Elevator was broken and behaving in a dangerous manner. Our room was near ice machine hard to sleep clanking into the early morning.
Pros. The hotel was newly renovated with large open spaces and modern finishes. The room was very spacious, clean and accommodating for both a business traveler and a leisure trip.
Cons. While the hotel is new & modern with open spaces and large rooms it seems to be lacking warmth. For example the lights in the rooms were VERY BRIGHT with no dim levels, the floors are completely tile - no carpet or rugs so the room felt stark. Similar feel in the common spaces - for example the bar wasn’t open during the afternoon (IN NEW ORLEANS) and it seems the bar was the only popular space in the lobby area. The overall aesthetics are pleasing but something is just lacking. The management should really figure it out because the space is too nice not to be enjoyed by a high end clientele.
Pros. This was a hotel we had never stayed at before and I took a chance and it paid off. The hotel was updated, clean and very modern.
Cons. The location is on Canal but at the other end of Canal, so unless ur an avoid walker take an Uber or Lyft.
Pros. Spacious rooms, very clean and HQ finishes
Cons. I bit noisy from hotel engines
