Rooms were comfortable, bed was excellent. Facility well updated. Location was perfect. Staff at front desk was less than welcoming. Showed up precisely at check-in time young girl at front desk seemed to hope I walked away and seemed annoyed she had to actually get up from her chair and stop texting to address me (I was the only one in the lobby). After about 10 minutes she told me no rooms were ready......(at check-in time). She said we would have to come back later. This put a significant wrinkle in our plans. No HUGE deal, but she didn't seem to care AT ALL.
The bathroom reeked of cigarette smoke and cheap perfume. When I checked in I heard the manager tell another guest that they had plenty of rooms. Five minutes later, after I'd discovered the bad smell, the manager lied and said they were sold out. Then, five minutes later, after I'd turned on the room heat, the entire room reeked.
The only thing my wife and I didn't like was that the walls seemed kind of thin and you could hear what's going on around you.
Plenty of options for food and the included breakfast was fine surprise.
Requested a smoking room and was put into a regular room.
It was my first stay at a Homewood Suites and now I've found a new hotel chain (Homewood Suites) for my travels. My room was very nice and the staff especially attentive. The manager's reception was a surprise with tasty appetizers/snacks and wine/beer. I asked for a late check out (1pm) so I could conduct business and they were very accomodating.\nVery important to me was the Ethernet access to the Internet, which performed flawlessly. I even was able to use my Outlook email client that doesn't work in most hotel (I'm very security conscious and have my computer settings turned up). My email/Internet access also worked fine via a wireless connection in the lobby/breakfast/lounge area.\nI travel a lot and appreciated the 'hominess' of their hotel and the staff.\nGive them a try! You'll not be disappointed.

Hotel was clean and beautiful. The breakfast was wonderful. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. We even used the fitness center. We would definitely stay in this hotel again. The price was good too!
I was scheduled to visit a daughter in Bloomington on a football weekend and needed to be there both Saturday and Sunday. A comparable Hilton chain hotel was going forXXX a night in Bloomington, so I chose to drive as far as the airport in Indy, where this hotel was available forXXX (both prices before taxes). This hotel was in excellent condition and the only disadvantage was the drive back and forth to Bloomington, but this had its good side, the views along the highway were beautiful.
The motel was very well kept and clean. If i had one beef it would be the TV service. The response was slow and it was a labyrinth to navigate and stay on one service. The remote about wore out my finger from pushing so much. With that said it is a minor issue. Suite was nice and quiet. I found the computer speed in the business center to be good and appreciated the room was away from traffic flow. The breakfast was good but average. Over all a very nice stay
Well located near the airport. Staff was friendly, everything was clean, the hotel itself I think is fairly new, it had that new hotel smell. The only problem I had was that the bed was a little hard for my liking, but even that wasn't a big deal. Would definitely recommend, and will stay here again during future trips to Indianapolis.

I got bumped the day of my reservation because they said the "over booked the rooms" even though I had over 4 confirmations leading up to check in. I got moved to a room that was not very clean, and humid and everything was damp. After some weird buzzing outside my room started, I FINALLY was able to switch rooms, and the room was better, but the room was not really clean. I found hairs that were not mine in the sink and on the floor. Paint was peeling on the walls, and there were many cracks on the ceiling. It looked like the place had not been fixed for a while.

Excellent view, fast elevators, handsome lobby, pillows of varied thickness. Paying for wifi, paying for parking, noisy neighbors. This is trivial, but it mattered to me: the paper coffee cup they provide in the room leaked on my white shirt while I was in a meeting.

We were given the keys to an occupied room, which turned out to be an NFL player, then left in the hallway for an hour while the hotel tried to figure out where to put us. They told us the hotel was empty from New Year's Eve the night before but seemed to have booked the only two customers to the same suite! No apologies whatsoever from the manager of the hotel after the hour and a half inconvenience of looking at three rooms before finally getting to what we paid for. We were given a credit to the hotel restaurant and when we tried to use it the bartender told us to pay the tab and the front desk would reimburse us the next day. Thought it was weird but had somewhere to be so I paid the tab. Needless to say, we didn't get a dime back of the "credit" we were supposed to receive, instead we spent $70 on a restaurant we weren't planning to go to. The customer service we experienced for a Westin was unbelievable and they did nothing to make up for all the issues. Will never stay here again.
The food, particularly the oatmeal, was very good. Also, the room service and front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We had to wait well into the evening (until 7 or 8nat night) for our room to be cleaned and that only happened by then because we asked. Several times. The wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom, the shower curtain smelled of mildew and there was mold in the shower
The view from our room was of downtown and from the 13th floor pretty incredible. Everything we needed was within walking distance which for us was wonderful. For the cost of the room, tacking on a fee for wifi seemed much. Being in this hotel for business made conducting business difficult and the computers in the lobby were no help. I feel a bit like I paid for more than what I got out of staying in this hotel; beautiful, but pricey.
The location was great, and cannot be beat. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious and comfortable! Parking should either be included or discounted for those staying. We reserved a King deluxe facing the city and got 2 full size deluxe room facing air conditioning units on top of the conference center. Overall clean hotel, but for a downtown hotel for the price, it wasn't satisfactory.

Location No parking available for guests upon check-in. We had to find a public parking lot several blocks away. Bathroom sink would not drain. When the toilet was flushed, water backed up in the sink. Bathtub faucet was very loose from wall and fixtures didn't look clean.
the renovation finishes we not up to par, everything was sloppily done. our roon overlooked a nasty rooftop. we had to pay an additional $30 to park our own car on the premises after the room was over $150. Ridiculous and we expected a beautiful hotel. The whole lobby was under construction and it was embarrassing to have to bring my guest in to that.

Elevators were extremely noisy, If you are going to stay here, I would suggest a room as far away from the elevators as possible as they ROAR as they pass the floor each time - sound like a jet taking off - there are 4 elevators too...

It is a great location and could easily walk to restaurants, bars and the mall. The elevators were not great and the number it showed did not always match the floor you were on. The food at the restaurant hotel was not very good.

Our Room with a city view was beautiful. The bed was comfortable. It seems to be a clean facility/property. The location was great in accordance to the venue we were to attend. The Staff was attentive & courteous. I actually wish we could have stayed longer to see some of the cities history and sights. The Room was Kind of "Pricey"........ A few minor maintenance issues could soon need tending too...... The windows were sludgy/foggy. I was told during my booking that garage parking was included, but when we arrived, there was a $25 per night parking fee.

Parking garage was easy in and out. View from room was beautiful. Long waits for elevators, especially at night. Ice only available on 2nd floor. No refrigerator or microwave in rooms. Wi-fi and parking rates very expensive.
the hotel decor and staff were great. I paid extra for the "City View" only to be put at the back of the hotel. Also, our room was right beside the elevator. The elevator made a high pitched squeak every time it moved. We were celebrating our 22nd anniversary at the noise was annoying and kept waking us up.

well located, modern, clean, efficient staff. King size bed, while comfortable, needs to be "pillow top" as it is hard, even for a 270lbs man, to enjoy a restful night sleep. These should be standard in your concierge floor. Paying $31.00 for parking. The location does not permit parking on the street. This reservation was at rack rate.... Wi-Fi access, was "free" in the concierge lounge, but a $12.00 charge when in the room. Not too logical.

Most full service hotels have a very nice look from a distance but up close, are a bit dirty or have out dated bathroom fixtures. It seems like there's always some small disappointment. This place was very nice when we walked in, and was still very nice as we looked closer and settled into our room. It was a great hotel!

The decor and everything has been updated very well, but some of the elements of the building remain in disrepair - which to the credit of the Omni, they are working on. It was clean, staff were all nice, and the location was very convenient. It's an old building and there were two issues that arose from that - 1, The elevators were in repair during my three night stay, necessitating either a long wait or a long walk to the opposite wing. Not a biggie, but an inconvenience. Also, 2. the hot water took so long to come on in the shower I wondered if I had even used the handle correctly. It was very slow...but the building is older than dirt, so whattaya gonna do?

Urban feel, crisp, 2 excellent bars and outdoor terrace, hip, green, upscale, quiet but not dead, very accommodating staff, close but not in the noisy center of things. The art and furnishings are the best. I saw that a Yolk breakfast restaurant was opening on the corner. That's a great breakfast place. You can take your dog, they even have a place to walk him. Getting into or out of the parking garage seems to always be a a hassle. No pool, but sometimes that's a good thing = no noisy children. I just like to know I have the option. No rooms have tubs, but they have great showers.
The bar was amazing. Bartenders were extremely knowledgeable and it was a really fun atmosphere. I found two used bandaids on a pillow in our room. Ruined the hotel experience for me.

The art and design elements are excellent. Staff is friendly and accommodating to guests. The popcorn and hummus at Platt 99 (bar) was good. Nice Gin selection too. The first suite room I was given it had a strong mildew smell. The second room did too but just not as much so I didn't say anything. There was a water mark on the bathroom ceiling. (note: spoke with an Indy friend that was recently down there using a conference room during a heavy rain and water was coming near the windows. No doubt there's a water leak issue). The bed sheets had a tear in it and I ran out of toilet paper since the roll was low and they didn't leave a spare. The "mixology" bar is lacking the "-ology." The bartender hasn't studied much as she mixed my Tom Collins with Sprite. Just a notch above using sour mix. Went with just Gin and Tonic on the second round and got upcharged for Q Tonic. So, they hit it on the surface but miss on execution of product. The good news is it's easily correctable and I hope they do because this is a nice addition to Indianapolis.
We truly enjoyed the initial vibe walking into the hotel and seeing the colorful lamps. The artwork throughout the hotel was a bonus. Cannot wait to visit Indy again. The only downside...did not have a chance to go to the bar...next time!

The room was clean and the breakfast was was good. For the money it was a good deal. The TV stations were very fuzzy, not enough parking, and property is a little dated.
Close to airport. Extremely old building. It smelled awful, like cigarettes and unwashed carpets. Our room was not ready when we arrived and it took ~1hr for them to check us in. Felt extremely dirty the whole stay. Kitchenette had no soap and no lighting anywhere near. Poor staffing, they were rude and unhelpful. Would not stay again.
When we arrived we had to wait 20 minutes for a clean room, and once we got into our room the smoke detector was chirping loudly due to the batteries dying. Someone didn't come up to fix it for over an hour.

Room was clean, a little out-dated...but clean. Free breakfast is nice. The location is probably the best part about it, it's right off of 465 by the airport, super easy to get to. Wi-Fi was reliable and pretty fast, which is always a plus. Air conditioner worked fine, shower gave hot water all three days. Also the woman that checked me in was super friendly, I wish I remembered her name to give her credit. Short reddish hair. She deserves a raise. Mostly small complaints, but they did add up. The room I was in on the first floor was by where trucks drop off supplies for the hotel, so be aware of this if you're staying on the ground floor. The toilet was a little loud, kept running water, had to jam a towel underneath the bathroom door. TV remote wasnt the original one for the TV, so you had to scroll through the channels instead of being able to enter a specific one. The channel card for the TV was all wrong, and the aspect ratio of the TV was wrong too. Small things but combined they made the TV almost worthless. Bed sheets were VERY thin.

Staff was rude I handed the front desk attendant my credit card she placed it on the counter when returning it even though I had my hand out. During which time she talked about another customer being rude. She did it again with my ID I made mention of how rude it is to place it on the counter when my hand is out. She claimed she didn't see it. Then she didn't hand me my key cards she placed them on the counter and walked away and didn't even tend to the paperwork she had me sign. My personal information and agreement was just sitting out on the counter. I asked to speak to the manager the manager ignored my complaint and said they would look at the tape as if I made up how rude this woman was. He finally grabbed my paperwork of the counter and I never even received a receipt. I told him I have stayed here several times and have never been treated so poory. I asked was the elevator was and he sarcastically said oh well you have stayed here before and you don't know where the elevator is. I explained I had never stayed above the first floor. I got to my room 208 and it was still being cleaned so I had to load me and my daughter and stroller back into the crowded elevator to have our room changed because the rude attendant didn't even bother to make sure our room was ready and cleaned.
Shuttle driver named Leonard, upon my arrival to the airport I discovered that my rental car had been given away. I was having a meltdown to say the least. On returning to the airport with a different set of people, Leonard noticed and remembered me ,walked up and rescued me from my own meltdown, he the returned me to the Ramada hotel. From that point I was able to book a new flight. LEONARD IS AWESOME. I was reassured with a his calming words of wisdom and comfort. I really that that day Nothing I can remember at the moment. Check in was a lil rough.

Terrible hotel everything is dirty. I liked nothing about this hotel Well you get what you pay for and after staying one night I would highly recommend you see extra twenty dollars to stay in a better hotel. My room was filthy the breakfast was cold and the girl preparing it was coughing with her hand over her mouth and not washing her hands. When I said something to the front desk girl about how filthy my room was she laughed and thought I was rude. Never never again I will stay at a Wyndham hotel.

Staff was very frindly and helpful, close to shopping and good food we stayed 7 floors above the pool and the chlorine smell was very bad. And the pic. and wording did not go with our room.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel and room are very clean. The mall is connected to the hotel which is a very convenient bonus. We did order room service and the food was very good. The exercise equipment is a little outdated and not functioning well. Several of the treadmills' computer panel would not respond. The breakfast was good not great, I would like a few more options but it was good with good fresh fruit, oatmeal, cereals, eggs, etc.
My priority with picking a hotel is cleanliness, and this hotel delivered. It also has a great location, and it feels great to be able to walk to the mall and restaurants after being on the road all day. That the wifi is not free.
Bed and pillows were comfortable. $10 charge for WiFi. Room had only one serving of coffee.

It was a very nice hotel inside and the doormen were very friendly and welcoming; the bed was comfortable, although we didn't care for the feather pillows. The woman at the front desk was slightly condescending based, i'm sure, on our appearance (we didn't get fully dressed until we got ready to leave the hotel for the evening); also, the room was a little smaller than we expected for the price-not at lot of space to move around.
We left with what appeared to be some sort of bites. After some investigation, we discovered they were bed bug bites. And they turned into very itchy and painful sores. More developed in the next couple of days. We did call so they could exterminate the bed. Frank said he would comp the room. We never asked for it but why say it if you aren't going to do it.

Nice rooms, nice bar. Horrible service at the 24 hour cafe. Worst Starbucks coffee ever. There was a party going in that involved strippers and having the police called, not exactly family friendly. Not the hotels fault I suppose, just bad luck.
The Chef and wait staff in the restaurant/lounge were outstanding. The Chef especially is a real treasure. The evening desk clerk was excellent also. No special problems.

The rooms were spacious, with very nice decor. The bed was very comfortable, and the linens were very nice also. The staff was excellent. The location of the hotel was perfect for our destination choices. The hotel in general was very clean. The pool was difficult to get out of. One set of ladders only had 2 steps and the other set was in the deep end and had 3 steps but still was hard to get out of the pool.

The room and bathroom were very spacious and the location was great. My son left his stuffed animal there and the housekeeping staff was great! They overnighted it to us the next business day. All the staff was courteous and helpful.

Our room was very spacious and the hotel was in a great location (close to shops, restaurants, etc). The beds were comfortable and everything was squeaky clean! This hotel was a bit expensive (but was nice) and there wasn't a shuttle to and from the airport. The cab fare was about $30 plus tip.
