4.0 Okay
Pros: Location was nice.
Cons: They wouldn’t let me leave because there was a billing error on booking.coms side and they tried to charge me twice for one night since they didn’t know booking.com allowed prepay. I was essentially accused of simply not having enough money to pay for the room. I received no discount or anything to make up for the fact that they kept us for another 30 minutes after accusing us of not being able to afford the room because they somehow didn’t know the policies of booking.com. Also very tiny room and hard bed for the price. Would’ve been great value if it was a 90 dollar room not 160.

Cons: All was good!

Pros: Nice clean rooms & friendly staff.
6.0 Good
Pros: The pillows were too fat and too firm. It placed my head at an awkward angle. My husband couldn't even use them. The bed was so firm I had a hard time walking the next morning from tossing and turning all night.
Cons: It was very clean. The breakfast was nice and fresh. The staff were friendly.
6.0 Good
Pros: Clean room/ spacious
Cons: The WiFi was horrible! Would not connect and when it did just buffering.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect for my purpose of visiting the town.
6.0 Good
Pros: The location was good. Stayed there for an early morning move-out time at SFA. My student is a freshman & when we travel there, depending on situation we rent a hotel room. You're the 3rd one we've checked out in the area, looking for ONE to be our "go to hotel" the next 3 yrs.
Cons: Breakfast was a huge disappointment but I'll assume it was because of all the COVID19. Understand as spouse in the medical field & therfore not unexpected. We were there for SFA move-out. For that reason we had 2 vehicles. We arrived about 6pm, after check-in we were leaving for dinner and we found a huge delivery type truck had backed-in on the side parking lot & the high back-in "literally was OVER the hood of one of our vehicles". The man driving the truck was staying in the hotel. You should require large business vehicles to PARK in the back, there was plenty of space in the back on that day but he decided to park in the FRONT SIDE AREA where he took 5 spaces PLUS the back was OVER the hood of another guests vehicles. Had it been my higher SUV vehicle it would have been scratched. Luckily, it was my daughter's small Toyota. Had it been hit, your lot is considered Private Property & would have been difficult to make a claim had he just drove away. Take the responsibility & ask large business vehicles to park where they can take extra room. If it were Parent Weekend at SFA & hotels raise the rates by a HUGE amount, guarantee you would be very careful about being able to accommodate.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The inside was a lot nicer than I expected. I lived in Nacogdoches for about three years and came to visit. No one would ever suggest staying at this hotel, but the inside was actual very nice and super clean.
Cons: House keeping did not stop by at all to get trash or change sheets. The location is not wonderful, it's away from North street, which is where all the activities are located, including SFA. I didn't feel the safest in the location because it was occupied by a lot of contract workers (men), but nothing happened and we were safe the entire weekend.

Pros: It was in a transition of renovation and the new finishes were very nice. The breakfast buffet was nice too. My grandsons loved the waffles.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was very clean and the bed was comfortable, with enough pillows and blankets. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered takeout from a local restaurant but got no utensils with our order. A quick trip to the lobby and the manager gave us a stack of paper plates, several plastic forks and knives, and a handful of napkins.
Cons: The air conditioning unit was a bit farther from the bed than most hotels we've stayed in, so it took longer for the cool air to make the room comfortable for sleeping. Still, we did have a good night's sleep.

Pros: Breakfast was great. Stay was very quiet and relaxing.
Cons: Can’t really think of anything! Well, maybe 2 more pillows on the bed.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice host and comfortable bed.
Cons: All good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming and comfortable
Cons: Difficult to open the curtains completely
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Overall Hardeman House was comfortable and the hosts were great (as was the breakfast). The location made walking all over historic Nacagdoches easy.
Cons: The one suggestion I could make is that our room would benefit from the addition of a few hooks for hanging clothes since there is no closet in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stay here every time we come visit our son at SFA,it is like a second home to us! We have now stayed in every one of their guest rooms. The coffee is always ready and hit, the breakfasts are always plentiful and yummy and the house is close to campus and downtown. Kim and Michael are always very warm and welcoming and their children are friendly as well.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The sheets were amazing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The house is really interesting. The decor is faithful to the time period of the house. Breakfast was lovely. There are many exterior fix-ups needed. The owners were friendly and helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and very comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is a two star property and is under rated. The room we had 110 was huge, clean and smelled great. The beds were new as were the sheets and bedspread. The carpet looked new or had been really well steam cleaned.
Cons: The breakfast was sparse. Milk, juice, fruit juice, ceral, apples and waffles. Coffee was good with large cups. No coffee to go lids. Food and drinks are not allowed in the rooms. This is strictly enforced by management.

10.0 Excellent

Pros: Great location, beautiful remodel, nine flags bar & restaurant.
Cons: The visit was great but the room was very small for the price. We've had multi room suites with full kitchen, & a balcony on the beach for lower prices.

Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Outside entrance. Forgot when I booked.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Price
Cons: Bed was not a queen as advertised, more like full size - bed was hard and pillows were so fluffy that one was not enough and 2 was too much. Also the air was not blowing very cold. Also traffic was loud
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The peace and quiet. The stiffness of the mattress.
Cons: Didn't have a freshly clean smell. It was clean it just didn't smell that way.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was better than most and the location could not have been more conventient.
Cons: nothing
4.0 Okay
Pros: Recently renovated and clean.
Cons: Fair price for a bed and a shower but burn holes in our comforter and dirty blanket sure surprised us. Fair because this is a motel NOT an hotel. Asked for a quiet room as a special request on the booking app but all of the motel renters were packed at the back and very few, if any, were given rooms to the front of the building.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: the location was perfect for what I needed.
Cons: The sheets and pillow cases had stains that resembled bed bug fecal stains, stains from the washing machine and cigarette burns. there was no sign of bed bugs however so the sheets could've just been old

Cons: Can’t think of one thing
7.0 Good
Pros: The hotel was good for a budget hotel. Bed was pretty comfortable. Breakfast was just ok.
Cons: Highway noise was bothersome.
4.2 Okay
Cons: There was really nothing fresh for breakfast and the orange juice had glumly slim coming out of the tap. No staff around to assist.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was in a transition of renovation and the new finishes were very nice. The breakfast buffet was nice too. My grandsons loved the waffles.
Cons: We found hair on the sheets that was not ours so we sprayed with Lysol and wiped down the fixtures, doorknobs, remote control and bathtub with disinfectant wipes just to be on the safe side.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Clean. I enjoy that.
Cons: I was put in a room near the freeway so it was extremely loud. Also, I could hear everything from the upper neighbors. It was just really noisy Also, the breakfast terrible.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast bar was reduced due to Covid-19, which we appreciated. This shows the staff's responsibility and efforts to keep us all safe. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean. The location of the hotel was easy to find.
Cons: N/A
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was perfect and the price was great for the quality of the room. The room was clean and the customer service was excellent.

Pros: The property was amazing! Calm, peaceful and quiet. The cleaning lady was so nice and so attentive!
Cons: The owner that did the cooking for breakfast wasn’t very nice. Breakfast is served from 9-10. At 9:40, he start cleaning up while there was about 15 guests still eating. Myself and 2 other guests went to get more coffee but it was out. One guest asked for more and he snapped back and said, there is coffee in your room. The food was good but one our way out, we noticed small dead roaches on the floor.
