Good resorts with fantastic swimming pools- nice and clean beaches- big and comfortable rooms. Poor food in all inclusive- only 2 Restaurants in all inclusive overcrowed during lunch and dinner when other 5 restaurants not in ai are empty.
We had an evening meal and a breakfast, both were very good. Nice size room with fantastic sea view. It was quiet given the time of year (October). But relaxing. A lovely pool, but the water was very cold. So disappointing. We just used the jacuzzi. A very annoying ventilating system in the bedroom. It was quite noisy and kept me awake.
I like everything, sea, beach, rooms, pools, cleaning and figures from the blankets and towels. no
Big promise from outside big disapointment from inside!!!! biroracy
The second bedroom in the apartment was without a window and it was not possible to put the two separated beds together. Since we were two couples and a child, we had to add some money and book a 3-bed apartment. The food could be better for the price the hotel requests.
Very nice and large room (rather an appartment with fully equipped kitchen). nice Facilities and large beach. Poor food.
The hotel is wonderful, excellent service, clean and kept clean all the time, close to the beach, although the sea water is full of sea weeds. Breakfast is excellent and plenty of food (we stayed BB so we don't know how the rest of the meals are). Wonderfull, big apartment, room cleaned and towels changed every day, pool towels available, excellent resort of its kind, wonderful pools, clean and good pool bar. Very good service at the Reception!
The hotel was modern, clean, spacious and has good facilities. The 2 bedroom apartment provided plenty of room for a family of four and was cleaned regularly. The food in the restaurants was generally good, if a little expensive, with good selection for the buffet breakfast. The hotel itself was not clearly signposted and there was no clear indication of where to park or check-in. The surrounding roads where unfinished and muddy. I was taken aback when the front desk asked me to pay in full for the accommodation on arrival. I thought this was both rude and unnecessary. It lacked the refinement suggested by the 5* rating.
Room big and cleen, staff good english speakers and very friendly Poor food, no service, no diapers at the table, no bathropes and no sleepers in room, no toilet around swimming pools, alambicated operating hous at the pool
Good restaurants If you promised the room kitchen is fully equipped it should be. Rooom c6-27 Sept 05, - Sept 15 - No kitchenware exept some forks, tableware and glasses. There was two ansuccessful and one successive appeal to thr reseption for a teapot. One can feel a bad smell in the bbadroom.
This is the best hotel on the Black Sea Coast.
This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. A really nice room, good bathroom with seperate shower. The whole hotel was very tastefully decorated. Spa facilities second to none. We deliberately sat in the no smoking section in the restaurant and somebody was then allowed to smoke on the next table. When will they get that this is not acceptable.
Facilities were great, the room was spacious and nicely furnished, balcony facing the sea. Hotel was extremely child-friendly. In the course of the three days we stayed there, our room was not cleaned.
I like the SPA facilities, as well as the cleanliness in the hotel. Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful. There is no consistancy in the services provided: based on your luck you might get a friendly staff or you might not. Same proocedure in the SPA is delivered in different manner by different therapists.
comfort, intimacy, excellent spa area. poor English of the staff.
Nice relaxing spa. Clean rooms, beside the beach This is a russian hotel built primarily for russians. This is not a western run hotel
Our accomodation in the hotel was more than excellent. The stuff was very polite the rooms were more than 5 stars room as for the spa everything was clean and beautiful the breakfast was very rich and you should also visit the atrium. Of course I will visit again this hotel.
The hotel definitely looks impressive and looks promising. Some of the staff however is extremely rude and I think this is not appropriate for a so called 5 star hotel. I made my booking for the same day (booking confirmed at approx. 5pm) and I made it there at 1am - the receptionist looked like she really didn't want to be there and after I gave her my passport she told me that there is no reservation!!! After I showed her my confirmation letter from booking.com I was surprised that she just stared at me (like yeah, so..?) and simply said "you don't have a reservation". Oh! And she refused to speak English to me (I was speaking English to her). Finally she told me, very calmly that the hotel is fully booked and that's it! I was forced to spend the night in another hotel (another 5 star which was horrible!!!) only for one night (thankfully). And next day in the morning I returned to Grand Hotel Pomorie to speak to a manager, in fear that they might charge me as "no show". Turns that the hotel had plenty of rooms available!!! As I had no choice since there is nothing else decent in town I stayed at the hotel for one night. Finally, the hotel is not bad but it's a shame that they allow such ridiculous things to happen. And also that they let such incredibly rude and ignorant staff to work there.
The spa and wellness center
Hotel was good clean and had lovely sea view room. Food was very good. Would go back. Restaurant waiting staff were on the whole slow and not polite. All other staff good.
The rooms at the hotel are excellent, much better than would be expected for the price. The location in Nessebar is fantastic, everything is in walking distance and there is a lovely little outside area to have breakfast where you can watch the world passing by. The hotel is spotless and very well maintained. The breakfast was poor, and the service in the restaurant at breakfast was also poor. It was however out of season and the restaurant was not open apart from breakfast so maybe it is better when the restaurant is busier.
Nice room with sea view. Nobody keeping an eye on things at breakfast. Had to find somebody to get more eggs.
The food was very good The view from the room was of the A/C units of the nightclub and casio which lay between the hotel and sea. The nighclub doesn't close till 4am. Also could see the trash can outide the club and the rats running around. Most of the facilities are chargeable and closed at 6pm. Room not cleaned.
Friendly crew, great food, clean rooms, bit high prices, close to the beach and the centrum, but quiet place
Quite simply the best hotel we have stayed in. The spa area is quite simply magnificent. Not in the liveliest of area's however.
The hotel is new, well furnished and located in the park area very close the the city center. SPA is very good and not expensive. There is very nice swimming pool area with a sea view. The food in the restaurants and its variety is poor.
With one word; magnificent! It is as in its name "grand primoretz" I wish all the rooms would have the sea view. The rest perfect.....
Perfect luxury hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The food in the restaurant is excellent with combination of friendly and good English speaking waiters. The location is perfectly quit and in walking distance (5mins) to the city center. Parking is not a problem here!
Excelent hotel comparing to a good price! The food in the restaurant ala carte is superb! I've seen a lot of hotels in Bulgaria but this is definatly one of the best. They charge normal prices on the minibar which is also really ok!
The hotel is nice, but choose an other restaurant.
The Hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. They tried very hard to make us feel welcome. No, I would go back there again. However a facility to make tea/coffee in the rooms would be nice.
Quiet location in particular; pleasant, helpful staff; tidy, neat appearance of hotel. I actually like the shower arrangement and have come across it in my travels in other countries but some people might find it strange not to have a separate shower recess.
Very efficient at check in and check out, and friendly attentive staff. Room was very spacious, and air conditioned [essental at time of year]. And convenient for town centre facilities.
The hotel was in a quiet area of the city not far from the walking street, which leads to the beach. Staff were friendly and available 24 hours. I was pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful, spacious room nicely furnished and a nicely tiled bathroom. I believe this was, perhaps, the nicest hotel I have experienced on this trip of 6 weeks in 6 Balkan countries. Breakfast was generous and nicely prepared. The hotel has a very nice dining room with a Garden restaurant in addition. I would class this hotel as a boutique hotel. It was charming. The only disadvantage of the hotel is there is no lift, but I did not find it detrimental. I did not eat in the dining room because there was no English menu. Everything looked good and it was always busy. The area near the hotel had some neat pubs and great clothing shops.
The staff and cleanliness
the room is very nice - big
Everything!I do suggest this place to everyone, absolutely perfect!
Beautiful building full of character, friendly staff, and a good location. Also a nice and good restaurant
Restaurant and general atmosphere of the hotel was very good. Room was clean and I often found complimentary refreshing surprises you never encounter in other hotels. Staff was very helpful, but with limited english skills (was not really problem). Shower and toilet arrangement was a bit uncomfortable (with limited room), but still, I would not complain considering good price.
the location is perfect (the hotel is almost on the beach), the rooms are nice
Very helpful and frendly. Keen to make us happy. No Internet on 4th floor
Price and loction you could hear the noise from the Bar restaurant
I like most of all the value for money. Liked also the location (right on the beach) and how the restaurant looked (unfortunately was closed for the moment). Rooms clean, new and ok, I would highly recommend especially for budget travelling. No complains about the hotel whatsoever, but I noticed the beach wasn't that great: was full with algae. But maybe in the summer is better.
Nice view, friendly staff Staff speaking only bulgarian. Adress hard to find !
I like the room. The problem with the booking this hotel was that on the reservation it was mentioned that breakfast is included and wireless network available. In fact there were no breakfast and even the wireless network was present we could not access internet.
Cheap price. Quiet rooms. Hotel staff were non-existent! A security guard was manning the check-in desk at 11 pm!
location unfriendly staff
The gym was good locatıon and servıce
You have a portier,Svetlio or something like thet. If yuo have more like him... Gratulations, your hotell would be perfect The stab who ignorde us even that we tryd to explaion our problem in "bodylaundwich)
It was clean and tidy, except old and dirty carpet in the room Some of the hotel staff was very rude. The girl who was on reception during the evening/night on 16th of August was very rude. She took our passports on the first day and told us she'll not return untill we'll pay. It's ridiculous and against the law. Also the internet service was included in the price but she try to charge us.It was another staff on reception on 17th of August and it was no problem
Close vicinity to the centre of Burgas 1St . I paid more for the hotel than stated by Booking.com. Hotel said this was due to exchange rate change. Even though I paid in euros! This was a con. I was told to pay for 2 towels I used they would not clean. I refused to pay for these. Gym equipment in very poor condition.
We liked nothing as the hotel was nothing like the description on the website. The staff were friendly but that was it. The hotel did not fit the description on your website! It has absolutely no sea views - there is an entire city block between it and the waterfront. The plumbing was extremely noisy as was the street outside. The fridge was unusable as when we plugged it into the power it made a noise like a pneumatic drill! At the price it is easy to find much better hotels in Bulgaria.
big apartaments, clean, nice staff no complains
I loved the suite, it was spacious, well organized, and luxurious. The housekeeper came every day a was very friendly. The location was not far from the beach and the two huge balconies gave us space to seat around and views at sunrises and sunsets. Overall i was very happy with the hotel. I had never used the swimming pool, it was too cold. I also went to a few breakfeast buffets and they were just ok, needed a little more variety. The stuff needs just a little more improvement with regards to profesional service.
excellent services and cleanliness, position close to the best beach in Pomorie
Nice clean hotel with nice pool no kettle for self catering. Not much in pomorie for tourists to do
Great room, great facilities, great location The staff, one in particular lost her cool and lashed out at us which i thin could have been done differently
Quality of the appartment; air conditioning
All the receptionists were very helpful throughout our stay. Daily cleaning of rooms and fresh towels were also welcomed. Good standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel. Airport only 15 minutes away. Shop could have been better stocked with fresh bread and vegetables.
big spaces everywhere, good food receptionist offer taxi which cost almost double than regular price; at least one person from restaurant should speak very well english
The friendliness of the staff, the excellent room and the good food. The fact that it was partly under construction was not informed in advance. The service was full of good will - but the fact that there is no management available in weekends meant that we had to wait for additional missing room equipment for 3 days ... In the room there was a stove - but no pans to put on it. There was a good set of knives - but no cutting board.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff even ironing my shirts free of charge. It is a friendly family run Hotel and very good value for money.
Welcome was good, English is spoken which always scores points as it is the international language. Location was good just 5 mins from anything. Thought there could have been a seat instead of a stool. Any 3* hotel or above in the 21st century should have tea & coffee making facilities in the rooms as standard. Did not think that all staff being absent on Sunday night was a good idea. Must stress though that this hotel was comfortable and well located and reasonably priced.
We double booked by mistake but the hotel rectified the problem very quickly and at no extra charge. The location is great, next to bus station. Facilities were comfortable and relaxing. Rooms were of decent size and lovely and warm. Not much choice for breakfast and it was a bit cold
Ideal central location close to railway station, spacious rooms couteous staff , easy to find with excellent views over the city from the top floors. the breakfast was poor with little choice , the hotel facilities are slightly dated but is made up by the warmness of the staff
Room was very clean, air-conditioning in room worked well, had a great view. Hotel itself is conveniently located, right near main pedestrianised streets with lots of cafes and shops. Train station is within walking distance. Staff were friendly enough, it helps if you use a few simple Bulgarian words like "please" and "thank you" to break the ice. Pool was not open , nor did they have any estimate when it would be open, which was very annoying as pool availability was part of the reason we chose this hotel. Air-conditioning in hotel lobby and bar was not good, but this seemed to be the norm in Burgas.
The rooms were very clean, the lobby area was very spacious and the hotel had lots of extra facilities. I found the staff on the reception desk to be quite rude, they wouldn't answer my questions and also gave me wrong directions causing me to get lost in the city. For this reason only I wouldn't stay there again.
The central location with good facilities. The office on site for onward travel was most useful. Although the hotel was not busy the staff seemed to know guests very quickly a real bonus.
a communist-style built hotel but recently re-arranged, nice rooms, a pleasant place to stay, right in the center of the town and close to the beach
nothing /nic breakfest very very poor, service too // bardzo zle sniadanie i serwis jak z lat 80-tych w sieci Orbis
location , clean room, one lady on reception very pleasant and helpful, on site shop very useful and girl in shop very pleasant and helpful all male staff very surly, looked bored and quite rude and unpleasant to guests they should earn from the ladies
The room was very nice, clean and well decorated. All appliances were new and worked fine. The staff were helpful, courteous and had good English. The hotel was right on the beach and still very close to the town and to shops. The spa was small but good. At the time that I stayed, all around the hotel was a building site. The room, advertised as a ''sea-side view" (for an extra 5 euro per night) did not look out on to the sea, but to the adjacent half-built buildings. Wired internet access in the rooms was promised but not delivered.
no parking places, no roads, no green spaces, rest of concrete after building, no interes from local authorities - except pool, nothing inside or in neighborhood of hotel.
the hotel is very clean, elegant, and has all conforts 1) as the hotel is in the middle of a new developping area, it is surrounded by building sites; the road is not paved, we didn't care at all about that, but I guess some people would find it a bit shocking. 2) the staff at the reception is uncapable of managing the payment: only cash (and that's not a problem), only the exact amount because they can't give you the change (!!!), never seen that!
furniture and equipment in the room hotel is filthy, noisy and expensive
No visitors, sea view, very close location to Spa facilities (lake mud & solt treatment) Very cold rooms since no sunshine appeared in that part of the building
brand new hotel, not yet finished during our stay, views spectacular, hotel wonderful when completed. Sevelina, the manageress very professional and caring.... could not have asked for a better service from her building sites all round
It is a very new hotel. The pools are OK + the hotel is very close to the beach (which is a very nice beach compared to other ones in Bulgaria). Close to the old town of Pomorie, where you can shop and walk around. The furniture of the rooms are nice, also air conditioning working perfectly. The hotel is as usual for bulgaria surrounded by construction sites. The view therefore out of the rooms is not perfect. Also there was some construction going on, also on the weekend, which was disturbing sometimes.
The facilities of the hotel - great. Everything you might need - you have in the room. Swimming pools clean and nice. View out of the room super! The hotel is in construction area - but if you know it - it is completely not a problem. No facilities to dry the clothes (drying stand).
The hotel staff were really helpful. The room was really big and clean, with a fantastic view of the sea and beach. The food served at the restaurant in the hotel was expectionally good.
Great spacious room, nice sea view. Also the hotel restaurant is very good both quality and price/value.
nothing was a bother, the owners were on hand all day for any problems the hotel was the best quality one in Pomorie, the lcoation was first class the staff were very friendly and the food good . nothing
very good hotel, friendly and helpful staff, excellent location, large and safe parking, good food, good bar. none
