Good breakfast and comfortable room. Television channels were weird
The King Suite Nope

It could use a remodel.
staff, breakfast, no hot tub, pool not heated, toilet flushed so loud it wakes everyone up
Breakfast was good I booked my room and got the confirmation only to be called and told the hotel was over booked. Then I'm told I can check in the following morning since there was an error in my booking. I go to the hotel and hey say NO check in until 3pm.
Proximity to Interstate Cheese omelets

Breakfast was awesome! Room was comfortable!
I liked the location and comparatively reasonable rates. Some of the staff were friendly, although most unresponsive to problems incurred. Waited for a long while to check in (check-in process took 35 minutes+), even after calling for reservations several weeks in advance. The front desk was understaffed, while knowing that it was a big booking day (Blue Angels Performance). When I got to my room, I found obvious urine on the seat of the bathroom stool. Went to the phone to call the front desk, and the phone didn't work. Had to walk down to the front desk to tell them of the problems, and had to wait in line another half hour simply to be told that "Sorry, we are very busy and will put your needs on the long list." And yet, I was a paying customer who spent 10 hours driving, and just wanted to use the bathroom in the room I had already paid for. Left for four hours, and upon my return these items were fixed. When I pulled down the bedspread to sleep, it appeared that the sheets had not been changed ( wrinkled in a bunch near the center of the bed). Fortunately, it was a double room, so I was able to sleep in the other bed which didn't look so bad. Then the neighbors with multiple children staying in their room started in. They were loud and inconsiderate. I walked back to the front desk and politely requested a room change, and was told they had none left. Once again the only real response I received was the typical " Sorry" which by this time began to sound like "Your tough luck". Went back into my room to take a long awaited shower. looked up to see black mold on the bathroom ceiling.Where I come from, this is considered quite detrimental to a person's health. But what could I do? They were fully booked as were all other hotels in the area because of the air show. So I grab a towel for the towel rack, and a big ole cockroach jumps out. I scream, throw the towel to the floor and kill the insect. This time, I tried calling the front desk to at least have the smashed insect removed, but no one answered the phone. So. I went down the next day to get more towels and report the incident. The front desk attendant went back to the back three times, bringing our washcloths, bath mats, and hand towels for me to use after a shower. I explained that I was in need of BATH towels and none of the items he was bringing out would work. He calls someone else who disappears into the laundry room for about 5 min. and finally brings out two bath towels. Another insincere "Sorry" followed. By this time I'm tired, aggravated, and just want a shower Went back to the room, showered, dried my hair, etc., then comes the front desk guy knocking on the door with the towels I had requested over an hour before. It didn't end there, either! The last night of my four night stay, the keys didn't work leaving me to carry the bags I had with me all the way to the front desk. I commented to the new front desk attendant that incidents were occurring every day, and this was supposed to be a leisurely vacation for me. She told me she would report this to a manager. Never heard from on.
Room was quite nice, had very comfy sheets and the shower was even better! Water temperature was everything and more, breakfast wasn't as bad what you would think either. Overall my stay was worth the money. The sink knob was broken when I came in. Other than that, good hotel and nice staff.
Location right next to I-10, clean hotel, continental breakfast, non-smoking room. Good hotel, perfect for long way drivers. The guy in the front desk was not as nice as expected in a hotel. He didn't know that a fast food restaurant across the street was open at some time of night and we had to discover it by ourselves. He needs to know more about the hotel surroundings.
We'd mistakenly arrived at the wrong Quality Inn and the receptionist was accommodating and understanding. She called all the other Quality Inns in the area to find the one we had booked.Upon arriving at the correct motel the receptionist there again proved helpful and changed our rooms to a ground floor for easier access.
Big rooms, comfortable bed, balconies were a nice touch, staff very courteous and friendly. No elevator, loooong hallways, idiots setting off fireworks at 1:00 AM.
Good price Bed was very used, room was musty and didn't get cleaned
Old and outdated rooms. Killed a brown recluse spider in bathroom
The staff was very friendly and this hotel is in a very safe environment. Pensacola beach is only 16 miles away. I'll definitely be coming back
Good location and fair price. Very friendly staff
The location wasn't too far from anything. The beach was a nice 20 minute drive along the bay. Downtown was a 10 minute or less drive. The breakfast was good. The staff was really nice and friendly. The lady at the front desk even have us some air freshener b/c the room had a little stuffy smell. We would stay again. The beds were hard. The double queen beds was more like two full size beds. Although the hotel is on the bay, you can not see it from any of the rooms.
Clean room and great breakfast Too many kids in the pool.
I hadn't had that good night's sleep in a long time. I have arthritis. In the morning I wasn't stiff or sore and felt well rested. Location was confusing. A lot going on at the same place.
The location is convenient, the beds were comfortable Booked 7 nights for vacation. 5 nights and 4 rooms later ... The first room was very damp and smelled like mildew. It had a broken down dehumidifier in the corner of the closet. On day 2 I moved to a nicer room, but the TV didn't work. The maintenance guy got it working (the maids apparently pull the wires and the electrical splitter ends up half unplugged). A 2nd visit from maintenance got the cable TV working (it too had wires that had been pulled out). Both rooms had bathroom doors that were physically larger than the door holes, so they could not. E closed. Don't expect any privacy when using the bathroom! After 3 nights in room #2 the hotel asked me to move again to avoid expected noise (the cable company was rewiring a portion of the hotel since the cable didn't work.) They forgot to save me a room, so when I came back at the end of the day they didn't have any more king beds available. The first room they gave me had a non-working desk lamp. They gave me the next room over, but its bedside lamp didn't work. (My whole vacation was beach and a safe comfortable place to read - so a working lamp didn't seem to much to ask for.) When I went back to the lobby I saw the Operations Manager, Matt, who oversaw several hotels for one owner. He tried switching light bulbs on the desk lamp in the first room but that didn't work. Then we tried replacing bulbs in the 2nd room. That worked. The tv didn't work - but I knew how to fix it based on the earlier room. After he left I realized that there was a puddle in the bathroom coming from a leak in the ceiling. I went back to the lobby to ask to be moved again the next day. On morning 5, Matt moved me to the America's Best Inn next door, which he manages and which had just been renovated. That room was nice until I found the bedbugs.... I didn't expect the Baymont Inn to be the Four Seasons, but I did expect a safe and comfortable place to stay. Shame on the owners and on Wyndham for such poor management.
Nothing!! Not one thing. The property was rundown and the clints were low life drug users that had me up looking out at my car all night!! They kept walking around outside talking loud and talking bad language.
It was extremely loud, we were placed in a room with no cable and when asked to correct the situation they said "ohhh I forgot we weren't suppose to book anyone in this room." The room wasn't very well cleaned and do to construction at the hotel it was difficult to park and too loud to rest. Would not stay there again.
Pleasantly surprised! Found this deal online. Very close to restaurants (you can walk). We had a king bed (comfy) microwave, and fridge. I will definitely come back! Could update the bathroom.
Good location Cockroaches in bathroom
The towels were clean. The roaches that met us inside the door, the dirty unchanged sheets, the dirty bathtub, the filthy, crusted baseboard. I took pictures of the filthy bathroom and am sending them to the corporate office to ask if anyone there would spend the night in this room.
Staff very nice and accomadating . Beds very soft and comfortable, all your needs while a short stay. I would stay again and recommend if anyone is visiting Fort Myers.Loved the home style patio with rocking chairs made it feel more homier. Breakfast is average but standard for most free breakfast at hotels.need more fruit and meat?
I can't complain. My room was clean and stocked. Looked just like the picture online.
All outside rooms. Old hotel needs updating. Too expensive for what was there
Clean new remodeled room good for 1 night pass through stay Bathroom could be cleaner
Not too far from the beach Hotel needs an update
We loved the modern look of the rooms.
Convenient to the airport Friendly staff Good breakfast I reserved a king room but ended up with a double queen that was also a pet friendly room ,I was not traveling with pets. I turned down a queen room for a cheaper rate because I wanted a king bed. This room cost the same as the king ,I reserved thru hotels.com which was non refundable the manager did comp us a couple of drinks at the bar. I think I'll stay somewhere else next time
Easy check in Pleasant staff Clean comfortable room Breakfast buffet No one at the counter to check out early in the morning (6:00 am) Just had to drop the key cards on the desk and go didn't have time to wait . I can see a potential problem with that. Maybe put a secure box there if there won't be anyone at the desk at that time
The Blue Angel Inn looked like it was brand new. Everything was shiny and clean. The room was roomy enough for the 2 of us and the carpet looked like we were the first to walk on it. The bathroom was very nice if a tad small, but plenty of counter space for both of us. Bed and linens were very comfortable.
Clean, nice staff, nice breakfast, close from the place we were goin to!
Liked the Naval air musuam
Close to freeway, bathrooms and room clean, staff friendly. If staying more than one night, the beds are hard and not comfortable, unless you like hard beds. Also our room had a leak coming from second floor bath, so the carpet outside our bathroom was soaked everyday. Nothing we couldn't live with and hopefully getting fixed.
The bed was nice and the TV worked properly The room was dirty and some aspects were dated and needed replacing
The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They even provided a nice continental breakfast. The staff was helpful if a guest did not know how t d something NA
Staffs were very friendly and professional. Always greeted you with a smile. The king size bed was comfortable. The ice maker by our room didn't work so we had to go to the other building. And the pillows were very old and not comfy at all.
We stayed here 2 years ago and they have updated since then. The rooms are a lot nicer and updated now. The pool and lounge area were nice. The free breakfast was good. The floor needed to be mopped. The floor turned the bottoms of our feet black. We also had a weird issue with the card reader on the door not recognizing the cards. It would take several attempts before it would read the card.
Friendly staff, clean comfortable room, free breakfast, LOCATION, LOCATION,LOCATION Congested parking, possibly due to construction. EWTN not available on TV
Staff was great, very polite and helpful. The pool was great, the room was clean, overall good value for money. The bath tub wasn't very clean, the bathroom smelled and didn't have an exhaust, the room felt humid.
Location. Within easy walking distance of downtown eating, bars, and shopping.
The rooms were basic, but clean for what they were. Thanks for the help! It was currently under renovation which made getting around a little rough. The only real complaint I have is about the breakfast. It was worth every bit of free that I paid.
friendly, helpful staff; clean room parking - had to park on a slope away from my room
I loved how friendly and helpful the staff was. the rooms were great. and we were just minutes from anything we wanted to do.
Perfectly located between beaches and where I needed to work. Construction was a small inconvenience but not bad.
The beds were great and the breakfast bar was ok but the carpet and hotel as an overall needs updating real bad I think they stopped shampooing the carpet and vacuuming the hallways the wallpaper is coming down in some places of the hotel. For the ones saying nicely redone carpets you must work there One staff member that was rude and unprofessional that worked at night, all I can say is if the door is left open to get coffee where the breakfast bar is or even get a bowl of dried cereal "don't" she will call you out in front of other guests hollering which is totally unprofessional not to be in the breakfast bar area. The manager I talked to the next day assured me she would never do that again but as for me ever going back I would not. There staff member just lost them buisness along with 3 other couples I know when I told them about my experience there
I was double charged for my room. Called the hotel three times, they said call kayak. Called kayak they said call the hotel. Neither one fixed my issue. So my 100 dollar room went to 200. I will NEVER use kayak again or stay at this hotel. I was double charged at another hotel just last month and they took care of the issue within two days. This place refuses. I like the hotel and have stayed 5 times before to meet up with family while I am here training at NAS Pensacola. It was a good place. However, knowing they cannot resolve this means I will never go back. Please management, don't write a response either, just give me my money back.
The staff was nice and responsive. Didn't have any issues. Only critique is that it's slightly out dated, worn down. It could use some touching up. Nice place though.
Everything was wonderful. The staff was very kind. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was very tasty. That I couldn't have stayed longer in florida! Seriously though, there was nothing I disliked about my stay.
The hotel was very clean and the room was spacious. The food served for breakfast was inedible.
Room was amazing, especially the bathroom. Walk in shower and upscale everything. One of the nicest places I've ever stayed.
Clean and modern rooms, large bathroom, pretty good breakfast, and the pool was nice and clean. Also the staff was friendly. Charged $80 more then listed from hidden fees.
Clean, I only needed a night stay while traveling for work. Very clean, very nice people and decent breakfast. Comfortable bed and spacious room.
Very friendly staff. Very clean establishment. Will definitely stay here again!!! Highly recommended. Only 20-30 minutes from pensecola beaches. Very easy to drive to and from. Absolutely nothing.
Cleanness of the hotel and room, Excellent buffet breakfast, and staff helpfulness, Insulation between floors needs careful thought when they build their next hotel. The guest above us ran his shower at 5.10 am which was very loud in our room.
The staff, breakfest, hot tub, beds Elevators were slow
I liked the location of the hotel very much so and the guy who works the night is very nice and helpful. The bed was very uncomfortable and even talked to the front desk about it, they seemed to not care. She was rude and kept treating us like we were not intelligent to use the bed properly.
Comfortable and clean/modern bathroom with hot water for a nice relaxing shower to then rest plus internet worked like a charm A little expensive but it's a nice hotel
We had to switch rooms because I found bugs in the bed and between the mattresses
We had a great young man that was working the desk when we checked in, Hugo. He gave us some wonderful ideas of places to eat. we would recommend this hotel. It is not far from the beach or downtown area.
Car alarm every 40 minutes all nightlong
Roof over our head's. Please do an inspection.
Room was dirty smelling. Bathroom smelled of strong urine. Toilet was dirty as was the floor and baseboard. Light broken, ice machine broken. Yes free coffee but not coffee. More like brown water! We got in late after driving all day through terrible storms. We were too tired to move to another room. I didn't feel comfortable in the bed knowing how dirty the room was being a discount hotel should not mean amenities should be broken, dirty and lacking attention! I totally regret spending my money here!
Chose red roof for low cost but beds were to lumpy. Only rooms with 2 beds were second floor. Not ADA compliant Chose red roof for low cost but beds were to lumpy. Only rooms with 2 beds were second floor. Not ADA compliant
Clean room, comfortable beds, nice tv, nice bathroom, large parking space Door handle broken, toilet too long to flush, exhaust fan ineffective, trucks parked all over and attendant slow and not accomodating
the cost The room had a musty smell and you could hear a lot of noise from the other rooms.
Super quiet, right off I-10, ajcent to a small mall with 8+ restraunts. Sheets were clean. Got the 79$ rate just a few hrs before arriving, so pretty cheap for two full beds. A/c was spot on for temp which was important to us. I chose this place bc it was close to our long day driving distance limit and because all the hotels nearby (150$) range were full. Great clean waffel house next door. Our room was grimy - tub, walls, carpet (i wore my flipflops). The faucet was loose, & toilet didnt flush without a couple tries. There were no xtras like a pool, or breakfast. It was older style with stairs at the ends and middle of the 4 long buildings. No elevators so the stairs could be a prob for less mobile folks.
Very dirty, flickering light, no hot water at sink, pot seeds on floor, tv screen smeared with food, etc. yuck.
Room was cramped, television did not work, phone did not work, and very poor lighting. Parking was horrorific.
Staff was friendly No wifi in the hotel at all, advertised for a fitness centre that was permanently closed, we had to ask for towels because none were provided, only had one television channel and it was in Spanish, there were bugs in the bed, advertised as close to beaches but they were over a 30 minute drive away, only options for breakfast were white bread and grain cereals, and the laundry facilities were only half functioning (had four washers and four dryers and only two of each worked).
It was dirty. Towels were hard. Bed was stained. Tv was all static
Can`t beat the price, 40$/night with breakfast and the girl at the front desk was friendly and cute. You get what you pay for!! Place is dirty, outdated and rundown, the breakfast is a pathetic joke.
Price was fairly priced Breakfast was poorly maintained and not enough choices had two different cereals and a waffle machine orange juice was horriable
The price. The room was shabby. TV was hard to watch. There was a urine smell in the bathroom. Breakfast was mediocre.
Lost the reservation told us they had no rooms when someone else proceeded to ask for a room he told them they had one. Very dirty. Very very dirty. Dirty sheets on top of it all
