My stay was not without it's problems, but the staff was excellent all around. I picked this hotel out of the available IHG properties as the site advertised a really nice Nespresso machine. Upon checking in, the front desk agent was very friendly and was able to upgrade me to a suite thanks to my Diamond status. Unfortunately, I discovered the room didn't have the Nespresso machine advertised, and inexplicably, none of the rooms did. I let the staff know and the hotel manager arranged for a Nespresso machine to be put in my room on the 3rd day of my stay with plenty of pods, which was nice that they fixed the issue. The room wasn't the cleanest with hairs in the shower, and they told me they would re-clean the room but never did. Not a huge deal, but sadly they are just not doing a great job on cleaning. The manager said he would address in the future. The bed was super comfortable and I slept amazing. The location is clutch, too, a 5-10 minute walk from everything you'd want without having any of the noise issues. Only real issue as others have pointed out is that the hotel is old and is need of an upgrade. Drawers didn't close, floors are uneven -- I almost hurt myself going down the 2" drop going into the bathroom in the middle of the night. Nothing was a deal-breaker, but things to be aware of.

Pros. Stafff was very helpful and accommodating for a nursing mom. Location was great.

Cons. Room didn’t have a window. It appears some rooms are like this. In New Orleans, a window is mandatory!

Pros. I loved the look and the little gardens the hotel had although they were quite dirty when I was there but I assume was because of the weather that week

Pros. simply superb, nice visual, great staff, very comfortable, nearby the points of interest. ...and a great summer deal for the rooms

Cons. nothing...but the parking was a bit awkward, even with the valet. but not terrible

Pros. The room was really pretty.

Cons. The service was off from the moment we checked in. The person at the front desk seemed very annoyed to have to work. It took quite a while to get through that, then it also took a long time for them to respond to requests once we'd checked in. Also, the windows are thin, and there's a fair amount of noise from the street.

Pros. The entire experience was excellent. The hotel was clean and had character, it really felt like I was staying in New Orleans. The staff were very friendly and practiced hospitality. Michelle at the Front Desk, was very informative, approachable and a total professional. Sasha from Housekeeping was a delight running into, always displayed hard work, greeted and smiled. I will come back on my next trip to NOLA.

Pros. Nice room, xlnt mattress, good service. Close to big convention hotels and to convention center. Has good steakhouse in same bldg. definitely consider this hotel unless you really need convention hotel. Not as romantic as small hotels in the Qtr. , but still very nice
