Pros: I still cannot believe we got the room for the price we did. It was such a nice room, plenty of space, great decoration and a really good bathroom. The staff were very friendly and the check-in experience was extremely quick. Breakfast was ordered then and there for the morning. We were shown around and given a table for dinner. The food was excellent, the service was good and it wasn't too pricey. Breakfast was phenomenal - we didn't eat again until dinner... On our way out, the landlord gave us some tips for things to see on our way up the coast, which was really useful and well worth visiting. I would definitely, definitely stay here again.
Cons: I was only here for one night... I'd have stayed for a week.

The estate itself is old, feels very authentic, and cozy.

Pros: Gorgeous property! Really stunning inside. Plenty parking and the rooms were very spacious. Lovely man greeted us and showed us to our room. The room itself was lovely, cosy and beautifully decorated. The bed was so comfortable and was huge! Breakfast was a buffet and was delicious and hot. Lots of attention to detail.
Cons: The shower looked incredible at first glance. Sadly when we used the shower we noticed that it needed a really good clean. Lots of black mould clogging up where the water should come out, it even prevented 5 out of the 6 jets from working. Then when I went to use my towel, it had a dried up centipede rolled up inside. Thankfully had brought towels from home as it wasn’t stated if they would be provided or not.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The ladies who run this B&B are so pleasant and kind!!! They went OUT OF THEIR WAY to take care of us when we arrived way later than expected and quite nervous from a long day of unfamiliar driving. The breakfast was great, and the view was one of the highlights of our trip. Their "coos" are adorable too! We are already planning a return trip, and absolutely will book again!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We both liked the view and the overall experience. Delightful wee place.

Pros: Wonderful location along a quiet country road with lovely Highlander cattle grazing and views overlooking Loch Ness. The family was so gracious and welcoming. Our room was cozy with great views of the cattle and loch. Breakfast was amazing! Best French toast I ever had. Highly recommended place.
Cons: nothing...it was wonderful
4.2 Okay
Pros: The room was spacious. Bathroom ok. View lovely from breakfast room. Breakfast ok.
Cons: This was not farm B&B and shouldn’t be advertised as such.. we are farmers and I have a farm B&B . The bed wasn’t comfortable, only 1 pillow each, bedding quite worn and dated as was the room..could hear other guests in adjacent room very easily..tv very small, very high on wall and difficult to use. The refreshments were not of a good standard and would prefer mugs to the tiny cups. No visitor information in room. Room cold on arrival before heating came on. Breakfast room cold.. hardly any interaction from host.. sorry wouldn’t stay again.
7.5 Good
Pros: Underfloor heating in the bathroom. The bathtub. Proximity to Lochness. Salmon and scrambled eggs. French Toast with maple syrup and berries.
Cons: During the whole week we stayed in guest house and it was still the least of all. Having arrived around 11am we dropped the luggage and were surprised to be greeted by the house mistress in pajamas. We returned around 6pm and the bed had been forgotten to be prepared. It was very cold in the house and in the room (there were 3 rooms rented). The floor heating in the bathroom and the bath are great. Breakfast is served from 8am to 9.30am and at 7.49am when we got out of the room, the whole house was in the dark and it was a cold duck. Back at 8am, the breakfast table consisted of 4 kinds of cereals, industrial jams and spreads, a little milk and orange juice. even if there are animals in the field the price is overvalued.

Pros: The setting of the hotel was great. The staff were very friendly. The whole experience was what we’d expect from a quality Scottish hotel. The food and service were outstanding.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely gorgeous XVII century mansion in the beautiful area of Black Isle. Great and comfy drawing rooms with sofas, armchairs, fireplace, and books. Highly recommended to spend ta least one relaxing evening there. An atmosphere of being invited for a weekend at your noble friends. Our room was lovely decorated with floral patterns. We had an ensuite bathroom with a bath. Fantastic breakfast (try scramlbe eggs with salmon). Love;y dogs live there. Highly recommended and will certainly will come back
Cons: Despite the fact that they are honoured with a lot of prizes for their cuisine, we thought that our dinner was moderately tasty. Try local beers, though))
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great food & very friendly, helpful staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place definitely has its charm, as do its owners. The staff and the owner family were very helpful, friendly, and open people. The first thing to amaze us was the salon or foyer with a wood burning fireplace where some guests already enjoyed the evening with a newspaper when we arrived. The dinner and breakfast in a traditionally furnished dining hall were nicely served as well as delicious. The bar on the ground floor, again with the fireplace, is a nice finish to the evening. The room facilities although obviously not very modern work very good - heaters, shower, etc. The rooms with big windows are cosy and at the same time remind you of the rich history of the place. All in all we enjoyed every bit of our short stay.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: A very charming hotel with friendly and helpful staff. As it is a bit offside of the Townlet Muir of Ord it was quite good that they served an excellent dinner. The small bar in the annex was quite comfy and good value for money. Breakfast was excellent. Close to the Glen Ord Distillery.

Pros: Choice over meals. Price.
Cons: No hot water. Poor range of channels on the TV.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good location, very easy to find and staff very friendly
Cons: First morning I got up early to get to site, the water was cold and running very slowly. Second time of staying I raised the issue of hot water, and water was warm, but ran very slowly. It was slow, which meant that I did not have a shower and washed in the sink.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It is a basic highland hotel, but reasonably priced. Staff were very helpful. Good shower. Rooms very clean. Breakfast was excellent. Not much choice in this area. Overall good value and no issue.
Cons: Breakfast service was a little slow and we had an early start. Forgot to bring out some of the basics for breakfast (like cups for coffee). To be fair we were very early for breakfast. But once arrived was very good. The bar can be very noisy and heard in the room. People standing outside waiting for taxis woke us up, There was a wedding, so I would guess at other time it would be much quieter.
