Pros: Far away from the crowds, very calm and tranquil. Exceptional cusion, helpfuk staff.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very quiet place, isolated from touristic spots and surrounded by nature. A paradise, with a very caring and tailored service. Superb breakfast, lunch and dinner, for a healthy retreat.
Cons: The beach happened to be covered by seaweed, which sadly was also the case all over the coast since Playa del Carmen. That said, we used protective neoprene shoes to walk up to a great spot where we had one of the best swim and snorkel ever!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From breakfast to lunch to dinner the food was amazing. Walks on the beach grand. fun snorkeling. Who would want to ever leave. Management was great, staff amazing. Always a smile!! You are away from it all. My partner and I will be back.

Cons: Wifi was slow af, but I thing that’s everywhere in Mahahual
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a lovely hotel right on the waterfront and offers a cabana-style area on the beach with massages if you want! Our room was spacious, well designed and clean. The staff (especially Carlos in the restaurant/beach wait staff!) was super friendly and helpful. The price was amazing for what we had including a kitchenette with all the needed kitchen equipment. The restaurant was delicious and offered a variety of dishes (we ate breakfast, dinner and beachfront snacks). The charming town has great restaurants and friendly people. There are a lot of vendors but really they are just trying to make a living so no bother and we got some great souvenirs! This is a gem on the beautiful Mahahaul beach and we can't wait to go back!
Cons: Maybe a luggage rack in the room would be handy but that is it! The "loveboats" come in (cruise ships as we call them)- not every day though as our stay was during low season. This creates a different tourist vibe but honestly, it is still a sleepy beach town.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location was niceand so were the room. Very friendly staff. Beautiful view.
Cons: Thiere were no chairs or table on our balcony. I ordered coconut shimp for dinner and they tasted like they were leftovers from the day before and microwaved.

Thanks to everybody I don't remember the name, but I appreciate the change of the room, the balcony with sea view, and also the discount on the price we originally planned to pay; we will come back.
Cons: There were many seaweed "Sargasso " on the beach. However, we reconsigned the effort made daily cleaning the beach

Pros: Miguel is an excellent manager and the staff was friendly and your needs are met immediately. Overall it's a nice, clean, quiet, and comfortable place to relax. I like the area by the beach.
Cons: The view by the beach was magnificent but the rock chairs by the beach were uncomfortable. A bench should be added. The jacuzzi was cold and was not functioning correctly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely love love love Costa Maya villas! everything about this place is magic. Set right on the ocean with beautiful scenery all you hear is the waves crashing. The suites are beautifully finished with huge living spaces. Comfortable beds and all the little extras that make you feel like royalty. The staff are amazing and very accommodating. Always there to help if needed. By far, my most favourite place in Mexico and will most definitely be back!
Cons: There wasn't a single thing that I could say negative about this place
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The condo was extra clean and well appointed with everything you need to stay in for meals or lounge by the pool. They thought of everything! Comfy cushioned lounge chairs lull you to sleep to the sound of the surf as you relax and unwind. Inside, the granite countertops and travertine floors make you feel luxurious and cool. Comfortable beds with smooth linens and soft towels in the bathroom are perfect after a day of sunning. We spent a day walking around the town finding wonderful restaurants and cute shops. The local artist are very unique, not the same ole things you see at every other Mexican tourist stops. I will be back very soon!

Almaplena Beach Resort - Majahual - Bedroom
4
8.8 Excellent (656 reviews)

You can enjoy Mexican and Italian cuisine in the restaurant’s open-air dining area. À la carte breakfast charged separately is available under previous request. The resort is situated next to the renowned Puerto Angel diving site, perfect for snorkelling. Just 100 metres off shore, you can spot tropical fish and coral on the Meso-American Barrier Reef. The Almaplena is a 20-minute drive from Mahahual village and 90 minutes from Chetumal Airport. Cancun International Airport is a 4-hour drive away.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, simple, remote. Camilo (front desk), and Quique (restaurant) are kind, and sweet and take great care of guests. Their restaurant offered a small, very nice menu with great ceviche!
Cons: Heat got a bit overwhelming for just a fan in the room, but most places in the area are like that. Just took cold showers and laid in bed to cool off. Nobody mentions the zargazo algae problem. This algae bloom is affecting the entire eastern Yucatán coast and it makes for very undesirable beaches. It piles up and stinks pretty bad, so beach front accommodations are not worth the price, even though Almaplena has guys from sun to sun raking it up and dumping it to the sides of the property. In town Mahahual, beachfront “clubs” place a giant net perimeter in their beaches to keep algae out, so you’ll have a place to drive to to get in the sea.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and quiet place. Perfect to chill out. Jazz during breakfast - it is something I like very much
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Stoff and the place were outstanding..
Cons: The only thing I would improve is that it was really hot. I had problems sleeping. There is only one fan in the room.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: The chef was very attentive and friendly
Cons: The main issue with the stay was the staff, especially the manager of the hotel. He was rude and ignorant. He wasn’t very welcoming, when we decided to leave a night early he didn’t ask what was wrong or apologise. No offer to help with bags and no remorse about our awful experience.
7.1 Good
Pros: The room was very nice, it was kept clean and tidy. We enjoyed the balcony and the hammock. It is very peaceful.
Cons: The food could have been better. We couldn't swim at the beach because of the seaweed. We had to travel 30 minutes into town so we could swim. The wifi connection isn't very good.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Rooms nice and clean. Awesome location 20min cab ride away from Mahahual downtown. Beach pretty much for yourself + good restaurant.
Cons: Beach/Ocean was Full of seaweed. Restaurant did not serve many „local“ dishes. Quite expensive restaurant.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean and nice. Kind staff. Beautiful place.
Cons: There was no hot water at the shower. And many insects...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely everything! It’s a little paradise.
Cons: Internet was very poor and at the hotel they didn’t accept the payment done with the credit card. I thought I had already paid through booking, but when I arrived there, I realized it was not like that. They asked for cash, but I didn’t have enough and they proposed me to the payment through PayPal which without internet was kind of difficult. I had to put together euros, dollar and pesos and they charged me pretty much for the exchange rate. It’s a nice place and the staff is ok, but be prepared and go there with all the pesos that you need because other payments at the end are not an option.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Chilaquiles verdes were amazing! Rubensen was a great addition to our stay-showing us where to snorkel, being pleasant and talkative... Amazing location; saw more stars that I have ever seen
Cons: Food at dinner on our first night was super heavy on the salt. Asked without salt from then on and food was really good the rest of the visit! Was super excited to have a balcony, especially with stars and an almost-full moon, however it seemed unstable and had parts of railing missing. Lastly, there was a bit construction happening to add a deck and pool looks like. Would have loved to be there when finished!

Pros: Great location. Few kilometers outside the village. Perfect for relax on the beach. Next to it is a nice restaurant in walking distance with good food and prices. Beach in front of bungalows is clean and well organized. Beeakfast was very good, with many mexican options to choose from menu.
Cons: We couldn’t „turn off” waves sound in the night

It is a magical place for people looking for a quiet but refined stay away from crowds. Snorkelling paradise especially after a great breakfast (continental and local fare choices).
Cons: Nothing, honestly it's fab.

Cons: No outdoor shower to wash away salt after swimming
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place, nice and spacious accommodation directly on the beach, but not crowded, good breakfast
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Big rooms with tasteful decoration, having the beach only for ourselves, amazing hosts, super good and affordable restaurant
Cons: Sadly the beach is plagued by sargosso like the rest of the coast (it is way better here than in other places though!)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place with great straff!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Balamku Inn. We were welcomed and looked after with hospitality and warmth. The breakfast was sufficient and delicious. If we had any problems with the room or any questions or requests, the hosts were ready to help. Further, we appreciated the ecological aspect of this hotel. The place is out of Mahahual's town center, which we considered an advantage. It was a pleasure to fall asleep and wake up with the sound of the ocean waves!
Cons: I really wouldn't want to complain since we were satisfied with our stay. Maybe it was a bit disappointing that the sea was not calm enough to really enjoy swimming and kayaking on the hotel beach. Of course, it would be lovely to have a restaurant at the hotel but then again, there are other places serving good food close by.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Wasn't warm water, the door knob didn't work in bathroom. Nothing repaired during our visit.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The property location is great if you want to get away from town and enjoy peace and quiet. The staff was excellent always helpful. The coffee in the morning was great!
Cons: All was well except that which the property nor anyone else could control; there was a lot of seaweed on the beach.

Pros: The rooms and beach are great. The breakfast menu and food are an excellent bonus to the stay.

Cons: There were no wardrobes to hang your clothes in.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and big enough for everything we needed, the location is great, the receptionists are nice, and for the cheap price it was a good surprise. Very recommended!
6.7 Good
Pros: Location is great, right next to the beach and town, and the water pressure in the shower was very good. (Tip: if you go to Mahahual, do make sure to eat at the restaurant DiVino - easily the best food in town, with owners who really care about good food).
Cons: Unfortunately, we think the property is a bit moist damaged. Our room had a quite strong smell of mold, and we didn’t have any doors or windows to let in fresh air. This made it unlikely for us to stay there again.

7.1 Good
Pros: We liked the location.. peaceful not crowded.. loved the private beach, the road was a bit too bumpy to get there which made getting in and out into town a pain.. But over all it was great..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely little villa right on the beach. Great rooftop deck for watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A great place for people who love peace, quiet and direct contact with nature. The hosts, who really care about the guests feel good and who immediately fulfill every request. In addition, excellent cuisine and drinks. This is the place where you want to go back.

We had a really nice chat with the owner and fully appreciated that it is sourcing its energy from ecological sources. Very good breakfast as well. If you like calm places, this one will be for you.

6.7 Good
Pros: Location was good, right at the beach! Decent room with a/c. Maybe we were unlucky with ours on the second floor, but our room wasnt the best. The bed was small and made so much noise that every time you turned in your sleep, it woke you up. The a/c was dripping and the air coming from it was smelly. Wifi didnt work on the second floor. Found a lot of long black hairs on the floor around the bed and in the bathroom. We booked a room with sea view but we had to try really hard to see it. Would not stay here again.
Cons: -
5.0 Okay
Pros: Close to everything! Nice building from outside. Nice views from some rooms. Good TV channels.
Cons: Loud music from bar outside kept us awake. WiFi did not work in room. So so beds. Shower was a mystery. Missing one bed table. No elevator. No chair on the balcony.
7.5 Good
Pros: 24h reception, helpful and friendly staff, good location close to the beach, restaurants and supermarkets anyway quiet, good aircon, sweetest cat
Cons: Smell in the room, little bathroom and room itself, rust spots on bedsheets and towels (the cleaning lady told us that it comes from oxidation)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean Friendly staff Great air conditioning Close to beach
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean hotel, friendly, helpful staff. Close to the beach
Cons: Balcony is beach side but the view is blocked by another building. The rooms are small.
6.3 Good
Pros: The balcony has a nice view
Cons: The are no chairs on the balcony, what's the purpose of it then? Also, there is no wifi even though the ad states otherwise. You can be lucky an catch some wifi in the hallway but let's not lie to each other- it is not wifi in the room.
5.8 Okay
Pros: It was possible to get beach towels against a deposit. The owners try to manage the hotel environmentally-friendly and there is a small library that you can consult. The prices are alright for Mahahual.
Cons: There was a horrible smell in the bathrooms which made them barely usable. The matress was inclined to one side so that u had the feeling that u were falling off the bed throughout the night. The rooms were pretty small. Some of the lady staff was just incredibly uninterested, not able to respond to greetings and ignoring the guests by and large. There was no good communal space where one could sit and converse. The AC leaked water drops unto the bed.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at this place for just one night and there was nothing we had to complain about. This place is not very luxury or super comfortable but it has anything you need if you're looking for a clean place to sleep and shower. The location is great as you're down at the nicest beach at Mahahual within 2 minutes.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location and very helpful and friendly staff
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean Quiet Close to the beach0
Cons: Balcony without chairs.

Overview Reviews
When you stay at Koox El Hotelito Beach hotel in Mahahual, you'll be near the beach, a 1-minute drive from Mahahual Beach and 7 minutes from Costa Maya Port. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location, comfortable room and lovely and helpful staff. This place is right on the boardwalk at the opposite end of Mahahual from where the day tourists unload, within walking distance of everything you need. The view of the ocean to the front and the mangroves to the back was wonderful.
Cons: It's a bit inconvenient that they do not offer breakfast or a mini fridge, and the internet was indeed very slow (but that's what I was looking for!); unfortunately the hotel in front of them blocks their view quite a bit but the rooms high enough up have lovely views anyway.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was at the end of the main drag, so this was nice to be away from the hustle bustle. The room was clean, and the beds were comfy.
Cons: There was no safe in the room, and the doors were not airtight.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The comfortable rooms!!
Cons: The switching of resort

Maha Suites and Hostel - Majahual - Building
11
8.1 Excellent (109 reviews)
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Maha Suites and Hostel in Mahahual, you'll be on the beach, a 1-minute drive from Mahahual Beach and 6 minutes from Costa Maya Port. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, luggage storage, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean and modern equipment, comfortable beds, but anonymus athmosphere.
Cons: Anonymus athmosphere, the very slowly electric stove, no hot water for some time (like 30 minutes)
6.7 Good
Pros: The position was great, the staff as well.
Cons: There were no windows in private rooms. The smell of the see weed was horrible. Other hotels cleaned their beaches often but just this one did not. The owner changed us the room for less smelly, if not, it would be difficult for me to remain there during the night. There are common bathrooms and toilets.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Localisation was ok, near ADO and the bus.
Cons: We booked a private room. The room is so small, has no windows, no bathroom, and so noisy. There is a garage just behind and you can hear everything. You have to pay to get towels and shower gels. I understand that when you are in hostels but as a private room which was so expensive I expected a better “treatment”. For what you get... better book the shared bed. Room is so expensive for no comfort at all. Personal is not nice, they don’t care at all. You ask for a restaurant they just tell you “the street behind” not very helpful. They didn’t tell us we need to pay for a card to come back in the hotel after midnight. Fortunately we were back before midnight, otherwise we stay in the street? No good communication and no care. I don’t recommend because it’s was so expensive for that. I don’t mind to pay but I expect something better ;)
7.9 Good
Cons: There is only ONE SHOWER for all men! This is a hostal in front of the sea! For the price, it is not reasonable.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing - outside of the bedroom door you can see the ocean on your doorstep! Walk to the left of the hostel and you will find a much quieter beautiful part of the beach as well :) staff were helpful, the hostel was clean and there is a fridge and small kitchen to use. There’s a big courtyard to sit out the back and on the beachfront side is a delicious smoothie/health food shop!
Cons: A bit of outdoor seating out the front of the beach would be beautiful to sit at night and in the morning, but the smoothie shop is there where you can sit so anyway it’s still nice :)
7.9 Good

Pros: The room was double booked, for which we received an upgrade at the next door hotel Aqua Star incl. Ocean view. It was magical. The room includs a jacuzzi overlooking the ocean. Best restaurant in town is quiet at he end, but worth the nice walk: Nohoch Kay. Best seafood for resonable prices.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great ocean view, big comfortable bed and the best for us was the rooftop jacuzzi. Swing bar in the lobby looked good but we decided to explore the town's other bars instead.
Cons: The beach is beautiful but unfortunately they have a huge sargasso seaweed problem. The smell is very strong as they take it out and it rots but I appreciated the effort they were doing to clean up the beach club as early as 6am.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room spacious clean
Cons: No elevator

7.1 Good
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: The wifi was slow.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Super nice room comfortable and clean. Shared kitchen also super clean. The garden is very pretty ! We had a nice stay there ! Bicycle for free is nice.
Cons: Unfortunately not much interaction with the people at the reception (no information about what to do, where to eat).
7.9 Good
Pros: The room was nice, but not really big. You have a kitchen outside in the garden that you can use. It’s 2mn walk from the beach.
Cons: There is not a real parking, but we could park just in front of the reception... (low season)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This small but charming hostel was very close to the ADO "station" (not clearly indicated). It was very quiet there. I shared a 6-bed-mixed-dorm with two girls who also spoke German which was pure luck! The staff was kind and patient though not fluent in English. The shower was not really strong and sometimes you had to wait a while until the tank of the toilette was filled but overall the accommodation was clean. The locker was spacious and right next to the bed.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location is good Shower was good Air con worked well
Cons: We were grated by 2 giant cockroaches in our bed when we entered the room. The guy at the reception came with a broom and bug spray and killed them. Since he saw my girlfriend was quite upset by the situation he was kind enough to change our room. The other room looked okay but we preferred checking out a day early and move to another place the next morning just to be safe. Also no toilet paper in the toilet. And WiFi works but it will continuously disconnect and reconnect.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Close to main area, restaurants, shops and beach, clean room
Cons: Uncomfortable bed. Not premium bedding. Common area next to room door so I had other guests sitting outside my room. Although they were quiet and went to rooms at decent hr. Still was nice room. I would stay again. Common area would be better where hammocks were and have hammocks outside room instead.
7.1 Good
Pros: The room was okay, we were allowed to switch bunkbeds. No nice atmosphere. Airco only at night.
Cons: The check in was no more than payment. No information or nada. The bikes were horrible. Free, but a 100 pesos deposit.
7.1 Good
Pros: The staff was very friendly
Cons: Due to the seaweed, the whole building smelled really, really bad. However, when closing the windows it got a little better...still quite uncomfortable
6.7 Good
Pros: Friendly Manager
Cons: The rooms do not have any TVs
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostel senora was very warm & welcoming, lizards scamper everywhere across the shady courtyard and their erotic vampire fiction book Master of Fire really got my jugular pumping!
Cons: Nada

Pros: Sea view, roof pool. Room and bath
9.2 Excellent
Pros: 1. Very clean rooms. 2. Attentive staff. 3. Pool is excellent....
Cons: 1. We didn't have access to the TV. 2. No racks or any item to hang our wet clothes.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spacious , comfortable , two bedroomed apartment . Property is on the beach . Breakfast was excellent. Staff were really friendly
Cons: Breakfast service was a little slow but the polite and friendly staff made up for this
6.3 Good
Pros: Has a nice pool
Cons: All in all was a bad experience. We had booked a specific room with booking and upon arrival they gave us a different room without telling us. After i checked our reservation and showed the room i had booked to the receptionist she gave us many reasons why we were not assigned the room we booked including: 1. it was booking.com fault for double booking saying they stoped working with them (not true) 2. the rate of the room we booked was cheaper of the one we wanted (again we had booked the room with booking and it included pictures 3. the room was occupied - was a lie the room upon arrival was EMPTY. Coincidentally it was given to friends of us the NEXT day 4. they had booked that room WAY before we reserved-again our friends did the reservation AFTER!!! We travelled with 2 small children and the room they gave us was On top of the bar. The music was loud and the cleaning lady said music went on until 11 pm! We asked for an other room - and the same receptionist told us music would be turned off at 6pm! Again a LIE!!!!! Why?! The music went on until 11pm! apparently there was nothing to do, it was ALL booking.com fault and i should arrange with them... The next day we packed our bags and left. NEVER again!
5.8 Okay
Cons: Did not get what I paid for. Upon reaching the hotel i was taken to a room which was behind the building and a small bed and bathroom. Obviously i had done my research and what they gace me was a deluxe room. When back downstairs to complain and the girl said, the room given to me is a junior suite. I proceeded to show my reservation details and pictures of the rooms. Her answer was management has already sent updated pictures to search engine because what I have is a junior suite. And i cannot get any sort of refund as booking has already gotten thier comission. I said either I be compenstated in any way or my review will be bad. I booked the junior suite becuase i wanted the jacuzzi. Eventually they moved me to a room that had a private pool and thats about it. Still didnt get what I paid for.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location and installations
Cons: They don’t have a place at the beach to stay during the day
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: No warm welcome. No information or explanation when checking in. Nothing. The staff wasn’t nice at all. All the staff had an bad / negative attitude. Nobody speaks English. They didn’t even bother trying. The room was dirty. Things in the room where broken. At the breakfast you can’t choose. Tea isn’t included. This isn’t a 5 Starr hotel at all. It isn’t even worth 1 star. The worst hotel we have ever been in.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The pool. It was clean.
Cons: No hand towels. Rooms smelled moldy. Bathroom got flooded. The view was not as advertised. Junior suite not really a "suite". The hotel restaurant was subpar; everyone was fighting for two pieces of meat.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The small swimming pool with a sea view was lovely (unfortunately there was sargassum but we still enjoyed the beach). Room was comfortable, clean, good air-conditioning, spacious and with a small balcony. It was very nice to walk along the beach at day and night time. Jesus was very friendly at all times and extremely helpful. They have very good cocktails at the bar!
Cons: It is a shame that the hotel is so new (2017) but absolutely not adapted to wheel chairs. Stairs everywhere and the only two ramps in the hotel are too steep for a wheel chair. I do not recommend the breakfast included in the room rate, it is always the same and very limited. They seemed to have good à la carte options though... And it seems that service is good only when you order à la carte...

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Margarita del Sol Costa Maya in Mahahual, you'll be on the beach, within a 15-minute drive of Mahahual Beach and Surfinggreen. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: the location is amazing (remember that it is a bit secluded from already secluded Mahahual) and the hotel itself is rather clean with great views of the water which is only a few steps away! i thought i'd utilize the pool when the sun went down but it is just OK - it's rather stale. great breakfast included as well and the staff was very nice and courteous. when i was on the beach, he even cut down a coconut for me to drink! they even have a good solid collection of DVDs you can watch at night.
Cons: work on your wifi! it only seems to work in the lobby area. it's 2016 - we need wifi, especially when your website says that wifi is offered.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Nice garden, comfortable bed
Cons: Next to a big construction site (starting 8am at least), small rooms
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property is about 6kms from the town and so is a really quiet place to relax with off street parking, kayaks and a couple of bikes that can be borrowed. Oscars is most solicitous and cooks an excellent breakfast. The night sky is awesome. The beach is pretty good too.
Cons: Nada

7.9 Good
Pros: Susie and Rachel were very helpful. All were very pleasant. Great bed, good fridge, nice to have satellite tv with some English channels, right in front is very good snorkeling if it's NOT windy which makes the water very murky. They lend you safety floats so boats can see you. Nice hammocks on beach in shade and in water too.
Cons: It was not near a $100 Cdn. hotel. Older building of below average quality. Everything was basic. 1st coffee maker had no filter and was filthy. They gave us a much better one when I asked. Bottom sheet was torn right where you lie. we had to get it changed right away. A needless hassle for guests. We can't tip a maid who prepares a room for guests like that. Only 1 bedside lamp with broken switch and very poor light. We were surprised by the 4% fee for credit card after we had paid. It should be mentioned in booking.com listing. We would have paid cash if we knew.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved this hotel, when we arrived we were greeted with the utmost professionalism and kindness. Susy and renata were a great host and went above and beyond expectations. The facilities were right on the beach and a great location, close to town but far enough from all the rowdy tourists.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, nice people and helpful.
7.9 Good
Pros: I like the service provided from the staff members they were very friendly and assisted in all they could.
Cons: There was no television in my room but apart from that the room was good.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect for those who want to get off the malecon, the boardwalk in Mahahuel, and yet be close to the action. A five minute walk gets you to the malecon. Staff was friendly and happy to help out with a few requests.
Cons: The pillows are rubbish.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very helpful and we really enjoyed being served breakfast on the beach
Cons: The water pressure of shower to clean off the sand from the beach wasn’t very good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Yes, you do have a pool...but you failed to mention its a kiddie size pool. And the fact that multiple families and /or guests won't fit all at the same time due to its size, etc.
Cons: Beach access was perfect. However, you slightly exaggerated about your pool, which was one of the essential features we wanted during our stay.
7.9 Good
Pros: Loved the beach and snorkelling and use of the kayaks in the sea. We felt we were the right side of town (away from the port) so the bars and restaurants were quieter. The hotel had bikes we could use to cycle into town
Cons: Ideally would have liked a better/bigger pool
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: The toilets did not have toilet seats. The pool was green. The beachfront was not kept clean.
6.3 Good
Pros: It was quiet around the property and in the beach.
Cons: No breakfast service was offered. No credit card payment. Wifi doesn´t work in the room.

Cons: The property is beach front in a relaxing atmosphere, staff is friendly, definitely a place where I will return. Breakfast included is an added bonus in a town that has limited offers
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and comfy room with a big bathroom. Lady behind the reception was also very nice and arranged a room for us when we arrived before the official check-in time.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room big space. Clean. Confortable. Very nice stay The restaurant good prices and good food. The view from the restaurant. Great service. Breakfast nice to be sitting in front of the sea.
Cons: The beach area is not the best. Very better few minutes walk from the hotel No water available to fill bottle. Need to ask the bar but they provide free without issue
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything great!!!.... love to stay here....
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A lovely hotel with a nice restaurant. Originally we were assigned a room which was quite crampy and enclosed, looking into the inner patio. For a higher fee, they then transferred us to a lovely room with its own private terrace on the top floor, overlooking the beach. This was top notch, I recomend these rooms for sure. We rented bikes right in front of the hotel, so could cycle around. Hotel is not right in the centre of town, which is actually better, as a little quieter, and away from all the cruise visitors of the town.
Cons: Had an unpleasant discussion with the manager upon checking in, as they wouldnt honour the discount made on booking.com for the newly upgraded room, except if we paid by cash. Even though the payment online had been made using credit card. This put us in a scramble to find cash, as there are not many ATMs in town...
4.6 Okay
Pros: Room was nice
Cons: Seeweads all around The hotel, whole place is a missunderstanding
4.0 Okay
Cons: Room full of ants AC was not working properly the sea weed was strong with no beach to use due to all the sea weed only stayed one night.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We loved the terrace/balcony by our room (ocean view) Staff was very friendly!

7.5 Good
Pros: The price was pretty nice and the breakfast was really good.
Cons: The hotel could probably not do a lot about it but the smell of seaweed was really bad.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: No hot water. Had to ask for towels. Noisy aircon. Breakfast abysmal. Very disappointed.
4.6 Okay
Cons: When we arrived at the hotel it smelled so bad that it burnt in the nose I believe the smell came from the sea perhaps from the fishing boats, the beachfront was very dirty not what it looks like on the pictures, we tried to eat there but it was impossible with the smell because the restaurant is outside, so in the room it was liveable we got up early morning and left. The location of the hotel is not good it's in the fishing area not worth the money
6.3 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: Facilities
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing, worst accommodation we had in Mexico.
Cons: Dirty room, repairman till 23:00, unfriendly staff and a tasteless breakfast.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The only good thing about this place I could say it’s the breakfast, everything else was poor, the walls, curtains and bathroom were old or worn out. There are cheaper places and u get the same.
Cons: The staff was ok but not excellent.. we spend one night without tv because it was broken, at the bar there was only beer or soda, in fact the place was old, no safe-deposit box, bad furniture outdoor
5.0 Okay
Pros: Within walking distance from the malecon, beach and restaurants.
Cons: Breakfast was not very appealing - burnt toast and soggy fruit. Actual property (rooms, private beach etc) are misrepresented on the internet postings. White towels had beige stains when we checked in but the manager changed them. Water in the shower was bizarre, alternating between a drip and then a sudden, short burst of water, then a drip. There is a bar on the property close to the rooms and the drinking, loud talking and singing struck up at nightfall and went on way til mid-night. Seems management is the real issue - the poor lady at the front desk seems to be dish-water, laundry and maid!!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room, comfortable beds, good shower, and great view from balcony. Location was fine and breakfast was great!
Cons: The lack of sockets while a bedside table with a little bedside lamp would have been nice too.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing at all I’ve been staying in hundreds of hotel in my life and I’ve never experienced such a nightmare
Cons: - Towels and shits of the bed very dirty (including many hair) without mentioning that they forgot to put the towels in a first time. - staff quietly seating at the bar listening to music instead of working on requests - staff turning on the music from 7 in the morning !!!! (Best alarm ever) - beach not conform to the photo AT ALL. Nobody would ever consider to swim there ! Moreover, what we can’t see on booking’s pictures is that all the fisherman’s boats are parked 50 m away for the “beach”, I let you imagine the smell, especially while having breakfast ... - the walls of the room were partially damaged

Pros: We just loved this hotel. The design, the location the staff, the rate all fantastic. So good in fact that we are planning a return visit for a couple of days before returning to our native country Australia.
