Close to central railway station, easy to find. Personal at reception desk in not friendly, looking too busy. Breakfast unreasonably expensive.
We booked a triple room with Anker Hostel but was upgraded to a triple room at Anker Hotel. The staff at Anker Hotel is very friendly and almost everyone wears a smile on their face, especially Marina. The shower area and the wc should be separated with a shower screen. After shower, the entire toilet floor is wet.
Very nice and clean place, near to the center town and really comfortable for every user. Maybe too expensive for a hostel!
It was nice, and worth a money payed for it. Everything was just ok
Litt bet Nothing
The hotel staffs are very friendly and the location was quite convenient. The shower room was quite small.
nothing the reception is not careful and polite.they gave me wrong key of bedroom for 8 although I paid extra for the room for 4. it took 2 hours to make them understand their mistake.the rooms are either dirty or not warm enough as it was minus 20 outside. bottom side of the bed was broken. it was inevitable to fall down if you sit that side. All in all location not the best. breakfast not value for the price and in another building. the rooms are ragged.wireless does not work in room even sometimes in lobby as well.
In center of Oslo
Strong confusion between Anker Hostel and Anker Hostel, in the phases of reservation and check in.
It's a good basic hotel for a short stay. It's within easy reach of the airport and, for Norway, inexpensive. I arrived late at night and walked by it a couple of times as the area is quite poorly lit.
Far away from airport and very difficult to find and go to there , no buss . And it coast alotcof money bt taxi
Room is OK. No electrical sockets on parking place. Very poor breakfast, and I had to remind the stuff twice to fill the empty plates with fresh food. If you have heavy bags remember that there is no elevator. All the hotels are expensive there, so I think they can effort better service.
it was't any telephone in the room
You should have information on the website about how difficult it is to get to the hotel from the airport- and that there is no other option than taking a ridiculously expensive cab for 2 minutes ( about 290NOK) if you don´t arrive in the shuttlebus service hours- a bus which is also overpriced for such a short ride.
Nice atmosphere with the wooden steps, the quiet place. The bed was not made. A hotel bed's bare mattress is not something you want to see...
