Pros: Very nice hotel maintained by the owner with heart for guest and business. Very clean and rooms make a modern impression yet giving a cosy feeling due to all the wood. Great breakfast buffet with all the best of regional products.
Pros: Very clean & tidy with modern fittings. Bedrooms are spacious. The hotel looks like it is brand new it is so clean. Very good breakfast with plenty of choice. Staff very friendly, helpful & generous.
Pros: The hotel was beautiful
Cons: I was double charged for my room, however, when I brought it to their attention I was reimbursed. I also feel the restaurant prices were very high for the location. $90 Euro for two.
Pros: Modern and rustic in the same time. Very quiet and good breakfast.
Cons: We found a family of 3 spiders on the wall and on the balcon we saw spiderweb. Also the Wi-Fi was not so good and the TV channels were only in German.
Pros: Fantastic host. Great food at the in house restaurant and at breakfast. Great athmosphere.
Pros: Everything was awesome, except two points above. Clean rooms, new equipments, nice service.. I will return to this hotel for sure!
Cons: The only two things for me was the mattresses and WiFi. Mattresses were with springs and very used, so I woke up with sore back every morning. Wifi was unusable at all.
Pros: Beautiful family room hotel, farm and restaurant. Friendly staff and great food all at a good price.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind
Pros: It worked out great for us. Nice and spacious, good breakfasts, and it had elevators.
Pros: Great little spot. Very kind staff, great german breakfast.
Pros: The three of us were visiting Friedrichshafen for an exhibition and our stay at this hotel added a great deal to our enjoyable adventure. It is a very nice family hotel. We felt very welcomed from the start to the end. Value for money it was perfect for us. The rooms are very pleasant, comfortable and spotlessly clean The breakfast was just right and small thing that our scrambled eggs freshly cooked were perfect. The restaurant has that classic German cosy warm feel and of course the food was very good. We took the small country roads to Friedrichshafen through beautiful countryside. Would definitely book this hotel again with no hesitation.
Cons: Nothing, it was perfect for us.

Pros: Really nice boutique hotel
Pros: Quiet area, good breakfast
Cons: Had to walk to town for dinner
Pros: newly renovated rooms, nice and spacey, good breakfast, storage room and electricity for the bikes in the garage
Cons: the reception by the young owner was a bit on the cold side. Had to fill in a sheet with all my details despite booking via booking.com and was told that it's not allowed to charge the batteries of the bikes in the rooms, he stressed he did not want that.
Pros: The first big noticeably impressive thing was our welcome from Andreas the owner on our arrival. A geniune warmth, great fun kindness. Unlike any other we received on our German trip. Couldn't do enough to make our stay even more enjoyable. Even went to great lengths to sort out our wifi and bath problem issues. His restaurant suggestions were better than what I'd already planned for our evenings. One out of the way typically German restaurant was pure heaven. Beautifully located in utter silence beside the early part of the Danube and inspectacular geography. Great bedroom and washing facilities and a fabulous bath fit for my wife and nice views beyond the hotel. Room staff very warm, funny and friendly. Would definitely go back if the town of Sigmaringen was on our tour list.
Cons: One negative, which seemed common in many of our hotel stays was the type of pillows used. Very odd configurations and no additional ones available to add to the ones already on the beds, which were huge by the way. Not ideal when celebrating your 25th wedding anniversary.
Pros: Hotel is renovated, comfortable, clean. Breakfast was enough and tasty. The owner gave me a courtesy ride to the train station in the morning, as the closest walking way to the station was under construction. This was extremely nice of him.
Cons: Location is a bit away from the centre, but it is in 8-10 min walking distance. Room temperature was too hot for sleeping, but I did not find air conditioning, if such existed. Window opening helped a bit.
Pros: Reception was really great . Owner/Manager went out of his way with helpful information and overall great attitude. Made you happy that you were staying there . Great bike storage available. On the bike trail. A bit out of town with some distance to restaurants . Room was very clean with dynamic color schemes on beds and bathroom . Coffee, tea, hot chocolate available all day at no charge. Other drinks are available on honor basis in lobby. Breakfast was good and plentiful.
Pros: The styling of this hotel is exquisite... very Teutonic. Spotless clean, very cool lighting both outside and inside the room. The breakfast was very good. Furnishing excellent and smoking fast Internet access. The host was very cordial and spoke excellent english.
Cons: I can't think of anything I did not like.
Pros: Superbly furnitured and renovated. Owner and staff going the extra mile for customer satisfaction. Lots of small, invaluable details, like exhileratilngly funny faces drawn on the morning eggs and free hot drinks available in the evenings. Will definitely come back to Hotel Jägerhof on my next business trips to Sigmaringen.
Cons: Can't think of anything what could have been better.
With a stay at Hotel Donaublick in Scheer, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Sigmaringen Castle and Golf Club Sigmaringen Zollern-Alb. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: The internet connection
Pros: Catered to cyclists
Pros: The stuff of the hotel were very friendly, polite and helpful. The rooms were very clean.
Cons: Shower was in poor condition. During early morning hours the hotel was really noisy and the cleaning service wanted to clean the room at 7:30 am.
Pros: Modern clean hotel with the restaurant next door. Friendly staff. Honesty bar. Good parking. Good value for money.
Pros: This is the one of the Best places to stay in! Very personal... We were more than happy and will come soon again!
Cons: Everything perfect! Congratulations!
Pros: *) Location is great! *) Room, bathroom was clean and no remarks. *) We traveled with baby and they fullfil all my requests from reservation form. Cot was there as promised. *) Calm and no noise during night. *) Breakfast was great. *) By the way I lost my phone in hotel and I realized after my trip. I sent them message and they found my phone and sent me via post my phone back to home address. This is excelent service and all what matter! Thanks!
Pros: In a convenient quiet location. Clean & tidy, generous sized room.
Pros: Great clean room and breakfest. Nice to get beer / coffee in the garden!
Cons: A bit hard to find. Restaurant just next to it was closed.
Pros: Location outside the village on the roadside but quiet and with a large car park. Reception was friendly and efficient and bedroom and bathroom were both large, light and stylish with comfortable sitting area. Large restaurant immediately alongside but , though it looked excellent, was closed on Thursdays and Fridays and on those evenings there is a small Stube serving a restricted menu in an attractive traditional style decor with large shared tables. Excellent breakfast.
Opposite Mengen's old EDTM military airport, this hotel offers soundproofed rooms with free Wi-Fi and free parking. The privately run Hotel Zum Fliegerwirt provides bright rooms with satellite TV and modern bathrooms. Most rooms have a terrace. The Fliegerwirt provides a healthy breakfast buffet each morning. In summer, this is served on the hotel terrace. Sights near the Hotel Zum Fliegerwirt include Schloss Sigmaringen palace, just a 25-minute drive away.
Pros: Having your own patio area to enjoy
Pros: Really great place with fantastic staff. Wish they had some English channels on the TV but everything else was first class. Would recommend 110%
Cons: TV had no english channels. Not even news.
Pros: Comfortable, clean and quiet room. Attentive and very nice staff. Good breakfast.
Cons: Somewhat remote location, but very quiet and comfortable once you are there.
Pros: Helpful and friendly staff, excellent restaurant, comfortable and very clean
Cons: Nothing all excellent
Pros: Great overnight stay as driving through countryside. Super clean, charming and comfortable. The staff are extremely helpful.
Pros: Fantastic girl on reception and in the restaurant when we arrived absolutely first rate, made us feel totally at home. Excellent accommodation for our cycles wonderful food in the restaurant great beds.
Cons: Breakfast could have been better, a scrambled egg is not a fried egg, which is what I was asked if I wanted and chose. It’s also weird sitting with someone you haven’t met before for breakfast.
Pros: Stayed at hotel Engel for second time already. Staff is friendly and the rooms are spacy with comfortable bed. Breakfast is good German standard with nice coffee and multiple choices for drinks. Wifi has decent speed and signal.
Cons: The only negative is the town bell opposite to this Hotel. It rings about every 15-30 minutes, up until approx. 8-9 PM. But this is not the hotel's fault.
Pros: I had a good time, the room was OK, clean and fairly big. Breakfast was good, the hotel was with nice and helpful staff. No bothering, no actual problems.
Cons: The hotel is close to local church that bells fairly often and basically half the windows in whole hotel are situated in this direction. Personally I could sleep well, but not necessary OK for everyone. Parking spots were not always free, but 100m from the hotel is another parking.
Pros: Very nice family run hotel in the heart of the southern Black Forest region. There is an excellent restaurant and beer garden on the premises, and as this hotel is in a tiny village we found it easiest to relax on their outdoor patio and have dinner there. The breakfast was also excellent and the staff was exceptionally nice and attentive. We loved our stay here !
Cons: Honestly there wasn't much we didn't like!
Cons: No fridge in room.
Pros: Owner, staff, bar, rooms, everything
Boasting a shared lounge and a restaurant, Mattiello's Mengen is set in Mengen. At the hotel, all rooms include a desk and a flat-screen TV. With a private bathroom fitted with a shower and a hairdryer, rooms at Mattiello's Mengen also have free WiFi. Meersburg is 46 km from the accommodation, while Überlingen is 39 km from the property. The nearest airport is Friedrichshafen Airport, 55 km from Mattiello's Mengen.
Pros: A well appointed, nice spacious room and large bathroom which was so much better than the generally dark oppressive photos on the booking site.
Cons: The wifi was a major let down I had to stand in the hallway to get any sort of connection and then it was barely working.
Pros: Perfect for bicycle riders on the EV6.
Pros: Very polite staff. Extremely clean and spacious room. Great tasty food in the restaurant. The presence of a spacious room for gathering friends, equipped with a large flat-screen TV, coffee maker, hot water jug, and so on.
Cons: Insufficient parking spaces.
Pros: Very friendly landlady, showed us the room quickly as she was busy opening up the restaurant. 35€/person for a suite? You find hostels with bunkbeds that are more expensive. A small living room with a rather big flatscreen with internet access (netflix, youtube, etc.), big bathroom with a spacious shower, generous bedrooms with comfy beds (each with additional wall-mounted tv's, satellite channels) - theres even a cute entry area, a nice spot to drink your morning coffee (which you can get for free in the common room, just next to the suite). What's more to ask? It's very central, you reach the main road of the town just by stepping out (even that Mengen is not that large after all). If we ever stay in the region again, we'll make sure to come by again! A big shoutout to the friendly italian family who runs this place! Grazie mille!
Cons: Nothing noticeable.
Pros: We had a suite with two bedrooms, the suite itself was modern, clean and in a boutique style. Overall a very nice experience in a lovely town and I would highly recommend.
Cons: The hotel and restaurant only accept cash, no card payments are available.
Pros: I really like this place. It is clean and nice. Bed is super comfty. The bathroom is beautiful.
Pros: Very helpful lady owner help store our bikes in the garage. Room was spotless and had a boutique feel. Good separate shared sitting room. Lovely cafes down the road for breakfast.
Cons: We didn’t notice the room was not available until 5pm when we booked.
Pros: Neat rooms The object is located on the central street of the town Nice service Indoor courtyard parking
Cons: WiFi was not working. Shower without door and toilet with wobble. Water is not good in the toilet The sink crane runs through the edges
Pros: Would not stay here again.
Cons: Too noisy. Street below has huge traffic noise from 5pm to midnight. And construction noise starts at 5am. A hot day and no air conditioning or ceiling fans. Had window open and kids threw beverage bottles into the room from the street below. Not an enjoyable stay.
Pros: OWNER CARED. RANG US ON TRAIN TO SEE WHERE WE WERE. OUR TRAIN WAS LATE AND WE MISSED CONNECTION. ONE HOUR LATE. HAD STAFF MEET US OUTSIDE HOTEL, CARRY BAGS UP ONE FLIGHT OF STAIRS. GREAT ROOM.
Cons: NOTHING TO DISLIKE

Pros: Very comfortable room, excellent service, superb beer in the bar
Cons: Staff was not that friendly. People drinking beer outside the room until midnight.
Pros: The on-site restaurant was family friendly and had outstanding food. Although the host spoke limited English, he was very responsive to our requests. Our waitress enjoyed practicing her English with us and an English menu was provided. The room suite for four people was stylish and well appointed.
Cons: All was wonderful. We can't think of anything to improve. We would definitely come again!
Pros: What a lovely place, with plenty of character. Whole hotel has been renovated so the rooms are high quality and mine was a very good size. The owners were really helpful. They have a secure garage for you to keep your bike in overnight if you are cycling the Danube Cycle Route. Really nice meal and drinks. Would definitely stay here again.
Pros: The hotel is in a nice quiet place. Clean and big room with comfortable bed. The breakfast was nothing fancy but fairly OK.
Cons: The personal doesnt speak English very well, so I had issues with communications. Also the wi-fi connection was really bad. I could barely download some emails, let alone load any newspaper site...
Pros: Otherwise everything was excellent and the Adler bier super!!
Cons: It's a personal thing, I hate soft pillows.
Pros: Clean, spacious room. Good value accommodation & food in on site restaurant. Local beer was very good & fantastic value. Staff very helpful.
Pros: Manager was extremely well organised and seemed to managed the hotel and restaurant and bar extremely efficiently. Beer and food were excellent.
Pros: The hotel is very clean and very well maintained. Dinner is perfect very tasty. The service is kind and helpfull. Feel like home. Rooms have good hotel standards. They made beer by their own - they are a browery - I advice to try Export one - also all cosmetics are made from beer haha like beer shower gel etc - great idea and great quality and smell :-) I didn’t taste it :-)
Cons: The bed materace might be a bit softer to put even higher score
Pros: It was a vey nice place with very helpful staff. They can speek only german, but try to understand everybody. They have two hungarian person is their team, it was very nice to met with them. The rooms are clean and well equipped. We spent a very tasteful dinner there, and try their own beer. I can recommend this place with satisfaction. :)

Pros: Fantastic steak restaurant
Cons: Shower wasn't very well done
Pros: Room was clean and well decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was very good.
Cons: WIFI was very unpredictable. there were two log in`s. One had no internet access and the other one had very poor connection. could be improved.
Pros: The hotel is really great! Everything was fine. The only thing is that heating was not working properly... But luckily still enough to warm up the room.
Pros: This is rather restaurant with few rooms, than hotel with restaurant, what may have some benefits for you.
Cons: Room was rather cold. Heating was running on low steam regardless of settings.
Pros: The room was fine - a good size and very clean There was a garage for bikes ( we were cycling the Donau Radweg. The breakfast was good.
Cons: The hotel looks as if it needs a make-up over. The dining room is gloomy. It was very noisy at night.
Pros: The mixed grill from the steakhouse was more than enough for three and was excellent.
Pros: all good.
Pros: The convenience and breakfast
Cons: There was no one there for check in at noon but a phone took care of that
Pros: The boss was very very nice. I would give 20/10 to this hotel. Wonderbar
Cons: all was more than perfect
Cons: I liked everything

Pros: Excellent location, close to restaurants and the Schloss. Secure storage for bikes in a locked container about 50 metres from hotel. Pleasant comfortable room.
Pros: The lady of the house went out of her way to ensure we had a good dinner
Pros: The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The location was just next to the cycle path. Storing bikes was so easy. Short walk to city centre. Breakfast very good. Value for money. Very happy with our stay at Eichamt.
Pros: The property is opposite a pubic car park
Cons: Very ordinary room at the top of a buiding....suit a young backpacker
Pros: Location was perfect
Cons: No AC and it was hot. This is probably infrequent.
Pros: Good location, secure bicycle storage, comfortable, clean, good for cyclists. It was pretty much a check yourself in arrangement.
Cons: Including breakfast in the tariff would be more attractive.
Pros: This hotel is in a good location just below the main town. It has a lively bar/restaurant downstairs.
Cons: The rooms are on the basic side and the beds could be better. Overall good value though.
Pros: Is a virtual hotel as there are no staff on site. The front door has a message on it and there is an instruction sheet in the room, but all in German only, so if you don’t speak German you are on your own. The upper rooms are up 4 flights of stairs with no elevator. If you are aged or have heavy bags, don’t stay here unless you can be assured you are in one of the lower rooms.
Pros: Very good location, private, comfy.
Cons: You could smell the downstairs restaurant in the room during dinner, good smells though.
