Passenger van

After numerous calls to Enterprise, and several calls to my insurance company to secure a 12 passenger van for a birthday day trip to the beach with my 14 year old and her friends, we were told everything was all set for the 8am pick up. We arrived to find them pulling the van out to START cleaning it for us. Then were told the branch manager would not allow us to transport 14 year olds in the van. We had already gone over everything that was needed on our many phone calls but no one could tell us why we suddenly could not use the van. Everyone was standing in the parking lot at a loss. Absolutely unacceptable. Poor communication and will NEVER deal with them again.

Compact SUV

I went to pick up my car 10 minutes early than the scheduled pick-up time (pick-up time was noon and I arrived at 11:50 a.m.) and the location was closed. I was not able to pick-up my car. Instead I had to take a $100, one hour Uber to Albany as that was the closest location for me to pick-up another car. Then I had to pay DOUBLE to rent from what I had paid Kayak/Enterprise. I am extremely disappointed and I will not be using Kayak to book again.

Standard SUV

The car drop off location closes before the pandemic started. So after it took hours to get a hold of a real person and get a new drop off location, made me late for my job.

My husband’s credit card had been compromised, and we used one of mine to rent the car. He was not allowed to be on the agreement, and couldn’t drive the car — only me. It was a great difficulty, and spoiled the trip.

Cons:

Location was closed and no one contacted me before. I had to take a $15 cab to another location to get the car with a promise of reimbursement that never materialized. A huge hassle.

Cons:

The car was dirty and clearly not sanitized. With all that’s going on it was a great disappointment. Good thing I had wipes and Lysol to spray everything myself.
