Few hotels are more central and luxurious than The Westin Paris - Vendome, at 3 Rue de Castiglione, in the city's first arrondissement. A few steps in one direction is the Musée du Louvre, and in the opposite, the Place de la Concorde, now a beautiful monument, but notable as the place where many from French history met their end, including Marie Antoinette.
Indulge Your Tastebuds
The Westin Paris - Vendome offers 428 stylish rooms housed in an elegant Parisian building, with its trademark blue roof tiles. Even non-guests come here to dine at Le First, Restaurant Boudoir Paris, which offers traditional French cuisine, all sustainably sourced from within 200 kilometers of Paris. Be sure to enjoy a drink at seasonal La Terrasse, overlooking the hotel's white marble fountain. The hotel's Six Senses Spa offers ultimate pampering, and an on-site fitness center keeps health-minded guests happy.
The elegant Place Vendôme is just a five minute walk away, and the streets leading from the square offer the best designer shopping Paris has to offer. The magnificent Champs Élysées is only ten minutes away on foot, while the splendid Tuileries Gardens are across the street. Stroll through the Tuileries, cross the Seine, and find yourself at the Musée d'Orsay and in one of the best walking neighborhoods of the city's Left Bank.
The location of this hotel in Paris is excellent.
Our room was laughably small. The staff was disorganized and, with the notable exception of one assistant manager, unhelpful. The prices in hotel facilities are very high (e.g. a small beer and a non-alcoholic drink in the courtyard cafe came to more than 40 euros). We found broken glass shards in our bathroom on the second day (that's where the assistant manager intervened to promptly address the matter). There was noise from loose children running and playing in the hotel hallway (annoying though not strictly speaking the hotel's fault). In general, not at all the experience we expected at a premium price luxury hotel.
The only positive aspect of this hotel is it's location. Other than that it is not worth staying in. Extremely expensive for no reason.
The rooms, even the suites, are not renovated, there is a distinct smell of humidity and the stuff is snob.
Perfect location, very good concierge, big room the deluxe double.
It still needs renovation
The Location could not be beat. The room and the view were impeccable. The staff were excellent and the restaurant was on par with any top French restaurant.
At the price paid, complementary internet access would have been a nice touch. Otherwise, everything was perfect.
The main reason for my visit was the shopping and the hotel was very central to all the designer shops.
The hotel didn't have a bottle warmer for baybes and they couldn't prepare food for baybes.
