Only one complaint
Room was nice though.
Shower control was odd. Think of a dial on the wall where straight up is off. Left is hot, right is cold. It doesn’t go all the way around the bottom. Hard if not impossible to get a warm shower.
Front desk staff needs to be retrained. We stood for over 10 minutes while the ONE front desk clerk helped casino customers purchase cigarettes and other gift shop items. When she did get to us she informed us the room king room we booked online was not available anymore. We were in town for a funeral and didn’t have the energy to put up a fight so we took the double queen room. She then informed use we had to wait for that room so maintenance could fix the damage from the previous customers, I then asked for another room!! She replies “All rooms are pre assigned so she cannot make any changes “ really? I work in the hospitality industry and know that’s “BULLSHIT” (sorry). When we do finally get to our room 1hour later we were mortified. Dirty room, hair all over bathroom floor, crooked pictures on wall, curtains off the rod and a lovely view of a gravel lot and the side of a corrugated building. My suggestion when in Pahrump stay at the Holiday inn express that’s the best you’ll find in that awful town.
Location center of the town
Smoke filled hallway leading from casino to hotel rooms. Should add doors as smoke barrier or improve ventilation in the casino. Room intermittently had smoke infiltrated as well. Lastly the air conditioner was noisy.
Room was very clean. Coffee shop clean fast and tasty
Room service terrible. Second day no towels, coffee, coffee cups, water. Old stuff still from previous day. Cafe- daughter order fried chicken dinner frozen, second time still frozen, order chicken fingers instead. Took 2 hours, rest of family done with their meals. Players card account lost. Have new account number. Lost all comps and level of play. 10 years of play. Didn't care. All the staff no interest in helping. Don't like their jobs. Was told new management. Slot play very very tight!!
The hotel was nice but the beds are awful! It would have been more comfortable sleeping on the ground. Food is good just don't order their fried chicken dinner. They made it twice and it was still frozen in the middle.
Great value will go back
Clean rooms, halls and friendly / helpful staff
Occasionally a light stale cigarette smell in elivator. Beds are really firm prefer slightly softer mattresses
Close to FrontSight
The facility was close to FrontSight
Checked in and was given a room that was already occupied. Returned to the desk, was given a room with two queen beds, not one King. Returned to the desk and got a third room! The room was never "clean", but was only barely acceptable. I returned one evening to find a dirty towel left in the room. I am not sure the room was ever vacuumed after I left. I ordered food for an all outing, the sandwich was never made, management did give me two free meals in their cafe.
ease of parking and access to rooms
registration staff-not very friendly, rushed thru the check in process did not explain very well the process of the $50.00 hold on credit card. Was confused by their explanation,
they couldn't find my reservation so they made a new one and charged me twice. also there was a drawer full of prostitute attire. wigs, lingerie, huge nasty heels. glad i found it the next day. i might not have slept in the bed otherwise. 24 hour cafe on site was also horrible
