Pros: very clean although very minimalistic and European. the staff were very friendly and check in and checkout were no problem. No carpets in the room which gave it a very clean feel. the shower facility was excellent. No noise from the outside or other rooms, beds were very comfortable, had a very good nights sleep.
Cons: room was small but clean, very futuristic feel, did not feel warming. The breakfast was the only downfall, sausage very tough and overcooked, scrambled eggs were cold.

Pros: It has a new and fresh look.
Cons: Sound carries too easily with the thin walls and the type of hard flooring.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel that will go far.
Cons: New hotels become oh hum when the corners in the bathrooms are not clean. Mopping with a rag mop will reach the corners and edging and behind toilets. I love the tile floors. Carpet is not sanitary to walk across. Beds were awesome. Nice size tv for us older folks. Check in was easy but the carts are not easy without the hanging clothes bar. Thank for the breakfast and wonderful care.

Pros: I love the bathroom the bed is very comfy and the room is very spacious the hotel itself seemed very clean which is good and the staff was very friendly
Cons: Didnt like that somethings weren't very clean like the paper towels that were on the roll in the room had something on the top of it the stove was very dirty and so was the oven and the dishes were dirty as well ended up not really using the kitchen because of this which makes the room value not necessarily worth it

10.0 Excellent
Pros: 24 hour shuttle, room service, room, food, and check in; all great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness delicious meals and excellent staff service
Cons: No
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful facilities, spacious quiet room, comfortable bed, clean and modern. Great food in the restaurant and in-room dining.
Cons: Service can require some patience. Was told to meet shuttle driver outside at airport: did this and found van but no driver for 10 minutes or so. At check-in, I booked a return shuttle to the airport for Sunday afternoon at 4pm: was awoken Sunday at 4:40am with a front desk call for my shuttle. Even in a comfortable bed in a quiet room, it's hard to get back to sleep after that call. It's in the restaurant that you notice the service variations most. Ate 4 meals there. Food was excellent. Wait staff was on and off. Pleasant and courteous, yes. Prompt and efficient, sometimes. For instance, Sunday morning had just 4 tables occupied at 8 am but it took a half-hour to get our food and at least 5 minutes to get coffee refills. That's why I said patience can be required. Dinner service had the most consistent servers; breakfast and lunch service, not so much. Still, overall it was a very pleasant stay and I plan to visit again.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great. Plenty of choices for breakfast . Room neat, clean and comfortable would stay here again.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The pool was open later hours, the beds were comfy and the bathroom was spacious, no pet fee
Cons: There wasn’t much for breakfast options
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and cool. Quiet.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Rooms were very dusty and they have no idea abt their pet policy
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It was all very good
Cons: Nothing serious, but a used glass was found near our bed, and a couple of other things were missed by the maid. Two different people at the desk didn't know whether the new section of Hwy 100 was open. (It was) They seemed ill informed in general.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Food was good, people very friendly, rooms were comfortable
5.8 Okay
Pros: Eggs were terrible
Cons: Air conditioning in room did not work keep room cool at all.
6.3 Good
Pros: Decent breakfast, not crowded, fantastic extended pool hours, easy check-in/check-out.
Cons: Much more bare-bones than expected. Small pool, no hot tub or sauna. No on-site or nearby food options, neighborhood was basically all hotels. No information available about surrounding city (attractions, restaurants, delivery places, etc). Beyond the tiny shampoo and body soap, no other complimentary toiletries, everything else was a charge. No vending machines, just a little “convenience store” area by the front desk but late at night had to hunt down the staff to be able to pay for snacks. Beds were ok, pillows were overstuffed synthetic, and bedding was very thin and barely fit the bed (lots of fighting over covers). I found myself wondering why I didn’t just save a few buck and go with Motel 6/Super8.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The comforters were on the thin side
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was nice, polite. Easy check in. Hotel was clean and comfortable.
Cons: The only thing I had an issue with was where the carpet was missing in the area where tile met the carpet in our room. I had to throw down a piece of cardboard because the staples in the floor were sticking up. Only took one time to step on it to know not to step there again.

4.3 Okay
Pros: The breakfast
Cons: I didn't like that the staff was rude and the toilet was clogged and they made me plunge it. That should've been a maintenance person doing that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: View
Cons: Na
5.5 Okay
Pros: The pillows and towels were soft.
Cons: The toilet in one of the rooms was not working and would not flush. Called front desk and they told us to come get the plunger instead of sending someone up. I had to fix the toilet on my own. Thank God i knew how. The breakfast was not good. Syrup was runny, sausage was dry, should have a 3rd juice option for those that cant drink cranberry or orange juice. And there was no coin machine for the games around the pool. Some people dont travel with change you know. My shower head leaked and was spraying all over out the back of it.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was ok and the bed was comfy. Kids enjoyed the pool.
Cons: Breakfast attendant was a little rude, seemed to not like her job. There was hair on the shower wall upon arrival. Things were just “ok”. Nothing really stood out.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: All the staff was super nice especially the waitress at the continental breakfast. I hope you're paying the employees well that go above and beyond. Because that's what makes it a great place to stay. The pool was very enjoyable. Wish we could have stayed longer but just passing through town. The beds were so very comfortable and pillows too
Cons: The location for the continental breakfast was further away then expected. The front/check in desk entrance was confusing. It seem to be on the backside of building.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: need to change rooms to be closer to pool "4th floor walkway cold" solved with no questions asked, thanks. Had a great stay.
Cons: 4th floor walkthrough really needs heat added.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are very nice and helpful
Cons: Nope it was very clean and the staff are amazing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Need a sign showing where property is located !
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Gym
Cons: Key card didn’t always work, could take several tries.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff and so many amenities.
Cons: The service at the restaurant was extremely slow.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Staff were friendly especially the cook that was preparing breakfast.
Cons: Dirty towels left in my bathroom hanging over the shower curtain. Leads me to believe that the bathroom was not properly cleaned. The hotel is so old and it shows. Needs a complete renovation. And updating. The breezeway you have to take to get breakfast in the morning is strange-seems like the building of it was an afterthought. I would recommend a complete tear down and rebuild.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was soft. Room was clean. Breakfast was fantastic.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was extremely comfortable.
Cons: There wasn't a fridge in the room.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfasts were not that tasty. Eggs, generally, and I heard one other attendee talk about indigestion from the sausage. The ham was extremely salty. I skipped the last 2 days of breakfast.
Cons: The entire place was frigid! Also, as I left, 4 young men stood there talking to one another and not one of them made any effort to help a 74-year-old woman (i.e., me) load several pieces of luggage into her car. I had taken cash out (to tip the young men I thought would help me). I guess you could say I "saved" that money, but I was surprised that they just stood there talking to one another while I struggled! Also, the food (room service, a turkey sandwich) was not very good, but was very expensive ($21 for fries and a turkey sandwich). I was going to take 6 people to dinner for my birthday, but, after the sandwich on Sunday night, I totally changed my mind about eating upstairs with several people. The quality was not good and I heard that one glass of wine another attendee had cost $18, which is high even by Chicago standards (I have a place in Chicago). That may not be accurate, as I changed my plans and ate, instead, at the White Star place nearby.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Pool furniture was nice.
Cons: Over priced for the amenities. I'm here on a business trip. I couldn't believe there was no refrigerator or microwave.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Love the location in downtown Cedar Rapids, with tons of restaurants nearby. Beautiful facility and rooms with excellent interiors. The lobby is attached to convention center; very convenient. And the 16th floor Hilton restaurant is exceptionally good!
Cons: Lobby could use a little more upkeep as it is very busy. Outside sidewalk needs serious power-wash. Staff is polite but could use a little more training to be on par with the facility.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff went above and beyond! They were awesome.
Cons: Wish there were more food options in the immediate area. I had no choice but to order from the hotel restaurant later in the night and it was pricey.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. We attended a concert at the convention center and the convenience of the hotel being connected was perfect!!
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel is central to Cedar Rapids, easy to find and has a large, impressive Reception area as you enter and the staff there were helpful. The rooms are spotless and a good size. The restaurant on the top floor is lovely. The carpark across the street is reasonably priced and convenient. Complimentary choc chip cookies are nice touch.
Cons: It's a shame breakfast isn't included in the price, that would have made it better value for money. The bed's were fine, but quite hard. You get a rude awakening by the train at night and early morning that runs reasonably regularly by the hotel as it likes to sound it's horn for a lengthy time as it goes by.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Efficient
Cons: The girl who checked us in never smiled once. Barely said hello. Didnt offer to enroll us in the rewards program and was like dealing with an empty lifeless box

Pros: We had a great tie both mornings with Leo our wait person at breakfast!!!!!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It had an overall “special place” appeal
Cons: It doesn’t seem to quite live up to its star level rating.
6.0 Good
Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: For the rate paid and the "extras" not being complimentary, that's a big turn off. Breakfast is included at hotels that should be less desirable than this hotel. Same with the staff behind the counter when I arrived. They need to understand that they are the "face" of your hotel name. Good bad or indifferent, they represent this hotel. Not very accommodating. Instead of making me feel like it was an honor that I chose this hotel, they made me feel like I should be happy they're allowing me to stay. Not good.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The beds and pillows were very comfortable
Cons: The air conditioning was not working. It was so hot in the room could not sleep.there was a large crack in the sink and my child cut his finger on it.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was enough for my family.
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious and comfortable.
Cons: There was a brown stain on the lamp shade. Just kinda made us wonder😬
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were spacious clean and comfortable. Free breakfast was nice.
Cons: The internet didn’t work worth a darn. I was forced to buy upgraded internet service in order to get my work done. The upgraded internet was free only if you booked directly. Seems pretty cheesy.
5.8 Okay
Pros: That outside the rooms (hallways and breakfast area) they really keep it up well...wish they did the same for each room...
Cons: Right out of the chute the toilet was clogged to the point that we,had to call maintenance to fix it. After that, I found 'stuff' (like somebody sneezed) around the mirror frame that I took a wash cloth to easily clean up...Really, housekeeping isn't looking for the little things that gross-out their clients...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and accommodating ☺️
Cons: Young kids in the hot tub.. like 3,4 7
7.5 Good
Pros: I love that the rooms look like a small apartment. I loved the full size frig with a freezer on the top. The cook top stove is great with all the cooking & eating utensils. Pot & pans furnished to cook with. A person could live there if needed to. I booked the room for a staycation for my daughter's birthday so they can swim and we all enjoyed staying at this hotel. The bathroom was pretty good size equipped with a blow dryer. The attendants at the front desk were extremely friendly and pleasant.
Cons: When I booked the room with a spa I was under the impression it had a whirlpool tub in the room and it didnt.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Not much
Cons: Well they didn’t have social hour on New Year’s Eve on a Monday night and never advertised it anywhere but at the hotel after check in. The heat in the room only blew cold air and when I talked to the man he did offer me a new room but my children were sleeping and wasn’t going to chance moving them and the heat barley worked in that room as well. When I told the worker he was like yes some of the thermostats don’t work properly. The hall way smelled like burning wires and the swimming pool was cold. Oh yes and the extra pillow in the closet looked like it had piss stains on it. What stinks is I have been staying at this location every New Year’s Eve the last 4 out of 5 New Year’s Eve and unfortunately this is my last stay in this crappy hotel. I have stayed in rooms that cost 35-45 dollars that were just as nice as this hotel. The amount of money I spent on the room the company should give me half of it back. Stay clear of the place. The photo is of the stain on the pillow.
7.0 Good
Cons: Not as clean as expected - couch was stained and shower needed a good scrubbing. We also found hair in the scrambled eggs.
7.0 Good
Pros: I like the kitchenette.
Cons: It is a little more spending than competing properties.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hot breakfast was great. I liked the fact that the room actually had dishes and pots and pans.
Cons: The pool temperature was too cold.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very friendly staff and comfy beds.
Cons: There were some tears and some spots on our pull out sofa. It was very old. It really didn’t seem to fit the hotel, the hotel seem a little more modern then that. The cushions in the swimming area were the same. Other then that our experience was pleasant.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: The online amenities list airport shuttle. This is a big reason I selected them. THEY HAVE NO SHUTTLE. We had to use Urber - an additional expense!

4.0 Okay
Pros: It had a great location for the reason we were in Cedar Rapids.
Cons: Disappointed there was no fridge or microwave. Even Super 8's have that! The enthusiasm level of the front desk fellow that checked us in was quite low. The gal in charge of breakfast was wonderful and kept everything stocked and clean.
7.0 Good
Pros: Good location. Good breakfast.
Cons: Pool small and loud. Wall falling apart. We specifically booked a room with 2 queens/pullout. Our room was 1 king/ pullout. Front desk said that room didn't exist at this hotel. Ironically our teammates had the exact room we booked. HATE being lied to!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I loved the cookies at check in time. And I also thought that it was very niece for the hotel to have bottled water at the front desk. The days that were there was so very hot and humid.
Cons: You could probably up date the TVs in the rooms
1.0 Poor
Pros: Breakfast was good. King suite room is large
Cons: Pool and hot tub were closed despite us calling ahead and asking. We chose this hotel strictly so our group could swim and enjoy the hot tub. When we explained to the staff on duty they were not helpful.
6.3 Good
Pros: The cleanliness of hotel was good.
Cons: The room I booked was not the room we had. We were suppose to have a whirlpool tub in the room. (Which I paid extra for) We ended up with a handicap room. (Paying the same price. Took nothing off room cost) No refrigetator or microwave in room. We were there for a baseball tournament. Would have been nice to keep waters cold. Ice machine never worked. The room was clean.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean. But I would have liked to have a small fridge in it.
Cons: The breakfast was the same old, same old. And the decaf coffee was not real hot.
7.0 Good
Pros: Bed was really comfy and the staff was friendly and helpful. Quick check in and easy access to the room
Cons: The room we were is seemed outdated. Very small compared to the last time we stayed here. Was really disappointed. Thought we had a mini fridge in the room and did not, so the snacks we brought with didn't have a place to keep. I really enjoyed the last stay, but did not enjoy this stay as much.
7.5 Good
Pros: The western omelets were very good, as was the oatmeal as well. The property was in good shape, did not notice peeling wallpaper which I feel is a sign of poor maintenance, the floors and walls all seemed clean.
Cons: It was a popular weekend and there were few places available to sit at breakfast time.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was fine
Cons: Just the separation of our two rooms - on 3rd and 4th floor, one directly above the other
5.5 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was delicious! The woman in charge of the eating area was very helpful and kept the area very clean.
Cons: The sheets and mattress pad were too small to fit the king size bed in our room and several other rooms where members of our extended family stayed. When this was brought to the attention of the front desk, the staff showed a lack of concern. The pool area was strewn with with used towels, paper cups, etc. Tiles had fallen off the wall and were missing, leaving exposed and missing wallboard and rusting metal. If the room looked this uncared for, what was the condition of the water in the pool and spa?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed. Clean, large room. Very friendly and professional staff.
Cons: NA
7.0 Good
Pros: The room size was fantastic.
Cons: The pool was unavailable due to a chemical issue; traveling with children they needed the release of energy... we were able to use a pool at another hotel across the parking lot since it had the same owner (but it took 20 minutes to find someone there to assist us). Mike K. at the other hotel was very gracious to help us out.

Pros: The location was ideal! The property was clean and had a wonderful staff!
Cons: There is little to no soundproofing between the rooms. Was very loud at all times of the stay. From conversations, TVs, hallway traffic, and showers. The room above every time they walked around sounded like they were going to fall through the floor into my room.

Pros: Breakfast was fine Nice staff Too far from Iowa City. We were there for a graduation. Best price for the distance
6.8 Good
Cons: The airport shuttle was 48 hour notice. I was never told that until I needed the shuttle. Had to take Uber to the airport . I used a different credit card when checking in. They charged my booking credit card. When I notified them of the mistake, I was told I needed a affidavit from check-in party credit card. I am unable to get this, that is why we checked in with the other parties credit card so they could sign it in person. I am very unhappy with this situation. I will not stay here again.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Close to air port
Cons: The heat system was cool

Pros: I had requested a recliner in the room when I booked. I got a quick response that they did not have them at this location. I was so surprised to discover a recliner in our room when we checked in. They went above and beyond! Thank you.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool area was clean and the temperature was warm. The staff were very nice, and the breakfast food was very good.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Closeness to airport
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was awesome! So nice to find “real hot food” served these days, and plenty of variety. Keep up the good work!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The pool area was very nice, and the jetted spa was the size of a small pool. Our kids are all grown and we are rarely tempted to get into a hotel pool anymore, ever, but that one sucked us in. The bed was comfortable and the front desk clerk made sure we knew to get bedding from her if we intended to use the sofa bed. There was hot coffee available at all times in the lobby.
Cons: The hot breakfast food quality was subpar, and that was disappointing. We stayed two nights and both mornings we had the same experience. The pre-packaged cereal, yogurt, etc. items (continentals) were as one would expect, but the sausage links were very odd in texture and taste, and the sausage gravy was not good. I was enthused about waking up to a hot breakfast I didn't have to cook while on our weekend vacation, but sadly just had a single serve yogurt.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Practically everything. They didn’t hassle me with my service animal. Great staff, friendly service, very clean
Cons: Bed was a bit hard and small. But still comfortable enough! Water didn’t get hot not even really warm. But they did have a pipe burst a the day earlier. Was told temp was regulated for this reason.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and well staffed. Good breakfast. Clean pool and pool towels.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was large, clean, comfortable. The property was very nice.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Having a separate living area (other than bedroom) with fridge, microwave and dining area was a plus. Breakfast was good.
Cons: A couple of additional towels in the bathroom would have been convenient.
5.8 Okay
Cons: First room was not what we had booked: we asked for 2 queens, but received 1 queen. They had one remaining room, so they switched us, but the new room didn't have a working air conditioner. It was 80 degrees in the room and no one slept well. Knowing from the first room that there weren't any other rooms, we toughed it out, but we were all extremely tired for my son's college graduation the next day. I informed the person at the front desk, but all they did was apologize. They should have informed a manager to fix the problem and out of kindness, offer us a discount for our miserable night.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The front desk personnel were as nice as you could expect.
Cons: I was told when I checked in that the furniture in the hotel was being swapped out. I didn't realize that it ment I wouldn't have furniture for more than 24hrs. Waking up the first morning (with no furniture except a bed) I was met with a shower that didn't work. The front desk allowed me into a different room in order to get a shower, but now, there wasn't any hot water. I was now out of time, and had to get things done, so I was forced to get a freezing cold shower to stay on time. So let's review: Hotel needs. - warm comfortable environment = not met. A working shower = not met. Hot water = not met. Easing travel stress = not even close. So, everything that I look for in a travel hotel, was not even close to being met.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: We rented 3 rooms for 4 nights and they were not close to each other
10.0 Excellent
Pros: First time at a Main Stay. Excellent facilities. I had a mini-suite but was fully stocked if I needed a longer stay. Loved the bar in the kitchen, a great place to get some work done. Separate living area, was nice to relax on sofa while watching some TV. Bed was very comfortable and had great sleep. Plenty of room for storing clothing (actual closet not just a bar on wall). Breakfast was hot and delicious. Friday was eggs, sausage, waffles, and normal cereals and rolls. Weekend was biscuits & gravy, waffles, cereals and rolls.
Cons: Door closest to my room would not take my key fob to unlock. Also dark in the parking and walk to door. Was told door would be fixed next day but it was not.
