Very run down, room smelled like mold. Very loud and bright.

Arrive 3 hrs after checkin. Room wasn't even cleaned or prepared for new guest but they still let us into this room. Second room was made-up but filthy water puddle and large body fluid stain and mould on mattress. We cancelled!

Pros (+) Inside of room had been renovated.
Cons (-) People were yelling all evening. By 10 they were yelling profanities and about the sex acts they would perform on eachother. I called the front office 5 times and emailed before somebody picked up. She was annoyed I was so upset. She came to my floor - where she could have seen people were congregated from the office and told them somebody had complained. (Not that they were being ridiculous. Horr...

Pros (+) This was our only alternative as Hurricane Matthew forced people west and all hotels filled up over night. Having read the reviews we were prepared for anything but were pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, clean room, good bed and linen and bathroom. The "wooden" flooring was a welcome change from nasty hotel carpet. We clearly ended up in one of the renovated rooms so make sure to ask for one.
Cons (-) The A/C was tired and couldn't be manually set so we had to pull the plug overnight not to freeze to death. The breakfast was a synthetic horror show.

Cons (-) The plumbing was bad, the floors was very gritty, the bathroom was scary, filthy. Update is need in bathroom. Housekeeper knows how to rush you out at 10:00 am, when check out is at 11:00

Cons (-) Dead ants in the bed. Live ants in the bathroom. Dirty comforters Dirty toilet Hair on bathroom floor Extremely loud late night customers Room smelled like mold and carpet fresh.
