My wife is having to go to the Cleveland Clinic. This is close, clean, comfortable and a good value. Much better than a hotel that was recommended by the locals. Various eating opportunities close by too. A little problem with the door to the room a clerk came and showed us the "trick" to get it. It was fine the rest of the time even with no "trick" used.
The room was nice and clean They charge me three times for my room and i travel to ohio for a funeral and the day of the funeral i came out to the guys cutting the grass and there was grass all over my car i had to go to the car wash before the funeral
Very clean, comfy, and remodeled. Excellent value for the price, I would stay here again.
This was my second stay at this hotel. I intentionally booked here again because my first experience was a good one. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The hotel is older but well kept. It's close enough to get to Cleveland in a short amount of time and far enough away from the big city hustle and bustle. I liked it all. Good value for the price.
I liked the fact that it was only $35 to stay a night. we booked through expedia/kayak and booked a smoking room and got a nom smoking. The pictures said there was a jacuzzi tub in the room and there wasn't. They definitely stole the pictures from another hotel. We asked to be moved into a smoking room and they had no rooms available. We didnt want to stay and by then we had already checked in so i knew we were going to have to pay for one night but they didnt want to refund us at all! they wanted us to still pay for the whole visit which was 3 days 3 nights. We spent 3 hours on the phone with expedia/kayak customer service and the first representative didn't want to refund us anything and we had to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor was able to refund us about $180 and give us a discount off the night we stay but we had to check out the next morning. there were no other smoking rooms available at any other hotel around super 8. We had to cut out vacation short. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
I originally liked the price I was quoted only to find out later on my credit card bill I was over charged. I should have taken more time to look over but with the scene going on with the police I just wanted to get out. It gives a wacky story to tell about taking a child to college. It should have been a sign to leave when we saw the trail of blood that led to the room before ours but we stayed after a long drive to Cleveland. The room smelled like smoke in a supposedly non-smoking room and felt dirty. Not once were the sheets changed in the 3 days there nor was the trash emptied. I had to ask for clean towels but the used ones were not picked up. The tub was clogged so when you showered the water filled to ankles. From walking in the room only barefoot the bottom of our feet were so dirty. Police sirens heard throughout the night. When we checked out around 3 AM 3 police cars were in the parking lot apprehending a man who was screaming near the front desk. I have never written any review but this stay was so unbelievable I had to.
Cost Should be more clear and secure
leaving. We arrived around 2AM after driving from Sandusky (we're originally from IL) and went to check in, the desk clerk (best description since it was actually the head of house keeping and she was just "coverin' someone shift") gave us our key to our room, we went to get settled and the room wasn't cleaned AT ALL, no sheets on the bed, etc. So I went back to the lobby (if that's what you want to call it) and requested a different room, this time non-smoking, as the last room was also a smoking room even though we requested non-smoking. She said "awh, I don't even know was goin' on cause you ain't the first person to tell me they room ain't clean, but we ain't got no more rooms." So I ask if maybe there was a sister motel and she said they aren't affiliated with any other motels but when they "full up" they send people down the road to another place (other motel name not included). So I try to get a refund and since my mom was the one who treated us by paying on her card (mind you, she's still in IL) and we booked online she said she, couldn't give a cash refund and she had to call booking.com to run it. She also needed the credit card number and demanded that I call and get it (again, 2AM in Ohio and 1AM in IL) I tried to call and obviously my mother was sleeping so she didn't answer (in the meantime this lady is flipping through channels on the television, acting QUITE impatient), she gave up on the refund and gave us someone else's nonsmoking room. We go to that one and it's also fairly dirty (gross hairy tub, gross hairy sheets, bedding in general not washed and the room smelled like urine). We gave up and just put our own sheets etc. on the bed and went to sleep. Between 1030 and 11AM, house keeping is rapidly POUNDING on our door, 3x in less than 30 seconds before announcing that she was coming in. My fiancé quickly got up and she asked if "we was leaving" he replied no and shut the door, 10 minutes later I step outside to the car and she's still outside the room and now asked me "ya'll leavin' yet?" We checked out 20 minutes later unable to even get a receipt apparently once again the reasoning was because we booked online. Long story longer, avoid at all costs if you want to feel clean when you stay at a hotel.
A place to sleep . got to sleep until noon. I felt safe. People didn't bother me. No tissues. WiFi isn't free. No shampoo or conditioner ( I brought my own just trying to help others)
Location was nice. Visit was for a family wedding at 1 PM on 6-11 and since check-in time is listed as 2PM I called when I made reservations and spoke with Paula and asked her since we were driving from NY could we check-in early ? Didn't want to drive in my tuxedo. Paula told me room would be ready anytime after 11AM. My wife and I arrived about 11:15 and after we drove around the building, office entrance is not clearly marked. I went to register and was told no rooms were ready, they were full-up last night, I informed the desk clerk of my prior arrangements and suddenly our room was ready, second floor and no ramp or elevator. I had read reviews of cleanliness problems so while I brought our luggage my wife sprayed the room with Lysol. No obvious spiders but thick layer of dust on the telephone in plain view. Lack of power outlets at desk for computer and cellphone also saw a multi-plug adaptor behind refrigerator, microwave, with multiple lights plugged into one outlet. Looked like an electrical overload from a former fire investigators opinion. Bathroom was clean. Didn't get to the breakfast. Sunday AM started loading the car but when we were ready to check-out we waited at the desk and no clerk so we went out to our car only to find the clerk outside smoking. No luggage stand in room so you must either use the bed or floor to access your luggage. I did try to make a local call from my room but call would not go through ? if problem with motel or local telephone system. Nice non-smoking room but smokers outside lobby entrance forcing you to walk through smoke cloud, employees & guests. Motel was quiet, bed comfortable, and tv worked but channel guide would have been nice in stead of needing to surf to find news and weather. I would consider staying here again.
the WiFi worked good, the room was clean, they are trying hard to bring this motel up to better than a 1 star rating. they need a better vending machine and ice machine area and they don't have hair blowers.
Easy to find, good value, clean towels, reasonable wifi. Tub needed recoating, stairwells needed painting, floor was dirty.
The room was clean. The wifi was fast. The owners were cooperative. Lacking privacy. No food except a marginal breakfast called continental. No iron in the room. Sofa was small and uncomfortable. No locker to keep your valuables in. 90$ was a very high price for this room. I stayed in Hilton Garden Downtown Cleveland at the same price for a month before shifting here.
Weed smoking can be smelled in hall Staff wakes you up at 3am and at 9am Worse place to stay general manager lies about things he says and about matching prices Weed smoking and noise all night next door
The staff were very friendly. Heat wasn't working in our room, we had to sleep with our jackets on. I found an underware left from previous guest. Overall, it was a terrible experience I wish doesn't happen again.
Got upgraded to a suite at no additional cost. $30/night pet fee (about typical). Very close to restaurants and the Ohio Turnpike. Breakfast just average, but acceptable.
Our room was remodeled. The first room we were assigned was already used and they had to change our room.
NOTHING STAFF WAS RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL AS WELL AS THE OWNER. THE POOL WASNT OPEN MY GRANDDAUGHTER BROKE OUT WITH ALLERGIC REACTION TO THE PROVIDED SHEETS. I WONT EVER STAY AT ANOTHER MICROTEL HOTEL UNTIL THE CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS MAKES THIS RIGHT!!
Location. Close to all. Beds are surprisingly very comfortable. Cou be a bit cleaner. For 1 night stay it did the job. With exception to the great, obviously newer matresses, the rooms are a bit dated. Breakfast does the job but just ok. Staff is friendly. Great nights sleep. Pool was not open :(.
They did as I expected. Breakfast was a waste of time.
Dirty. They double charged me. I payed cash and the. I was charged again. The towels were brown although they were supposed t be white They were like dishrags.
Super cheap and very nice. Not like a hotel 6 at all.
Location. Front desk was very accommodating on so many levels. Great big big THANK YOU to hotel employee. Breakfast was so-so as anticipated. But there are several options nearby.
Nothing Unknown brown stains on mattress extra bedding brought up stained and with burn holes refrigerator stopped working and leaked ac didn't work correctly bad smell in room internet didn't work took an hour for computer to work to check in
