The food was very good and the location, just by the "La Pelosa" beach, was very convenient. The staff was friendly and the hotel had a nice (family) atmosphere. The Hotel itself is a bit dated (70's) and in need of some renovations. The 4 persons accomodation has no privacy (no door separating the 2 bedrooms), which is unfortunate.
The hotel extension, where we had the room, was directly above the hotel entertainment which went on with karaoke and loud music till almost midnight. Considering we arrived late and were tired from the trip, its been an aweful surprise...
The private beach, the staff and the food!
the location of the hotel no relation between price and offer. Very poor services for a four stars hotel
everything perfect - no complaints at all
The staff were wonderful and the apartment was very well equipped. It is not in the best location so a car is needed.
amazing place. large apartments with living room. fully equipped kitchen(fridge, gas oven, microwave, ...). perfectly clean. free bicycles. sundeck on the roof. very nice staff. the location isnt perfect but there is a bikeway along the beach to the city center. only some staff who aren't always around speak english, but this isnt unusual in sardinia.
Maybe because the hotel was rather empty, we got a room with a great terrace with a view to the pool. Nice pool. Staff was not that friendly and barely spoke english. Most of the hotel outdoors was under remodelation (preparing for the summer?), so there was a lot of construction workers around. Dark restaurant with a rather poor choice of food for breakfast. Famous beach in the region is not within walking distance from the hotel.
Nothing... I made booking from booking.com, but hotel manager told me that they have no room for us. They moved me and my family to 3-stars hotel and forced to pay same price as they have for theirs 4-stars hotel.
The staff were very helpful and personable. The hotel was tasteful and well cared for by the staff and management. The location is slightly remote but is situated in a beautiful area. The beach was the best place on earth. Sky tv would have been of benefit for English speaking guests
Quiet, pretty and friendly staff Distance to local shops - ideally you'd need a car - as I did not know this previous to my trip I had to walk.
Friendly staff, great swimming pool, very nice garden. Close to some really beautiful beaches. La Pelosa beach was one of the best I have ever seen. The water is unbelievably clean there. Some people mentioned already that this is not really a 4 star hotel. Well I must agree. Don't expect English breakfast. It's continental and the choices are rather limited. But that's OK I have no problem with that. My real problem was the hot water boiler: it was way too small for a family of 4, all of us we simply could not take a shower because we ran out of hot water. But that would have been all right for 2 people. And I must say in our bathroom the toilet flush did not always work...
Great location. A kilometer or two from great beaches. Pleasant but very basic. Breakfast was a descent spread but bad coffee. Coffee was not good. Not 4 stars.
Great Value for our double room. Very nice beds, clean, spacious. Good location but a good walk from the beach. We needed extra pillows and late night manager was very kind and looked after us. Breakfast very poor, I would not be a big eater for breakfast but love a decent cup of coffee especially in Italy, coffee was appalling! Dining room was cold and uninviting. No bar/restaurant facilities in low season.
The pool at the beach and hotel was excellent, sometimes a bit noisy with too much loud music The rooms were small and cramped, a 4 person room was only really for 2 adults and 2 kids as you have to squeeze into bunk beds
The location was excellent and the hotel had a lovely swimming pool and also it's own private beach 600 metres away. The room turned out to be a two bedroom apartment. The information on the booking. com site was not accurate. The rooms we had were not what we thought we were getting and the air con didn't work. There were fans in the bedrooms at least. The view was spectacular and restaurants nearby were great but the hotel's own restaurant stopped serving dinner at 9pm! Also quite expensive.
Hotel staff were very unhelpful and could not speak much English
We had a lovely room with a balcony and seaview. The hotel also has a large swimming pool with sunbeds and umbrellas. There is a regular shuttle to and from the beach. We liked this hotel as we could walk into the village ( 10 min) but could also access the beach using the bus. The manager and staff were also very friendly and helpful.
Staff very friendly and helpful, food nice and local, close to Stintino town, and 10/15 minutes walk from La Pelosa Beach.
The hotel was ok, but not worth the price for u, staff was helpfull, breakfast was poor. The breakfast was poor but the coffee was excelent
The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was tiny!
Nice hotel, close enough to the Pelosa beach; Very clean and spacious room. Nice staff, dinner was good! Stintino is boring though, I was glad I spent only one night there.
the swimming pool was really nice, clean and there was somone at the pool- I liked the food : they even did a barbecue one night! think the sea view was too expensive -
Good value for money hotel however it is not close to any amenities at all and you will need a car in order to get to the town. This time of year the place is empty and the staff although friendly did not speak any English
Great personal service. I left my keys there and the hotel sent my keys to me by mail.
Hotel manager and his staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room excellent and well kept. Great outside pool in lovely setting. We have stayed there seven days on HB basis, both morning and evening meals were excellent. To summarise, Al Saraceno is really great hotel and we would return. n/a
The room was large enough for the party of 3 but ratehr basic. The breakfast was good though We were there at a quiet time at the end of May so it felt deserted. The free internet access in the foyer was not available which was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. It is along way from any restaurant.
Room clean and spacious. Fridge in room and air-conditioning great for Summer heat. Staff very helpful.
Nice room, we had the luck to have one with balcony. The position, close to the beach and hotelbus service. Breakfast facility is great, goof selecion and friendly personnel. For halfboard the dinner facility was at the hotel Cala Real near the hotel. The quality of the food was very average.
Peaceful surroundings, nice people. None.
comfort and closeness to airport with shuttle service even at inconvenient hours (4 a.m.) a very noisy party was on until midnight - but my room was changed so that I did not hear it. No telephone in the room.
staff very pleasant, room decent.
The owners were very enthousastic and very willing to please the guests. Very recommendable is dining with the other guests. The food (very good) served are local specialities and in a traditial "Italian style" 4 courses. The local wine is included in the dinner price! The breakfst has been "adjusted" to the continental wishes and includes egg and cheese.
Nice and helpful staff. Room nice and clean with a pivate terrass with access in the garden of the bed and breakfast. Near from Alghero and Capo Caccia (15 mns by car). Good breakfast. Hotel staff don't speak very well english. AS it is an "agriturismo", we try to eat on site and even if the food was correct, we found it expensive: 18€ each for a little salad (tomatoes and salad) and a meat (pork) not very famous...
friendly people and a good diner.
The friendly welcoming atmosphere of the host, his family and the staff.
Very warm and welcoming family who made us feel right at home from start. Very good dinner and good atmosphere. No!
Staying at the Domo De Pedra is one of the best ways to truly understand the spirit, culture, and warmth of Sardegna. The food and family are unforgettable.
The owners are really friendly and hospitable and if you opt to dine with them in the evening you can be sure of a delicious home-cooked, Sardinian meal
The "Welcome" from the staff was wonderful. They made us feel very welcome and at home. The food was fantastic and we discovered lots of local Sardinian specialities. The rooms were nice and private with their own terrace - just great! I will be going back to Domo de Pedra!
We stayed at the B&B De Pedra in Ferragosto and we had also dinner included in the price. It was an excellent experience dining in the international company and of course, the food was great. No air conditioning, although the nights were not hot since the B&B Domo De Pedra lies on the countryside.
Excellent accomodation and swimming pool, immaculately clean. Very friendly staff. Very peaceful. 5*
Great attention to customer happyness, not only with the hotel but with the region in general. Very good and rich breakfast. Very quite and relaxing. The road to get to the hotel (less than 1km) is not paved and the car bounces a lot
The owners were very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate my needs. I could not have asked for nicer hosts and the rooms and the gardens were lovely. There was a little village ( one shop and cafe) about a pleasant 10 minute walk away where you could buy drinks etc. Hotel was delightful and I would book again for sure. The swimming pool was not in use and I had booked the accomodation because of this as I had no transport and it quite far from the coast- I was not made aware of this before I left so was slightly disappointed. A small fridge in the room may also have been helpful to put in drinks as during the day there was no-one around but this is a suggestion not a critisism.
Peaceful and silent place in the countryside... Very nice and helpful staff, even though they spoke almost no english No windows in the room except for the toilett... Standard italian breakfast, I.e only milk, cereal, coffe and cakes.. Pool closed as it was may and thus off-season...
The rooms have been furnished and finished to a high standard and was well situated to the airport and local beaches. The hotel would benefit from finishing the external works. It some areas bricks and other building materials were left laying arround
Swimming pool.Good dinner available.Peaceful gardens/location.
The pool - big beautiful and clean. Rooms were clean, Teodora was lovely; location to airport and surrounding areas was fab; ate there one night too and food was great
