Pros: Close to work location, good location. Free breakfast
Cons: Dirty, corners were filthy with dirt and hair.
Pros: The bed was super comfortable.
Cons: Our room sat right off the parking lot lights from Gas station kept shinning through the window.
Pros: The people, the facilities, the beds were so comfortable, it was a quiet room, the continental breakfast. Everything was excellent.
Pros: Friendly staff, and they had the fireplace burning a couple days. Also bed is very comfortable.
Cons: No breakfast because of covid 19. Also shut down the pool .
Pros: Easy in and out of rooms.
Cons: Maid failed to clean room. Nightly rate to stay changed from day to day unbeknownst to me. When inquired, was told that rate changes based on demand for rooms. I stayed an extra day. How would they know what final capacity of hotel would be in any given day until hotel was filled.
Pros: They allowed an early check-in so that we could make it to our afternoon appointments.
Cons: We were there for two nights. The room was not freshen up after the first night.
Pros: Nice and clean.
Cons: Breakfast was weak. Very limited in comparison. Kids in the hot tub. Strong smells of smoking both cigarettes and pot. The young lady at the desk was very nice and helpful and was spraying the hallways to get rid of the smell. Get rid of those guest
Pros: The location is near major stores. Free pet policy. Staff was very nice.
Cons: Temperature was hard to manage in room. Stayed hot. The tv cabinet drawers stayed open. Breakfast was ok.
Pros: Staff are great. Free Pet policy.
Pros: Price. Pet policy. Location. Staff.
Cons: The washer and dry could be replaced. The exterior needs some freshening up. Especially the back.
Pros: As soon as we walked in we were pleasantly surprised with the decor and the cleanliness of the lobby. It was a breath of fresh air to see. The room was wonderful as well. We had a great time and will DEFINITELY be back!! Thank you

Pros: Breakfast was great. We met the woman who ran that area.
Cons: Noise was terrible from other travelers. We could not sleep two of the three nights.
Pros: Came for the breakfast. I was not disappointed! Soft, comfy bed and fluffy pillows. Tremendous value!
Pros: Cleaniness of the hotel and room and the staff were very nice.
Cons: The free breakfast was a sad sight to see. The best thing about it was the coffee.
Pros: Was beautifully decorated in side and out Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly
Pros: Location is great. Easy to get to Cleveland,Akron, Canton and Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Good restaurants are nearby as well.
Pros: I liked that it was close and in the city and that it had a pool/hot tub.
Cons: I was not at all happy that 1 I paid entirely to much money when they closed the pool area due to the virus and then for breakfast we was handed and orange and bottle of water I feel I should get half of my money back since all was not given that was said
Pros: Great water pressure! Also, indoor pool and hot tub. Super close to Cuyhoga National Park (which is amazing!)
Pros: convenient location to the turnpike friendly staff
Cons: Price too high for quality level. Room maintenance not kept up. We could hear every word our neighbors said, plus their fighting and amorous activities, until well past 4am. Fun times with my young kids who were thankfully asleep. The room advertised was for two Queen beds; they did not feel Queen sized. The location was in a not-great part of town. A man I suspect was homeless came through the hotel doors then into the common area around 10pm and took a lot of breakfast cereal before leaving the hotel. I'm glad he got a meal; would prefer this not occur.
Cons: Only one chair in the room that had 2 double beds. limited equipment in the exercise room.
Pros: The bed was very comfortable. There was a door between the sitting area and bedroom.
Cons: Very very noisy. You could hear every sound in the room next door as well as the cleaning staff going room to room. Hotel really needs updated.
Pros: The staff here is very friendly, and helpful, resolving a billing issue for us very quickly. Check in was quick and smooth. Breakfast was very good.

Pros: Ummm for the price it was okay
Cons: The fact that they didn’t have anything you needed. No sugar, No coffee cups, no one was at the desk to get clean rags and towels or to check out when it was time to check out. I was told to just leave it on the desk. The whole night dogs was Barking.
Pros: Very kind staff
Cons: Need some serious updating and maintenance
Pros: Motel look like it was under renovation. It was a quick one night stay. It was quiet and you get what you pay for. Other motels in area and we choose this one for the 39.00 one night.
Cons: Could have been better breakfast.
Pros: Breakfast was good and the pool was fun staff was great
Cons: Hot tub was not working
Pros: Staff was friendly , it was quiet and clean
Cons: Everything was fine except for the coffee pot was dirty and had old coffee in it. Other then that it was great.
Pros: Price was good.
Cons: The first night when we checked in we encountered an extremely disrespectful male receptionist. He was unprofessional and rude. Even when I reminded him about his attitude he would continue with his rudeness, cutting me off in the dialogue, etc..
Pros: Good location. Incompetent staff ruined experience. She made many mistakes and continued telling me each one was not her fault. (they all were) she talked non stop about nothing while trying to fix each mistake. Dirty breakfast area with missing items.
Cons: Incompetent desk staff. Same woman who checked me in was also the breakfast attendant next am. She first checked me into an occupied room. The second room was ok but had no tv remote. The phone didn't work to request one even though it was plugged in.
Pros: The staff was very friendly.
Cons: The hot tub suite the ceiling was falling apart and you only had the option of the multi color changing lights. The stair to the hot tub were carpeted and wet when we got in there.
Pros: Hot tub and Pool
Cons: Breakfast was cereal, toast, and Eggo waffles. Coffee was nasty. Other hotel guests were loud all night and staff did nothing about it. Stayed 2 nights and did not get clean towels. No laundry facilities on sight. No refrigerator or microwave in room.
Pros: The dead moths all over the hallways.
Cons: Ummm....everything? Broken hot tub, no pool towels, loud people at 2am, slamming doors all night, cigarette smoke, yelling children in the middle of the night, un- vacuumed floors
Pros: I liked the fact that it was only $35 to stay a night.
Cons: we booked through expedia/kayak and booked a smoking room and got a nom smoking. The pictures said there was a jacuzzi tub in the room and there wasn't. They definitely stole the pictures from another hotel. We asked to be moved into a smoking room and they had no rooms available. We didnt want to stay and by then we had already checked in so i knew we were going to have to pay for one night but they didnt want to refund us at all! they wanted us to still pay for the whole visit which was 3 days 3 nights. We spent 3 hours on the phone with expedia/kayak customer service and the first representative didn't want to refund us anything and we had to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor was able to refund us about $180 and give us a discount off the night we stay but we had to check out the next morning. there were no other smoking rooms available at any other hotel around super 8. We had to cut out vacation short. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Easy check in, beds were comfortable, breakfast was good and there was plenty of seating. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in the area.
Cons: We had no heat in our room but problem was fixed as soon as we told front desk. We were given a new room.
Pros: Nice breakfast.
Cons: First room we stayed in for awhile, long enough to find out the heating wasn't working properly. They then moved us to another room on the 4th floor where the heater worked fine but we had asked for a quiet room. To many slamming doors to be quiet!

Pros: Clean and comfortable beds
Cons: I requested and paid for a handicap room because I was traveling with a lady who had both knee and hip surgery. I was given a room on the 3Rd floor. I would not consider the tub/shower handicap accessible, nor the toilet.
Cons: Fire alarm at 12:30 in the morning. Poor to no wi-fi service. Not 100% satisfied!
Pros: Very clean and nice breakfast
Pros: the comfy bed and hot breakfast . the smoothie
Cons: I book thro booking .com and got comfirmation . However when I check in at around 10pm they cannot find my name in their system and take a long while but the staff help me by calling to booking .com customer service and then I get my Room after a long distance drive .
Pros: Beds and pillows
Cons: No bench in front of hotel
Pros: Beds were comfy, property including rooms, pool and lobby were clean, and the breakfast was good.
Cons: Not enough hot water for morning showers
Cons: Hotel room was not clean, visible stains on comforter and floor. Pool was cold with visible algae/dirt on the bottom.
Pros: Breakfast was good.
Cons: Smell of sewer gas in hall.
Cons: The shower water wasn’t even warm the last day. Also there was someone down the room from us blasting their music at 6am. We called down to the front desk to get it resolved. A half hour later it still wasn’t resolved so my boyfriend went to their room and asked them to quiet down and it was fine after that, but the fact that the hotel didn’t do anything first was kind of ridiculous.
Pros: Loved it all

Pros: Just fine
Pros: Smaller hotel which allowed ease of movement in and out of room elevator, to pool and the parking lot!!

Cons: Did NOT appreciate an external alarm at 9am sunday morning.
Pros: Close to where I needed to go

Cons: The checkin girl wasn’t pleasant and kind of rude
Cons: A lady tried walking right into our room! The door was locked!!!! Thank goodness that we had the latch on so the door only opened about a inch or 2 inches.. but how did she open the door!! We never found out who she was but the fact that it happened still bothers me!!!

Pros: It was clean, quiet and simple.
Cons: The bed was stiff as a board.

Located in Macedonia, Key Inn Macedonia is a 2-minute drive from Fun 'n' Stuff and 6 minutes from Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location and cost.
Cons: The room wasn't available. The key card didn't work,we were given a diff room people live here & outside partying all night. We had no towels, no remote and no ashtray. The staff wasn't able 2 get any of those things bcuz daystaff had the keys. Cold room.
Pros: Nasty place I ever been in an I left and didn’t get a refund
Cons: I did not like the hotel at all bad hotel needs to be shut down
Pros: It gave me a senior discount
Cons: Hard to get to
Pros: The only benefit to this property is that the price was a lot lower than any other place. During covid-19 we needed an extended stay type hotel but within our budget due to lay offs. The lowest price we saw was for this place that wasn't all the way out in "no man's land". I will say this, you get what you pay for!
Cons: I did not like how they never properly emptied our trash bins. We would get our bins the next day with no liners in them! There was no housekeeping, we did our own, (we kept in mind covid distancing) and we had to go down to the lobby 3 times just to get a sheet set that fit properly.
Cons: The room was very dirty refrigerator wasn't clean neither was the shower . Sheets were stained n wasn't able to get other ones cuz of no housekeeping there after 3 pm n front desk didn't have any either.
Pros: reasonable priced, refrigerator in the room, great TV, pretty much it was clean.
Cons: no carpeting, no coffee- neither of these are that important to me.
Pros: I didn’t like the property at all.
Cons: The room was not clean at all, still had leftover soap in the shower. The first room I was given had no toilet paper and the toilet was clogged. The second room I was given had a dead battery on the door. The third room had urine all over the toilet seat and the sink was sticky and there was no trash can. The fridge also was moldy and smelled terrible!
Pros: Location perfect for dining shopping and entertainment.
Cons: Damaged door locks, bathroom interior crumbling, stairwells filthy poor internet service. Should have offered senior discount.
Pros: Location: It was close to where we needed to go. Price:
Cons: Room was really filthy. No hot water for a period of time. There was a TV but no remote. Smoke detector was missing with wires hanging from the ceiling. Best/worst of all we found a plate of moldy food in the microwave.
Pros: Remove immediately. The security guard would not let us stay the desk people wanted to write down our information the computer was not working. Poor area. Bad bad bad
Pros: the staff tried extra hard to please. WiFi was OK. Price was super.
Cons: elevator did not work, there was no refrigerator or microwave. clearly a "work in progress"

Pros: Nothing. Will never stay there again!!
Cons: Room had a bad smell cracks in walls cupboard missing coffee maker no coffee pot by sink with no water worst was whirlpool tub hadn't been cleaned and a whole tub of brown scum came out of jets!!! Nasty.. And I only hope I did not catch something from it!!! Place should not have even been open.. whole place was under construction and was awful!!! I really should get my money back!! Should have stayed at the Hampton next door stayed there not long ago and it was great!!
Pros: The room was nice
Cons: Facility currently under renovation. Most of the amenities that werw listed as available (breakfast, pool, hot tub) were not available
Cons: Very dissapointed with both booking.com and this accomodation. I was looking for a hotel in France when this was booked instead. Due to an error in the app? Anyway this was months before the actual date of stay so I requested a cancellation no less than 3 times. All three times I was promised a response within 48 hrs. Not even a response, but of course they gladly took my money.
Cons: Paper was peeling off walls, bathroom was cold like an ice box, maids did not clean the room/hallways.
Pros: The bed feels amazing and the staff was really friendly.
Cons: Bathroom wasn't the cleanest
Pros: the staff. They were courteous and very helpful
Cons: the room was okay. the shower was sucky it squirted everywhere from the pipe coming from the wall. the pool room was inoperable. the ice machine was broken. the eggs were burnt every morning It was really dark when I got there. a lil scary
Pros: Hotel was clean.
Cons: Very few custetmers, yet they put me in a handicapped room. Why?
Pros: Free breakfast
Cons: Pool is not open. First room assigned had not been vacuumed with pieces of crumbs on floor. Also a/c unit was very loud. Staff was able to change us rooms. New room was clean but mildew growing on ceiling in shower. Elevator flooring torn and dirty.
Pros: The location was great and minutes away from where we were going and easy access to highway. The staff were polite and helpful.
Cons: Not kept up. Ice machines broken. There were 3 garbage bags of beer, trash, liquor bottles throw off to the side of the ice machine. Halls smelled of smoke. The room was not cleaned the best. Overall run down. Overpriced at $---/nt should have been $-- max
Pros: Location was good. The room was large, seemed clean and had nice amenities like fridge, microwave and coffee maker.
Cons: The lobby is a mess. I know they are remodeling, but even so, dirty windows and strong chlorine smell was off-putting when walking in. There was a power outage from 2:30 am - again not their fault but staff seemed ill prepared to deal with guests.
Pros: Convenient location - breakfast was good - variety of options
Cons: A lot of things were broken ie pancake machine at breakfast, hot tub, sauna
Located in Hudson, Norwood Inn Hudson - Akron North is connected to the convention center, within a 15-minute drive of MGM Northfield Park and Brandywine Ski Resort. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. This hotel has 6 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The reception staff was courteous and helpful under horrible circumstances.
Cons: When we got to the hotel at 10:30 pm, there was a long line and people sitting everywhere. Every seat was taken and there were groups sitting on the floor. There was one woman at the counter who had sat on the bench outside and had fallen through to the ground. There was only one desk clerk. She was also answering the phone. A guest was repeatedly calling asking for a remote that apparently wasn’t available. The clerk was flustered but kind. After a long wait, I got to the desk and was told my room wasn’t ready and that it would be several hours. She said that there were no clean rooms and that there were more reservations than rooms. She offered a cancellation, so we left.
Pros: The room was very nice. The town is lovely. It has a lot of potential.
Cons: Our experience: - Arrived around 10:20 on a Friday night (later than we had expected) - No one at the facility when we arrived - everything locked; no one answered phone (repeated attempts); so we were stuck wandering the perimeter on a could dark winter night in february - We walked around the facility knocking on doors and windows for about 15-20 minutes (it was 20 degrees) - Finally someone happened to drive up (he was there for random maintenance) just as we were about to give up - While the maintenance person went inside to make a call, we waited outside (for about 15 more minutes; recall ~20 degrees) - Finally we were admitted and shown to our room - Turns out the maintenance person was there to work on the water system; so no working shower (since we had been waiting outside in ~20 degree weather for a while it would have been nice to be able to take a warm shower) Next morning: - "MAKE SURE TO STOP BY THE FRONT DESK" on a piece of paper slid under our door; by front desk they mean the cash register of the hair salon - we stopped by -- it was to make sure that they had our credit card on file (even though we had paid electronically beforehand) - we suggested that they let customers know that it is impossible to get in touch with anyone from Solaire after a certain point in the evening (maybe this is posted somewhere, but it certainly wasn't obvious); or maybe someone could be "on call" for customers who have (paid in full) reservations who arrive a little later - the response we got was very defensive: on the order of "it was the receptionist's fault; she was supposed to call you" ok, that's fine, people make mistakes. there seems to a bigger issue with Solaire -- the Inn seems to serve as mostly ignored "add on" to the spa, salon and restaurant. I've worked in the hospitality industry. I don't want this review to sound angry. My wife and i had a really great weekend overall (there's a great cooking school around the corner). We live fairly close and could imagine coming back to the town. its cute. But the Inn just doesn't seem to work as an Inn. If you do give it a try -- maybe make sure to call a few times in advance to make sure they know you're coming and get a sense if they have any interest in customers' actual experience with the Inn.
