Front desk personnel went above and beyond to insure comfort
It had an indoor pool One day there was a meeting there and parking was a challenge in the hotel's small parking lot during business hours.

The suite had two air conditioners. Neither worked very well at all. I'm assuming it's a pet friendly motel because a dog left in a room on the floor below us woke us up barking incessantly. For the price I expected better.
Staff was friendly, room was clean and PET friendly.
Very clean and comfortable.
I was staying in the area to compete in the Ironman. The hotel moved their breakfast to 3am to accommodate the athletes staying there. I thought that was really considerate of them. They still even held their regular breakfast hours as well. The location wasn't ideal but it worked.
Looked new. Rooms were spacious and clean. They never had the hot tub operational for the entire trip. Freezing cold and maybe its because the water was cold but it also looked unclean.
location was great the air conditioner broke and they only gave us $20.00 off the room, they didn't fix it or offer a new room

Hotel and room were very clean
Room was noisy, across from elevator plus a/c unit was so loud we couldn't hear the tv. The door to the hall was poorly constructed and let in so much light it was hard to sleep. The mattress was ridiculously hard.
The staff is very friendly and helpful! The location is amazing for walking by the river, shopping, and dining! I love staying at the Waterway Marriott because everything is accessible in just a short walk.
Helpful staff Terrible value for the money. Nothing remarkable about the hotel at all. I have stayed in nicer rooms at MUCH less expensive hotels. I don't understand why the rate was so very high. Nothing special at all.
Location was the best for everything on our agenda. Everything!!!!
Room was clean and very comfortable - from the arrangement, the furniture, the amenities to the quality of the bedding. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options. The cafe seating was comfortable and spacious with big windows to enjoy the beautiful scenery. it was all good.
Staff was helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable. N/A
Great room design, with plenty of usable space. Good breakfast. Noisy a/c in room.
It is an easy drive from Houston and close to all the sites in the Woodlands. But, with great rooms, golf, tennis, a spa and multiple restaurants you would never have to leave the resort. We cannot wait until we can come back
My son had a good time... But, he is two and has a good time at the Best Westerns and Holiday Inns when we're on road trips, too. The beds are very comfortable. The pool is definitely nice, but the lazy river is very short and neither alone are nice enough to warrant a trip to the resort. It was not what I expected for the price. The restaurants are expensive and the food by the pool was not very good at all. I ordered at the bar near the pool because a waitress did not come by quick enough. After tipping $10 (because our total for two appetizers, a kid's meal, and one beer was $50), the man working told me that since I had ordered there, I would need to come pick up the order in about 10-15 minutes instead of them bringing it to me. The staff was friendly, but not $250/night kind of service. If you're in the woodlands for something, and have the money for this place, I would give this place a shot, but I would not go out of my way to stay here otherwise.
Loved our stay! The outdoor fire was so cozy, the hot tub relaxing and the room was splendid
Cordial staff and excellent accommodations. Prefer locking option on lavatory and shower doors.
The rooms are well appointed and of great layout.
Room was great and very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very few food options during the off season. We were looking for a place to meet some friends, who were also staying here, for a late lunch after arrival but nothing was open.
Loved the golf course; wife loved the spa; we all loved the water park; we loved the food; fireworks every Friday evening.; neon putt putt; good sushi. Ants in our room (but fixed the problem quick) staff too much on a schedule no room for flexibility.; need to know area a little better. Recommendations for food and boat rental were both poor.
Our massage sessions were good The overall facility was dirty. We had a room on the seventh floor, but there was noted bug and bird feces all over the Windows- everywhere. It doesn't seem that management is concerned with the presentation/cleanliness of the resort. We had noted pet hair on our carpet- for the duration of our stay, there was a towel wrapped under the ice machine on our floor (never changed). The buffet was the only eatery we tried, which was enough for us to want to venture off site for dining choices. The food of the buffet was limited and wasn't fresh, no one was available at the cutting station (though there were only two other tables at the time). Not worth the value for what we paid for a party of three. The pool area was also unkept. There were fire ants on the one section entering the lazy river. Only four elevators for a hotel with 20 floors? It was a stampede trying to get an elevator. I hope that the current management of this hotel reads reviews to improve their establishment- it is a nice location, and not too far a distance from Houston for a quick getaway, however, the price to stay here isn't justified with the subpar upkeep.
We loved the pools, the food was good, the staff was helpful. We loved the sushi bar. The piano player was fantastic. We have spent time at other resorts similar to this and this was the best value we have found! Rooms were huge!!!! Needs a little upgrade, the lazy river is just OK. A little better customer service in food/bar.
the view was beautiful overlooking lake. nice choices for restaurants resort fee-we never used any of the facilities. furniture not comfortable. we extended our stay one night. went online and booked however we had to change rooms and the room was available direct for twice the amount i got it for.
the updated room was very nice, love the bathroom the ball room and convention area is beautiful. we had beautiful views from our room. when we entered NO one greeted us. the desk staff 3 at the time. One person being waited on. the other didn't say hello or we will be with you in a minute or anything , felt like they didn't want to have eye contact because they would have to help us check in. the wait was not long, but was not welcoming. the remote in the room for the living room didn't work, you would think they would check things like that. I didn't want to spend my time getting things fixed in the room somebody must have been cleaning up in the entry (in plan site of the check in) , there was a cleaning bottle just left in the area on the floor in the middle of the area, no one seemed to care at all. the exterior of the tower very plain hasn't changed in the 20 years since we visited before. Not attractive at all. Looks old. I understand it is winter, as I have traveled in the winter I have seen some nice winter landscaping. they might wont to do a little during this time. the windows in our room where really dirty. took away from the beautiful views
The room was very nice. The grounds are green. There was not nearly enough staff considering there was a large wedding and a wine festival going on.
We like the view Very expensive - they charge extra for a crib, add 20% to our bills for tip?!?! Per night stay is outrageous. You go to Miami or Hawaii for cheaper price - 300$+ per night? Crazy
The kids enjoyed the pool and water features. The grounds seem like they are unfinished and portions of the tower are outdated. The halls were not air conditioned, and smelled musty. The rooms were cool and comfortable. The layout of the grounds is not convenient (I.e. Boat ramp on one side, dock on opposite side. Restaurant located far from tower, wait staff terrible.) Food and drinks overpriced for what you get. Pool closes too early.
It was clean. Building was locked up and safe. Pool area was nice. Staff was mostly friendly. Good for a one night stay. No shuttle. No food. No good food near by. Bad location if you want to See the town. Did not have a small fan for guest to use. One staff member was kinda rude. A bit over priced for the area. I would stay again if room was $40 less a night.
Staff, room, breakfast, location were all very good. Road noise was so loud, we could not sleep.
Hand-written note under our door before checkout was an unexpected, personal touch that demonstrated exemplary customer service.
Located in the middle of great shopping, entertainment, and restaurants. Beautiful room and view. Hot tub hours too short in the evening.
The rooms are very nice . The staff : valet , the doorman, and Shannon at front desk was very nice and courteous . We will be back!
The place was quiet, clean, and comfortable with plenty of restaurants and a movie theater nearby. This will be our first choice the next time we travel to Tomball Nothing
Ha microwave and refrigerator The chemicals they clean with and the roaches in the room. Would not have stayed there but had due to booking online and couldn't get money back, which I'd NEVER book online with any company, use direct hotel in case this happens
Liked the kitchen: full fridge/freezer, microwave, sink, stove-top, dish washers. I was traveling to see a medical specialist and I have unique medical needs the require me to have access to refrigeration with the huge bonus of a microwave in-room as well. Was much more accommodating and felt much more luxurious than the previous area hotel I stayed at (with that "luxury" room priced at over $210/night.) Very happy with this La Quinta, especially with it's proximity to many important stops for my trip including my doctor, a nice Walmart, shell gas stations, and plenty of restaurant options. Staff helped me out with faxing a big medical report as well, very courteous and helpful. I opted in for the extended check-out time that comes with the loyalty perks program, but my room key still got deactivated at noon like normal. Came back from my doctor's appointment to find I couldn't get into my room, but all I had to do was go back to the front desk and they straightened it out.
Rooms were clean facility was updated and nice breakfast was good N/A
Everything. We stayed here after attending Buzzfest at The Pavilion. It was close to the venue and the breakfast was great. Nothing.
We loved the location, we wanted a night out together that would be convenient, our room was nice and clean, the staph was very courteous and they had a 25 hr. Starbucks. The only thing i didn't like was that the bar drinks were over $10 but weren't that great but then again there was plenty to choose from close by.
convenience to who I was visiting in The Woodlands
The interior of the hotel was very clean & quiet. The staff was very friendly & helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
The evening check in staff was too young ladies that were outstanding. They were polite, pleasant, efficient, and very helpful. With the elite status with the Holiday Inn card, I was upgraded to the foot floor and and upgraded suite. The room but I was upgraded to was very lacking insides and upgraded sweet amenities. I was very disappointed in this.
Easy access Weak air conditioning, rooms smell musty and feel damp
The location was convenient to Lone Star College. Multiple lights in the room were on the circuit with the main switch for the entry light. I couldn't have the desk light on without the main light on.
Cleanliness, service, and very good full breakfast. Provided us toothpaste (saved us major time from looking for a drug store) . Fast and free wifi. Microwave and fridge a plus. Hop on hop off I-45 Fitness center . Hair dryer didn't work BUT the front desk was awesome for lending me one. The fitness could use some space but it's probably not often used by guests and not a big priority.
Hard to find. Nice hotel, friendly staff. Location. Otherwise fine.
A beautiful place , nice staff , great room , wonderful breakfast Room was very hot with AC adjusted , very warm
Housekeeping staff were friendly and hard working. The property is not in the Woodlands but in a surrounding suburb. The front desk staff were not friendly nor helpful. Rooms were a little dated and my expectations were higher compared to other Homewood Suites I have visited.
Very clean - like new. Comfortable beds and furniture. Plenty of room. Nice common spaces. Staff, most especially front desk, somewhat tolerated guests rather than welcoming and gracious attitude. Request a room away from the front - very noisy due to location on major highway.
We didn't get much sleep due to our neighbors being loud, it carried on into the morning and I finally called the desk hoping they would come speak with them. They didn't speak to the neighbors, but did comp our room. The carpet in the elevators was dated and peeling up, also found mold in the shower.
The customer service, breakfast (free!), staff attitude, amenities, cleanliness, and overall experience was second to none. I've stayed in hotels all over the world and nothing has compared to this one. I was there for the Texas Ironman, here they gave us a pre race dinner and a morning breakfast before the race, all with perfect food. Every person that came back to the hotel after the race got a standing ovation from the staff. Just incredible service. The room was also phenomenal. Nothing, best hotel I've ever been to.
