This family run hotel was extremely comfortable, there weren't many guests but the staff paid us every attention and we were able to relax. I would reccommend the hotel to others and would like to return in warmer weather. There were a few small points that could be improved in the room eg. provide hairdryer, kettle and larger mirror.
A very nice and helpful family lives in a beautiful quiet comfortable farm, with their own wine, vegetables, herbes... It was a wounderful experience for us!!! Thank you!!! no, everything was perfect!!!
lovely hotel, nice surroundings, great staff , food excellent.
The setting was fantastic. The host was brilliant - she spoke perfect english and was so passionate about the vineyard and food. She gave us an indepth tour of the vineyard and cellar. We had dinner on the terrace and it was the most amazing four course meal, matched with their great wine. Staying at Antica Tindari was the highlight of our trip to Sicily.
The hostess and the food were both excellent. The staff really make you feel at home. The size and location made for a very peacefull stay. Nothing.
Quite, warm atmosphere, you are treated as a family number, lovely rooms with big balconies, fantastic view, great food! The landlady is a very special person. tricky country road
We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Antica Tindari. The family run agriturismo provides a personalised service which is also very professional.Good food, large comfortable rooms and lovely, tranquil surroundings.
Friendly atmosphere, friendly people, excellent food and drink, very nice views from both terrace and restaurant
The ambiance and gracious support by the owners was magnificent! The accommodations as well as the setting was about as beautiful as you could imagine! Tucked into the hills around the city of Patti, there were breathtaking views of the vineyard, olive groves, herb gardens, vegetable gardens and the sea from our large balcony. The cuisine was superb! There is nothing we did not like about Antica Tindari! Everything was wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!
Really nice B&B up in the hills, not far from the coast and from the Tyndaris Greek & Roman ruins. The accommodation is in the middle of a vineyard, with fantastic views over the hills and down to a glimpse of the sea. The food is amazing, the wine's great and the staff are wonderful. One tip I'd have - I didn't have a car and it'd probably be handy to have one to get down to the beach and have a look around the area. If you like walking, it's not too hard to get around though, apart from a long walk back up the hill.
This was a unique opportunity for our group of four to visit a Sicilian hillside winemaking operation. Owner operator is extremely accomodating with her time in showing and explaing to her guests the grape growing and wine making operation. While there are only four rooms, all new and of significant size and with a great view over miles of country side, adding this hotel to your vacation plans will provide you with favourable memories. The hotel offers great food along with their own 6 superb wines. The owner is a knowledgeable and classy lady and as we arrived by train she graciously picked us up and drove us back. nothing we did not like.
The hotel was good however very remote in the middle of small village. We have decided to leave after the second night. The staff and all the information was in italian staff hardly spoke any english, the spa is nothing special and very difficult to use (a lot of poxy rooms spread all over 3 floors).
Nice big outdoor swimmingpool. Clean rooms. Good breakfast. It was difficult to find the hotel by night and it was not possible to drive to the hotel by car. No parking. We stayed only one night and we hardly saw anybody in this big hotel.
It was one of the cleanest hotels we had doing our 3 weeks in Europe. The locations was great. The scenery was beautiful. Would stay there again if we return to Europe. None at all everything was great.
Beach front with activities staff. Food was good for the price. The caffe/bar was fun at night. Ridiculous to have to wear swim caps in their pool.
Simple room, location Noisy rooms, thin walls! Dining room
That the beach was right there. They didn't say any thing about paying for the beach umbrella spot in the amount of 40 Euros, and 20 Euros for four bathing caps that we needed for the pool. In addition, the lunches and dinners were to expensive for the kids. They charged the same price for my 2 year old and 9 year old as they did for us. Upon my arrival the room that I booked was not available. The put us in a room that was for two adults and one child and told me it was a quad because there was four beds. The room was cramed and we could not even open the balcony door without moving the bed out of the way. If I had not complained they would have left us in that room. We stayed in that room for 3 nights as there was nothing available and we paid the price quoted.
