Queen bed room with only one bed. I was under the impression there would be two beds.
Clean, location, good price Non smoking room smelled, no lid for the toilet, no shampoo/conditioner and extra charge for wifi
Umm nothing For the price of this hotel it wasn't what I expected
It was in a nice convenient location. The staff were great. The Everything was clean and neat. Room smelled like smoke even though it was a non smoking room. I should have complained and asked for another room or some spray to kill the nasty smoke smell. Restroom did not have a privacy lock and the vent did not work.
Clean, simple room, great for when you just need a place to sleep and shower. Hot water stays hot so you don't have to worry about your travel companion using it all up. Love the grocery store and restaurant options across the street. Safe area. The toilet seat looked a little worse for wear, I couldn't tell if it was dirty or just showing its age. Also, the lighting by the mirror is too harsh and makes applying make-up a difficult task.
Easy parking and access to businesses close by/coffee places. Really noisy mostly from freeway noise.
I always come back. Very nice staff. Clean room. Quiet atmosphere.

Price. The bed was totally worn out.
The close to pinole The front desk attendant is hard to understand and is rude at times and not willing to make compromise for long time Coustmer. Usual one star hotel without a lot of low lifes
shops within walking distance.
There was nothing appealing about this hotel whatsoever. Poor customer service, ants all over the hotel room no matter how many we killed, false advertisement of a sauna that does not exist. When complained to hotel, all they could say was we've renovated which clearly doesn't show.
Perfect location near FWY, shopping center NA
Basically location, the staff was rude the room nasty and I will never stay there again Dirty room rude staff Comet heater didn't work low pressure in the shower Exedra Exedra
The location was very convenient just off the freeway yet still in a peaceful and quiet location. Many food establishments and stores around the corner. The rooms were nicely furnished and the breakfasts were good. The beds were comfortable. The hotel doesn't have much of a street presence, so if you blink, you may miss the sign for it. A little better signage would be helpful. The staff was professional, but not warm or welcoming. I expected a few more amenities for the star rating.
The breakfast was good, the shower was hot, and the beds were decent. It's very close to I-80. There aren't a lot of options in the area, so I am glad this was decent. The maids use plug-in air fresheners and sprays when they come to clean, and it made our allergies miserable. I came back late and had to air out my room at 11pm because the smells were just too much. The parking lot kinda sucks and the walls are thin.

Free breakfast and cleanliness :) Noise for the roadway
Breakfast The carpet was old and felt dirty, the 'free' wifi connection was not working, the shower was luke warm, the AC rattles and the walls are as thin as paper. I asked to speak with the manager and my request went ignored. ---bucks? Seriously?
Cozy bed. Great tv. There was trash left in a trash container.
It was easy to find and near a nice shopping center with restaurants and grocery stores. Our first 'non-smoking' room smelled like a cigar factory. They moved us to a less smelly room, but there was trash under the bed and what looked like blood smeared on the bathroom wall.
Cleaned up well. Wi-fi did not work and they could not fix it. No sound insulation! You hear everything from neighbors and outside!
We wound up here by accident--my mom was very ill and having emergency surgery, our train was delayed...I am disabled, in a wheelchair, was exhausted and traveling with my even more exhausted 7 year-old. We arrived to the friendliest, most patient staff ever...there was no rushing us and they simply helped us get to our room and rest. They were courteous and genuinely helpful at a time when my tank was well beyond empty. It was a wonderful place to recharge during a very difficult time! Very high marks to the staff!!! The rooms were also immaculate and extremely comfortable.
We reserved a king room; we were given two doubles... "All sold out."
I arrived at 2ish, was really hungry, and went straight to grab a drink and bite from the restaurant. It was nice to know it was open. After such a long drive, was not in the mood to get back into my car after checking in to go look for an outside restaurant. And especially, the room was ready didn't have to wait til 3pm. Thank you 2 things I didn't like.... 1. Once I got into the room wanted to relax before heading out to a business dinner. I believe there was a basketball tournament. I can hear the kids out in the hallway being loud. 2. I think your prices at the restaurant are a little too pricey.
The room was nice and clean. Staff was a little rude, and didn't really want to help us out. Also the additional $50 a night for insurance no one told us about. And they charge you $18 a night for parking whether you park there or not. The food wasn't the best, I've had better food at a complimentary breakfast buffet. Definitely not $17 worth. The people in the room next to us were smoking weed and the entire hallway reeked. For what you pay, I expected more from Hilton.
Pros : Animal friendly while still being upscale they provide water and food bola and a pet bed Breakfast in bed Super accommodating Very friendly staff Pool and jacuzzi mini fridge didn't work so well (we brought a cooler though) No air circulation in rooms. VERY STAGNANT. But it's a hotel so I didn't really expect to be able to open windows or anything, just a general pet peeve of mine
the rooms are nice that the parking cost $15.00 per night
Everything apart from parking $18 to park is kinda ridiculous when your already a paying guest staying at their hotel. Basically s back handed way to make their room rates look cheaper. They reduce the room rate by 20 bucks and then add a $20 parking fee.....
Nothing I do not plan to use Hilton if I can avoid it in the future.
Beautiful view from the 10th story of the Oakland hills First night we arrived to an open bottle of almost empty wine in the warm fridge which caused the room and fridge a near permanent odor. The a/c durino our stay seemed to only work 70% of the time. 2nd day the shower was draining so slow that the water reached your calves and it took to days to be fixed. The door to the bath room was near to falling off its hinges. The fact it cost more than the much better crown plaza hotel and paying 15$ to self park. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, I'd suggest the crown plaza down the street.
Excellent bed, television, cable tv selection, fast and consistent wifi, pool and hot tub. Trader Joes across the street to stock the in room fridge. Inexperienced restraunt staff, across the board.
Location,restaurant and room.
The room was large, clean, and bed comfy. Just what we wanted. Check in was a breeze, and the indoor pool was lovely. There was no blow dryer in the room, just a minor thing. And also no towels are available at the pool so bring some from your room! The biggest problem we had was at around midnight someone jiggled our door handle and tried to come in. I looked out the peep hole and saw a staff member walking around looking confused. our phone has just rung minutes before that happened, waking us both. Also, we had our do not disturb sign up but the maids still knocked and tried to enter early in the morning.
fair service and facility.
Manager's reception Tuesday nights. If you have considerate (quiet) neighbors on both sides and above you, and you don't want to sleep in, this hotel is fine. Thin walls and ceilings. Old carpet. Did not get room I requested. Food at the bar is average at best. Housekeeping started knocking on the door at 8:15am.
Beds were super comfy. Employees overall weren't very friendly. The guy who checked me in at 1 am was friendly. Others when I went to the desk to ask a question they didn't look up and greet me unless I started speaking to them. I work in the hospitality industry and this is not the way to treat guests who you want to return or give good reviews.
Drove up to parking lot and knew my car was not safe there, ghetto people just hanging outside rooms. ??
Good location, good price Parties going on each night at the hotel. Loud music, I mean really loud. Police came to take away one party attender. Didn't feel that safe even though security was on site.
Friendly staff. Uncomfortable bed.
The beds were comfortable and linens were clean as well as the facilities. However the swimming pool was out of commission for some unknown reason, in spite of it looking quite inviting, but it was closed. The plumbing needs attention, lines were reversed and no drain plug for the sink.
Absolutely nothing Everything
It was overall good I had not one but three bad run ins with Maria. She was just rude and made us feel like we were a bother. We had a question about the rewards program and she said she would have the other lady at the desk help us later what that doesn't make since your not doing anything, so we just left we didn't even stay the last two days at the hotel. Oh the house keeper was awesome
Filthy, old, worn out and run down!!
Staff tried their best. They were competent working with what they had. Horrible Internet
The gym and breakfast was the best. It was also great to be so close to dinning and the freeway. Maid service never came. Was a little disappointing.
Our room was fantastic. We paid a little over $100 and we were put in a room with a nice chaise lounge, a comfortable King bed, and (to our surprise) a kitchenette larger than the one in my first apartment! It comes stocked with all of the dishes, utensils, pots and pans you need to cook full meals! The staff was helpful, and they had no problem accommodating my request for no down pillows (I'm allergic). Overall, it was a fantastic stay at what felt like a luxurious hotel. We will be looking to stay here again when we come back to San Francisco.
Great rooms for a family. Nice accommodations. My kids love the breakfast.
The room was very spacious. Liked the full kitchen, it's very helpful when traveling with children. Very quiet and relaxing at night, complimentary breakfast was great, convenient location with shops, theaters and restaurants within walking distance. The room was spot clean, overall a great experience. The shampoo and conditioner didn't work for me and it would have been nice to see a little more color in the room(my personal preference).
The rooms were clean, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, and an extra blanket provided. Everything I used in the kitchen and living areas worked well, and the room was efficiently designed. The front desk staff was extremely pleasant, the made-to-order omelets were very good. I liked the close proximity to eateries and easy freeway access. Ample parking. Key card readers at all exterior doors worked well (not always the case, so happy to see). My room had an extremely noisy bathroom fan and the shower did not drain properly, so I would stand in 3 inches of water at the end. There was no ice when I got in, so I turned on the ice-maker, which was very loud the first night. The noise from the adjacent rooms shower was a very high pitched squeal (they showered at 5am).
comfortable bed. Great shower and bathroom. clean. The front desk people were very pleasant. Only one sink. no refrigerator. for two nights our phone didn't work and after 2 calls they brought a new one that did work. The cheapened it up a bit. No longer have a free breakfast like they did a year or two ago. Bunch of noisy teenagers with a ball team on Saturday night. Not as good as when we stayed a year ago. Breakfast with eggs was $14--no thanks. Still a decent place but not 5 star
Very clean Super comfy bed Great staff Very close to fwy Very modern Room was a bit small
Courteous staff. Ice machines. Dining area. Would have liked a small refrigerator in room. Would have liked free snack, fruit and yogurt with coffee in the morning. Would have liked block out curtains between the exercise area and the bar/entry area. Would have liked exercise bikes facing out, so that athlete doesn't have to face wall, having people watch her backside bounce on the treadmill.
Clean with friendly staff easy walking distance for myself which is hard being disabled. So close to the freeway our view was of traffic all day n night
What did you like? You were one of the only hotels with an indoor pool in the area. We booked two rooms next to each other for our family and a group of teen-age friends. With the door open the rooms felt like one contiguous room; it was easy to go back and forth. The outside patio was very nice and no one else was using it. The front desk staff were very nice. We liked the lobby; it had several areas, including a fireplace that felt homey. The housekeepers were very courteous. What didn't you like? No negatives.
Staff very friendly Nice bar Very clean No fridge in standard room No usb outlets Very hard, lumpy uncomfortable bed No separate recycling bins in room
Nice hotel, friendly staff, comfortable, safe. I would stay there again. Tv would lose signal sometimes while watching a program. I came down early to the lobby to order a breakfast sandwich and a Starbucks coffee, but the cafe wasn't open. The front desk offered other food from their market. It was all processed. I found peanuts and a bottled Starbucks coffee, but there was a hotel tax added to each item. Disappointed. Expensive.
Clean rooms, well maintained. Hotel and Bistro staff during all shifts is very attentive and asking how else I can be helped. Very pleasant and professional experience - am a frequent guest there and has always been a good experience.
We had to arrive late and leave early. Staff was attentive and courteous, the room was clean and very comfortable and the breakfast in the morning left us rested and energized to start our day.
The hotel is very nice over all - the rooms are well-appointed with good amenities, the free WiFi is very helpful, and the breakfast is particularly tasty. The staff is friendly and helpful as well. When we arrived, having requested an early check-in, the room we were assigned hadn't been cleaned, which should have been checked prior, but the front desk was able to quickly reassign us to another room. We were happy from then, on.
Nothing!!! they do not know how to clean Vomit on the walls dripping into the carpet. this is nothing more than a crack house! Stay away! I would not let one of my pets stay there.
This hotel is conveniently located just out side of downtown San Franscisco. Also the cost is very competitive compared to the rest of the area. This is a good option for someone looking for an inexpensive place to just crash fro the evening. There are severe issues with the staff and with cleanliness. Management needs to better train the staff. It took 10 minutes for somebody to come to the front desk when we arrived. Our room was not ready for us when we checked in at 7:15pm which is pretty unacceptable considering that check-in for this facility is at 4pm. The front desk attendant needed better training. She continuously interrupted us to take phone calls on her iPhone and she did not issue us the correct room number. There were several cleanliness issues with our room. The pillow cases and towels all had highly visible stains on them. The carpet was also severely stained and was ripped up in several places. The overall cleanliness was pretty poor.
The staff was very unprofessional and mean The staff The place
I booked a 3 night stay at the Marina Bay Inn & Suites because my co-workers and I were working a music festival at the Craneway Pavilion. I saw that Craneway was only 1.8 miles from the Marina Bay Inn so it was a very convenient location. After booking it, my co-workers pointed out some negative reviews in which made us nervous. When we arrived, we didn't know what to expect. However, we were very pleasantly surprised! We were greeted at the front desk by a staff member who proceeded to check us in. She gave us recommendations on where to eat and buy some groceries. She recommended Point Richmond Market. We ended up going there our second day and had excellent sandwiches at a decent price. The hotel room itself was very spacious, clean, and even had a mini fridge and microwave (which was not mentioned online)! The beds were comfy and the towels were new and very soft. We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay and we will stay there when we work the festival again next year! Thank you so much Marina Bay Inn and Suites. P.S. the coffee and tea in the lobby was a nice touch and got us energized for our late night shifts. We asked at the front desk about the breakfast in the morning and they said it was recently discontinued. I think a continental breakfast in the morning would be very nice since there aren't many places to eat within walking distance.
The staff was really rude and argumentative. There was a fire, a few rooms flooded, and domestic violence disputes in the room next to me. I had to contact corporate during my stay. If i would have been able to be refunded i would have left immediately.
The staff were excellent. The outlets don't work.

Location Questionable crowd/missing cabinet/room not thoroughly cleaned/car broken into during stay.
Staff There was a black widow in my ac unit and in the bathroom behind the toilet. The towels were never completely clean and in the laundry room out off the six dryers they had only two worked. The never had quarters for washing either.. Overall 1 star
Location Not enough towels no ice machine rooms were not very clean though the second one was better than the first still not to the standard you expect from any hotel the rooms should be clean regardless of star rating.

Stayed in the car after 3:30am as the fire alarm went off and my room was flooded. So no shower/shaving/sleeping. The Grab and Go Breakfast wasn't available; I had to see the desk for coffee pot;had to call support for wifi as they had my last name wrong.
the location was nice. workers were excellent. Been @ this hotel before. First experience was great but second time was not the best. Hairs on bed, shower would take forever to drain, Loud. looked like they did not vacuum well behind furniture. bed not made well. pillows looked thrown on bed
my room did not smell bad elevator did not work-exterior door would not open with room key no cups in room.no shampoo or conditioner-the first room I was given, the toilet was filthy. crap all over it. looked like somebody put a diaper in it. woman at registry insinuated I did it
The staff. The clerk who check us in was really nice and professional The bathtub had hair clogged in the stopper it was disgusting. The water would not drain out because it was so much hair.
good location, friendly guests, cheap, spacious room, good heating, well lite, nice view of bay understaffed, brown water from bath faucet, dirty windows, wrinkled sheets, crappy satellite programming with few channels, no grab-and-go breakfast.
This place was horrible charged me an extra day when i booked it to arrive at 1 am. first room we where given was trashed with the bed flipped up against the wall staff members where rude, and the room i was finally given was dusty and smelled rate negative stars if i could!!!
The location was good, which made getting in and out fairly easy. They gave us a room that impregnated everything we owned with that stale, musty stench of cigarette smoke and ash. At first we didn't think it would be that bad, and we didn't really have the time to waste complaining. But wow, we should have asked to change rooms! Then again, they never gave us a choice for smoking / non-smoking rooms. Also no outlets conveniently located. AND, we got no maid service for the 3 days we were there. They just dropped off new towels. So at the end of 3 days we had a pile of 9 scratchy towels.
No free WiFi
Room was clean. Bathroom smelled of strong disinfectant. No mold. Carpet decent. Shower was clean. Check in and check out were fast and easy. No electrical outlets at all on bed side of wall. We had to go by an extension cold to plug in sleep apnea machine. Small old tube TV and older decor.
It was cheap It was gross
Nothing It smelled like a bowling ally, there was lots of hair all over the bathroom, things were broken everywhere. It just needs to be tore down and rebuilt.
The pros-the night staff was courteous, except (Andre) who was less equipped to manage his position. The site manager was also accommodating to the situation at hand. The lacking or delay in systems, that caused me to be turned away from checking in at a acceptable hour. As well as the custodial employees that should at the mimimum be able to respect the do not disturb sigh clearly posted outside our room.
My room stunk of stale cigarettes. I tried changing rooms and the next room smelled worse. Avoid this dump like the plague.
Location The room was dirty and dank and completely run-down. I asked the front desk for coffee and a coffee pot, and she said she could give me the coffee pot but they were out of coffee. (Funny, huh?) There was no breakfast offered -- even Motel 6 has packaged bear claws and coffee in the morning. This was a terrible value for the money. I would never stay here again.
This place was disgusting. The staff not friendly or helpful. I would recommend it to anyone regardless of circumstances.
Nothing to write home about. Careful driving out of premises, right turn only, lots of parked cars...hard to see oncoming traffic. Older facility. Mishmash family owned establishment (Indian owner). Travel Lodge soap, best Western shampoo...whatever can be foraged.
Comically bad, especially for the nightly rate. You name it: stained carpets, cigarette burned duvet covers, a soiled desk chair, all from the late 70s/early 80s. It's like they're going out of their way not to update/upgrade their facility and rooms. Compared to the surrounding hotel offerings, this place is twilight zone-ish. Can't imagine anyone returning.
Convenient, cheap, and clean One of the staff was always on his cell phone.
Pillows, the location Bugs in the bathroom, people smoking outside the Windows, loud mini fridge right by bed
Good sized bedroom with everything working Rather sad breakfast room being refurbished and although room service was provided ordering the night before not great. Had to fix a time (and breakfast arrived on time) but prefer fexibility of going when ready and choosing what I feel like at the time.
Large room. Cheap rate. Poorly maintained. Plumbing is atrocious. Bed is cheap and uncomfortable. Old, courtyard style can't compete with modern facilities, including low price alternatives.
Clean inside and out. Felt safe for our family, good area. Comfortable beds. Free wifi. Yummy breakfast. Courteous staff. Quiet stay. Was not expecting it to be 10-15 min away from the freeway. However, this was minor once we got to the hotel and realized it was a nice place to stay.
The staff was pleasant and accommodating.
Pleasant staff Complimentary breakfast Accessable facilities Nearby shopping and pharmacy Our first room seem to be a little bit dark and scary. However, we are moved to a better room-double bed and was very helpful for my husband who had surgery that day.
Cheap. Wifi didn't work and they didn't inform me before I checked in that the pool was under construction.
Great value, location, and convenience. Friendly staff
The location on the highway was good and convenient for traveling through. And the price was good for the area. The room was very nicely kept and clean. The outdoor pool was open, though not heated, so was cool, but acceptable for the time of year. The flat screen tv worked well, as did the HBO channels. The king bed was comfortable. The shower head put out a very firm spray which was uncomfortable to use for very long. The air conditioning unit worked well, but didn't have a setting for cooling with the fan on continuously. The unit cycles on and off as cooling is needed, and it was quiet; we like the ones that the fan stays on for background noise. There were no tissues in the room. We requested them at the office, and the attendant said he would bring some to the room, which he never did. Maybe they don't supply them anymore. We could hear the tv from the adjoining room, but it was quiet after 10 pm so didn't bother us.
