Good location, very near subway. Room was clean, small as NYC rooms often are. Not comfortable for hanging out. Ground floor desk is understaffed with long lines. Then you go up to the restaurant/bar on the third floor to switch elevators. Young vibe means loud music even at breakfast. Food is below average.
Pros. The room was great, modern, and clean. Automatic blinds/curtain was a plus. If you just need a place to sleep it does the job.
Cons. The water pressure sucked in my room. 19th floor for anyone curious. The elevators are seriously slow and are in need of maintenance. Only 2 of the 3 worked during my stay and the card reader for both of them were glitchy and required multiple tries. With a building with 20+ floors, would expect more elevators or at least a high priority to have all 3 operational. I wish there were water stations by the check-in on the first floor. The water station is actually all the way in the back of the 3rd floor 'main lounge' floor where theres the bar and skee ball. They didn't have points for opting out of housekeeping, which I found weird. They said they'll have it implemented soon but I don't think its very hard to reward members with points had they opted out of housekeeping. I wish they had a restaurant you could eat at. If you're a Marriott member there is no free breakfast or lounge.
