Had a blast!!!!
Let me just say, the room was so clean and spacious. My God, the tub could probably fit 3 people in it. I felt like I should have brought a bag of epsom salt to relax a bit more. There was also coffee in the room for you to make if you didn’t want to get up & out too early. The bed was very firm, often times when we travel the bed are too soft but not this time. I felt like Dorothy in “THE WIZARD OF OZ” there’s no place like home. Oops! I almost forgot, I’m at Harrah’s New Orleans Casino & Hotel. Fabulous Trip!!

The hotel is across the street and offers a tunnel to walk through to get to Casino. Very well situated and within walking distance to the French Quarter. The staff are very friendly and helpful with maps and directions and suggestions for restaurants and clubs. Checking in and out was a breeze. Every time we walked in or out of hotel staff would greet us with a friendly smile. The Casino very busy and lots of slots to choose from. Appreciated the no smoking atmosphere so much more than Harrah's Biloxi which still allows smoking and we had to walk out. Lots of food choices inside the casino. Diamond Lounge was very nice but food was awful.
My room was nice but the bathroom make up mirror did not work. The housekeeping service did not replace our used drinking glasses and coffee mugs. They were left with coffee still in the mugs when we returned from a day out. It was obvious we were not going to drink all the coffee. I had to wash them myself in the sink. The "Steakhouse " restaurant in the Casino was a huge disappointment. Big bucks for steaks that did not live up to the price tag. Looked like a cafeteria style eatery, with no white linens to give it the high priced Steakhouse style look. Very disappointing and uninviting. We should have gone to Ruth Chris instead for the $200.00 price tag we paid for dinner. Everything is extra . The waiter very knowledgeable about wine and was very nice. Slots are also tight here. Diamond Lounge was very nice but the food options were awful. The Caesar's chicken salad was small, and the chicken breast was cold and overcooked and tasteless. The pretzels were not a good option either. Very cheeply put together. The wine was good . Enjoyed the free drinks but would not eat the food.
Great Hotel in New Orleans
This is a fantastic MGM Property to stay at in New Orleans. Right next to the French Quarters. Newly Remodeling and very tastefully done Rooms. Great service, need I say more. You won't be disappointed. Glad we stayed here with our friends. This hotel Added a touch of class to our visit.
I loved the staff, I loved the courtyard and it's many food options and entertainment, and I loved the proximity to the French Quarters.
I hated the parking.
