Pros: The resort was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The kids loved the pool area, especially the lazy river and slide. Nice 36-hole golf course on the property.

Pros: The lobby music was our era. Decor is in orange, gold, avocado and very nice. Zuzus the onsite restaurant was outstanding. All the staff was professional and pleasant. The AZ driver John was very professional and pleasant. We travel with my husbands seeing eye dog and were accepted nicely. Highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: The loud music at the pool was not era but modern with a "bump bump" sound. Great for young couples but not for us seniors. No surprise here! The poolside rooms were well insulated so it wasn't an issue.
Pros: Reservation and check in process was seamless; especially appreciated ability to check in early after international travel. Lobby smells incredible: reminds me of Hawaii and soap/shampoo/etc in room also smelled wonderful. Love the overall decor and retro vibe of hotel, plus pool is one of my absolute favorites: ample seating, great sun and great bar (service and prices)!
Cons: While valet was wonderfully helpful and overall service fine, after finding a small roach in bathroom and being surprised by cost of daily valet (that it wasn't included), I felt a little underwhelmed by value. I travel often for business and this certainly didn't meet my elevated expectations of luxury or service.
Pros: Unique hotel with great style. Comfortable and relaxed.
Pros: Great renovation with comfortable rooms and all amenities. WiFi was fair but should be improved.
Cons: Pool area needs staff to remove cig butts and not pour drinks out in seating area around pool...unsanitary and lazy. Some bar tenders made people wait a lot longer for drinks at bar where as wait staff were good.
Pros: The location and ease.
Cons: Our sink was clogged when we arrived.
Pros: space is cool but as with most of these boutique hotel projects reconstruction is starting to show wear
Cons: there is a new giant building project going on across the road and they start construction at 7:00 am
checked in after hours took us three attempts to get our room even gave us keys to someone elses room by mistake
Pros: Staff were friendly and accommodating. Beautiful resort.
Location. This downtown Scottsdale hotel is within a mile of the Scottsdale Waterfront, Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Scottsdale Center for the Arts.

Pros: We enjoyed Happy Hour at T Cooks, excellent tapas. Guest service staff extremely polite and helpful. Great cozy room with a fireplace. beautiful grounds.
Pros: Very clean and easy access to parking and front.
Cons: The power went out.
Pros: The resort is beautiful. The wait staff at the restaurant was fantastic.
Cons: Check in was delayed until after the check in time and there was no apology for this. Staff at pool were not very friendly and very slow.
Pros: Everybody was very warm, friendly, patient and went out of their way to assist in every wAy possible.
Pros: Loved the little romantics alcoves around every corner with flowers, hummingbirds, and fountains.
Pros: Immaculate property. Flowers trees etc are beautiful. Historical property but feels new. Relaxing tranquil. Every employee seems happy. LOVE this resort.
Pros: The Royal Palms offered the perfect oasis for my boyfriend and I to completely relax and enjoy one another. We had the best vacation drinking Mai Tai's, Miami Vice's and Woo Woo's by the pool while catching some rays and laughing with each other in complete bliss. The room was perfect for romance, drinking wine on the balcony while over looking Camelback mountain and boning in the huge king size bed, tub and shower. Thank you Royal Palms and see you in 2015...Woo Woo
Pros: We were allowed to stay at the pool and to use the spa facilities to shower after we had checked out and before our evening flight. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Great location for golf, shopping, restaurants, etc. Beautiful grounds, pool areas, great selection of recreation options. Loved the snakes and lizard display in the lobby. On site restaurant (for breakfast) was good.
Cons: Parking for the Villas was very limited. Maybe need assigned parking spaces...? When we checked in we had a very loose toilet seat, light bulb burned out on the patio, and the refrigerator was not working. This was all fixed quickly.
Pros: Tucked away in a quiet zone, this is a great spot!
Cons: They assigned me a Handicapped room was the only downside
Pros: The villas are excellent and the location was beautiful.
Pros: It was a great hotel more than what I was expecting. It is good for a log stay because you feel like home. everything is provided in the room even the washer-dryer. I loved staying here, but unfortunately it was a short stay for one night.
Cons: It is located in Scottsdale which is the best city in the area around with clean environment and great shops.
Pros: The rooms were clean & the surrounding area was nicely decorated.
Cons: The showers were too low for a 6' person to stand under. The coffee makers too complicated to make the effort.
Pros: Staff was awesome and very helpful. Loved both Hotels the lazy river was my favorite, but sadly was closed the 2nd day we were there. I can't wait to stay again. Thank you
Pros: Beautiful, spacious, clean, great décor, quiet, conveniently located
We traveled from Vancouver to find the sun. Our view over the golf course could have been bright and beautiful except for the design of the building. If you want to enjoy the decks and views, avoid these particular Suites. They had other suites that extended to the outer edge of the building that would be better choices.
Pros: Nice facility, grounds, amenities
Cons: Our one bedroom deluxe suite was a big disappointment. The building is a 4 story block shape. Our 2nd flr room was recessed from the outer edge of the building by about 30 ft. so the view from the deck, off the bedroom, is like looking down a corridor.
Pros: Shuttle services to shopping and shuttle from villa to hotel pool Friendly staff at villas and poolside hotel Pool waterslide and hotel lazy river great for my kids Starbucks coffee in room Parking complimentary and free wifi !
Cons: No I would recommend the villa to all my friends

Pros: This Hilton has an executive lounge. Clean, nice rooms. Nice staff
Cons: Don't get room 260. Long walk to room, but its next to a very noisy elevator. 6:15 to 7am elevator it operated continually and impossible to get back to sleep.
Charged $4 /beer in exec lounge.
Pros: The location is close to many attractions.
Cons: It wasn't very clean, the toilet was dirty and the counters on the dressers had liquid stains on them. The front door had a huge gap between the floor and door so we could hear everything from the outside in the hallway.
Pros: Rooms was modern and clean and comfortable
Cons: The rooms were far from the lobby and hard to find a bit and gate around pool was odd

Pros: Bed, linens, view, city location, air conditioning, large rooms
Cons: Dirty carpet, furniture, and rug. Housekeeping ignored hotel policy of bottled water, chocolates, and turndown service. Women wearing skimpy bikinis in the lobby and elevators with no coverups - Such a DISAPPOINTMENT from six years ago when this resort was the utimate getaway!!
Pros: The food here is amazing. All the food in old town was amazing as well. We ate at the pool two days and it was gormet delishious! We also ate breakfast in the resturant down stairs and it was also fantastic. Pricey but very good.
Cons: Hotel is beautiful when you walk in and is a really nice place to stay but is very dated. The pool and the rooms need updated to make this hotel worth the money.
Pros: Pool and restaurants plus nearby hiking
Located in Scottsdale surrounded by the stunning Sonoran Desert is one of America’s most luxurious resorts. Recipient of the AAA 5 Diamond Award, The Phoenician continues to set new standards for style and service. The Spa on 4th and nine shimmering pools provide unequalled relaxation, and manicured greens and lush fairways distinguish our 27-hole championship golf course. On-site cuisine ranges from rich, modern Italian to sumptuous steak and seafood. Our 250 acres at the base of Camelback Mountain contain everything you could desire: one of America’s best resort golf courses, The Centre for Well-Being spa, a tennis complex, nine swimming pools, and elegant venues for meetings and weddings.
Cons: Decided to stay in instead of going out and the bar staff at the hotel was horrible waited 15 minutes for first drink and then couldn't remember what the drink was. It was super expensive and staff not very personable
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The Concierge Room is advertised as being for guests with rewards points at the Platinum or Gold level plus one guest. The hotel opened the Concierge Room to hundreds of pre-teen and teenaged girls unchaperoned, competing in a national ballerina event in the city. Business and professional guests very disappointed.
Pros: The Renaissance is close to so many cool downtown Phoenix venues - Valley Bar, Hanny's Seamus McCaffrey's, and Crescent Ballroom. We were able to walk around and had plenty to do all within walking distance.
Pros: The location of the hotel was great. It was in the heart of Phoenix. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The gym is very small and they were renovating so you could hear work being done and the elevators were really slow.
Pros: Stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms. When I got off the elevator to go to my room, I stepped on the thickest, plushest carpet ever. Room was spotless. Lots of outlets on the desk so I was able to keep all my devices charged. All of the staff I encountered were pleasant and helpful. Even the valet, when my car was brought around, washed my windshield before I started out for home. Extremely easy to get back to I-10. The breakfast buffet was wonderful - including lots of fresh fruit and again. Walking distance to Chase Field as well as lots of bars and restaurants.
Cons: Would have liked to have had a magnifying mirror in the bathroom for putting on my makeup but there was lots of light.

Pros: The location was great. Staff were very friendly.
Cons: Garden room had a single window unit type AC that did not sufficiently cool the room. Hotel is currently under construction, which makes it very hard to get around. I found bits of cracker on the floor around my bed upon check in, but was too tired to deal with it at the time. The matress in my room felt old and sagged on one side. The pool bar closed at 5. The famous Catalina pool has many broken tiles. I was promised an emailed receipt at checkout, and have yet to receive it. I've made two calls to their accounting department and they have not returned my call.
Pros: My room was nicely renovated but bathroom much to small. The shower when in use would soak the bathroom floor. The property is getting tired looking, time for a face lift. I returned after 10 years and was disappointed to find gym still to small, spa uninspiring, exercise studio and bike/tennis area a throw back to 1980.
I would return to the front portico each morning from a long run and was never greeted by bell staff or offered bottled water as i stood there recovering from the run and sweating from the desert heat. I have become so accustomed to being greeted by staff with bottled water and towel upon returning from jogging at all great hotels that i really resented having to ask for it.
The main lobby is beautiful and I enjoyed evening cocktails on the patio adjacent to the lobby. The bar staff was lovely. Lunch and breakfast in Frank and Albert's was painful to endure. Breakfast was so delayed with mistakes to the order and lunch was mediocre. The cafe also disappointed. One meal at each was one too many. Best meals were all off property.
My daughter and I walked thru the shops and found once again we were back in the 80's. We love to shop so it was hard to believe there was almost next to nothing to buy.
Housekeeping was a bit lacking of management, it seemed. Dirty dessert dishes lingered in my room for two days.
The Scottsdale - Phoenix area has so many fabulous resorts, it's to bad The Biltmore doesn't seem to be one of them anymore.
Pros: We celebrated our anniversary and were upgraded to a beautiful suite, and the front desk staff sent a beverage, chocolates and fruit to our room when they learned. Loved the room, the grounds are amazing and enjoyed the amazing amenities. We're planning to return every year.
Pros: Mountain biking and guide (Chip) were excellent.
Wright's was outstanding dining all around. Food, service, presentation, ambiance, price. If the entire resort were run like Wrights, this would be a five star resort.
Spa services, attendants were great.
Megan O. at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.
The lobby is beautiful.
A Maintanence engineering employee whose name I did not get.
The bicycle room service provided a bit of whimsy and were a delight to watch them ride through the resort.
The swim up bar is a nice touch, but perhaps should not be immediately next to the kids water slide.
Cons: Was billed as a five star resort when I booked it. Don't get me wrong, this is a nice place with a lot of history. However, a five star resort implies attention to little details that separate you from other resorts. Those little details were missing. While I understand the main entrance is under renovation, the concrete blocks holding down the umbrellas for the valets looked cheap and haphazard. Not a good first impression. Upon arrival, no one offered to help with my bags, merely pointing me to the direction of the temporary main entrance.
At that entrance, there is a small lip in the doorway, making it difficult to maneuver a roller bag.
While the front desk did ask if I needed assistance with my bags, no bellhops were around if I did, and given the room location, they should have been more readily available, as my room in the garden wing is on the second floor accessible only by stairs.
Upon check-in, I searched for ice (which with a bellhop could have been a non-issue at least for the first day). I could not locate the ice machine, or anything in the in-room literature to direct me. I found a housekeeper and asked her. She did not seem to know either. A maintenance engineering department employee coming out of a guest room overhead the conversation and immediately led me to the nearest ice machine himself. Unfortunately it was broken. Not only that, there was a bus cart full of dirty dishes stowed in front of it. Again, this is the kind of little detail a five-star resort takes care of. The ice machine in the adjacent paradise wing seemed more designed for "back of the house" rather than for a guest to be accessing it.
Service at Frank and Albert's was very nonchalant. It did not seem as is they cared if we stayed to eat or not, or enjoyed our meal.
Everything seemed to be under construction at once, causing noise throughout the day, from early in the morning until afternoon.
When I asked about this, several, employees' response was "well, it's the slow season...." as if I should have lower expectations because it's August. Again, a little detail a five-star resort should nail. Guests should not notice a difference in staff attention regardless of "season."
A few other "little details": In the lobby bar, the cords for the TVs and speakers were haphazardly hanging, not neatly along the wall. There was visible water damage on one of the corner speakers. A large cobweb was hanging in the corner and blowing with the AC. There were several areas where grout or paint had dripped onto the pressed concrete blocks from recent renovations but were left there, not removed.
The pool desk was open and appeared to be staffed, but was unmanned for five minutes, leading me to walk behind the desk to help myself to clean towels as no one was around.
Ultimately, we cut our stay a day short and moved to a different area five star resort, where we did not experience any negative issues.
Pros: Nice pool and gym. Great drinks at the hotel bar. Beautiful hotel.
Cons: They seemed to be incredibly short staffed in terms of housekeeping. On our first night, our room wasn't ready for check-in at 6:30pm -- 2.5 hours after the hotel's check-in time of 4pm. It seemed like it would work out in our favor because we got a room upgrade since our assigned room wasn't ready. But then on our second day our room wasn't cleaned until 4:30pm and on our third day, they didn't clean the room at all -- and we were out of the room from 10am until 9pm! When we called the front desk, they offered to send someone to clean the room, but it took 40 minutes for someone to show up.
Pros: Lots of places to sit and talk. Good facilities. Newly renovated rooms are very nice. Staff is great!
Cons: Smoking in the general seating areas outside
Pros: Everything! Very Unique.
Pros: Many luxury features. Service very good and happy hour nice.
Cons: Hot tub not warm, bed sagged in middle, no robes, landscapers started gas power hedge trimmers at 8:35am for 45 minutes in courtyard next to room.
Pros: Property is fantastic. Amazing history of the Biltmore, as seen in all the photos throughout.
Cons: Room needed updated
Pros: Fabulous architecture and gardens; friendly and helpful staff, great breakfasts. Everything!
Pros: Truly beautiful hotel. Beautiful grounds. Upgraded us to a private cottage room free of charge. Would love to stay here again soon.

Pros: Comfortable, clean, friendly staff. Great breakfast. Shuttle service. Great value. Convenient eating and shopping for essentials within walking distance.
Cons: Pool is on the small side. Wish it were pet friendly.

Pros: Great historic building that fit in right in the center of downtown. As it is a historic property, the lobby was marvelously refurbished with its marble surroundings. Rooms were extremely clean and comfortable and the style is wonderful. Close to everything in downtown including the light rail, bars/restaurants, sports arenas, and nightlife.
Cons: As it is a historic property only valet parking available which may inconvenience some but wasn't a deterrent for me. Room service limited to a few hours daily.

Pros: The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful
Cons: I had a few dresses that when hung in the closet drapped on the floor, the reptionist provided a folding chair to put inside the closet so my dresses could lay over the chair so as to be of the floor, but the folding chair didn't fit inside the closet, but my husband found away to fix the problem, otherwise everything was fine

Pros: Very beautiful also very neat and clean great staff
Pros: Customer service is over the top! Exceeded my expectations at every turn. Cannot wait to return!
Cons: 1 pool way too crowded because the other pool was way too hot, horrible service from wait staff(ignored multiple times and not enough of them), pool obnoxiously hot, obnoxious music from the kids area( adult rap and too loud...not exactly kid music)
Pros: The room was unique in layout, more like a small apartment and every space utilised to the max, with a balcony overlooking park-like gardens. The outdoor spaces were beautifully landscaped. Lovely pools too. Would definitely reccommend.
Pros: I knew it was a pet friendly hotel but figured people with pets stayed in a certain building, come to fund out after all day of having trouble breathing breaking out in rashes my son and I both, every room could have had pets in it.we are severely allergi
Cons: But they did do a deep clean and moved our room then we were ok. But still think people should be warned
Pros: Front desk clerk gave me perfect quiet room that I requested. Very nice lady. Fantastic hotel and sheets. Only better thing would be refrigator in room.
Pros: Electric charger for car
Cons: High cost internet
Pros: The staff was always very helpful.
Cons: Resort fees and parking fees in addition to the basic price are annoying and deceptive. Include them in the basic price. Hotel price was ---and then another 40 added.
Pros: Love the Princess been there many times love the pool. This time it seemed understaffed
Cons: Room service was not good food cold, items missing, long wait.
Pros: the pools were great for the kids
Cons: for a five star hotel tje cleanliness was not the best. half of the staff was great and attentive(valet and room services). the others were ok.
Pros: The room & staff were excellent!!!
Cons: Food was way below the quality we expected
AAA Five-Diamond Fairmont Scottsdale Princess has come to reflect the dynamic environment that surrounds it, where sun-washed stone and bright green cottonwoods rise up to meet the pale-blue sky and majestic purple mountains. Four award-winning restaurants, state-of-the art meeting facilities, innovative wellness program at Well and Being Spa and next to TPC with two 18-hole championship golf courses, this highly acclaimed Scottsdale hotel resort is truly an experience like no other.
Pros: The property and grounds are beautiful. The hospitality staff in the restaurant are first-rate.
Cons: We reserved a "king" room for a 3-night stay. After a full day of traveling we arrived at the property after midnight and entered a room with twin beds and a baby crib! There were exactly 3 hangars in our closet. On the final night we were awakened at 4 a.m. by water dripping from the ceiling (where the crib had been!). I moved the furniture and put waste baskets to collect the water. Upon checkout, we were offered a free breakfast for our inconvenience. Really???
Pros: We had an excellent stay. Very comfortable and easy to get in and out of. Well run. And we paid less than half of what similar Scottsdale properties were charging.
Pros: Clean. Sufficient and close to where I was going.
Cons: We were given a room very far away from check in and parking when they had many available rooms closer.
Pros: Beautiful pools and helpful staff. Luxurious rooms and a fun bar.
Pros: Price was reasonable
Cons: Super small room
No garbage bags
Pros: All you need is on site and transportation is readily available

Pros: Rooms are nice and clean. Staff is friendly. Check in/out process very quick
Cons: Right on the street so a lot of traffic noise
Pros: Great location for getting around downtown Scottsdale.
Pros: The pool and patio area was great!! And friendly staff.
Cons: Rooms need updating. And was hoping for a small continental breakfast.
Pros: Staff attentive, professional, yet friendly. Water in lobby-it was 101! Coffee was great. Cookies were great-but unsure of ingredients-nuts?
Cons: Cigarette butts all over outside area in early a.m.
Wished for small continental breakfast.
Pros: We stayed here for super bowl weekend, when the demand was much higher than the supply in the Scottsdale area. With that said, hotels could have gotten away with a lower level of service because they just could, you didn't have options. However, the Hilton Garden provided some of the best service I've ever had at a hotel and I have traveled a lot and to many 4 and 5 star hotels around the world. Everyone was so very friendly and they had complimentary candy, drinks and football souvenirs for their guests. The location was ideal - right in the heart of old town, where all the action was going on. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for making our weekend so memorable.
Cons: Other than the Seahawk loss, nothing to dislike.

Cons: We have younger children (10, 11) and there wasn't really a warning in the search results that this isn't really a place for them. This place has a casino and is better equipped for adults only.
Pros: Loved everything about my stay except the spa.
Cons: I received 2 services at the spa which were stellar and the service providers equally fantastic. The front desk staff and attendant however, were in a rush to close over a half hour so they closed parts of the spa facilities early and wouldn't accommodate a later appointment time. There are MANY spas to choose from in Scottsdale and this used to be one of my favorites.
Cons: Our girls weekend was horrible. First it was 50.00$ to get into the pool with 2,000 other people. So we had to find another resort to relax at. And then our plumbing went out and was not accommodated until we called and complained. We were told to use the bathroom in the casino and we had no place to shower. The only bright spot was the front desk manager upon check out who was completely embarrassed about how we were treated.
Pros: Room design is great! Room is very comfortable.
Cons: Fort Knox ... the process for getting into the pool was ridiculous. 4 stages of security... worse than TSA
Pros: This was a great location for our AZ getaway. We loved the amenities, enjoying several of the restaurants on location, every pool and hot tub option, and really loved the gym with a view.
Cons: While we knew there would be smoking on the casino level, since neither of us smoke, the fact that the entire floor, including the check in desk, reeked of smoke, was offensive. I think the resort would be better if the check in area was relocated away from the stench of smoke.
Pros: My room had a fabulous view and was very clean besides the two huge bugs that were flying around next to the bedside lamp.
Cons: The check in process was a headache. They gave terrible directions from the check in counter to the elevator and I had to ask several employees where and how to get to my room. Not to mention I was on the 13th floor and the elevator didn't even have a button for "13", so again I had to go down to the 1st level and ask the security person at the hotel entry. The valet guys left a lot to be desired too.
Cons: The smoking- the young people and lack of good restaurants
Pros: We loved our room being upgraded, The balcony was awesome! Great view, Good staff. The facility was beautiful and very clean.
Cons: Only 1 chair, 1 robe, 1 slippers, and one soap even though there were 2 of us. Would be better for me as a first timer to have had better instructions from the check in counter on everything from what we can and can't take to our room to how to work the heater.
Pros: The entire facility was very clean, very nice staff, the text messaging for room status was great especially since I was messaging a real person and not a computer
Cons: The price was a little high but that could have been because of the near holiday weekend
Pros: The rooms were nice, beds comfy, and food was good. The pool and facilities were clean and well kept.
Cons: The noise was outrageous. Me and my girlfriend went to get away from the kids and have a relaxing "staycation." People were partying so loudly on our floor we could feel the base coming from the music in their room. Alerted hotel staff multiple times regarding this issue and it was not taken care off. We were also promised a call back from the security manager and never received one. The music and yelling lasted until about 3 am (our first complaint was about 1030pm.) will never stay hear again due to the lack of concern by staff regarding the problem we encountered.
Pros: Great hotel with great amenities, a nice pool with weekend pool parties, ample dining options, and a friendly staff.
Pros: Clean, good sized rooms
Cons: noise of pool rattled our shutters on Sat when they have rehab type party

Pros: We'all return since the room and food were exceptional.
Pros: Newly renovated
Cons: The Breakfast was better when it was made to order
Pros: The breakfast could have been better , it was much better I recall
Pros: Great Front Desk staff. They worked hard to make things as comfortable as possible during the renovation. Great location. Very nice remodel.
Cons: Shower did not work. Maintenance staff tried 3 times to fix it to no avail. Made the stay very uncomfortable.
Pros: The room renovation is beautiful. The living room couch is a very comfortable - sectional with a chaise. One of our friends slept on it and felt it was fine. The beds, bedding, and pillows were delightful. There was good storage for clothes. The little kitchen was great for snacks.
Even in the temporary tent, the breakfast was good with a variety of choices.
The staff was friendly and accommodating.
Cons: There were snacks at happy hour in the past, but not now. Perhaps that was due to the construction and the tent. There were a couple of little things in the bathroom: a second towel bar would be helpful and the soap dish became gooey and watery.
Pros: wifi did not work, tv not HD, need many upgrades to charge the prices they do, rooms were nice, staff was great, happy hour and breakfast good
Pros: The rooms are very nice, spacious with comfortable beds. The breakfast was good with many options. The tent for the food and bar was not an issue. It works very well and is very comfortable.
Cons: Parking and unloading can be a challenge on a busy Saturday night.
Pros: The room was nice. Good comfortable bed. Limited parking closer to the rooms due to construction when the hotel is busy. Great breakfast. Friendly staff
Cons: Limited parking due to the construction. I had to park far away but it was only 1 night
Cons: Under construction did not tell anyone !
Pros: The suites were great if you're traveling with kids. The renovations to the inside of the rooms were done well. The complimentary breakfast saved us money. This will be a great place to stay once the renovations are complete.
Cons: Inadequate warning about MAJOR construction. Was placed in a room directly adjacent to constant jackhammering; no joke.
I travel for a living, and this was the worst hotel experience in history.
That said, the rooms are great, and this will be a good hotel once the conversion to Embassy Suites is complete.
DON'T STAY UNTIL THEN. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Pros: Everything was very nice, but I especially liked the pool area.
Cons: The stairs to the roof terrasse was next to my room and someone was unlocking that gate at 7:30 every morning, with less then a quiet manipulation. Other then that, no complaints what so ever. i loved the place.
Pros: We spent most of our time at the pool it was a great relaxing atmosphere the only drawback was that the pool closed early
Cons: We didn't like that the pool closed so early
Pros: Great, helpful staff; Arty and comfortable; Delicious bistro / bar; Wonderful rooftop bar / open lounge with live music. Convenient location and easy covered parking.
Cons: In Phoenix!
Cons: There was a dj poolside all day, then a jazz band played on the roof directly above me until 10:00 pm. 7:00 am kids yelling bloody murder in the pool, if you don't like sleep this is your spot
Pros: Restaurant was good. Junior suite was spacious.
Cons: No hot water so cold showers all weekend. Towels were old and not very soft. Combo shower/bath was old/cheap. Blinds wouldn't close completely in living room area so privacy was an issue - especially since you could see through to the bedroom. Overall impression is that they took an old, run down 2 star hotel and tried to updated it with hipster accents. I've seen it done well elsewhere but here they fall short.
Pros: Lady at the front desk was very helpful finding me food at 12pm.
Pros: Breakfast. $10 voucher for the in-house restaurant. Rooms & beds were clean and sharp.
Cons: I booked a Sunday night stay. Apparently they were all-booked for the night before, and after I arrived 30 minutes before normal check in time on Sunday, and they couldn't accommodate me for those 30 minutes and made me wait until the normal check in time.
Pros: Location was good for what I needed. Other than that, stay away.
Bedding was clean, staff was attentive and polite, but the place has not been maintained. At all. The property may have ranked a 4 star rating long ago, but it honestly looks like that was the last time they even spent a dime on upkeep of the structure. Again, the employees were great, but the place is a dump.
Cons: Room had carpet that was withered and frayed, looked like it had been installed in the 80's. As if that wasn't enough of a tip off, there were several huge stains that literally looked like a donkey had urinated a few times - again, quite a while ago.
Air vents have not been cleaned since the last century, so if you are into breathing spores, other people's skin cells, and bacteria - this place is for you.
I also had the pleasure of sharing the suite with a loud buzzing noise every 55-60 seconds. Sounded like a cell phone on a table vibrating. After a few nights of putting up with this, I decided to investigate. Really with I had not... first I found a huge 36" x 16" hole hacked out of the wall behind a mirror hanging in the connecting hallway to the front room. This had some other mismatching hunk of drywall dangling in it, not really doing much to seal the hole. Emergency plumbing repair unfinished? Maybe the source of the camel pee stains, don't know. Finally, I found the item responsible for the 55 second interval alarm... behind the vent in the ceiling, a cheap recirculation pump was mounted with no thought for vibration dampening. Seriously, this thing was absurdly annoying.
Honestly, I've seem far better maintained rooms in a Motel 6 or Super 8, I expected much better from a hotel of this supposed caliber.
Pros: Old meets new was fun. Learning more about Don being blown-up in his crappy, small, yellow forgien sports car gave a fun dangerous vibe.
Fitness room worked.
Loation is great.
Covered parking rules.
Cons: One beat House music is hard to take by the pool trying to read or on the roof watching a beatuful sunset. That music requires the listener to be on lots of really good drugs in a club to be appriciated. However, I dare to say most people thing that music sucks anytime, anywhere while on any drug(s). Clubbing, stockholm syndrome nonsense, sholdn't be forced on everyone in the name of pseudo cool.
Pros: I like the amenities that were offered. I would definitely stay there again.
Location. This family-friendly Phoenix property is conveniently situated near the airport. Sunnyslope Mountain, US Airways Center, and Arizona State Capitol are area attractions.

Pros: THE SIZE OF YOUR SUITES ARE WONDERFUL - LIKE MINI-APARTMENTS. WONDERFUL & BEAUTIFUL. WE WERE IN PHOENIX VISITING DAUGHTERS BUT ENJOYED HAVING OUR OWN SPACE & QUIET TIME DURING LATE EVENINGS & EARLY MORNINGS
Pros: Rooms were nice
Service was great
Cons: 4 night stay and they do not clean, replace towels, or anything unless requested
Parking lot is always filled and when you're in the furthest building you're looking at a 5 minute walk easy, nearly 10 to the lobby/restaurant. Very frustrating when you're just needing to run back to the room for a shower. Or in my case room key doesn't work so you have to call front desk from cell and wait for someone to bring a key.
Pros: The suites were, for the most part, clean and spacious. The staff, for the most part, were friendly.
There is a horse-shoe pit and the views from the balcony are beautiful.
Having a full size refrigerator in the suite made it easy to freeze water bottles for cold water in the AZ heat.
The hotel/resort offers free DVD rentals, which was nice.
There is a "plug-in" flashlight in the bathroom that is a nice feature when going out after dark (the steps from suite door to main path have inadequate lighting)
Cons: The resort/hotel seems to be converted apartments or condos. The parking is difficult to get to from the rooms/suites and although golf carts are available for shuttling, it's on an "on call" basis. It would take equal amount of time walking as waiting for a ride.
I had ants in my bathroom and when I requested a new room, I was told I would be charged "for cleaning". Sorry that having ants in the bathroom of my suite inconveniences you. The maintenance/engineering staff that came to resolve the incident was excellent.
The main walk-ways/paths are lit, but the steps from the main walkways to the door of the suites is not lit and it did not feel comfortable for me.
Experience the charm, ambiance, and friendly service of an intimate getaway with all the amenities of a first-class ASGA-rated golf resort. Whether you are traveling with extended family or a smaller party, you will appreciate the privacy of a separate bedroom with state of the art Tempur-Pedic sleep system beds, the economy of a kitchenette, the relaxing whirlpool tub or unwinding on your patio or balconyluxuries you just won't find in an average hotel room. Enjoy this adobe-style home away from home!
Cons: Loud children running, screaming incessantly by the pool. Then between 9:00 pm & 10:00 pm throwing bean bag games right outside my window.
Called the front desk - not very sympathetic to my plight of horseplay all evening.
Pros: Like: ambience, decor, location.
Cons: Dislike: 1) better bartender as mine doesn't know how to mix cocktails; 2) small beds; 3) better wall insulation (a bit too noisy for units looking out the street); 4) convenience fee (wifi).
Cons: Very noisy. Woken up several nights by loud people talking in hall late at night and a scheduled midnight trash pickup. Also staff refused to move us to a quieter room away from the expressway for days without charging us a fee
