Pros: Friendly, perfect location, amazing view, clean room, fantastic solar power hot-cold water, comfy bed. Just love our time there.
Cons: Everything seems perfect.
Pros: Very clean and spacious. Lots of eating places and famous temple near by.
Cons: Nothing, they don't offer breakfast but you can eat porrige or pho next doors

Pros: Lovely room. Staff helpful and made sure that they made us breakfast even though we left before official time for breakfast.
Cons: Didn’t seem that hotel restaurant was open so we took very short walk into town and had nice meal in roadside restaurant.

Pros: not so good but omnly to be expected
Cons: construction going on but its that time of the year so they gave me a room well away fro where they were working
Pros: The staff was exceptionally nice and welcoming! They went above and beyond to make us happy guests :-). The beds are very comfortable, beautiful rooms, good showers, mosquitoscreens in windows! Good wi-fi too! The place is really clean, as well as the swimmingpool which was nice and big and has a wonderfull location. The restaurant is surrounded with beautiful plants and especially the Khmer food was great. We had a beautiful ecolodge, where the bathroom was outside of the hut, which is fantastic for real nature-lovers. Good location for trips, you can rent bicycle or motorbike. The owner, his wife, and Sam Orn are great hosts. And DO try the cocktails!
Cons: Memoria Palace & Resort is really away from the crowds, away from everything. You cannot walk to city of Pailin, you'd have to go by bike (Pailin city is nothing special btw). But the quiet location is why we went there. So we had a very relaxing week. Went out on a scooter twice which was good.
Pros: good value
Cons: swimming pool has small bugs in the water. swimming pool has small bugs in the water. swimming pool has small bugs in the water. swimming pool has small bugs in the water.
Pros: Rooms were ok, unique setting, very tranquil, the place has heaps of potential
Cons: Hot water unit did not work in 3 of the 5 units we booked. looking forward to swimming pool, which we found half full, they promised it would be operating the day after we arrived, we were there for 4 days and no improvement. very difficult to find location even with two cambodian friends. No resturant staff could speak or understand english. Three of our group ordered pancakes for a breakfast, each arrived 20 min after the other!!!, they should have warned us of this delay, we had a work schedule to keep to. no Mango, or coconut juice as indicated in the two menues that existed, one of the beef meals, had raw meat.....not even cooked.
Pros: The rooms are big. The guide is great.
Cons: The property seems not to be maintained. The aircon in the room didn't work, the pool water was very unclear (you could not see the bottom), half buildings are build around the pool and filled up with garbage, the restaurant does not serve what you order, and the breakfast is limited (you can order american breakfast with bread, butter, jam, bacon, eggs, juice/coffe/tea - but when it get's there there is no butter, bacon or juice and mostly consists of 3-4 small pieces of baguette, and it is not even excused or explained why). The area around the hotel is currently being transformed into cultivated fields (i.e. the forrest is being cut and the area cultivated for farmery), or sold to the chinese for building hotels and casinos. The hotel seems to take advange of the fact that you cannot go anywhere - they overcharge for transportation out of the hotel and for trips. We paid 40$ for a 5 hour trip where we mostly walked with a guide to look at a small water fall. In Battambang a few days earlier, we paid a guide 25$ for an elleven hour trip where he drove us around most of the day to explore the area. The taxi to the border was suggested to cost 60$ for at 15 minute trip, while we paid 60$ for a 5 hour trip from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville - the hotel prices are completely out of line with reality. They prefer that you pay in cash though they have a Visa sign. When we objected we were allowed to pay the room with Visa, but had to pay the food etc in cash. Very suspicious in my mind. I cannot in any way recommend to come here, and we ended up leaving two days early as the pool and forrest area was useless - they were not at all flexible around that and we had to pay for the two days also.
Pros: Memoria Palace was such a pleasant surprise. I never expected so comfortable room in a remote area like Pailin. The manager is very helpful. The resort is on a nice property and has a large pool. We had a very relaxing time
Cons: I think the food in the restaurant could improve. Breakfast is simple. But lunch and dinner food could really see some improvements. I think that the manager is really trying is best to make those improvements
Pros: Very good location outside of town. Remote!!! Excellent dinner Great place (garden, pool, restaurant area)
Pros: This place is paradise if you want to run away of fast pace cities.
Cons: Unfortunately the weather was cold and wet so we weren't able to use the pool. This also meant that having an outdoor, cold shower as the only option for washing was not at all comfortable!! It would have been great to have some hot water for cold days.
Pros: The location and the setting is great, the nature around beautiful and peaceful, magnificent mountain views. The manager was very friendly and helpful. I was offered a room upgrade because the "eco-cottage" that I booked (a cute looking house with a straw roof that looked basic but friendly) appeared to be a round concrete bunker, with empty dark grey concrete walls and echo. The "standard" room was really good - well designed and clean. Good air conditioning.
Cons: First however they wanted me to pay more for the upgrade, which I found unfair - since the property's swimming pool wasn't in a usable condition (the water was running but very murky, with white stuff floating in the water, not inviting for a nice swim at all). I am not sure what happened to the restaurant - other reviews were very good but I found the food unimpressive. Given that they didn't even have wine on the menu...
