This was an UNquality Inn 1) Room phone did not work 2) Bathtub stopper did not work -- no bath tub use 3) Bathtub control knob was broken -- could not regualte temperature of incoming water
I had a room booked 2 weeks in advance. When I arrived at the hotel for check in, at 1h00 AM (after 4h of driving), there was nobody a t the front desk. I waited until 2H00AM. Nobody showed up. I left. They refunded me without any argument, tough. To me, your stay is in jeopardize if you plan to arrive late. You may not get to your room!
The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. It was very quiet and easy to go to bed. The pool wasn't open even though they advertised that it was.
Ok- so it's not the Ritz! It's Brattleboro Baby! It's a nice place where an amazing pool-spa area (looked at but never used it). I enjoyed my stay, pleasent people, complimentary breakfast. I liked not dealing w a chain. I'll stay again.
good value na
everything you need is right there cant think of anything
Dog friendly with a large area to walk the dog and outside waste cans. One of the dog friendly rooms was clean but had damage
I drove in to the parking lot and never checked in. It is not three stars- maybe 1 star. Run down, random people hanging out in the parking lot. When I asked for a refund the front desk was rude and hung up on me.
The room was very clean & comfortable. Front desk was very helpful. Will definitely be back!
We needed to stay overnight in a hotel where we could feel at home. We like the roomy proportions of the Hampton Inn chain. The rooms are big enough so you can breathe, the decor pleasantly restrained and the breakfast outstanding.
Beds and Breakfast Hot tub was not Broken and after a day of skiing that's what I needed!! Hotel offered no compensation.
Nice room. Sweet management. We got jostled around with flight reservations and they were understanding and accommodating. Nothing, really. It was a little pricey. But nice.
Convenient to Deerfield, MA, and surrounding attractions; spacious rooms; great breakfast. No complaints!
The Grab and Go bags were great! They were excellent treats for our road trip and hikes into the countryside.
The king sized bed was unbelievably comfortable, we slept so well! There weren't any bath robes
From the owners, to the charm, the cleanliness, to the homemade muffins-the Crumpin Fox Inn was wonderful!
Unlike so many hotels at this price point, everything at the inn seemed clean and well maintained. I was pleasantly surprised by nice quality towels and a cozy down comforter - definitely a step above! The WIFI was a bit spotty, and I would have liked movie channels - totally first-world problems!
This is our second time here, the owner is very friendly and nice. We get personal attention. The room is dated but clean.
the price was right people hanging out around the doors and the smoke
Friendly staff. Smelt like smoke. Very loud neighbors.
Good value and easy experience without alot of paperwork etc .
The price, the generous breakfast, the comfortable room.
Bed was so comfy but I wish they had bigger pillows. I would stay again!
Close to town, and the room had a working refrigerator There was an extremely broken Lazy Boy chair, which literally collapsed sideways. When reported, the lady at the front desk said, "um, okay". Nothing was done and it could hurt the next person. It snowed and the driveway was not plowed and had 10+ inches of snow to drive through. The bedding looked barely cleaned, and linty. No heavy blanket, summer coverlet in winter.
Room was very clean and comfortable. Good value for the money. Also included a continental breakfast.
Waffles at Breakfast NO
Close distance to McDonalds was good. Close distance to highway was also good. Breakfast was good. Too small space in the breakfast room.
The location was convenient to recreation and shopping. Rather bizarre, but, because of a major design flaw, the toilet seats could not be left open, which is rather inconvenient especially for the male guests.
It was good and meet the need at the time. No elevator, at times it was noisey.
Extraordinary bargain for a room off the highway while traveling. We just needed to sleep before continuing our drive and the hotel was perfect for what we needed. The room smelled a little bit and the sheets should have been cleaner. The bathroom desperately needs a remodel/renovation, but considering the room costs less than dinner, I have nothing to complain about.
All the rooms look out over the Connecticut River - always beautiful. The beds are REALLY comfortable (select comfort). The room is large and well appointed with a fridge. It is very convenient to I-91 and the Brattleboro area. Continental breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Packaged muffins don't cut it.
Excellent view. Friendly staff. Not a fan of the sleep number bed.

Thin walls, the TV was on 7 first night and the staff knocked at my door at 4am to ask me to turn it down. Also a large scrape on the wall from the bed obviously moving.
Beautiful hotel, and all rooms have a fantastic view of the river. Conveniently located to BrattleBoro, Vt Inconsistent room rates.
Friendly helpful staff. Well maintained- looks brand new for the age Extremely beautiful location. nice breakfast Comfortable, luxurious rooms. Great price overall. We LOVED it. had some trouble finding/getting to it- staff said they were working on correcting GPS location.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the river.
The woman who was at the desk in the evening was extremely pleasant, helpful, and a great ambassador. I would recommend she work with the day time office staff (2) to get them up to par on service excellence. Sorry, but she sets the bar really high. The breakfast room did not match the charm, and the views, of the rest of the hotel. However, for the price of the room, and the fact it was complementary, you can't complain.
Wonderful view and beautiful space in the room! Microwave would have been nice for the room we paid for!
Stay was nice and comfortable. Breakfast included; I was able to bring breakfast back to room as well. Nice staff. Pool & hot tub were closed (our reason for picking this hotel, so it was disappointing). There are not a lot to do in the area. 45 minutes from mount snow.
THE LOCATION. The lumpy bed that was covered with foam topper and the noisy air conditioner.
The owner was very accomodating And friendly. She made us feel welcome and at home.
The house is locating at an existing spot. River, wood bridge are right beside the house. The owner is very very nice and the breakfasts are great. We plan to come back in the future.
From booking to extending my stay, Lynn was super-accommodating and warm. The Crosby House was immaculate with much attention to detail. The breakfast was not only from scratch but made fresh with delicious fresh fruit and a hot entrée, served in a beautiful intimate dining room. The other couple that were at breakfast were gluten-free and Lynn provided gluten-free, individualized breakfasts for them! I will go back for sure and recommend this bed and breakfast, it is worth paying the additional cost and you get much more in return than staying at the local hotel chains.

Everything Was good. Pool was not open.
It was clean and a good value for the money. Beds were really stiff. The cooling fan was really loud. The pool was tiny. We missed breakfast one morning because our room had no book describing services of the hotel. Breakfasts aren't that good. The eggs were rubbery. The waffles are good.
Clean modern updated nice staff breakfast Shower floor slippery
Friendly and helpful staff. Super clean and modern facility Rooms were quiet as well as good size with fridge Breakfast was varied NO
HBO and breakfast The 'gym' was one elliptical and one treadmill. The pool was in a disarray at 6:10 am. No towels, beer from the night before. The person at reception was talking way to fast for the four of us to understand. Which is ironic since we are from NYC suburbs.

Great location, clean, modern and comfortable in every aspect. restaurant in same parking lot, breakfast in the morning and very good WiFi.
very helpful staff the lady in the night had everything ready for us like extra blankets etc as we were extremely tired after a very long drive coming down from canada the receptionist in the morning was fantastic and super hospitable and helpful just a very pleasant experience
It was nice and clean! The bed was so comfortable too! Also, even though I was on 1st floor near ice machine I couldn't really hear it, and got a good night sleep. My cardkey kept deactivating, and finally 3rd time a staff member told me it's my cell phone deactivating it. Breakfast could have been better as the scrambled eggs were a little watery and there wasn't even a waffle maker, but it wasnt bad though.
Clean and secure, nice location Rooms smelled like smoke, did not honor Kayak price, cigarette burns on bed and bathroom vanity. Being the cheapest hotel in town it attracted the lowlifes who figured it normal to yell and scream outside until 2am about wanting to buy and modify a MF Landover and drive around with the " homies" bathroom was tiny and took about 5 minutes to actually get hot water. No room thermostat to control temperature.
Comfortable bed for sleeping. Vermont is too beautiful to spend any time in the room except to sleep. Old worn carpet, old furniture, damp small bathroom. Bathroom sink drained poorly. No protein sources for breakfast!
There are newer rooms on the second floor. Stay only in one of those! The room was dirty and the decorating was awful. When asked if I could change rooms, the manager was not friendly and told me there was nothing she could do. Eventually we were given another room that wasn't much better, but at least it was not surrounded by smokers having a tail gate bbq in front of the room! The shower stall was a module unit that needed cleaning and the door would not close. The night tables were sticky. The breakfast offered is meager and I had to ask for milk and cereal since they containers were empty. The pool was in need of work , it didn't even have enough water in it to reach the filters.
