Pros: Extremely clean. Beautiful decor with period fittings and fixtures. Staff were extremely kind and attentive. Home warm and cosy with log fire burning when we arrived. Able to walk into an area to observe sea otters whilst relaxing with a cup of tea! The ambience reflected the period of the property ... loved the polished real wood floors and style of furnishings. Ideal location to go on whale watching trips and observe marine life. Quite remote area but has a community feel with several restaurants and a post office.
Cons: Loved it all
Pros: Great staff, Nautical Room, comfortable bed, great breakfast and staff
Pros: The staff treated you like family. The place was so quiet and peaceful.
Cons: Nothing not to like. This place was perfect.
Pros: Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Bed too hard. Price too high. Unfair to charge so much on an event weekend ( wh we didn’t attend) incl Monday after event wh should have been cheaper..
Pros: Used this property for access into Pebble Beach for US Open golf which worked well. Quaint property with nautical themed rooms overlooking nature reserve. Close to restaurants and the few shops available. Access to complimentary drinks & snacks.
Cons: Limited storage for clothes etc with only 2 hangers in wardrobe. No storage in bathroom. Expensive because of US Open golf.
Cons: The solitude
Pros: Great location,we had a lovely room on the river front with huge windows and could birdwatch from there when it was raining .Lovely decking area to enjoy a coffee on too . Very friendly welcoming people who looked after us and were very helpful , thoroughly loved our stay .
Cons: It was a little expensive but you are in a great location so it’s definitely worth it .
Pros: Breakfast was superb!
Cons: Would have liked somewhere to hang sleeping garmets/bathrobe in the bathroom.
Pros: The staff was amazing, and the property everything one could wish from an old house on the coast. Breakfast was excellent, home-cooked, and served in the sun room. The deck at the back of the property would have been a dandy place to set up a spotting scope. Of course, it is close to the rest of the restaurants in Moss Landing, as well as the birding and whale watching venues. A great place.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike, just be aware that the house is old, and the rooms are, therefore, homely rather than plush.
Pros: The breakfast was amazing! Harbor Master room was beautifully decorated and comfy!
Cons: It would’ve been nice to have an iron in the room or access to one, same with a plunger in case of an emergency
