you have such a nice host. So I will say it - the toilet items were not replaced/refilled during the stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Host Marcel Was fantastic, breakfasts were huge & scrumptious
Cons: Nothing, we were on the 3rd floor, 56 steps , good exercise excellent position

6.8 Good
Pros: Excellent breakfast, very friendly owner.
Cons: It's incredible noisy outside with scooters whizzing past at all hours of the night. There was no air conditioning so we had to keep the windows open. Layout quite strange, bathroom and bedroom not connected and owner seems to share the apartment so not very private.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, super clean, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, friendly host, provide extra meal like soup during my stay.
Cons: small room and no place to work
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Jean's attentiveness was excellent. A warm welcome on arrival and a perfect host throughout our stay. Perfectly placed for the centre of Maastricht. Lovely view of the river.
Cons: Only bug bear is that the bed filled the bedroom from wall to wall (head to foot). This isn't shown on the picture of the bedroom. If you have mobility problems it would cause an issue.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The host Jean is super friendly. He called and verified our arrival time to be sure to be there. He offered to help with the luggage and he prepared a good breakfast the next morning at the time of our choice. The apartment was clean and sufficient for a stop over. The B&B is located very close to the city center, everything is in walking distance.
Cons: The B&B is at the 2. floor of an apartment building. The stairs are quite steep and small. Not recommended for old people. The B&B consists of one bedroom, which is small: The room has one big double-bed and a chair plus a TV to watch when in bed.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Susan was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We were given the top floor apartment which was fabulous however stairs were steep so tread carefully, a bit dated but that doesn’t mean tatty that just added to the lovely homely feel - Shame we only stayed two nights as could have easily done a full week there. Big thumbs up to Susanne who worked really hard and breakfast selection of cold add ins to the eggs and bacon was excellent.
Cons: Everything (except steep staircase)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice vintage furniture and beautifull sun deck when you book studio. Location is great just outside busy town centre.
Cons: Separate beds in studio room.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast in the garden was beautiful, only in the room there was any air conditioning system
8.0 Excellent
Pros: te staff is very kind , and the breakfast was very good
Cons: unfortunately I staid there for one night but during the heat wave ,and there was no air conditionning sytem . as there were many great windows with the sun knocking on just in front , the room was extremely warm , and only started to become a bit fresh in the morning ; even if there was a ventilator
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from city centre, but is excellent for value, cleanliness and friendly. We will definitely return if we visit Maastricht again.
Cons: No air conditioning, but the room had a fan which helped.

Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We liked so many things about this place. It's located in a beautiful part of Maastricht very close to the Market Square and only a short walk to all the sights. The rooms are large and best of all they have proper air conditioners. So important when it's very hot outside. Parking was excellent. Just around the corner. The bar and restaurant are beautifully decorated and very appealing as is the outside courtyard. Plenty of places to relax and enjoy breakfast, a meal or coffee.
Cons: Unfortunately we were in Maastricht for an Andre Rieu concert. All the accommodation providers put up their prices dramatically so for us it was more expensive. Normally the Fitz Roy would be great value for money.

Pros: Good location. Beautiful room.
Cons: No fridge
5.8 Okay
Cons: The ceilings were so low that we constantly need to walk in uncomfortable position in a room in order not to hurt our heads. The same problem was in the bathroom. Also there were no elevators so we had to walk on and from the third floor with heavy bags

6.8 Good
Pros: Excellent location, fantastic and friendly staff, a warm welcome and help-10/10 customer experience. Good breakfast included
Cons: The room was very overpriced-with all the sympathy to the lovely hosts. I paid 300 eur for one night/three people-it should have been half this price for this city and standard. Still, I fully understand it was high tourist season so no hard feelings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a quaint place in a great location. The owner is an absolute pleasure and so very kind and accommodating. Breakfast was the best we had in a very long time. We highly recommend this place!!
6.8 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: I booked there because of the good comments in MichelinGuide and on TripAdvisor but finally I was very disappointed. The shower was a swimming pool. No “warm welcome” whatsoever : on Saturdays check in strictly BEFORE 2 pm or AFTER 6 pm. If you fancy to sleep in dark, make a request, otherwise there are only light curtains. You can complain but no sorries or apologizing, just a rude ignoring
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit was delicious and there was a good selection of pastries and breads. The location couldn’t have been more perfect for attending the Andre Rieu concert. The staff were just lovely.
Cons: It was fine for us but the stairs are very tight and steep so would be hard for people with mobility issues.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms with character and very convenient location to all highlights.
Cons: 3rd floor room with no lifts and steep staircase was a challenge for my 80 years old mother.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff friendly and helpful. Amazing breakfast
Cons: Nothing really to complain about.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location is pretty central. The breakfast is also good.
Cons: There was no airco in the room, and the weather was 35 degrees. One of staff(the older lady) was very rude to us because we didn’t eat the omelette with meat because we are vegetarians.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host, Esmeralda, was extremely welcoming. She served us all tea and drinks on arrival and secured private parking for our two cars at the rear of the property. As we were attending an Andre Rieu concert the location was superb as we were only 9 minutes walk away from the Vrijthof Square. There was plenty for all at breakfast, including fresh fruit salad and some some cooked options. We would definately choose to stay there again if we were returning for a city break visit. Thank you to ALL the staff for making us so welcome!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect for walking into the square. A few minutes longer to the market place and to the river. An excellent mix of shops from high street stores to the smaller shops in the back streets. Enjoyed walking round the market on Friday. The deep fried fish (salmon and prawns) from a stall are delicious. The staff at Rekko are extremely helpful and we would stay there again. Breakfast out in the courtyard the second morning was fantastic.
Cons: We were on the third floor with stairs only so if you mobility is not quite as good this may be a problem as no lift. We had no problems though.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Personal and very helpful approach of the owner

Pros: Super comfortable bed, a friendly, personal greeting upon arrival, great breakfast.
Cons: The bathroom had a swinging door as divider. It was short so the privacy was limited, this took getting used to.
7.0 Good
Pros: Garden area and views were lovely, owners were friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Basic facilities suitable for the limited time we were there. Plenty of free parking and quiet area, (no kids screaming ) Close to Maastricht town - I am sure if we had asked for anything extra the owners would have abliged, but we didn’t want to impose, We would go back felt very welcome.
Cons: A little warm in the lower part of the loft apartment, a fan downstairs would have been nice as in the hot weather you needed it upstairs. The pull out was a little hard, but we placed the duvet under the sheet for extra padding which helped. The shower flooded everywhere albeit a nice shower. (We showered at a particular angle to avoid flooding the area and to not ruin the loft appartment) Breakfast was available, but at a set price. I.e you still paid €13 even if you had just an omelette, which I thought was a little bit expensive as my mum is diabetic and couldn’t eat much else but needed to eat, (She didn’t want to cause any fuss at the time) We would go back and really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Karin and Frank were great hosts. The property had an amazing view of Maastricht and a network of hiking trails very close by. The breakfast was also very yummy!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A lovely old farm made into a beautiful B&B. Do not expect slick, style and flashy, but charming yet comfortable. The view on the city of Maastricht is fantastic. Breakfast is a splendid mix of local products, topped with one or two warm treats made by the host.
Cons: It is an old building, hence not completely soundproof.

Pros: Elise really went the extra mile and was at the venue before 6:00 in the morning to make the delicious breakfast. Thank you Elise! The apartment is spacious, clean, really central in Maastricht (one block from Vrijthof) and had everything I needed. Elise was extremely flexible when checking in and out.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was amazing, with the sweets changing every day!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Our staying in MAastricht was very nice and relaxing :) First of all, Elise and Robert was very kind to come for us at airport, so we had no problems of how to go to their place. They offered us warm drink and traditional Holland sweets which were disappeared immediately :) Elise gave us so good explanations of where we can go and what we can see that it solved our concern of not having any plans. Thank you very much, Elise, we liked a lot your suggestions ;) And the house locates very close to main square and streets with shops and restaurants, so I couldn't wish better. We had opportunity to choose the room and I choose the smaller one as it is always easy to keep it warm. The room had all necessary and even ketle with teas, the heating was working fine as well andwe actually slept supergood. So if it will be another occasion to come to MAastricht I would stay again there. In general the city is nice and calm, not much tourists and no immigrants, looks save :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very cozy, clean and nice hotel at a great location. Elise, the owner, was very caring and helpful. The place can certainly be recommended.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room looked fantastic, the red and black really popped. It was well fitted out as well.
Cons: There were only a few places to sit at normal tables and chairs for breakfast. The rest were high tables and stools, looks nice but very difficult if you have a disability. The tables are also too small. No umbrellas when you walked from the one building to the next. The bottles of water in the room were warm.
6.3 Good
Pros: Great staff and location in an amazing city but the room was filthy. Absolutely disgusting. Dust, spiderwebs and tidemarks in the bath.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: I loved how quirky it was and the staff were so helpful & friendly
Cons: There wasn’t anything I didn’t like
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Quirky design but sometime form outweighs function.
Cons: Room three over noisy front road. Overheated by sun. Mobile air conditioner needs open window so get noise from road cobblestones.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: It had a small fridge and all drinks were 2 euro each. Big room with old rusty artefacts.
Cons: Concierge closed at 2pm. They tried to contact me but I only had free wifi. Squeaky floors to all units.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and great price. Short walk from the main square and right opposite a QPark. Staff were really helpful and friendly and have advice on what to do and see. The room was huge, comfortable and quiet.
Cons: Minor gripe was the LED lights around the fridge could not be turned off and were a bit like a night light. We threw a towel over it which his the light.

8.9 Excellent (554 reviews)
Overview Reviews
You'll be centrally located in Maastricht with a stay at Alex Maastricht, within a 15-minute walk of Bonnefanten Museum and Basilica of Our Lady.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed. Clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Very close to station and a fifteen minute walk into the centre of Maastricht.
Cons: The room we had was quite small which is ok if storage is well planned. However, there were only three coat hooks to hang clothes on hangers rather than a rail on the wall. We only stayed a couple of nights so not much of a problem for us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice big and clean room with a good bathroom. Good location, close to the station and with a real nice terrace where you can get a good beer on a summer evening
Cons: Not much, only thing I can think of is the fact that they don't have an elevator. Not a problem for me but can be a dealbreaker for the elderly people among us
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location was great. Very busy outdoor area. Food was very tasty and reasonably priced.
Cons: The stairs were a struggle. No other issues though
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A small very comfortable and welcoming hotel. Usually I would expect hotels this close to the rail station to be run down. This one is smart and fresh with a delightful cafe beneath. My room overlooked a quiet elegant street. Everything worked, the bed was excellent and there was no noise at all. For a light dinner I felt no need to go any further than the hotel bar.
Cons: It was simply excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fine.
Cons: No complaints.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a nice hotel and the bad was very clean. The breakfeast was very very good. The staff is very friendly
Cons: The bed could be cleaner. There was an old t-shirt under the bed an some hairs in the bed.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean and quiet. Great location. Friendly staff.
Cons: There was no wardrobe in my room, because it was so small :). But this was just a small drawback.
6.8 Good
Cons: Since we have been arranged to be on the 4th floor, the heavy cases have to be carried onto the room, without lift :-( On the other hand, I couldn't believe it was the most expensive and the only non-refundable hotel for me this trip - nearly 270 Euro/night, 3 times of its normal price at other times! Is it only because of the Andreau's concert?!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Yes croissants were excellent, beds comfy, food good, morning orange juice superb
Cons: The stairs. no good for a couple of 80 year olds, had to live out of the suitcases,no where to put change of clothes etc.
4.3 Okay
Cons: Booked the room with the balcony. Booked on Christmas day as we were going to the Andre Rieu concert. Paid £295 as this was a special occasion and believed that we had the best room. When we got there we had a room in the back of the hotel, next to a night club which stayed open until 2pm. Have requested a refund of part of the money as hotel is not what we expected and because of the noise next door but hotel have refused. There are plenty of hotels available whilst the concerts are on at much more reasonable rates, so don't rush into booking this one. Also breakfast has to be paid on top of this price.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great Location and lovely decoration. Staff very friendly and caring even before arrival, got directions.
6.3 Good
Pros: Staff excellent and very helpful with dealing with queries prior to our stay and also once we were there. Great location. Big rooms, plenty of space. Nice breakfast but expensive for what was offered - especially given price already paid for room (close to €300 for 1 night).
Cons: Unbelievable noisy - inside and out, sounded like a herd of elephants were above us. There was no air con so we needed the window open - noise from outside was horrendous. Beds uncomfortable. Also too light as curtains didn't fit window. Barely got any sleep. Way way way over priced. Shame because the staff were lovely and very helpful.

Pros: Galerie Hotel Dis is located right in the heart of Maastricht. It is a nice classic building with cozy rooms. Just a 6 minute walk from the Vrijthof, 10 minutes away from the Markt and 15-20 to Maastricht train station. Lovely staff and charming service.
Cons: Nothing.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location of the hotel is just perfect. Large room, very clean and nicely decorated. Quite and relax. Nice people. Don't expect conventional hotel reception, it's different but real cool.
Cons: Parking around is really not easy. The pay parkings are a bit far and in all the streets around you need to pay (don't miss it for a minut you get a penalty right away!!). No lift to uper floors.
6.3 Good
Pros: The room size was fantastic (front facing, 3rd floor), really spacious, nice bath room & a terrific location; the oldest quarter of Maastricht yet within easy walking distance of the city center, plenty of restaurants & cafes near by
Cons: The stairs up were a bit steep & narrow, but we already knew this in advance
7.7 Good
Pros: Our room was very spacious and tastefully furnished and decorated. Excellent location in a quiet street, very near the centre of Maastricht. Very friendly and helpful owners.
Cons: Lugging our suitcases up all the stairs (our room was on the 4th floor) because there is no lift.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel in a wonderful and central location. Very spacious room and a good buffet breakfast.
7.3 Good
Pros: Excellent location in the heart of Maastricht with its cobblestone streets, Roman walls and old buildings - and right near great shopping and cafes! A car is not needed here. The hotel is simple but full of old world charm. Great value for money - a lovely old building, clean rooms, and comfortable beds.
Cons: I have no complaints for the value price we paid for the room (on a weekday) - except that a kettle with tea and coffee sachets would have been nice in the morning ;-)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Huge room with modern conveniences in lovely old building in the middle of the historic city.
Cons:
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The charm of the hotel, the combination of the gallery and hotel. Beautiful breakfast chapel, very comfortable rooms, agreeable host. Great location as well.
Cons: During the night there was a noise outside (we assume an airco of the neighbours). It was really loud so we did not have a good night of sleep. A bit unfortunate for the hotel because it was clearly something in the neighbourhood.
5.6 Okay
Pros: located very close to the center
Cons:
5.2 Okay
Pros: characteristic spot; good service
Cons:
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: It was right in the center
Cons: The room itself, old furniture, outdated, etc.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good, location fine
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely beautiful! 5*
Cons: Everything! Staff, friendliness, cleanliness and what a treat you are in for!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was professional and helpful. We were offered a glass of bubbly upon check-in, which was a nice touch. There were a lot of spots to hang out in peace and relax, including two courtyards. Loved the breakfast and the location, which was in the mezzanine of the old church. Really special spot and quite a selection of fresh and well-prepared food options.
Cons: Our room itself was in the annex, not the main building. The configuration was odd, but it was fine for a single night. If we were to stay longer, we would have asked to move to the main building.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice location, good breakfast, great building/unique place to stay Good bathroom, nice staff
Cons: Airco could be a bit better in rooms The blinds on the windows in our room did not block the light (gap on the side) means the lights shines right on your fave on the morning. Pathway right outside our room had a lot of staff walking by all the time outside. (room 15)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Personalized tour. Great recommendations for dinner Friendly staff
Cons: I liked everything.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Kruisnerenhotel is a remarkable property. The hotel and restaurant are built inside of an old church, and it is an incredibly effective combination of history and ultramodern. Strange combo but very cool in the end. The rooms are well appointed... comfortable beds, nice amenities, great shower/bathroom. I have stayed here multiple times and there are several room types, some larger than others. The Deluxe Room is my favorite so far. Will be back soon!
Cons: You must valet your car, as the parking spaces in front of the hotel are not owned by the hotel. It is a nice service, but I wasn't aware I had to valet up front, or that someone else would be driving my car.

9.3 Excellent
Cons: Breakfast to expansive
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location. Lovely breakfasts in a unique surrounding. We love Maastricht and will chose the Derlon Hotel again.
Cons: Having to leave.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was everything I could have wished for, well designed, well equipped and with a ovely view on the church towers. It was as silent as it could possibly be and the bed was divine. I don't think I've slept this well in years.
Cons: The staff that i was received by at arrival seemed to be untrained in the art of hospitality.. It felt like dealing with someone at the post-office (no offence to those who work at a post-office), indifferent and perfunctory. When it came to the payment, i was paying cash and my money was refused rather unpleasantly because of a pencil scribble on the bills. I was made to feel like I wanted to pay with counterfeit.. not cool. To be fair, the staff handling my check-out the next day was friendly and helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ideally situated in city centre. Staff were very helpful with all requests especially given how busy the weekend was.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was served in a roman setting museum which was different than usual. The location for Andre Rieu concert was perfect. The valet parking offered was fantastic. The staff from the time we pulled up to departure was fabulous.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: The breakfast was very bad
7.0 Good
Pros: Tasty, generous and healthy breakfast! Really very good. Also served in an interesting museum setting with friendly and efficient staff.
Cons: The setting of the room with the bathroom that looked like 'ad hoc ' built in the corner of the room and the wasbasin in the cupboard (first time we see this kind of odd arrangement)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location
Cons: Cobbled road and footpath, no wheelchair ramp at entrance to hotel
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Best location in Maastricht, lovely hotel sitting on top of an archaeological dig, well displayed in basement breakfast restaurant setting. Incredible amenities and comfort.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We actually spent two nights in this hotel. The first night was booked through a travel agency in connection with a concert we attended in that city. The second night was booked by us through booking.com. The hotel let us stay in the same room for both nights, though, and the transition with the reservations went smoothly.
Cons: The only thing we were really disappointed in was the air conditioning. Although the room had air conditioning, it did not seem to be adjustable, and got a little stuffy during the night. Everything else was very satisfactory, though, and we enjoyed our stay.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location, just off the main square. Excellent array of breakfast items and freshly cooked scrambled eggs and bacon. Superior room was attractive, cool and comfortable.
Cons: Bathroom was beautiful but towel rail quite dusty and the bath had marks from nail polish from previous occupant, so cleaning could have been a little more thorough.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was superb for the reason we attended to the Andre Rieu concert and also central location to many bars and restaurants and the shopping street.
Cons: Did not get a notification saying to go to the sister hotel if not checking in until after 4pm. Other guests entering the hotel advised us, otherwise would not have known where to go.
7.5 Good
Pros: 2nd time to stay here. But our room the first time was much bigger ☺️
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything about this place Great location Friendly staff
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The family room that we booked (for 4 friends) was tastefully done and had a lot of space. The bathroom is the star of this property with a huge bath and shower and multiple sinks for a group. The single beds are slightly smaller than standard size ones but nevertheless very comfortable.
Cons: If you ave lot of luggage (we didn't), good to keep in mind that the family room is on the third floor without an elevator. Also, this place lacks a locker room so if you want to leave your bags behind the you have to leave it in the open breakfast area. Not convenient if you have valuables in your bag. Buffet breakfast is slightly on the expensive side for an additional price of €14.50.
6.8 Good
Pros: We booked the location as it was within walking distance to the town square where the Andre Rieu concert was held. This proximity was perfect for our family.
Cons: There was a mix up to where housekeeping did not service one of our rooms which also did not have items to make tea with. After calling the front desk they did resolve the issue. I think we had higher expectations for the cost that was paid.
7.5 Good
Pros: Close to square with lots of choice to eating out. All cafes, restos & bars opened till late. Breakfast was fine. Rooms had airconds which were handy during the summer. Could hear Andre Rieu concert during the concert weekends. Great music.
Cons: Room wasn't cleaned daily. Had to remind them. Reception not manned 24hours but a phone call away with another sister hotel. All shopping in the area close at 6pm.
7.5 Good
Pros: The proximity to the concert we came to see was perfecto
Cons: I thought that the price charged was exhorbitant compared with the hotel we were staying at in Amsterdam se
9.5 Excellent
Pros: There were many things to like about this property, but the best aspect was the location of it! Right next to Vrijthof where there are many restaurants and bars. The rooms were very clean and we had the garden view.
7.5 Good
Pros: Fabulous location
Cons: Room excessively hot, no air conditioning and only able to open attic room window a fraction. Really very uncomfortable compared to room on floor below.
