No rif raf nice and quiet nothing stollen. Would have liked to know if there were weekly rates at a discounted price.
Last minute search same night. Beds a WOW. Two king excellent price. Fast, friendly check in. Hope to have a reason for this area again! Small couch; space efficient, clean bath, flat screen, microwave, fridge, air conditioning! Awakened happy.
Location only The room stated non smoking and the room smelled like smoke horrible review
Breakfast was great employees were nice and courteous the rooms were clean and parking was easy and right in front of my room What i didnt like was the tv it was outdated and the cable sucks got like 8 channels terrible
I didn't like the hidden fees upon check in.
I was left alone. I tried to shorten my stay due to an emergency and had to cut a day; your staff basically told me oh well, too bad.
Staff is always nice. Rooms are always neat and clean. Very good facility and stay for the price. Sometimes things are broken. On this particular stay, the tub faucet dripped water when it was off, the tub drain cover was detached, and one of the outlets (the most important one by the bed) didn't work. I know they just remodeled the rooms here, which they look nice, but they should've added those lamps with the outlets on there.
Rooms were clean, large, & sparse. Wifi was very slow.
It was comfortable, clean and spacious. It was reasonably price for being so close to Knotts Berry Faem & Disneyland!! N/A
Clean and spacious Thicker bed comfortable, refrigerator, and updated TV with more channels
Nothing this place is gross and the grounds are dirty and broken down Rooms are dirty tv's are old and broken changed my room 3 times pictures are fuzzy and the screen is green I didn't feel safe staying there the maid kept coming in the room for no reason
Loved the location. Literally right next door to knotts berry farm and there was a mall across the street as well. Staff was awesome and rooms were super CLEAN. That's all I could ask for. The souvenir shop was never open.
Rooms could have been cleaner especially bathroom and tub. Construction to balcony incovenient to getting to the room. and really no wear to put the clothes unless you hung some of them.
It was a decent location and it was clean. Even though I had prepaid when I arrived the desk said they didn't have a room, only a smoking room. I had to negotiate for over 10 minutes about my confirmed reservation. Then finally a manager came over and said they would rearrange guests. I said I don't want to put anyone out of their room, they said some people hasn't checked in yet...wait? What? I had a prepaid room and yet had to argue to get it? The rooms air conditioner made a loud noise from a broken panel so we put a suitcase to stop it from wobbling. Then the fan in the bathroom didn't work so the room was steamy. I will never return.
Close to the freeway Close to different food places Bed wasnt a queen size like it said it was No ice in ice maker
The price No maid service if you dont leave early
Please write at least 15 words
it was cheap. it was not very clean, the room smell like smoke, poor service, and the toilet was broken.
The fact that is was close to where we wanted to go is the only real good thing I can say. The rooms were to small, the beds uncomfortable, but for the price you aren't going to do any better elsewhere.
Was close to knotts but not Disneyland. Disappointed since sure said it was 1 mile away.
Front desk was rude. Was told to check in after 1400, when we timed our trip to get there at 1400, we were told the room would not be ready till 1530. Ice machines were inop.
only the price I was extremely disappointed. This was close to Knotts but not Disney. I asked for non smoking because I was traveling with kids but our room wreaked of cigarettes. Rooms were tiny & the parking lot was always full & difficult to park. After 9 pm the motel was full of shady individuals walking around being loud. This would last up until about 2am. This was the first hotel I have stayed at that I didn't feel safe.
Easy to access internet. Clean room. Breakfast was juice, coffee, toast, big oranges, big apples and some bread. Easy to use ice machine. I like this inn.
It was close to our destination. Staff was helpful. Misrepresented on website - pool is extremely small; family suite does not have kitchen facilities only a small microwave and mini-fridge; tubs need resurfacing; carpet was so dirty our feet turned black.
Room smelled like Pine Sol - dirty tub (hair in tub!) filthy carpet.
The location and the rooms were amazing.
Staff was friendly and took good care of my needs!!! Carpet in bad need of a shampoo
Location The customer service was horrible. The lady at the front desk did not fully understand English. Ive stayed at this hotel numerous times and not once did they charge me a $150 incidental fee. It was never mentioned at all. I will not be returning here again. I found a Howard Johnson on the same street with a great breakfast, amazing customer service and huge, clean rooms!
Really spacious room, re-modeled so pretty new/nice. Free breakfast. Pretty cheap and close to Disneyland. The towels were stained/dirty as well as the bed sheets and pillow cases. It seemed like they hadn't changed the sheets from whoever had used them previously. The shower pressure was so intense it hurt. The bathroom was pretty old - didn't seem to have been re-modeled like the rest of the room.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Well worth it for the money. They did not put coffee envelopes in the rooms each day. We were there 3 days. They did have coffee/continental breakfast in Hotel office, but we would have liked to make out own, as we woke up after they cleared the continental breakfast.
The person who checked us in was nice and friendly. First of all, we got a king bed when I specifically asked for 2 queen beds. The king bedroom smelled musty. We were given a room with 2 queen beds after requesting a different room. This new room smelled a lot nicer but it didn't have any lighting fixtures by either bed. So if you wanted to read while in bed you couldn't. Nowhere was there a clock to be found either. Then, there was only 1 washcloth for the 3 of us. We will not book here again.
Clean place... new paint, over all a decent place to sleep. Front desk person (male) was rude when we asked if we could have a later check out being that we unexpectedly checked in at 4am..and his reply was " well thats not my problem" was just flat out rude. Regular check out was 11am- we only needed a hour being that we had 2 small little ones with us ..he ended up allowing the later check out but was rude about it.
The location was very close to the attractions I wanted to visit The morning breakfast, needed more variety
I love that this hotel had wifi! It really helped on my trip
This hotel was in a questionable neighborhood my employees stay here I booked their rooms they very frightened and got very little sleep. There was no hot water and ants in the shower. same as above
The ceilings are a special artistic treat! Simply amazing It's not in an area you wanna stay but it's close to where you wanna go!
The room was in good condition. No dresser and no blow dryer in room. Beds were clean. Pretty average for 2star hotel. The staff did try to keep an extra $10 from my change. The male staff made me go to the arm to pay him because he couldn't figure out his debit machine. When we came back the female role me my payment was $95. T was 85. then purposely gave me wrong chang
Friendly Staff. Very hospitable. No coffee pot in the room and tried to order food to be delivered with absolutely no luck.
The service was great, the room was clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating! There is also a police station a couple of blocks away. The area is shoddy at best and the clientele was a bit shady --during my stay I saw several people use a room for an hour or two followed by a quick clean up.
The room was clean and comfortable. Large screen, plenty of room, good internet. The wood floors better than carpet. The ceiling was painted with a mural which gave the room character. This was as good a 2 star that I have seen, and better than some 3's. The towels were not smooth, but rather rough; definitely need softner.
Very nice people, close-enough to the Aquarium, etc., parking right in front of the room. Little fridge, microwave, hair dryer. Definitely adequate for our needs. The kid got a kick out of the black light painting on the ceiling. Bed was a little hard, not awful. Could've used a couple extra pillows and the soap is very tiny.
The room was very clean. The location wasn't That desirable
Rooms were okay Mattress too hard. No ice available. Could also use small coffee pots with all the supplies in room. Had to go out and buy coffee in the morning.
Super friendly staff and extremely clean rooms. Will definitely stay there again. Loved having the microwave and refrigerator in the room. Also it was very conveniently located :-) Beds were a little hard and just a few noisy neighbors, the walls are kinda thin.
The hotel is conveniently located and fairly well kept. The room had a refrigerator, a microwave, and a hairdryer. There was also a bathtub, not just a shower. There was also a little table and chairs. Parking was free and fast food and gas is nearby. The area of town isn't great, but it's okay. We felt safe enough. The walls are a little thin, but not too bad. The bedding was just the sheets and the bedspread - though we probably could have got a blanket if we asked. The heater was loud, but worked.
Everything! The manager was nice the room was clean and the view was nice.
Location and breakfast. rooms clean and very well maintained
The ambiance of the room/place is not good. My 6-year old son said the place is creepy. I didn't like our room,1st day my son and i couldn't sleep because of the 2 mystery doors. My husband called the office and asked what are those two creepy doors. They said the 1st door is an old kitchen and 2nd one is a connecting door to the other room. The bedsheets were pretty dirty,my husband asked them to change it but they didnt. They just fixed it. Good thing i am not scared of spiders. In the bathroom you will see some. No microwave. I am sorry for the bad review. What i like is that the motel is near the airport and free parking.
Good location and staff. Rooms are clean, site is in decent neighborhood and a good value for the money. Bathrooms are a bit dated but clean and functional. Easy access to LA area right off the PCH. It's a comfortable place to stay for the money. Contential breakfast is decent. Don't expect a luxury hotel, but it's decent & comfortable for the money. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for good value.
That I would not cancel my reservation.
Good rate as it's not easy to find a decent room for under $100/night in LA area. Staff is professional. There's a security guard in the parking lot at night. For the room I stayed in, the bathroom had a strong smell - it could be someone smoked in there even though it's supposed to be a non-smoking room. The neighborhood is sketchy. "Paid" Wifi connection was way too slow that I had to ask for a refund. I've stayed at other Motel 6 locations for similar rate with nicer room.
I loved the room overall. It felt like a studio apartment. Gave me a home feel and not like I'm in a hote room. Staff was extra friendly and helpful. Only thing I didn't really like was the parking situation.
I really liked how the room was remodel and the price. I did not like the service at all. It was so unprofessional and they were rude.
Booked 11 days, but added a couple of additional nights. Jasu the proprietor offered excellent reduced rates for my 'booked' stay. Free Wi-Fi and daily cleanups were appreciated. Safe area with no strange characters about. 605 and 91 were nearby as well as well as restaurants. Would stay there again. Charges for ice to fill your room bucket. Just a few TV channels.
The staff is hospital, room and bathroom size is OK, nothing special.
Front desk was very nice. It was peaceful and very clean. The air conditioner didn't get the temper I prefer.
nice quiet and clean tv channels suck
Not at all. Horrible room. Tiny. Pubic hair/spiders in bathroom and super rude staff. Never going back
The staff was really friendly and helpful when I needed it. The tv didn't have a wide selection, it didn't allow you to change to watch a dvd (I had brought my xbox along) my bathroom door appeared as if someone punched a hole in it & yanked the door open while it was locked. The room also had a kind of musky odor to it. But for $60 a night I got what I paid for.
Close to freeways. Really dirty. Carved graffiti on bathroom mirror. Bed was smelled and really uncomfortable. No soap offered at all. Not even hand soap. Terrible customer service. Wouldn't even let me check a bit early.
Locked door works I reserved a non - smoking room n gave my non- smoking room away. The smell was disgusting, the towels smelled dirty, tiny and were rough. There were cigarette buds behind the bed and we had a refrigerator that didn't work. I let the staff know three times that the refrigerator wasn't working and they give me the run around. The staff let me know there was no refund and the staff are Very Rude!
Big and comfortable bed, lot of space in room Shower didn't work, we used bucket to shower ourselves. When we started water to run, thousands of ants came into the bath. Seriously, it was terrible and freaky, I even filmed it! Phe
Nothing: got a non smoking room but the room smelled like smoke. This hotel should have been half the cost of what it charges. I got the room because of cost and conveniency. As I get to my car to go run an errand, police officer followed me out and pulled me over. He questioned me and when I told that I was just visiting, he informed me not to go back because of the suspicious activities going on in that hotel. I ended up only staying one night instead of the 2 nights and lost out on my money. I highly suggest you take this hotel off your site.
I booked a room for one night for my family. This place is the scariest motel ever. It basically is used for long term stays by everyone there. They must keep one or two for nightly stays. I saw alot of activity going on here that was very scary to myself and my family. We were basically confined to our room because we were so frightened. I didn't even sleep the whole night because I thought something might happen. So please please please if you have a family DO NOT stay here.
The lady owner at the front desk will price match and/or will have a lower price than priceline. Mattress was horrible. Springs poking you in everything.
Spacious rooms Price, should be lowered on sun-thurs
room size was fairly large for the cheap price we paid
I thought this hotel was nice and very quiet. Staff was friendly and the hotel was well taken care of. They had a very nice flower garden down the whole front of the hotel. The only negative thing I can say is that the pool waas freezing.
The room was clean. The road noise was pretty bad, the smell of the room was unusual, there was a homeless looking person wheeling a shopping cart through the parking lot in the early evening. I will never stay at a one star hotel again.
It was very quiet and it was a nice place to stay were the bed was very comfortable and breakfast was good not much but it's was a good way to the morning I like everything
My daughter and I checked into our room which was supposed to be a non-smoking room. It was not. The room had patches all over the walls where it looked like someone kicked and punched holes. The carpet was stained, frayed, and lumpy. The bed was pathetic and the dresser drawers wouldn't shut and they had graffiti on the inside of them. We told the lady that we could not stay there. So she gave us a key to a new room. It was better - or so I thought it would be. When I went to take a shower, I turned on the tub faucet and a CHUNK of tiny ants spurted out. This place is next to a nasty little liquor store where creeps hang out. It appears that some of the rooms are occupied by long-term renters who are scary.

Location was good. Bed was fixed and clean. Welcoming enough. Facilities and rooms need updating. Rust on anything metal and needs new paint. For just an overnight stay it was fine but not for a vacation stay.
Cheap, friendly, close to town. No TP in the room upon arrival, clearly layers of carpetting piled on each other, desk clerk lost four fingers on one hand.
The staff was great. A very clean hotel. This hotel is out dated. Needs paint and upgraded bathrooms. Carpet is worn so it looks dirty, which it isnt. It also needs more parking. Has one third that it needs. Our car was three deep. Also this is not the best neighborhood!!! Y-fi didn't work most of the time. The continental breakfast could be upgraded also. 2 cerals, coffee, juice, bananas and chocolate chip mini-muffins. That was it.
Nothing. Stayed there on a Friday night and the music from restaurant/club across the street was blaring till about 2am. Bathroom was practically in disrepair. Sink faucet knob turned all the way around and didn't stop-- you had to find the sweet spot to turn it off. Tub drain plug was laying outside drain. Location was sketchy. Key card didn't work at the back entrance, so I had to walk all the way around. When I told the front desk person that I needed a new key card, he said I didn't-- it worked everywhere else except the back door.
Reasonably priced, close to nearby restaurants, coffee shops, bus station and attractions. Awoke in the middle of one of the nights to a honking car in the parking lot. Lots of traffic noise in this location. Poor breakfast choices. No air conditioning in the hallways.
nothing everything cancelled our reservations I would never consider staying at the Vagabond. The male at the desk was very inconsiderate. No customer service.
It was disgusting! Bathroom was dirty. No wifi connection
Nothing Unclean, bad service, not recommended to stay
Checking Out There was no power when we got there so we were given candles to light the rooms. No electricity for two days. Roomed smelled and the candles they gave us smelled worse.
The room was a good size, but that's about where the compliments end. Some of the staff were very friendly, but there seemed to be some neglect of keeping things on track at the front desk. *see the rest of my review* The parking was inadequate to say the least. The flooring in the bathroom was coming up in several places. The beds were VERY loud, so not great when you're trying not to wake up everyone else in the room when you move any bit. The breakfast, while I didn't expect much, was even worse then expected. There was only apples, bananas, some prepackaged danishes, mini super sweet chocolate chip muffins, 2 types of cereal in some plastic storage containers to pour from, and then the breakfast drink in a fountain drink style machine. The pool was unheated, not that I really expected it to be, and for some reason, you weren't allowed to get back to your room, after going in the pool, using the elevator. The walls of the hallway had air pockets in the paint. It seemed like it needed a renovation about 10+ years ago and they're still putting it off. Windows don't really do much to keep out sound or air. The AC never got the room cool at night even when we had it at 60° the entire stay. The elevator was very janky and made weird noises as it slowly moved. There were so many things wrong, I'm sure I'm forgetting many. Also, while I was there, someone came out of the elevator smoking a lit cigarette which made the elevator just a cloud of smoke. I have asthma and smoke highly affects me and I was shocked. I braved the elevator with my shirt over my face and trying to hold my breath as long as possible since I was on the top floor and wasn't able to take the stairs. I then went straight to my room to call the front desk so they could do something about it, and the line was busy. I assumed it was still busy down there seeing as I just came from there, so waited a few minutes and tried again, and got the same thing. I tried a few more times over the next 15-20 minutes and it was a busy tone the whole time. I could see the front desk from my room's window and so I checked to see if it was really that busy right then, and it looked empty other than the worker behind the desk. I saw the guy there not on the phone and had called right before and after I looked out the window and still got nothing. As it was already almost 10 and my friends had already gone to bed; I couldn't keep calling the front desk. When I told them in the morning at check out, they basically said that there is nothing they can do about what people choose to do when they know they're not supposed to do said thing. Maybe they could've if they'd picked up the phone and not left it off the hook. They had video camera too. This seems neglectful of them. I will not be going back for many reasons and do not recommend to others.
The pool was closed and their idea of continental breakfast was cereal and bananas. :(
It was a great deal, close enough to the convention center, the room was big and nice.
