All the little touches have been thought of, from wine and canapés each evening, port and chocolate provided during the turn down service, and a healthy and tasty breakfast to get you going in the mornings. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Pros: The view from the room was stunning and being able to see the cruise ships arriving and departing Auckland was great. And they had air con which was essential in this heat.

Pros: View is unbeatable, breakfast each morning is top notch and very easy (select what you want and time and give the note back to the owner). Rooms are well equipped with modern facilities.
Cons: Location is quite far from from restaurants/bars/shops on Waiheke without having a car, and taxis are quite expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding place! We enjoyed every single minute and wished we could have stayed longer than 3 nights. Everything is just perfect, especially to mention: the view, the hot tub where you can enjoy the sunset with a glas of excellent wine from Waiheke (which can be of course purchased there and by the way: excellent selection!), the bed, the delicious breakfast, the whole facility and of course and last but not least Andy and his wife who really take care of everything (Andy even picked us up from the ferry terminal and drove us back there on the day of departure), always give advice on best locations (vineyards, beaches, how to get along on Waiheke Island, etc.) and make the stay an unforgettable experience.
Cons: That we had to leave!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view was perfect and nice location. I want to go here again.

We stayed on Waiheke for a family wedding at Mudbrick which is located 10 minutes from the house. Brett very kindly offered to drop us at the venue on the day. Chica their little dog is absolutely gorgeous! Wheather you’re a canine lover or not, you’ll be sure to fall for this furry one.

Pros: The house was amazing, and the private peaceful location was exactly what was needed after a busy day touring vineyards. Our hosts could not have been more accommodating. We particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast served with the other guests. We looked forward to this as it provided a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow travelers and share tips about the places we'd been on the island.
Cons: Whilst I found everything to be excellent, my partner found the bed to be firmer than he would have liked.

Seadream - Oneroa - Bedroom
5
9.7 Excellent (46 reviews)

With a stay at Seadream in Waiheke Island, you'll be steps from Oneroa Beach and a 4-minute drive from Palm Beach. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location of Seadream is excellent. Facing Oneroa Beach with a short walk up the driveway you are in the middle of the village. Mandie picked us up from the ferry, which was great as we hadn’t done any research in how to get to the accomodation. The deck overlooking the beach got a good workout.
Cons: It’s not big but it’s sufficient for a short stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful unit in Oneroa village with quiet garden and lovely sea views. We stayed in the Kowhai unit (1 of 2) which was a nice double and offered sea views from the room. Comfortable bed and awesome shower. Self catering helped with a Microwave, Frypan, Toaster and tea and coffee making facilities. In the village so close to shops and restaurants including the 4 Square grocer and the walking path to the beach is right next to the property. Large deck and comfortable outside and inside loungers. Tui’s in the garden and just 1.5 km from ferry. We will be back thank you.
Cons: Leaving - very nice
7.0 Good
Pros: No breakfast. Good Location. Great view
Cons: Has a slide shower which is normally a great asset. However the shower nozzle was loosely held on the slide so it drooped facing the wall and not on us. NEEDS REPAIR. Ventilation is an issue if you want to secure the unit at night. Needs a separate window . Mattress is not good for someone with a dodgy hip. Far too firm. Difficult sleeping
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant location great sea view, loved the outdoor patio, nice and cosy for the two of us.
Cons: There was nothing not to like. We loved our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was fantastic overlooking Oneroa beach just metres from the township but being down a drive we were away from all the hustle and bustle of town, on our arrival there were Tui's singing in the Trees adjacent to the unit. The deck had a superb view of Oneroa Beach and the bay. The unit was very quiet, just the lapping of waves on the beach which was very restful, have no hesitation recommending this site to anyone. Our host even picked us up from the Ferry although we chose to walk back when we left as it was only a short 20 min walk (mostly downhill)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Was quiet with an amazing view. So close to everything you need. I will definitely stay there again and have not stopped telling everyone how wonderful the view was.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect - easy to get to, so close to the shops and cafes but quiet and private with a stunning view. The breakfast making facilities suited us perfectly. Mandi was a lovely host.

Pros: Mandie was awesome! She showed us around the little town of Oneroa and even picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry! The studio was very clean, location was great, and the views were amazing!
Cons: Nothing we didn’t like.

Pros: Joyce and Guy were amazing hosts who made us feel home so naturally! Their house and its surroundings are peaceful and relaxing. The apartment was comfy and well equipped. Pros: Everything was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Guy & Joyce are the loveliest hosts! The accommodation is beautiful with a stunning view (you can see the sea from the balcony) and we arrived to a fridge full of milk, juice & fresh fruit. We extended our stay because we loved it so much! Hopefully we’ll be back again one day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place was cosy, clean and comfortable. It had a calm, homely, very pleasant feel. Milk, cereal, orange juice, tea, fresh coffee was provided. One of the owners provided fresh pears and fresh grapes grown on the property. These were the best grapes I have ever tasted! The owner I interacted with is a lovely, sweet, caring man. Kitchen / living room area, bathroom, bedroom. Comfy bed. Fan. Great views. The place also felt a great combination of private but also safe (not too remote - near to others too). I got a last minute room at this place after deciding to leave a rather dirty and chaotic hostel and could not have been more relieved at what I saw when I opened the door, it was a sanctuary! Highly recommended. Oh and you may want to buy some olive oil from the owners who also make olive oil from olives on their property.
Cons: No flaws.

Pros: The motel is run by a super nice couple! Really wanted to be as elegant as them a few decades later, giving people a really wholesome and soothing vibe. They made fantastic afternoon tea and exquisite cafeteria-style breakfast. Room was super clean and tidy. There was even a cute balcony to enjoy the sunshine of this lovely and peaceful island, which was exactly beyond our expectation. Wish to see you again!
Cons: Our phones were out of service around this location, but we could compromise with their fast and reliable WiFi :)

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great Breakfast, host, and location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous hosts and they make you feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. They are customer focused and very knowledgeable and very easy and efficient to correspond with prior to arrival. The afternoon teas they provide are not only complementary but very scrumptious and very plentiful ... it was a sin we didn’t have enough tummy space to devour every last crumb. Would have no hesitation in rebooking and staying next time we venture to Waiheke and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it to others. With the varying levels you just need to be mindful with sight issues but handrails are plentiful.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely breakfast, well presented and on time! Kind and friendly owner/manager. Very accommodating.
Cons: Not really the best place for the cold winter months. But heaters were good and beds were warm.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: A unique space with beautiful gardens and well-maintained caravans. The staff left a personalised note with my room key as I had checked in late. Thoughtful touches (toiletry items, wash cloths) located shared bathrooms. All communal spaces were clean, great kitchen facilities. I wish I could have stayed longer to just enjoy the space! Very chill vibes.
Cons: Location is the only con - you have to have your own transportation or it can be a challenge getting to and from Wai-Knot, especially at night. There are no streetlights so be careful while walking in the dark! From the last bus stop in Onetangi it is about a 20 min walk uphill and taxis on the island are expensive. Bus to Oneroa was around 45 mins (everything runs on 'island time').
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Welcoming, wonderful fresh organic breakfast, location
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Caravan was very cosy. Hostess is very welcoming and helpful. Short walk to wineries, beach and local island bus.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The creativeness of converting a caravan for a bedroom
Cons: Lighting on the pathways between the caravans and utility shed
6.8 Good
Pros: The location works well if one has a car. The site is lovely with a carefully manicured forest ambiance. They beds were very comfortable
Cons: Although it was sold as a "motel", at a mid range motel price, it was a bit more of a campground than I expected. The toilet, shower and kitchen facilities were a bit further away than had I thought that they might be. The rooms were small, and the tiny cramped 50's style camp trailers (caravans) could get very cold at night during a cold snap. But they were charming and convenient when the weather was fine. Waikehe has become absurdly expensive over the years, so considering the hyper inflated prices of the island, this was a good deal. I would go again.
6.3 Good
Cons: I thought the price was high for what I got
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, cosy, quiet, relaxed. Wonderful beds. Beautiful garden setting
Cons: Nothing could have been better
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I stayed in one of the cosy caravans which was situated within a tropical setting, decked verandah, and a short walk up to the amenities. The bed was very comfortable. The furnishings are lovely, and a kettle, cups, fridge is provided. Everything is spotless. The large community house is very comfortable and homey, with cooking facilities, coffee plunger, etc and fresh delicious golden-yellow yolks eggs from chooks on the property provided each morning from the owner. Great to make egg dishes for breakfast in a beautiful setting. There’s also lovely outdoor settings, pool table, barbecue, everything one could wish for. Wai-Knot is well placed near the start of Obsidian winery and a wine trail. It’s about 10 mins walk downhill to a most stunning beach, Onetangi, and about 20 mins back. Good exercise! This is a well designed and unique place to stay and enjoy the gorgeous Waiheke Island.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great host. Really comfy bed. Very peaceful.

6.3 Good
Pros: Views were amazing
Cons: Bit over priced, while experiencing the fine dining we saw a rat running around in the main lounge
9.5 Excellent
Pros: My husband, daughter and I love travel. We travel quite a lot whenever we can. But honestly we can not always travel in a luxury style. The view is unbelievable beautiful there. All facilities there - The spa, the swimming pool, bedroom & living room are beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and very healthy and served like at your own home - quite but in a luxury beautiful scenery surrounding. We went through everything around the property and tried not to waste even one minute to enjoy breathtaking view there. Thank you - Sarah! Thank You - the Chef - Grace for being so patient with us when we went up and down there with so many questions and treating us like family members in such a luxury beautiful home. It is the best Mother's Day for me and for my Mum.
Cons: Hope we can stay there longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best accommodation I have stayed. Everything is excellent. Looking forward to come back again.
Cons: Maybe just the water pressure from the shower tap is not enough. But it is understandable as the lodge use tank water.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing views, perfect location to explore the island and really helpful staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and the facility was superb. Can't fault it - just what we needed to pick us during a cold winter.
7.5 Good
Pros: What me and my partner liked the most what the service by one of the staff, his name was Nico. He is 10/10 Views were also amazing
Cons: We didn’t like the owner of the property’s attitude. She was very arrogant and rude with her staff. Her dogs also hang around in the kitchen where my breakfast was being made and they also pooped on my front yard and no one removed it. Staff also go into our rooms while we were out without our consent about 3 times a day. But what we REALLY DIDNT LIKE, was the fact that we payed an exorbitant amount of money to have a luxury property for my birthday where it included an amazing dinner by a well known chef... unfortunately there was no dinner available on the days of our stay and that was pretty much the reason we booked this room. We got told about this after our payment had been confirmed. Very disappointing. We purposely searched for the most expensive property on the island expecting the best of the best and we only got let down. After traveling for so many years and staying at extraordinary hotels, resorts, etc we won’t recommend Delamore lodge.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The view was absolutely one of the best we’ve ever seen. The property is quiet and perfect for relaxing. The staff was attentive without be annoying. They also were extremely helpful with booking tours and appointments. Loved the complimentary appetizers and wine each evening.
Cons: Was a little pricey but the views, service and evening wine made it worth it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great Manager, Awesome Staff, High Class Chef
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is fabulous and everything about it was great, the food was delicious and the staff and facilities are awesome.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sarah and her staff were exceptional, warm friendly and just perfect at their job. Everything from massages to kayaking to dinners out at breathtaking restaurants was organised. Dinner on the last night cooked by Brenton (master chef) was just mouthwatering with a view and sunset to match. What a holiday... one I will never forget.
Cons: The deckchairs on your private balcony. Uncomfortable and the finger trapping variety... need a re-think. But the view did make up for it.

Pros: Peaceful. Great views. Relaxing because I was the only one in my area so had everything to myself
Cons: Mosquitoes in the room. Made the mistake of leaving a window open and spent hours through the night killing literally dozens of mozzies. Was not fun
10.0 Excellent
Pros: View was amazing and the beds were so comfy!! Liked the milk in the fridge
Cons: Our milk froze in the fridge overnight unfortunately
7.5 Good
Cons: sharing the one bathroom and one toilet with two other rooms. that was a lot of waiting.

Pros: Lovely friendly hosts and great little apartment for a stay over. Great views too!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love everything about this place
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing hosts friendly and helpful thankyou and loved the view relaxing place to stay
7.5 Good
Pros: The Welcome Kate & Col sign was gorgeous! Our hosts were lovely & gave us good local tips... Eg, how to find man o war winery. I think the $150 per night was a little high, but it fits in with the rate for the island, so all good. The shower had good water pressure, especially for a place with tank water only........ ☺️ We were very happy at the loft.
Cons: Having a kitchen sink would be good, but we managed quite well with the plastic tub provided, & our hosts had also offered to wash any dishes if we left them outside. Perhaps an extra pair of pillows would be good too
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Property is on great location awesome view of sea from uphill. Away from crowd, peace location no disturbance at all.
Cons: There was nothing what we didn't like it. It was a great place to spend with your partner. Atmosphere of the room made by the owners is just fabulous. ✨✨✨✨✨
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice quiet location with great views. Hospitality was also great.
Cons: Everything was to our satisfaction. We had everything we needed for our weekend away.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The Jazz Lof is located quite far from the crowds of tourists, but at the same time, close enough to restaurants and shops, and just a few minutes from the beach. Thank you and Claus for the warm welcome. Klaus's light guitar sounds made our morning coffee on the terrace unforgettable.
Cons: Toilet's soundproof
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Amy and Klaus were lovely and the place had a nice view
Cons: it was fine staying there as an individual but I think the layout of the room isn’t ideal for couples. Nowhere to put your bag, sloping roof over one side of the bed and no option to securely have windows open when sleeping so I got very hot.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The view and decor.
Cons: Said it came with akitchenette yet there was no easy way to fill the kettle. Also need to do something about the wasp nest nearby.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Had a brilliant stay at Oneroa Gardens for 2 nights. We were visiting for a wedding at Mudbrick Winery and it was the perfect location for exploring town, coastal walks and vineyards. Hosts could not have been friendlier and were always available for advice and provided a lovely breakfast both days. It’s great to have the outside patio space to chill out in. Room itself is clean, a good size and was perfect for what we needed. We paid by card on arrival.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is clean and the hosted was very nice and friendly.
Cons: Low shower, Low ceiling, There was a cat came into the room and sleep on the bed when we open the room door.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly host, extremely clean, spacious
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, prepared breakfast on time, cleanness, sit in front of small garden for breakfast or chatting.
Cons: It would be better if a ventilator is installed so that to get rid off damp carpet smell and get better indoor airflow.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hosts are what makes this property which is only a single guest room. Steve and Cathy are kind, helpful and gracious hosts. Really enjoyed chatting with them and their recommendations are spot on. Continental breakfast is a bonus. WiFi is good.
Cons: Booking.com advised that the property does not take credit cards and this is not the case, they do take credit and debit cards.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was lovely
7.5 Good
Pros: We were absolutely looked after in the best possible way. Due to a mistake, we didn't have a booking for one of the two nights, but in a couple of phone calls they managed to find us an alternative place where to stay.
Cons: I would expected a bit better room and toilet from the review, however, they are absolutely okay especially if you are in Waiheke for exploring wineries. Be careful with mosquitos, they are feral all over the island, so make sure you have something to keep the away at night. Do not leave the window and the door of the toilet opened when sleeping in summer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice place close to everything. Very nice hosts.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Cathy and her family were lovely, very accommodating and the breakfast was much more than we expected!
Cons: As the accommodation is under the main house it was a bit noisy at times.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: location great we took our own breakfast
Cons: nothing to mention
4.5 Okay
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the bed in our unit was uncomfortable as we kept rolling into the midldle of the bed. Our unit was not very clean and there were Daddy Long Legs in the bathroom. The entire complex really needed to be to be redecorated as everything was very dated. The lock in the bathroom was faulty and I was locked inside the bathroom three times, there was a long metal rod that you could open the bathroom door with from the other side however this wasn’t explained before we went into the unit and there was no one in the office so my husband had to phone to explain that the bathroom had locked of it’s own accord and the door could not be opened. A staff member told him about the metal rod that was kept in the kitchen drawer that would open the door. There were some anxious moments especially as we had small grandchildren visiting our unit and were worried they would lock themselves in.
Cons: The bathroom lock situation, very stressful
6.8 Good
Pros: Good location- handy for the bus. Not much life in the area in the evening
Cons: The first room allocated was damp and had a strong smell of mold. Fortunately we were given a much nicer room
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff were helpful, close to bus route was good. Room was clean
Cons: We thought the room was a bit dated and tired, did expect better for the price
6.3 Good
Pros: Even though I have a lot to say about what can be improved on, we still enjoyed our stay in our large unit. And I found it more affordable than I was expecting on Waiheke. I think the people manning the office were lovely and happy to restock at any time and informative about the island.
Cons: I think you need to look at your beds. My hip was very sore for a few days after staying and my daughter said their beds were very hard. Also, we couldn't get the heat pump to warm up the unit. It would only blow cold air. On arrival we found a lot of daddy long legs in the corners and ants all over the kitchen se we went and bought some bug spray straight away. People we were travelling with commented on the smell from the sewerage tank and cleanliness of the spa.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome - near vineyards and bus stop
5.8 Okay
Cons: We booked early we thought, three -four months beforehand. We could not take the booking for the first night and it could not be recovered through letting it for a single night. We were prepared for this, however we thought because we were the last to arrive on the Saturday for the Easter weekend, that we were allotted the worst room. We did not check this. The motel was one that was tucked down a steep slope, needing a torch at night, behind a tall fence with little to show we were on Waiheke, especially when the advertising promotes an outlook. The cost for this motel needs to reflect its many shortcomings. The bed and shower were great and it did warm up quickly to disguise the damp, musty smell on entry. There was no stove top to cook on and the kitchen sink had replacement taps that just should not have been fitted there. The bathroom vanity was the smallest found in a motel, with a shelf above so poorly placed that you could not bend over the sink. The hosts were lovely and very friendly and helpful. I hope that the owners can spend more money on updating the older, 1980s, units or at least reduce the room rate on those that need an overhaul.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location and good breakfast start up supplied
Cons: No leeway with booking after being delayed by weather out of our control after advising we still wished to stay 2 nights we were disappointed to learn we would be charged the 3 nights at full price
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The View - the downstairs bedrooms
Cons: The Bathroom - the shower soap tray had black mould on it. I feel that should be replaced.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super handy to anywhere you need to go. Always clean, tidy and great value for money

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location rooms and staff all very good.
Cons: Unfortunately restaurant was closed. But maybe because it was off season.
4.5 Okay
Pros: For price we paid we expected a higher standard of accommodation. A number of things weren’t working that could’ve been easily fixed. They had also removed the mattress from the sofa bed lounge which made sitting on it very uncomfortable and we sunk down. Bathroom could’ve done with a makeover. No lights on balcony. Fantastic view but very steep access NZ k up to reception.
Cons: Refer above
6.8 Good
Pros: Room size is good. pretty clean
Cons: the bathroom is outdated and a bit too small for a family
6.3 Good
Pros: Staff was really friendly all the good points for the staff. Air conditioner was not working so had to request fan which the staff made it sure we got it. Great view from the room. Also the location was excellent.
Cons: Food options need to be available at the resort as option. Facilities not maintained and would need to step up if international visitors are to be impressed. No restaurant. No phone in the room to call up the reception so need to walk up if you needed anything.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful Place ... .Nice clean rooms , Beautiful views. Wonderful Staff .. will be back again in the Summer Time
7.5 Good
Pros: The view was nice, and it was overall peaceful and relaxing. The cheeseboard and prosecco delivered to our room (additional charge) was a lovely way to arrive. Our room had all the modern conveniences.
Cons: The noise from the footsteps in the upstairs room was a bit extreme, to the point where I was awoken in the night by the noise. Stairs to the room are very steep and not very well lit at night.
6.8 Good
Cons: It was a pity that the restaurant wasn’t opened on the night that we were there and the tile floors throughout does get cold on the feet
6.3 Good
Cons: very steep driveways and steps to rooms not in any suitable for older people
9.3 Excellent
Cons: No restaurant was the only downfall as they were operating at winter hours.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The pool
Cons: Generally quite run down and in need of tidying
