The Hotel Montparnasse Daguerre is located just a short walk away from the Montparnasse station in a lively Daguerre street. Saint Germain des Pres and the Latin Quarter are within 10 minutes walking distance. It is a traditional building with a white façade. The medium-sized lobby is well decorated and pleasantly lit. It is furnished in white marble with beautiful crystal chandeliers; this gives the lobby a bright and airy look. There is a small seating area opposite the reception desk. This hotel is well-located for guests wishing to be in close proximity to Montparnasse Boulevard yet within easy reach of many other Paris attractions. Staff are friendly and efficient. Overall the rooms are small in size tidy and tastefully furnished in a traditional style. A variety of light colour schemes have been used contrasting with the dark wood furnishings. The bathrooms are small but in good condition and are fitted in white tiling. Each room has a safe- deposit box. The hotel does not have a restaurant but a breakfast room that is bright and cosy located on the lower ground floor.
cleanliness and the fact that the room faced the courtyard and was quiet.
shower head was dripping.
Good location and staff was very kind
too small room than i expected
The location was super.
The room was a bit dark (ground floor room 001)
The staff were very friendly, the hotel has a great atmosphere and the location is great. Rue Daguerre is a lovely street with restaurants and cafes.
the elevator being located on the 1st etage instead of the ground floor. Difficult for a 70-year-old woman to handle. The breakfast was not a value at 10 euros.
the location close to metro and friendly neighbourhood
reception staff would not change money for laundromat
The proximity to the 'Montparnasse Bienvenue' Metro, and Rue Daguerre which was dotted with great shops and cafes.
One of the women on the front desk told me that they didn't have stamps and that because it was Sat. the post offices were closed. When I came back in less than an hour later, someone else was on the desk, and he said they did have stamps and sold them to me. Also, I referred 3 others to your hotel, and when I asked for an upgrade or anything, because of the business I brought you, I was turned down flat. I am not Bob Sorenson, but the person who booked for Bob Sorenson...Barbara-Anne Patterson. I sent a woman named Mariyese and a man named Samir as well to your hotel. Even a complimentary breakfast, or a bigger room for one night would have been nice....
Location was good -especially for the price-
Very small rooms
the elevator, and the smell inside the room.
elevator way to small / small 2 rooms
