Pros. The location was good and quiet for the most part. The hotel was clean. Staff was friendly.
Cons. The hotel is very old. Needs some updating. There was not enough light in the room or in the bathroom. Very dim lights. Also had to keep asking for wash cloths which I found odd. I probably won’t stay here again as I like more updated hotels. But decent for the price we paid!
Pros. Room was very spacious and comfortable.

Cons. Kayak gave wrong dates to hotel so when we arrived on Saturday the hotel had us down as no show for Friday night..they had reservation from Friday to Monday. We had booked through Kayak from Saturday to Tuesday..fortunately I had my email confirmation from Kayak to show the hotel registration staff ..a bit distressing on our arrival at the hotel.
Pros. Great location. Very kind staff
Cons. DIRTY, GROSS, BEAT UP ROOM- stains on the carpet, stains on the bed, grungy bathroom, water mark rings on the furniture, all edges of the furniture were scuffed. Shower did not have a proper showerhead on it, and looked like a hose with a spray nozzle on it. I complained about the dirty room and the very kind woman at the front desk upgraded me to the largest suite in the hotel with a terrace - which was not any nicer. I wound up moving to the St. Giles tuscany next door , as they accepted my reservation being of same ownership.

Pros. This is set in an amazing area. The outside and inside is very pretty and caught our eye to bring us there. Staff was friendly even though they were out of extra sheets and robes.
Cons. Bed is always supposed to be the best part of the hotel. But it was uncomfortable. Sheets were pilling. And there was this comforter underneath that was gross and was not comforting at all. This place had so much potential but really didn't do it for us. Advertised HD tv without HD channels. Bathroom lights flickering. It was fine but not 4 star.
Pros. good location, nice neighborhood, everything needed is close by.
Cons. my room had half the lights did not work, this included the bathroom where everything dark .
Pros. Great location, terrific value in NYC. Would definitely stay there again.
Cons. All the rooms were doubled booked so none of the keys worked and when they reprogrammed the keys people had access to occupied rooms. We asked for a refund but didnt get one.
Pros. Spacious hotel rooms and very friendly staff. Great location.
Cons. They never brought us enough towels. Sometimes they didn't leave us any towels. I've never experienced that from this level of hotel before.
