Shadow Mountain Resort & Club was the original Palm Desert Resort. Established in 1946, this resort has been part of the area’s history for many years. Cons. They have a 30 day can elation rule, no exceptions. My wife got ill 5 days prior to our visit and we were forced to pay in full! Stay at a local hotel/motel that has a more modern approach to cancelations, they are not your only option.
