Situated at 1605 Broadway, only a short walk from Grand Central Terminal, Crowne Plaza Times Square is the envy of all New York hotels! Overlooking New York's iconic Times Square lights, the hotel is also just a few blocks from Radio City Music Hall, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art.
Location of the Crowne Plaza Times Square was perfect and centrally located. The Concierge, Corinne, was amazing. She gave great tips, directions, and was so personable and friendly. Our room was awesome, with a great view. The exercise facility was great, many areas to work out in and a large variety of equipment. All staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a great time.
The website we booked from describes the upper lounge which no longer exists. The in-room guide describes the Room Service Menu. Room service no longer exists.
I loved the Crowne Plaza Times Square, in addition to friendly and professional service it very clean and comfortable. The hotel was in walking distance to everything we had on our itinerary, the beds were comfortable, so comfortable I slept like a baby.
Was very upset that this hotel had no roomservice but indicated otherwise on its website
The hotel was very upscale and modern .the staff was also very friendly .nice bar and restaurant inside
Staff was attentive and very friendly with our kids.
Although there is a thermostat in the room, the entire hotel works on a chiller system that was not turned on. Because of this, you could only have hot or warm air blowing in your room. Making our room an uncomfortable 80 degrees all night.
Sandra at the front desk was amazing. Our room was BETTER than we requested, and the hotel STILL APOLOGIZED for it not being what we originally asked for even though the room was amazing! They comped us free drinks and breakfast and it was all incredible. I will certainly be back.
Having to leave at the end of my stay because THIS PLACE WAS AWESOME
Like the view also was very happy have a quiete room I will stay here again and will highly recomend it to my fam and friends
Located at 48th and Broadway, the hotel is great for the Times Square area and Broadway shows. It was very cold (February) and snowy, but we were able to walk to dinner and the theater easily.
The 37th floor temperature was very warm and the thermostat/air conditioner did not cool it off. But, we discovered we could open a window and get cool that way!
Great location, close to theaters and subway 50th street station was very close.
For Check out receipt you need to come to front desk and stand in queue. There was a $29 dollar food bill added. I never had any food, the front office person was good enough to remove it. Hadn't I not gone to the front desk, they would have slapped it on my bill. Can't understand how they let these things happen.
Location was excellent. Room was larger than the average for New York hotel but standard size compared to most locations outside the city. Room had been updated. Beds were comfortable and linens/clean. Had a view of Times Square and the city which was terrific. Rooms were very very quiet save street noise of sirens but it is a major major city so that is certainly to be expected.
Most everything was fine and complaints minor but they minor things did add up after awhile. First internet is not free and is $9.95 for only 4 hours. For the $$ would expect internet to be included. It is free in some subway stops for Pete's sake. So went with my cell network instead. However I was up above the 30th floor and was down to one bar; cell towers are often angled down. Therefore had to go downstairs for internet. Easy enough but an annoyance after awhile. Also had a couple of items go missing. At first we thought that sine they were in plastic bags on the floor and so the service staff may have assumed they were trash and threw them out. But after we lost two bags of souvenirs we began to suspect something. Unfortunately we did not notice the second bag was gone until we returned home. Again though we are giving the staff the benefit of the doubt that they just assumed the items were trash and threw them out on mistake.
Great location. The hotel is right on Times Square.
Everything was right.
Staff was friendly, rooms were spacious, hotel is clean and great location
