Convenient location, delivered as promised.
Staff was very friendly and professional, rooms were clean and well kept, room was quiet, room temperature control is a thermostat on the wall instead of the typical window control unit, the window heating/cooling unit was quiet and didn't keep me up all night, room had plenty of space, WIFI was good. Breakfast was ok, wish they would change it up a little every day. Stayed there a week and having the same choices for breakfast every morning got a little old (it was still good though!). The door was a little hard to open and close, of course, this was because the room was recently renovated and everything was brand new (door probably needs to be broke in because it was new).
The rooms need updated.
Location Not a 3 star hotel, room had smoke smell, dingy rooms
they had live entertainment in the bar that was excellent. part of my selection of this hotel was for the hot tub. unfortunately it was in the familypool area and was over run with children. I thought it was neat that they had two pools and entire area dedicated to families. just wish there was an adult hot tub.

When arriving to the hotel I called ahead to see when my room would be ready, I was told 3pm. When I got there I was told it would not be ready until 4pm. I didnt not get into my room until 6pm after a 10hour drive.
It was easy to get to my destination. The restaurant/Bar is not very good. They need more TVs that can be seen from the bar. Breakfast was poor.
Food and lounge. Room had strong chlorine smell and was moved to another room with a strong deodorizer smell. Very noisy hallway wit ice machine and chattering. Would never recommend. Very old hotel too.
We loved how family friendly the hotel was. The front desk staff and the childrens activity staff were amazing! We can't believe all the fun activities they had planned for kids. We did crafts, then archery, then a movie in their even room with snacks! What I was sad about with this hotel was the cleanliness of the pool. There was significant mold and mildew on sides and floor. They could use a good scrub. There was mice also found in the pool area. The mice were pointed out to staff and taking care of.
The pool area was very nice as well as the lobby area. The rugs were very worn and old. The hotel was very old. Our room had damage and rust on the bathroom door. The hotel needed be updated in all areas. The outside was not landscaped and the parking lot was old . The paint was worn off the parking spots.
Separate Adult and child swimming pools Room smell
Staff was responsive Fitness center was in poor shape. Many pieces of equipment weren't working. The water was shut off at 9 in the morning. This property is old and perhaps you should list the date the facility was built or renovated.
It had everything I needed. It was a bit hard to navigate due too its size.
I liked the suite. The kitchen area was convenient. Having Wifi was great and easy to access. The room was clean and parking was accessible to the unit. Great for overnight stay. We traveling from our winter home to our summer home. So having the refrigeration was excellent The breakfast area was clean and the basic offerings were good. The place needs a lot of repairs. Construction was going on and that I presume they are going to bring the place up to date. The units need updating
Came in to sign for my room and the desk clerk decided to write a lengthy note, (paragraph) and put me on hold. The place was not busy what so ever...no other guests. She could had easily put the note down in order to take care of a client. I didn't receive an apology for the delay. Also, she did not mention the extra $50.00 being added to my credit card of which is for incidentals. They have my card on file and should only charge it in case it is needed.
The room was very spacious and had a nice kitchen area (would be nice for extended stays), but guests would have to bring certain items such as garbage bags, possibly extra toilet paper. The room and breakfast area was very clean, and had a decent breakfast. For a night stay it was worth the money, would come back here if visiting the Toledo area. The door to the room was rusting and very difficult to open the door. Also the outside areas, including the facility needs some serious updating and couldn't imagine having to clean this place during the winter., as the upper rooms seemed difficult to navigate. The people at the service desk were good overall, but waiting to make sure didn't get charged twice as we had prepaid for the room. I think it is probably understaffed and the management seems not to want to put a great deal of money into the property. For a Wyndham property, I am surprised they haven't forced the management to update this facility.
The way the rooms faced the outside made it feel more isolated The room hadn't been cleaned well. There were four pillows and two had visible dirt and hair so obviously they weren't cleaned and a third was ripped in half. The garbage hadn't been taken out after the previous occupant. Also, after having to sign a no parties waiver, the police showed up at 2am with three squad cars to break up a giant party in the parking lot outside our room. Where was the hotel security and if they couldn't handle the situation, why weren't the police called earlier. Half of the people in the parking lot obviously we're not guests in the hotel. This hotel should be closed.
This was our thire visit here. The room was clean and they do a nice hot breakfast. We will stay here again. The particular room we stayed in is in need of a new mattress for the bed. We told the staff and they were glad we let them know and will replace it!
THIS HOTEL WAS FILTHY!!!! My room was absolutely horrific. I thought it would be fine since it was a Wyndham property. My room had hair all over the sheets, there was dirt and bugs swept into the corners. The desk was sticky and nasty. When I arrived there was no toilet paper on the roll in the bathroom. I am a business professional that has worked in hotels for over 6 years from the Hampton Inn all the way to Ritz Carlton properties and this was the worst stay I have ever had in my life. With that being said I didn't expect the Ritz but I expected the bare minimum..like clean sheets a clean bathroom and toilet paper on the roll. I will tell my friends and especially my coworkers never to stay at this property!!
Great location Excellent bed No towels, not real clean. Outside decking is so worn, I was afraid it would break off. It need a huge capital investment. Great price.
I loved the spacious room. I was also pleasantly surprised by the full kitchen stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and most other equipment I needed for a basic meal. It was advertised as having fitness facilities. I thought that meant they had a gym. It turns out they don't have a gym, but they do have outdoor sports facilities and an outdoor pool, which isn't much use in the winter.
The bed was comfortable, and the free dinner every other day was nice. The shower was nice as well; good water pressure and temperature control as well as a good shower head. The entire room smelled like mildew and slightly like urine; it was extremely off putting. There were not enough kitchen utensils to cook normal meals and some of the pots and pans had been used but not cleaned! The carpet was damp and smelly; I had to walk around in flip flops because the floor felt so nasty on my feet. There was a screen on the HVAC closet door that looked like it had been collecting dust for months and was never cleaned. Definitely a health hazard. Under the kitchen sink there were cigarette butts and stale old potato chips. The patio had a busted light and and old pizza box, not to mention all the cigarette buts on the ground out there. The Window by the desk was absolutely covered in cobwebs and bugs. The garbage disposal sounded like it was grinding up broken glass, and a few seconds after its used, a smell of month old rotten food wafts up from the drain.
The location was fine since the area is not very large, many of the hotels there have very similar location advantage. This hotel is just avarage, nothing special at all. Chose it for the swimming pool and when I got there, it was not accessible. I spent the one night I had already paid and moved to the Days Inn the next morning. Their staff are upset before you start talking. They are very unfriendly and "I can't" seems to be a favorite among them. Will you believe that when my wife tried to call me there the front desk clerk would not help her on any way to reach me??? "Linda was her name" told my wife she could not pass me the call if she did not give her my room number. How in the world was she suppose to have it if she was trying to reach me upon my arrival to the hotel. Linda told my wife "to get a hold of me and get the room number from me, if she wanted their staff to pass me the call" That was unheard off and so uneducated I could not believe it when I spoke to my wife. And the second front desk clerk was in total agreement with Linda which told me they have a management problem. When my wife called the hotel and was treated with no courtesy whatsoever, she asked to speak with the manager in duty and she was told that the manager was not in and was not coming back for a "few hours" I wonder... Who is running this place??? Will absolutaly NOT recommend this hotel when there are so many other hotels around, with staffs as nice as they can be! Went there for the pool and it wasn't even accessible!! Bad, bad, bad.
I think your reviews are artificially inflated. In the future I'll use Trivago, Google, and Trip Advisor and avoid Kayak and Priceline.
The staff was very nice. The room was clean and large. The room and the entire facility was in need of an update. The room looked nothing like the picture. The facilities were run down (you could see there was a lot of exterior work being done) and the grounds were not kept.
The front desk girl was great! The hotel was clean and the pool/hot tub was awesome! After hours in the car it was relaxing. Great Stay!
All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Stayed for several days and got to know the head of house keeping and cleaning staff. They did an excellent job. Very good breakfast as well. I would highly recommend this hotel.
bed was comfy it was old and run down, noisy
What did you like? Looks like the beds were at least clean. What didn't you like? The rooms were nasty. Cigarette butts under the beds. Only one light worked in the whole room. There wasn't a normal air/heating unit. They actually had a window unit sitting on the floor as the heat and air...
Nice staff & super cheap I75 is a mess
Cheap. Safe. Quick check-in and check-out. Stayed here one night with my daughter as an easy alternative to a two-hour commute (4 hours round trip) back to the area. The lobby is nicer than the rooms but the rooms matched the price. Arrived late in the evening, slept and left early in the morning. Old furniture and room that wasn't the cleanest but the carpet didn't make me want to wear socks to walk on it and the bed didn't seem dirty or make me think twice about sleeping in it. Stayed in room 114 (I believe, one room off the corner on the ground floor on the front side of the motel). Bathroom drywall seams needed repair, were popping but no holes in the wall or anything. Sink, which is just outside of the bathroom, was old with porcelain discolored (but I don't think the drain was rusted). Shower grout needed cleaning, we left w/o showering.
The hotel was quite new and the rooms were beautiful with a full kitchen if you were so inclined. This is an extended stay type of hotel as such it did not have breakfast available. From what I gathered th rooms have only one bed. If you need two you had better check with the hotel in advance.
The cleanliness of the room I loved that it was perfect.
Rooms were very clean and staff was always accommodating. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone Not a thing
Everything about this hotel was superior! When I checked in and out, the desk staff was super friendly. The room was immaculately clean. It had all the amenities we needed (and you could check out other amenities from the front desk for free. Nothing!
location and cost smoking room was the only room available
Internet issue, Was not able to use my computer whole time.
The layout of the room was perfect! My non-smoking room had definetly been smoked in!
I was surprised by the in room amenities. I didn't know we would have a kitchen, that was great. Also, the overall layout of the room was fantastic, it felt very spacious and not cramped at all. I wish we had a king sized bed in our room, although the bed was super comfy.
nice little gift shop staff was a little weird but overall very good experience you too much bleach on the sheets
The location was good, the hotel was clean, very friendly staff. Yes, I thought I was booking two double rooms, or at the very least a suite, there was just one double bed, and no let out sofa.
cleanliness and comfortable bed Mechanicals in Room 207 in need of repair: AC controls didn't respond - had to unplug; refrigerator clicked and popped when it came on. Hard to locate the hotel coming south from Hwy 80.
Beautiful for a Holiday Inn. But overpriced. Per Kayak this hotel has a pool with water slides. Well this hotel has no pool at all! It is attached to a water park that is NOT included in the price of your hotel room and isn't open Monday thru Friday. you are allowed to use the pool at the Comfort Inn across the street, not the cleanest place I've seen! Thank God we didn't stay there.
Quiet No free breakfast and felt the price was high for what was there.
It was an outstanding value. Very comfy, lots of room, one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff interacted with the guests in an extremely positive way. They all seemed to be very interested in giving us a pleasant experience. Well done Staybridge Suites! We'll be back It was a bit out of the way. The great value and wonderful staff more than compensated for that
great accomodations, service was phenominal I cant give a better rating!
Big bedrooms and space for everyone to stretch out and relax Not all dishes were clean
We liked everything about our stay - really enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub after a long day on the road. Convenient location walking distance from a variety of restaurants. Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was large and clean. Breakfast was well stocked with the usual make your own waffles and eggs and juice. Everything you need for a pleasant overnight stop Several reviews had mentioned a smoky odor in the hallway. We noticed that too but our room was fine.
Room was decent over. Had a hot tub and pool. Meeting room which my group of people used both nights of my stay. Breakfast was good. Pool and hot tub needed cleaned. Overall pool room in poor condition.
Great room set up and very friendly staff! The pool and hot tub were clean and everyone had fun! Smelled kinda funny in hallways
Those are the only highlights Musty hallway odor - cigarette smoke hallway odor - exterior doors were never secured - even though the doors had electronic keys to enter side doors - just pull and open
Nasty, noise level was crazy, could not sleep due to people banging on the walls
Nothing No light bulbs in room and carpet was wet and ac was not working right
The parking lot is a congregation point for day drinking and smoking for a lot of colorful characters. It's also not terribly clean. Close to the turnpike, but certainly not worth the price.
Pet Friendly with no additional pet fee. Loved the wood laminate flooring and updated bathrooms. Great value! No locks to get into the hotel from outside. Please consider key locks for this.
The pillows are great. I slept soundly. Restaurants, gas, and groceries very close. Great A/C. Maintained temp a huge plus. No elevator to 2nd floor. I found out too late. Person at desk did assist. Front desk never answers phone so no wakeup call and no working alarm. LATE.
The employees were so friendly, helpful, and pleasant! The bed was very comfy. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I've had in a long time. Biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, eggs, bagels, pastries, waffles, cereal. ... so good! They had a big field out back to walk or dog also. The coffee was nasty. The room was clean, but needed updates.
quiet, nice staff no friends of guests allowed. Staff said " it's a quiet hotel, not more than one or two extra people in your room." Since we were in town visiting this was silly to me.
I am originally from the Toledo Ohio area and got exactly what I expected: a clean, reasonably priced room that was a good value for the money. The heater worked well, but there were only settings for "low", "med", and "hi". When I entered the room, it was comfortable. Over time, the room started getting too hot because there was no thermostat to regulate the heat. Not a big deal, but could be fixed very cheaply with great result.
Location It is currently going through remodeling and the elevator is not functioning. This was not conveyed to us beforehand. Climbing stairs with luggage was a chore. The breakfast area seating is not adequate for the hotel.
Comfortable room, friendly staff, good breakfast. The hotel was clean, and although it was fully booked when we were there, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a king size bed which was very comfortable. The coffee wasn't that great. The room was quite cold when we arrived but the heater soon fixed that. Of course it was November and there was snow and ice on the ground.
Staff was very helpful, understanding and perseptive! The clean sheets and soft pillows. The great breakfast. The very, very nice attendant for the breakfast!
I have severe allergies to cigarette smoke and had to deal with waking up in the middle of the night to the smell of someone smoking which only got stronger into the early hours of the morning. I had a bad sinus headache all day. If rooms are non-smoking, then the smoke shouldn't be billowing in through vents from smoking rooms. I choose NOT to breath 2nd hand smoke, but this choice was taken from me...
Staff was nice and room was clean. But no fridge in the room. C'mon man!
Clean, pool, staff was friendly, overall nice place A little pricey for it being out of the city and right off the interstate. $160 a night was high.
Very clean, neat and well updated. Decently convenient location. Staff is very friendly. I'd gladly stay here again. Bed was extremely hard. Windows are thin and let in a lot of noise.
There is no ice on the first floor. The lady at the front desk was nice enough to get us some from the back. With the way the front room looks i thought the rooms would be nicer. It said it had renovations done but new pillows and pictures doesn't usually count as renovations. We always stay in Marriott hotels this one is my least favorite.
convenience and access with walking distance to Levis Commons there was no shampoo in room and it needed more towels
It was a great experience for the price. $--- for a clean comfortable room. Nothing fancy, just a clean room and a comfortable bed.
No frills...quiet....cheap....sleep and back to work That stale odor that is common with older units

Clean when we arrived. Plumbing, refrigerator, microwave and heating all worked. No telephone. No clock. No coffee maker. No housekeeping service. No one at the desk or answering the phone at night. We had to call to ask for clean towels.

Location, waffle house next door as well as speedway gas station. Cable, flat screen TV, fridge and microwave. Molded caulking around the shower and tiles. Tiles we're actually falling off the wall. I could actually see inside the wall. Pillow were the travel size pillows. It was fast and efficient.
no room service. but then you get what you pay for.
Was overly surprised and impressed with this hotel. Checkin was easy and the lady was very friendly. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Quiet room even though the interstate was right there. When you spend less than $-- for a room it was great No clock No hair dryer
Price The smell of the room.
