Pros. Close to the medical center. Having breakfast at the hotel was helpful. The hotel was clean and the neighborhood felt safe.
Cons. Room and bathroom were a bit small but we were only staying for the night. Breakfast could have had a little more variety.
Pros. Clean, modern, nice amenities, friendly staff. I changed my reservations several times they were very nice about it. For a nyc little hotel, this is very clean, and didn't have to worry about bed bugs. It has laminate floor which keeps the floor clean or easy to clean. They gave two bottle water complimentary. The breakfast is not much to praise about, but the breakfast lounge feels really clean and modern and inviting. Has lemon water all day. Most importantly it's only a couple blocks from the Presbyterian Hospital, which is the purpose of the trip.
Cons. The AC heat is super annoying. It makes all kinds of inconsistent noise and the control panel is practically useless. It's is not US standard and I don't get how to use it. The nights my sleep 8s lighter the noise just drive me to the walls. Some people might like crispy linens, I really dont. The sheets are so crispy I feel like there is paper crackling and crumbling at my ears all night. The doors are super heavy, it slams whenever anyone goes in and out or take the elevator. Good thing thing it does have an outer door shared by two rooms, which blocks some slamming sound. Just make sure you remember to close it.
Pros. Convenient to the Subway, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed, clean well-appointed bathroom, very quiet, easy access to good food, safe. Affordable! What more could you ask.
Cons. When I dropped my lipstick and it rolled under the bed, I noticed a thick layer of dust. Being allergic to dust, that was a bit off-putting. Also, in the breakfast area, some butter for the muffins and a bit more variety would be good. We did really enjoy our stay!
