The atmosphere is fun being in the middle of town and having a balcony with nice seating. The décor is great, very antique looking and good quality. It is very clean and cared for. All good fixtures in the bathroom without modernizing the look. There was a little hiccup with internet access but it was addressed quickly and pleasantly. They are restoring the first level with a saloon that looks like it will be a great place and a venue for shows. I would recommend it for groups of friends to meet, enjoy the area and hang out on the balcony. Steps! There is no easy way to get up and it is a steep stairway. I sat on the balcony imagining people who had been drinking and partying managing the steps. Also, there was a step down to our balcony and a step back up to our room. We were offered help carrying our luggage up tho. But I wasn't aware of any alternative exit in case of fire and it is a wood frame old building. (thought of that during the night!). Hopefully this will be addressed as they continue to develop the place.
The rooms were very clean and spacious. The beds and the pillows were comfortable and we appreciated having a refrigerator in the room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the complimentary breakfast the next morning was fresh and plentiful. This hotel was perfect for an overnight stay. Very reasonable.
Location Not clean, old,no hot water for showers
The TV worked. The AC worked. The mattress didn't smell and was comfortable enough. I wasn't expecting much for the price. I was expecting hot water however, and unfortunately there was none. The shower and sink had lukewarm water at best, and it took more than ten minutes just to get it.
Not much Mostly everything, rat trap, crack head hotel!
Charming decor in the theme room, helpful staff. Like most hotels in PdC it is near to the railroad tracks with trains passing constantly. Room did smell faintly of smoking.
Location Room was haphazardly fixed up to look good.
We had a family emergency and were unable to use the room. When we called the gentlemen, he was the rudest person. I am a retired Customer Service Mgr and did not appreciate this type of treatment. We gladly forfeited, no one deserves that!!!!
The room was great. The trains sounded like thunder and woke me at least twice.

Hot tub in the room. First walked in and Spider in hot tub drain overflow. First morning spider on wall by coffee pot. A little dusty. They knew room was rented for weekend you think they would have dusted furniture.
The front desk guy was awesome. Very friendly and helpful😠No.
Staff was excellent and were very kind and helpful as we arrived late yet my family received our rooms quickly so they could get their over tired children into bed right away. The only issue I had was of their aged CRT type TV's. Would believe these days that they would be flat panels yet we didn't spend time in the hotel to watch tv yet their free WiFi made up for the lack of flat panel TV's.
COMFORT AND GREAT HOT TUB AND POOL CARPET DATED AND WRINKLED IN LOBBY. UNDER STAFFED WHEN HOTEL WAS FULL. COULD ADD MORE ITEMS TO CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST - FRUIT, OATMEAL THE GUY AT THE FRONT DESK NEEDS TO SLOW HIS SPEECH - TALKS WAY TOO FAST.. SHOWER HEAD SQUEELED - ANNOYING.
Staff were efficient, friendly and professional. Surroundings were very very clean. Could use an update.
there was no cold water in the shower. no matter where I put the handle it was still very hot. the room was dusty like no one dusted for awhile. remote for tv doesn't work well. no microwave or coffee pot in room.
The location is very nice, not too far from activities, yet a quiet area. There is a great restaurant next door for evening dining, which is convenient. The pool area was very clean and the water temperature was perfect, great hot tub as well. The beds were very uncomfortable, both queen beds in our room had mattresses that sagged. We, family of 5, ended up with sore backs after the weekend.
Overall a pretty good place to stay. When I arrived I found that they already had my paperwork pulled up and ready including room keys activated. I was literally at the front desk 2 mins and was checked in a ready to go. Located on the main strip where all the dining options are so easy to find some place to eat. Huckleberrys just down the street is a great eating option. Walmart is just a block down so nice if you find you forgot something. Pool was clean and large enough for a nice swim and hot tub was spacious and hot, nice outside patio area. Breakfast was okay. Only hot option was waffle maker. Would be nice if they at least added instant oatmeal, muffins or yogurt. Otherwise if is cold cereal, toast, bagels, bananas, apples or rubbery chocolate covered donuts. Upgrading to better donuts would even be a plus.
The breakfast could have been expanded a little more, both in terms of the times available and their selections.
It was just a nice place overall. Quiet rooms. Decent breakfast. Just nice!
Location Showed at time of booking that there were only 5 rooms left, we booked 2. Hotel was practically empty that night. Don't offer any discounts. There were bleach stains in the carpet and old nacho cheese sauce stuck on the refrigerator.
The staff was pleasant. The pool and hot tub were clean. Way overpriced. This should have been axxx hotel, not xxx. Rooms were outdated.
