Black Horse Park is an historic 1850s property, located on 20 acres of pasture in the Boorolite Valley of the Victorian High Country. All bed linen and towels are provided and parking for your boat is available. If you are bringing your horse, it can stay for $10 per night, otherwise, horses and guides are available for your stay. The Elm Cabin is fully self-contained and has its own enclosed yard in the front and rear. The cabin also has reverse-cycle air-conditioning, a 32-inch LED TV and a fully equipped kitchen. The Pin Oak Chapel has been renovated and includes a drying area for your wet gear in snow season. Both the cabin and the chapel have tea, coffee, juice, bread, eggs, milk and other breakfast condiments included. The property is enriched with age old European oak and elm trees and is close to the Mansfield State Forest. It is 10 minutes' drive from Goughs Bay and 15 minutes' drive from Mansfield Township and Macs Cove, Howqua Inlet and Jamieson. Mount Buller is 20 minutes' drive away. Guests staying at Black Horse Park can pack a picnic lunch and take a leisurely drive to the King Valley wine region, stopping at Powers Lookout along the way. The area caters for snow skiing and snow boarding at Mount Buller, fishing or swimming at the Delatite River or horse riding in the Mansfield State Forest. You can also go mountain biking or cycling at the rail trail. Bicycles and helmets are available for hire.
