Pros: The staff were very helpful and the amenities were very nice.
Cons: The mattresses and bedding was uncomfortable and low quality compared to the rest of the quality of the hotel.
Pros: The room was very clean and spacious . Breakfast was The best
Cons: Stay Was too short. Can't comment
Pros: Located close to freeway. Clean. Has Swimming Pool. Spacious room and breakfast that you can actually enjoy.
Cons: The heater was pretty loud at times. I've notified the management and hope they can fix it.
Pros: As always, the Residence Inn was very clean, with friendly professional staff. Amenities were great: indoor pool & jacuzzi, gym, full hot breakfast among lots of other foods, free parking. Everything was very clean and everyone was very friendly.
Pros: Amazing employees
Cons: Nothing :)
Pros: Right next to the children's museum. Great breakfast.

Pros: My husband and I had to wait for escrow to close on a house we purchased. We had sold our house so we had nowhere to go. We checked into Larkspur Landing and what a nice surprise. I especially liked the kitchenette and free laundry. It meet all our needs.
Cons: The TV would occasionally black out. We would have to unplug it and then plug it back in to make it work again.
Pros: I've stayed at two other larkspur hotels . Love them
Cons: What I didn't like was I am a light sleeper so I make this a point when I go to speak up off the bat . This last time I was put on the same floor as a wedding party they were the worst .. Up all night arguing and fighting slamming doors . The staff has always been courteous . I didn't complain I was too exhausted , but I know they would have taken care of me .
Cons: Too jammed with people in breakfast area, given accessible room when I don't need it.
When visiting Roseville, Larkspur Landing Roseville - An All-Suite Hotel is a great choice to consider. Guests can visit the health club for a workout, and free perks include continental breakfast, WiFi, and self parking. Nice touches like iPod docks, down comforters, and designer toiletries are offered up in all rooms.
Cons: Hot tub was not hot and it was 60 and raining.
Pros: Loved every moment. Staff was very welcoming. Definitely will consider staying there again.
Cons: No complaints
Cons: Our first room had blood on the walls. We then moved rooms only to be placed in a room that wasn't cleaned. When we were moved again our room was still dirty but by then we had missed our original plans we had made. We stayed in the third room. The only thing the hotel did was remove a parking charge (which feels like something that should be free for guests anyway). Upon checking out a staff person made a very inappropriate drug related joke to my partner that made us both uncomfortable. When trying to order food from the bar I enquired about the cooking oil as I have food allergies and the staff said she didn't know and refused to find out what was used. I felt very uncomfortable, unsafe and dirty the entire trip. Definitely will not be staying at the Hyatt again.
Pros: I was there with 3 young children. Very courteous and helpful staff. Pool was perfect for the kids. Breakfast was good, fast and reasonably priced. The hotel is clean and quiet hours were respected. We were there for a reception on the 15th floor which was also fantastic.
Cons: Breakfast was not included
Pros: Staff were very nice. Location is excellent.
Cons: Room was dusty and had finger prints in the bathroom. There was a long black hair in the bed.
Pros: Beautiful view!!!!
Cons: hard to get regulated the hot water,
thin walls, very loud and you can hear every conversations even the cell phone from all rooms no only your neighbors
Cons: Upon check-in, we were given a room that was still occupied. The following morning someone walked into our room while we were sleeping.

Pros: Variety of snacks available for purchase 24 hours. Convenient location. Friendly staff.
Cons: No continental breakfast.

Pros: Lots of families great continental breakfast with lots of fresh healthy choices very impressed. Pool was a lot smaller than it looks in the pictures.Super close to old Sacramento which is right across the street with train rides horse & buggy etc $30 for Parking on top of $230 a night should be free if not cheaper....
Cons: Size of pool & parking charges were steep
Pros: Large suite. Clean. In down-town. Breakfast ok. Friendly staff. Good location (next to the river).
Cons: Charging for parking was unexpected. Steep WiFi charges also unexpected when it is free in almost all hotels and coffee shops. very disappointed in this nickel and dime strategy. Especially, when they charge nearly 50% over nearest comparable hotel, this is very user unfriendly. Air-condition/heating unit made noise throughout the night. That vent could have been kept away from the bed room.
Pros: Easily reached. Great pillows.
Cons: Fee for wifi. Air condition kept noisily turning off and on all night

Pros: Walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Quiet interior location.
Cons: Unprofessional front desk staff needs training.
Pros: The staff went out of their way to please, with friendly smiles and over-the-top courtesy.
Pros: Wonderful room downtown with a great view. The restaurant that is attached is wonderful, and there are several others within walking distance. It is right across the street from the beautiful Capitol Park, and there is plenty to do in the area. It is even walking distance from Old Sacramento which is a great place to spend a day shopping and enjoying the old buildings and trains. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room cleaner in particular was especially helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The breakfast is standard, nothing too special, but it has a lot of choices.
Cons: A/C only covered the back half of the room, which is fine when going to sleep, but kind of bad at keeping the entire room cold during the day or at an even temp since the thermostat is right under the ac vent.

Pros: Clean, decent sized rooms, comfortable beds and pillows
Cons: A bit dated, but not a big deal.
Pros: Clean facility with good amenities. Super staff. Attentive and efficient. Rooms are large and equipped with everything you need to include sundries.
Cons: Location on the 50 makes for some noise in the rooms that face the highway, but it's reasonable.
Pros: Yes and thanks for good service
Pros: The room was clean and very comfortable.
Cons: The staff was rude. The greeting person at the door didn't even greet us. The staff was awkward and made us feel uncomfortable.

Pros: Love the location and the room sizes were great!
Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable. Even though we were right by the elevator, it was very quiet. The breakfast buffet had everything from eggs to pancakes to fruit and cereal. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I would recommend this hotel!
Perfect for all travelers, Hyatt Place is conveniently located near freeway access. In addition to recent design upgrades, guests can choose from several eateries and will enjoy unexpected touches with every turn.
Cons: The room was remodeled but they left the old carpet, which left a weird smell. It was dirty and had sticky spots. I had to walk around in slippers to make sure I don't step in anything gross.
Pros: Staff tried to put me in a room that was lesser than what I reserved online.
This hotel had hot breakfast every day
Pros: the location was central to where we wanted to be.
Cons: old musty smell
I finally just told him I'd take the room.
Cons: My room was next to the conference room which started up at 7:00am,Sunday there was an early church service. When I first checked in I asked for a different room on the second floor as I am a single female. The gentlemen was reluctant to even look.
This hotel has a wonderful breakfast. Is close to the freeway. Pretty close to Thunder Valley Casino and close to the Roseville Galleria Mall.
Pros: Cleanliness and friendly staff!
Pros: Very helpful in cleaning up room (bedding, floor) after granddaughter threw up.
Cons: Traffic noise from freeway on our side of the hotel. Will request other side next time we visit.
Pros: Good location, friendly staff, hot coffee, eager to please, tub, comfortable big beds. Oscar and all other staff but one afternoon manager were wonderful...
Cons: We were told local calls were free but they showed up on the bill.
This was a typical HIE. Exactly what I would expect, and just a little bit more expensive (without using Priceline) than I would be willing to pay for the quality.
Cons: The staff was rarely at the desk, and the common areas seemed to be rented out to outside groups every night we were there.
Great comfortable stay. It was one of those Priceline Express Deals, so it was a good value, too. I would definitely go back! The pool, from a distance, looked a little on the greener than I would care for, but I could not tell if this had to do with the color of the sides of the pool or not. If you are looking for organic, local breakfast with arugula and currants, this is not your place to eat. But, if biscuits and gravy, mini velveta style omlettes, pancakes made on a little machine with a conveyor belt work for you along with the typical cereal, danishes, toast, etc. offered with continental breakfasts, then you will find this breakfast a good value. There is a restaurant across the street that also serves omlettes, etc. for breakfast. This is the second Holiday Inn Express that I have stayed at in about a month, and I have to say, the beds were very comfortable for me in both places. The pillows aren't the greatest, but this is a 2.5 star type of place, after all.
Pros: I was placed in a king bed suite with lots of room. Bed was very comfortable. Everything clean and in good condition especially in the room. Could not hear guests in their rooms, so it was quiet. Easy wifi access. Warm foods served at breakfast.
Cons: Live band at restaurant right across street played loud music. (It was a Saturday Night.) I would suggest light sleepers to be placed in the back of the hotel on those nights, because the music really traveled.
After staying there in Feb., May,& July I would rate this place 0. I've booked through Priceline all three times requesting king bedroom. Feb-we were told Priceline did not get reservation in on time resulting in our having 2 tiny queen beds. Ice/vending machines were broken & cramped room was uncomfortable. May-stay was uneventful as we got what we asked for. Room was clean and comfortable. Ice/vending machines were working. July-again we were told there was no guarantee that we would get what we asked for through a third party reservation company like Priceline. Again we were assigned a room with 2 'small' queen beds in lieu of a king bed we asked for. The carpet was filthy leaving our white socks black. The bath/shower had mold in it. The chairs also were dirty. The floor we were on did not have ice/vending machines, so we had to go to another floor for these things. The breakfast advertised to start at 6 AM was not fully out by 6:15 AM. If we find it necessary to go to the Roseville area as, we definitely will find other lodgings.
Cons: The filthy carpet, the mold in the shower, the tiny room that had two 'small' queen beds making it very cramped.
good place to stay. I was on a business trip it met all of my expectations.
Pros: clean quiet & the staff were very helpful
Pros: Clean room, comfortable bed. The staff were nice and very helpful. We loved the peanut butter cookies!

Pros: You allowed us to have our dogs. The staff was very accommodating me.
Cons: The room was awkwardly furnished no table and chair a lot of open space.
Pros: Enjoyed the gym. Breakfast was healthy and tasted good.
Cons: Some road noise due to freeway proximity but if air conditioner running was not a bother.
Pros: Hotel was very clean and well organized. We stayed during some athletic competition and there were kids everywhere. Having said that the staff did a great job of resupplying the breakfast. Which is nearly an impossible feat when you have so many kids running wild with parents that could not care less. I would highly recommend great place good value
Cons: Hotel was very clean and well organized. It is next to the freeway so request a room on the opposite side. However, either side I'm sure you will be happy.
Cons: I went to have a relaxing weekend and sit by a pool get in a hot tub. The hotel was packed with kids
Pros: The people at the front desk were Very friendly
Cons: I came into town for work. I got up early Sunday to go for a run. 16 miles. I got back to the hotel at 10:03 with hopes of a good breakfast. Knowing they said breakfast closed at 10AM. I asked if I could have a waffle and got told no because it was after 10.
I was still in my running gear so it was apparent that I was busy during breakfast hours. It would have been nice to have a good meal instead of cold cereal after my run.

Pros: This hotel is right in Midtown and an easy walk to the Capitol. Nice breakfast and wonderful breakfast staffer Mar-Lyn. She could brighten anyone's day!
Pros: It's a very nice hotel, but I got a suite so my friend and I would have privacy from each other. I told him that I'd take the couch... which was not possible, because the couch was barely bigger than a lazy boy recliner and the only way I could sleep on their couch was if I slept in the fetal position... which wasn't possible. They said all their couches except the one in the handicap accessible room were small like that. Luckily they had one of those rooms left, but it wasn't a suite, so we had no privacy from each other. Also, in the "suite" the "living room" part was only about 7' x7' wide, so it would be challenging to even sleep on the floor in there it's so small. AND THE DOORS ARE MADE OF GLASS.... so once again, don't get the suite for privacy or extra sleeping space. The ONLY thing I can see the suite being good for is if someone likes to watch TV late and doesn't want to wake the person sleeping... otherwise the suites are pointless.
Overall the hotel is very nice, nice decor, friendly staff, awesome location, and walking distance to most anything in downtown. We took a Lyft to the Kings game, but walked back. I'd stay here again, but not if I was with my buddy who I didn't want to share a bed with. The provided ear plugs so we didn't have to listen to each other's snoring.
Cons: The "suite" that was pointless. See above. Also, Parking is on a first come first parked basis. Luckily we got a space and didn't have to move my car. We took a lyft to the Kings game which is way cheaper/easier than paying for parking and losing out space in the garage. Because if you get a parking space at the hotel, if you drive somewhere, your space is not guaranteed when you return.
Pros: I liked that half of the staff I encountered really cared.
Cons: I didn't like how little parking they had. Also, my key cards kept demagnetizing. The receptionist I dealt with the first time said it was because I had it near electronics, but it happened a second time and I was keeping it away from electronics. I was there for three nights and this happened twice.
Cons: The view from our outside windows.
Pros: Staff were great. Room was comfortable. Wonderfully close to all we wanted to do.
Cons: Fitness room closed
Pros: Located in midtown Sacramento . Everything is close restutants , bars, museum... etc...
Cons: Easy to go everywhere
Pros: nice place right in the middle of everything
Cons: rooms are a little small

Pros: The employees were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were very nice. The bed was also very comfortable.
Cons: No complimentary breakfast:(
Pros: Bed very comfortable. Room very nice
Cons: Youth football team staying there was disturbing and rowdy. Was not informed about about breakfast special until we ordered by then they said it was to late.
Pros: 2 people really stood out for me. Josh at the front desk and Alyssa at the Bistro. Both people are being wasted in their current positions and should be management. Josh was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and fixed my door latch, and let me borrow a charger since I left mine at home. Alyssa was so busy at the Bistro when I first met her, a huge line had form she was both efficient and friendly and her multi tasking skills were very impressive. She also remembered me from the day before and knew what I wanted to order. Thats awesome!!!
Cons: My bed was not to comfortable and I was surprise there wasn't a fridge in the room.
Pros: Comfortable beds and pretty patio. Loved the convenience of onsite bar. Jacuzzi's at the pool are a must for us, big factor in selecting a hotel.
Cons: I would have preferred a breakfast included. We are usually rushing out. And would've quick breakfast withot having to pay extra.
Pros: Parking was free
Cons: Old & run down, bathroom was to small, bed was old & pillows were so hard that I had to buy a new one so I could sleep the next night. Elevator was run down & unresponsive at times. I would never stay here again!
Pros: Indoor pool facilities.
Cons: The bed was a bit too soft for my comfort.

Cons: Strange location in back of shopping mall. AC in one room had trouble and kept cycling quickly.

Cons: Staff forgot to address gold status(free breakfast) until I checked out. Paid for two breakfasts I didn't need to...I forgot to remind clerk at check in.. This seems to be a systematic Marriott issue.
Pros: Lots of issues with room - lights not working, TV issues upon arrival and "pat" answer from engineer (remote needs new battery which we knew wasn't the issue but a problem with cable company). First night dinner in "temp" restaurant horrible. Didn't charge for one meal but just no attention to detail, wrong order. Experience better when Joie property.
Pros: Sophisticated decor, helpful staff, "beautiful people" hot spot.
Cons: The noise from both the street and partiers went on until 3 a.m. Motorcycle engines revving, police called on issues in the street, shouting and yelling in the street, all echoed right up to our 7th floor room.
Pros: The staff was great, well trained, accommodating and helpful
Cons: The room was awful! It only had 2 tiny Windows, about 1'x2'. The mattress was old and soft, we kept slidding into the middle and did not get a good nights rest.
Pros: Made a reservation for 2 guest in a queen size room. Got there and checked in @7pm and was notified that I was upgraded to a king size room, big plus on their part! The room was cozy and comforting. It also includes a beautiful bar setup along with a wonderful street view.
Cons: To be completely honest, the one thing I did not like was the shower. The rest of the room was was decorated and painted in its own style including the bathroom. But once you open the shower curtain all you see is plain, boring, tile. Both room and bathroom give off some bomb vibes, except the tile. Just kills the ambient. Other than my pity first world problem place was outstanding.
Pros: The room was nice and clean. Nice appointments. Very comfortable. Large shower.
Cons: The door on the bathroom was a slider and did not actually shut.
Pros: What an amazing historical hotel with a great downtown location. I would recommend this hotel and we'll be back.
Pros: Excellent staff. Wonderful old and superbly renovated building. Three blocks from the Capitol.
Cons: Room was small.
Pros: The restaurant downstairs was awesome
Pros: The location is nice, and the valet staff friendly and responsive.
Cons: We went to a concert that night and arrived back at the hotel at 11 p..m. The restaraunt was closed, and there is no room service avaiilable after this time. The restaurants nearby become nightclubs at this hour, and there are lines to get in. We also could not access our car because valet closes. I also felt that there now needs to be a few fixes or upgrades done. Our room was clean but there was no bathroom lock it was broken...paint touch ups need to be done, and the TV remotes replaced with easier ones to use. This hotel is best for business travelors, event guests (wedding) where they don't need to leave the hotel.
Pros: Stayed overnight for a girls weekend. I was given a complimentary upgrade upon arrival and I was very pleased with my room as well as its amenities. Beautiful Chinese soaking tub and every toiletry you can think of. Linens were excellent quality and the bed was very comfortable. We were able to enjoy the restaurant as well for breakfast and the menu and drinks were to die for! I had a very hard time deciding what have. Fresh squeezed OJ mimosas and bloody Mary's were amazing. I can't wait to have a romantic overnight with the hubby very soon!
Pros: Decor and comfort were the best. Very trendy, great food at Grange, valet, bell boy and front desk were exceptional... with the exception of one night girl.
Cons: The only staff member that " couldn't see" the LARGE ( 3 feet in length ) wine or blood or whatever stain was on my curtains in my original room. Aside from actually completing the transaction of switching my room she was not helpful. My new room keys that she gave me were only 1 out of 2 working. She didn't offer a bell cart, I had to ask. The next morning upon leaving at 5:30 and asking them to check the original room for left behind belongings- she told me " you can go check yourself I'll make you another key". AND she never alerted housekeeping for follow up with the issue. I felt like I had to do all the work for a 4 star boutique hotel in mid town. The only reason I was so displeased with that interaction was that everyone else was outstanding.
The Citizen Hotel is a 196 room boutique property with over 9,000 square feet of function space. The exterior of the building is an early 1900's classic design by architect George Selland. The interiors celebrate the history of California with unique décor that is whimsical with modern amenities. No two rooms are alike and all offer a different perspective of downtown Sacramento. Featuring a farm to fork destination restaurant Grange Restaurant & Bar which has received national accolades and is a local favorite.
Pros: I have always loved this building, and nice hotel rooms for less than $150/night are in short supply in downtown Sacramento. The Sterling gave us outstanding value for a spacious room with enormous Jacuzzi bathtub and beautiful four-poster bed in a gorgeous historic Victorian era home. Check in and check out experience efficient and pleasant, with flexibility on a little extra time for check out. I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends with caveats below.
Cons: There is on the street parking but it is metered with a two-hour limit after 8am or before 6pm Mon-Sat, so you will get a parking ticket if you sleep in. The street gutter was filled with leaves, making it a little messy for shoes and luggage. There is a $16 city lot just a block away... But it is a block away. A valet service would be ideal. As other guests have commented, some room elements such as sinks are beginning to show signs of age, but they did not detract from the outstanding value of our room.
Pros: Rooms were lovely, staff friendly (but a tad forgetful at times), location not near nightlife, but if you're looking for a place to stay with character, this is it.
Cons: Continental breakfast was the worst I have had in any hotel. I mean ever.

Pros: Great location. Walking distance to restaurants. Donut shops. Thrift store shopping everything. We stayed for an athletic event but had some time to do other stuff. Close to a 7 eleven if you need a quick snack and self parking was across the street but easy to get to. A lot of homeless in the area but there is nothing the hotel can do about that. Just be cautious when walking at night.
Pros: Clean rooms.
Cons: The TV service is worst I have seen anywhere. Very basic service. A major basketball game is on ( Warriors ) and they did not have the channel, really! This is a business hotel in Sacramento.
I go to the lobby bar and they have two flat screens circa 2005. Spend $1400 at Costco for two new flat screens.
They missed the attention to detail that is required in this market. Will not stay there again.
Pros: I loved the room service breakfast. And how close it was to everything to do in downtown Sacramento. I had such a blast and everyone was pleasant and helpful during our stay. Definitely staying here again in the fire
Cons: Cannot believe the room have no Internet connection included in the price.
Pros: Location and room
Cons: Staff didn't seem to know the area. I had to go to a coffee shop to even know what neighborhood the hotel was in.
Pros: Proximity to convention center, willingness of staff to accommodate requests

Pros: Great to have free parking as a guest. Nice and friendly folk worked there. Breakfast good and lots of options.
Cons: Tv screen was on zoom so you couldn't see the whole screen and the remote didn't allow a fix. Breakfast was too crowded so we didn't bother trying to get it the second day.
Pros: I could walk to my event down town and I could walk to the capitals as well
Cons: Amenities fairly limited, the wifi was very poor in my room. Download speed about 5MB/Sec upload speed less than 1 MB/Sec
Pros: Staff is extremely helpful and friendly - made us feel like they actually wanted us to be there.
Breakfast was great; beds were excellent; bathrooms great .
Cons: Fitness room was minimal.
Pros: Room very clean, nice attention to detail, bed very comfortable, good wifi. Love the indoor/outdoor feel of the hallways.
Cons: Breakfast very processed and ho-hum. This was my third stay here and this time my window overlooked the light rail which was noisy early in the morning.
Pros: Cleanest room I have stayed at in a long time. Very close to midtown and plenty of goody spots. Year round open pool with solar heating. Plenty of free parking to boot!!! And the shower / amenities in the room have definitely been thought over when planning the comfort of the guest.
Cons: The neighborhood didn't feel very friendly, and my room smelled very stale.
Pros: We stayed for a week-long conference at the convention center, which was three easy blocks walking distance away. The breakfast hours were convenient, and there was a wide selection of food, including waffles and biscuits and gravy. Comfortable beds, quiet rooms, and friendly staff all contributed to a pleasant stay. It was great to have a fridge and microwave in the room for storing and heating leftovers.
Cons: The only bad thing I can think of to say is that there were some holes in the bedskirts that I noticed, and the sleep function on the TV remote didn't work.
Pros: Staff were friendly, breakfast was good, good location with easy parking
Cons: Our room had a musty smell to it, as if the shower curtain needed to be changed out. We got in at 2:00 am and left the next morning. Had it not been for the brevity of our stay, we probably would have asked for a different room.
Pros: There was food
Cons: Very cramped dinning space, couldn't push stroller very well there and also no scrambled eggs were available
Pros: Room was really nice, very clean. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: The wifi was terrible, it cut out every couple of minutes. The water pressure was super weak, very hard t get clean.

Pros: Location is great. The gentleman who checked me in was efficient and polite.

Pros: Connivance was the main reason for staying . Room service for Breakfast was on time and hot . Thank you for a pleasant stay . returning soon .
Cons: My only remark to improve would be to put more lights in parking lot , very dark . I felt safe but , more lights would be a deterrent to the criminal natured and my safety .
Pros: Perfect location next to historic Folsom. We rented bicycles and rode the trail along the river.
Pros: Location is great.
Cons: A bit pricey with no breakfast included.
Pros: Just a decent Inn near Old Folsom.
Cons: I wish there were later room service options, & that the diner/bar were a little more 'updated'. Also, it'd be nice if there were some lounge areas to sit & enjoy.
