9.3 Excellent
Pros: Superb location next to the auto route. Staff very friendly and spoke very good English. Very clean and quiet room along with a very good breakfast
Cons: Maybe a little pricy for a quick stop over
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Reception staff really professional, gym easily accessible, easy parking, easy to find, good bed and coffee facilities, strong shower stream.
Cons: A fridge in the bedroom would really help, especially as we went in August.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This is principally a business hotel so one needs to temper one's expectations accordingly. It is perfectly nice in every respect but don't expect charm. This hotel has the charm of a stainless steel dishwasher: perfectly functional but devoid of emotion.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location was really good for our trip. The hotel receptionist on the evening of our arrival and the following morning were very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with some lost property that the evening receptionist tried her best to resolve. Unfortunately she couldn't locate the lost property but we really appreciated her efforts. Rooms were very clean and well presented.
Cons: Nothing at all.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: The Aircon was not switched on
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great personal at the reception, kitchen and cleaning, professional, room very clean, nice facility, taxi available on a call. Good for short stay.
Cons: Bad for long stay: Same breakfast menu; no room service for food other than pasta and burgers. When travelling for work, it may be necessary to work late and have the meal in room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent. The bed was large and comfortable. There was a good range of facilities in the room and the restaurant next door, La Boucherie served very good meat - don't go if you are a vegan.
Cons: On the first morning we arrived five minutes too late for 'full breakfast' because of confusion in explaining the time that full breakfast' finished. We were offered 'breakfast' which was very good but not 'full breakfast'. The jet in the shower didn't work. The lights inside the hall of the room flickered on and off for about 45 minutes. The coffee machine was missing an integral part so didn't work. These things were explained to the staff, but either because of our poor French, their poor English, or some other reason, they were unable to correct. They did offer us a change of room but after 6 hours on the road and unpacking we were very disinclined to do.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Ultra modern hotel that lacks any character. Good business or single night accommodation in very clean rooms. Has a good chain restaurant attached for lunch and/or dinner. Very close to the sports stadium but quite a way out of the town centre. Staff were excellent from check-in to check-out. Semi-secure parking area with Tesla charge points.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and modern. Excellent linen and shower. Friendly staff. Very good coffee machine in room
Cons: More of the tea bags please. 1 of 2 varieties was not quite enough for me I like an evening and breakfast. The varieties themselves were very good Parking was excellent and I noted plenty of charging sites for electric cars. Well located on road network. Walk to race track. 7 min drive to 4 star horse eventing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Out of town location is easy to find with free parking. Good stopover hotel
Cons: The frozen yogourt machine in the breakfast room made a horrible racket. It spoiled what was otherwise a lovely breakfast
Overview Reviews
On the edge of Beaumont Park, a charming garden in the historic center of Pau, the large, welcoming Hôtel Parc Beaumont stands in perfect harmony with its surroundings. Simple and elegant rooms and suites overlooking the park and the Pyrenees, restaurant with shaded terrace, and a radiant spa. Come and sample the laid-back luxury of this hotel, whether you're travelling for business or want to discover the iconic landmarks of the Pyrenees, the Marian city of Lourdes or the castle of Henry IV.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Pretty much everything is great!
Cons: Only fault is I would have liked an extra pillow on the bed but otherwise loved it!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and accomadating. Our room was lovely and well appointed. We had a lovely dinner in their restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely modern hotel. Staff at reception were welcoming and at check in provided a map of Pau indicating Hotel location and how to get into the town and areas of interest. Only short walk to town or train station through a lovely park. You can do day trips to so many other cities in the area from Gate de Pau. Staff in bar and restaurant also had good English. Didn't eat in the formal restaurant but bar food was very good. Breakfast was excellent - great choice and they serve until 10.30a.m. Bedrooms are large and spacious- were beautifully maintained. Bed and pillows were heaven at the end of the day. Airconditioning was excellent and hotel very quiet - got great sleeps!! The little packet of 3 sweets left on each pillow each night was a lovely touch. Powerful shower. Only downside - there was no English channel on the TV (at least we didn't find it!). Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Cons: 1)Would have liked to have been able to get an english news channel on TV. 2) A grab rail to hold when getting into and out of the shower/bath.

Pros: Great stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful rooms. Hotel located perfectly for a visit to Pau.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a beautiful spot, right on the park but close to the city center and not far from the train. I like that there is Nespresso coffee and tea in the room, which is clean, modern and well-designed for comfort and convenience. The staff is eager to help. Restaurant has very good food. It’s excellent in every category.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A luxurious 5 star hotel with every facility and attentive, welcoming staff, situated in a parkland setting only 5 to 10 minutes walk from the centre of Pau.
Cons: Nothing, except maybe the price!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very large, light and comfortable; the hosts couldn’t have been more helpful and thoughtful, without intrusion; and the homemade delicious jams (particularly recommend the peach and orange!), honey and eggs from the hens in the garden were a wonderful touch.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a wonderful old villa. The proprietor couple was friendly and helpful.
Cons: The road work outside the hotel cost us a good hour to navigate. It would be nice if we can receive a map rather than just text instructions.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hosts are both charming, helpful and very welcoming. the parking is very easy as it is right outside the door. The rooms are large and the beds were comfortable.
Cons: The breakfast is very limited but given the overall cost of the stay was adequate. There are a lot of stairs to get to the rooms especially if you are on the second floor. There does not appear to be any fire alarm, smoke detectors or fire fighting equipment evident and the only exit from the upper floors is via the large wooden staircase.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Quite comfortable, nice garden around.
Cons: There is no hotel sign, quite difficult to find it first time.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a large private run as a B&B. There was storage for my bicycle and a kitchen area down the hall where I could make my own tea. The proprietors are friendly and helpful and the room comfortable. It was so quiet that I imagined there were no other guests but there turned out to be three others staying. Breakfast is a communal affair around a large table, most agreeable. It's worth noting the house number when going to find the property for the first time as I saw no other sign to indicate its identity. (doesn't mean it wasn't there but I didn't see it)'
9.3 Excellent
Pros: -Excellent breakfast including products (eggs, yogurt) made by the owners - Very friendly and available owners, giving also advice on what to see and do in the region
Cons: Room insonorisation could be improved a bit
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I liked much the house, very good room, clean and quite, and the owners very attent.
Cons: It is far from city center.
7.5 Good
Pros: Rooms are large and cool in the summer. The house in very nice and the private parking is in a good deep shade.
Cons: The kitchen area is unpleasant: it is very hot, it is quite smelly. The city center is far enough to consider hiring a taxi - and expect to wait 10-20 mins for Uber, for example.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Old renovated building with lots of character and comfort. Spacious garden. Gracias hosts.
Cons: We loved everything
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A lovely old villa carefully kept within the character of the building. Very peaceful place for a relaxing stay.
Cons: Would have preferred a room on first floor rather than second.

Pros: Classic city centre three star hotel. Quiet with parking at the front door.

Pros: Location to town centre was excellent only a few minutes walk. The ambience is awesome with a sumptuous room and view of the garden and Pyrenees on the horizon, staff extremely friendly.
6.8 Good
Pros: Bed was ok. Breakfast only fair. Had it Christmas Day and we were given a 10 minute warning to clear out. Offered only one coffee, pancake was cold. Unacceptable for €19 euros per person. So went into town for breakfast on other days
Cons: Everything really. Decor was shoddy the whole hotel needs some care and attention. I had to ask twice for towels to be brought to the pool. Had to ask twice for conditioner for the room. Outside the hotel looks good but inside is disappointing.we had just left chateaux du la mothe which was a wonderful experience.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely relaxed and quiet location with ample parking and easy walking to the centre of Pau within 20 minutes.

Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely main house with gracious public spaces and large outdoor pool. Very helpful staff.
Cons: Rooms in annexe good but a little soulless if you’re looking for extra charm. Nice enough though. A little out of the centre but flat to walk if you fancy a jaunt.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The receptionist was very welcoming and Rearranged a room for us which was spacious with views of the garden and mountains. It was nice to have both a bath and shower with the room. Our evening meal both looked and tasted delicious.
Cons: Unfortunately the only waiter available could not translate the menu for us as his English was more limited than our French. There were only two other guests for dinner, so the evening lacked ambience
7.0 Good
Pros: The standard rooms are comfortable, good big beds.
Cons: The cost of the bar drinks, not much atmosphere. Breakfast too expensive for what you get
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly located to see around Pau but in a quiet, peaceful spot; Easy and plentiful parking. Lovely grounds with a big pool, a very striking and fine building with a nice indoor spa. 30+ rooms so serious infrastructure. Excellent restaurant and bar, great food, very fine and pleasant service everywhere. we'd go back any time.
Cons: All excellent, no negatives.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location & safe parking.
Cons: I stayed here 11yrs ago, enjoyable. On this recent stay I thought the hotel lacked any atmosphere and with the exception of the receptionist on arrival the staff seem bored and uninterested to providing a warm or welcoming service. We ate in the restaurant, the food was average, not inexpensive, and the service was not as I would expect in such a hotel. I would not eat here again.

Cons: Small bathrooms
7.5 Good
Pros: Convenient for the autoroute.
Cons: Slightly tired. Contrary to some reviews, there's not much choice of places to eat nearby, except the usual chain eateries that you might expect in an edge-of-town commercial area. There is a tex-mex restaurant next to the hotel, but I won't be eating there again in a hurry.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable wth air con (which was much needed in 35+ degrees) and a large bathroom. The restaurant next door served nice dinner.
Cons: We arrived for breakfast (not late) to be told there was only 1 croissant left, so only my partner or I could have 1.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Accurate location and close to event I was attending. Comfortable bed. Plenty of clean towels
Cons: Almost had booking cancelled as despite advising check in time at time of booking and offered options up until 11pm, hotel said last check in was 9pm and my room was cancelled & card charged. Didn’t call me despite phone number being provided at booking. Sign in room saying no food allowed in room which for single traveler is poor - didn’t state this anywhere on booking.com Sign in lift about renovations taking place, again not stated at time of booking. Breakfast automatically added to booking for first day No milk available at breakfast Room cleanliness wasn’t great, very dirty carpet.
7.0 Good
Pros: Friendly check-in lady. Room clean. Evening access clearly explained
Cons: Cracked tiles in lift, poor lighting in shower room. Glacial wi-fi.
7.3 Good
Pros: Great location, right off of the interstate, and even though reception closed at 9pm, they helped us re-open our room after-hours when we locked our key code in our room. The receptionist spoke English very well. Cute, clean rooms.
Cons: Other reviewers have said the same thing, and I'll say it as well - the rooms are small! The extra bed under the double bed is a bit hard to get out, and there's not much room to walk around when it is out. Still, the rooms worked out fine for one night for our family.
6.7 Good
Pros: The room was very fairly large and the bathroom good. The staff also spoke some English.
Cons: We arrived early but didn't have a reference number required to automatically sign in.
4.0 Okay

7.2 Good
Pros: Fantastic value hotel. Only a few Euro more than the economy hotels but far better equpiped. Staff were delightful and quietly efficient. Our children made very welcome and adjoning rooms with secure shared lobby offered at no extra cost. Rooms well equipped - not large but nicely designed and spotless. All public areas also pleasant and very clean. Breakfast good value. Secure parking a bonus. We highly recommend the Altica chain of hotels.

Pros: I liked the room and very comfortable bed. I liked the code entry systems which meant we could arrive after reception shut.
Cons:
6.4 Good
Pros: Hotel was very clean and just refurbished, basic but comfortable facilities and I would be pleased to book this hotel again.
Cons: A very minor point is with the majority of French hotels they do not provide basic English T V which I assume with digital broadcasting they now could as the language is selectable.

Pros: Easy to find. Friendly service. Warm and comfortable room. Safe parking but off site for a small charge. Nice spot just on the edge of the old town.
Cons: The staff did not speak English. I know I'm in France but the front desk of a hotel should speak a little I think. .. I speak enough french to get by but would have been in trouble if I hadn't. Breakfast was very basic.

8.3 Excellent (2,262 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Quick Palace Pau in Pau (Pau Nord), you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Château de Pau National Museum and Palais de Sports de Pau. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was compact but comfortable and perfect for a one night stay, before continuing our journey to England. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom had a nice shower. The receptionist was extremely helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was continental style but more than adequate and good value.
Cons: The location was out of Pau and not within walking distance of attractions. A delivery/ rubbish lorry arrived about 0530 - stopping very close to our window. Our sat nav could not locate the hotel with the address on the confirmation and we had to be given two more street names before we could drive to it.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was very comfortable and had everything expected. The breakfast was laid out really well and a good selection.
Cons: Not a thing really.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really extremely kind, i strongly suggest this accommodation.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location near to Autoroute. Cheap therefore don’t expect too much! Bed was clean and the room reasonably quiet so slept ok.
Cons: A bit dated, impossible to take a shower without soaking the whole floor of the bathroom. Have stayed twice in 10 days, breakfast on second visit was poor.
7.5 Good
Pros: Close to the motorway.
Cons: They didn't have a record of our booking, which they had already taken the money for. Luckily they had a spare room. The toilet seat was only attached one side and the flush was also loose.
6.3 Good
Pros: Large comfortable bed and quiet, efficient air conditioning.
Cons: Very basic and not good value for money €200 for two nights). No soap or shower gel in dispenser, but shower topped up when reported. Bedside light not repaired. No towel rails.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is a no frills, basic one which is reflected in the price. The room and bathroom were small and overall decor dull, but having said this, it was very quiet, had lots of parking, was convenient for drivers if you want to get in and out of town quickly and had a good breakfast. If you want somewhere just to lay your head for the night, this place works well. Since there aren't many restaurants nearby, they have a dinner arrangement with the Best Western across the road, which offers a great value, high standard formule.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and help yourself. The staff were lovely, hotel in nice surroundings down a little cul-de-sac so quiet at night. Bed was comfortable, and good aircon as it was extremely hot.
Cons: The shower and toilet were awful - the water went everwhere as there was no shower curtain, and there was only a slatted louvre style door between the bathroom and the bedroom so you really do have to not worry about privacy or noises...or, take a radio in with you and play it LOUDLY!
4.5 Okay
Pros: Quiet
Cons: The bathroom was awful, no privacy at all as it was open to the room and the sink pipe was broken so we couldn't use it

Pros: Anais at the front desk was such as helpful as they come. Strikes by the Giles Jaunes blockednour route and we weren’t going to get to the hotel before the front desk closed. She facilitated entry and gave me her personal cell phone, taking it upon herself to make sure we were comfortable. She was a gem!
Cons: Few food choices around the hotel.

Pros: The indoor pool is lovely - nice and warm and long enough for a reasonable swim. The reception lady was very helpful and attentive. The apartment was comfortable and the kitchenette, well equipped and conveniently arranfed.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good spacious private apartment with very good daily cleaning service. The apartment had a very well equipped kitchennette to enable us do our own breakfasts and other food. The bathroon was very nice with a good walk in shower. This property was very well situated for our visit to the Pau International Horse Trial's which are held at the racecourse on the edge of Pau.
Cons: We do not think these apartments would be suitable for families particularly with young children.

3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: We got a family room that didn't match with any of the photos in booking.com and was in the basement next to the laundry room. It looked like a basement / park garage transformed into a room. It smelled like mold and it was dirty. We arrived late and could not find other alternatives and the person at the reception said no other rooms were available. However, in the morning, we could understand from another person in the staff that other rooms were available in the upper floor. We ended up not having a good stay that maybe could have been avoided.

7.0 Good
Pros: Because I didn't notice the message sent by the host, I arrived a bit early than the expected arrival time. The host was kind enough to settle me in the other property. The new room was spacious enough with typical French decoration which I really appreciate. The environment of the property is calm.
Cons: Maybe it's because out of time, the kitchen and the bathroom were not that clean, frankly speaking. The living room and bedroom were okay though.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly clean, it was in a great location and had great views of the street below. It has a large, seperate and well furnished lounge which was a perfect to relax with a glass of wine whilst looking out the open window.
Cons: Hot water took a bit of finesse to get running at the right temperature but this was possibly due to it running through the room radiators. After my shower all the radiators in the flat had heated up but I certainly don't call this a show stopper. Only other thing is that this place has no receiption so you have to meet someone to let you. It is important to make contact before arrival to avoid delays getting in.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: 1. The apartment is right in the middle of Pau, but still near the station (up the hill from it). 2 Separate living room and sleeping room. 3 Not far from L'Isle de Jasmin teashop. Charming place in a class of its own (Boulevard des Pyrénées)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice welcome.
Cons: Smell just a little bit smoking.

Cons: In this price bracket nothing to complain about

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast with very fresh products and viennoiseries.
Cons: The individual aircon was very noisy. Could not be used for long and never for the warm nights we spent. But we did not choose the highest rate room, so...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had traditional room on the corner, with great views in all directions. Very large room. Great stay. Staff are all very friendly and very helpful.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was amazing top floor with good views, round and full of original features even the doors were curved. Centrally located and free secure parking
Cons: One of the Male receptionists wasn't very helpful, he didn't get us a kettle instead of coffee machine, as the room directory said was available, he said that wasn't possible. The next morning the lady on reception said that wasn't a problem and a tray was I our room on our return. He also seemed to spend alot of time at the door having a cigarette not a good advert for the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Located right near the old town and all the shops and restaurants Lovely breakfast and very clean and comfortable rooms
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: No a/c only a fan and room was quite warm decor very old fashioned
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was close to city centre. Room was a good size Staff were very helpful and friendly at all times
Cons: The airconditioning unit in the room was useless and very noisy, so noisy you couldn’t sleep with it on. We had to ask for a fan instead. Breakfast was rather basic and overpriced. We only tried it once, then went to a cafe down the road subsequently.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Position good, staff good , prices very reasonable for city centre
Cons: No Air Conditioning, fans only therefore bedroom very hot. Outside temperature 35c. The photos of rooms on website and outside the hotel were nothing like our rooms.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, old building in a great part of town. Staff was very helpful! The room was large and clean, and the bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Construction was going on across the street, so it was noisy in the morning. We had to keep the windows open due to the heat and no AC in the building. The shower had now curtain, so it was tricky trying to keep from flooding the bathroom floor.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in the Superior Double room so we did have a bit more space. Furnishings were very dated but I guess it adds character if that’s your thing. Room was clean, bathroom was clean. We did stay for only one night.
Cons: Rooms and facilities are in need of an update. We had an early check out so decided to have the Continental buffet breakfast which was woeful. Coffee, fruit juice, and scrambled eggs were edible but everything else left a lot to be desired.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location in centre of Pau. Very helpful receptionist and beds were good. Airco was a plus albeit quite noisy.
Cons: Finding the hotel by car in the one way City centre was problematic due to some road closures. Particularly offloading in front of hotel entrance was not overly clear.

7.5 Good
Pros: Staff very efficient and friendly. Breakfast very adequate.
Cons: No lift Possibly a little too basic
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The rooms. We were given the wrong room the second was very poor. Toilet in a cupboard with no handbasin and no ventilation. No air conditioning and opening the windows impossible due to the noise. The street was very noisy. The first was a music fiesta which we accepted and enjoyed. The next two nights sleep was impossible due to an over enthusiastic DJ at a bar opposite then lots of noise in the street from a nearby club and people in the street until 6am. We left early on a Sunday morning and the street had the remains of the revellers night which can't be described here and no not just litter. The list of my complaints is too long to list. There is nothing in my opinion to recommend this hotel.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Adour. The staff were so lovely and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious and the location was amazing, right in the centre of Pau. Also, the breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay here again.
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff are great. Helpful and friendly. Location is central. Good WiFi connection. Breakfast is a typical French breakfast (a very generous basket of croissant, bread, coffee, tea, hot chocolate ) along with a yogurts, jams & butters, cereals, juice, cheese & saucisse.
Cons: Old hotel - no elevator (which is why this is a French 2-star) creaky spiral staircases - if you have heavy baggage, a long lug up the stairs. Rooms are small - don’t expect to have much space for baggage. No air conditioners - beware if staying here during the hot periods. The hotel is located within the pedestrian only area. A long walk with heavy baggage may be necessary.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, comfortable and good location. Staff is very nice.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice personal reception; Nice breakfast
Cons: The Street
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The central location.
Cons: Wi-fi did not work (in room 24)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location in heart of city. Great value.
Cons: Not the newest and shiniest hotel but sensational value for location.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was nice and the location is perfect to walk around the city center
Cons: They could have had an elevator (but that's the American in me :) I know not to expect one in most places in France under 5 stars)
Ibis Pau Centre - Pau - Building

7.5 Good (771 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The ibis Pau Centre hotel is located opposite the main post office. Only 20 minutes from the airport, it is close to several restaurants. It has 61 air-conditioned rooms, including 3 equipped to accommodate disabled people, a bar serving snacks and quick bites 24 hours a day and a private, covered car park. Business guests can make use of free WIFI access. Golf course 3.1 miles (5 km) away, tennis courts 4.3 miles (7 km) away.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The matress was comfortable, and good hotel position in town.
Cons: Hotel is tired needs a it of work not a 3 star, breakfast terrible.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Hotel very well situated for visiting tourist sites and the town. It was very clean and the free parking (if available) at the back of the building was a bonus. Breakfast food nice and despite the fact that the coffee was from a machine (always a negative point) it was drinkable.
Cons: The bedroom was very small for two people with virtually no space to put clothes. The bed wasn't particularly comfortable and made worse by a plastic type fabric on the mattress topper that caused "overheating". Only one socket in the room! For two people each with a phone to charge, a camera to charge and an electric toothbrush (no socket in the bathroom) it was a disaster. The bathroom was only suitable for a child. It was the smallest bathroom we have ever been given. The sink was well below waist height for me at 1.67m (5 feet 6) and impossible for my husband at 1.9m (6 feet 3). There was no room behind him to bend to use the sink. The shower head was okay for me but only came to chest height for him. The bath towels were very very thin and no hand towels were provided. Whilst the breakfast was okay the clearing away service on the Sunday morning was terrible. Whilst 3 staff chatted at the main reception, we had to clear a table in order to eat as did two other couples who arrived later. Better service on the Monday.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Copious breakfast. Excellent location
Cons: 1 staff at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful. The other one much less so.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good clean hotel , very helpfull staff
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Secure private parking Central location Good-value breakfast Clean, quiet room Friendly and obliging staff
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect for a basic nights stay in Pau. Secure motorbike parking underground.
Cons: Breakfast is basic and not much variety.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Adequate facilities, clean and very central in the city.
Cons: We booked two parking spaces in the hotel's car park, but when we arrived they had been given to other people. It wasn't until I showed printed confirmation of this arrangement (made several months earlier) that the person in reception agreed that he would let us know "later in the afternoon" whether spaces were available. When one become available, the friend travelling with us realised very quickly that the access and spaces were designed for tiny cars, so useless! Ibis Pau needs to be MUCH clearer about these arrangements and keep records of bookings for paid under cover parking. Othrrwise, this supposed service is pointless and irritating for their clients.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, not too far from the gare. I came in via train to do some cycling and visit important Tour de France sites, and this was a great place to stay the night in Pau.
Cons: Everything was fine. The rooms are cosy, but normal European standards.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location.
Cons: No Tea and coffee facility
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location was perfect for getting around.
Cons: Car parking was difficult and chargeable. Room was tiny and cramped for 2 people. Rooms need updating.
